it seemed to jenny that the city had once again calmed down after the most recent chaotic times and so she once again found herself rather bored. thus she had decided on simply buying a to-go cup of coffee and take a walk in the park, due to the relatively good weather. it was a habit she’d like to continue as the scenery was much more preferable than the one in woodsboro, at least in her opinion. however her peaceful walk was interrupted once she was harshly bumped into, resulting in her dropping the still half-full coffee. “watch where you’re going!” she snapped at the other looking at them with a glare, only to see a stranger. “coffee’s not cheap and neither are these shoes.” even though it was the smallest of bits that had ended up spilling onto her, it was still more than enough to further anger her.

Daeron was looking through the books in the store, a smile on his face as he looked over a few of them. There was so much to choose from, he didn’t even know where to start. It reminded him a bit about Oldtown, with the amount of books they had here, although they certainly had more different ones than they did back home. Daeron was fascinated by the fantasy ones, the ones who told stories that were made up, they didn't have that in Oldtown. Daeron was about to pull a book from the shelf when he ended up hitting a pile that was being stored and everything came down to the floor. "Seven hells." He mumbled, kneeling down on the floor to pick them up.

"these tourists are going to be the death of me--" vesta grumbled as she had to change her pathway home yet again. they were so tired of cherry blossom season, relieved that it was starting to come to an end, and then getting through the mall wouldn't be as much of a headache.

"i wish we'd at least have some idea of how long these things would last." qingyang said, trying to move quickly through the list of errands she had written out. maybe stopping for casual conversation wasn't the best idea, but it let her relax a little, pretend there was a sense of normalcy. "i have no idea how long to prepare for. do you think the library is still open with everything going on? i'm going to need at least a few books if i'm just hiding out for days."
