ok ok i have an idea so jj x mermaid reader but they've met on many strange occasions. so the first time that jj meets mermaid reader is when he almost drowns, and she saves him from the gators. the second time?? it's up to you <3

ohh i love this!! mermaid!reader is super curious, so i can totally imagine her going off on her own to explore the marsh. the gators would probably lead her to where jj is floating in the weeds, but luckily she’s able to coax them away with a few hand-caught fish so she can drag the boy to safety.

she’d never seen a human up close before, so she’s understandably a little terrified. she checks his teeth and stays alert, worried for once that maybe the stories you’d been told were true. unfortunately, their time together is fleeting, he starts to wake up as the rumble of a boat draws closer, and the sound of people shouting in the distance leaves only enough time for a moment of eye contact before she slinks back into the water, leaving the blonde where he’s laying in the cattails. his friends find him no problem, and he has no recollection of how he ended up there.

i think they officially meet when the pogues begin their search for the royal merchant out in the deep ocean. maybe she shows up on their underwater camera? or maybe she only reveals herself to jj, feeling safer with him after seeing for herself that at least he’s not dangerous. i love the idea of them accidentally meeting a few times before that though, and i reaaally want to dedicate a whole fic to them meeting for the first time <3

his love for you is deep, sure, but you have to remember that he's a crown prince — he doesn't have the time to love you as much as he wishes. he tries to compensate for that by showering you with gifts originating from all three realms, all of them being worth more than your house.

Blood: How messy are they willing to get when it comes to their darling?

he doesn't get messy, no no. barbatos does! he just needs to say the word and his loyal butler will get it done, no doubt. there are probably dozens of bodies rotting in the dungeons below the castle, but that's not for you to see or worry about.

Cruelty: How would they treat their darling once abducted? Would they mock them?

i can see his duality switching up very quickly depending on his mood. he could either be gently cooing to you, almost begging for you to not cry. OR he could be really sadistic and cruel, taunting you to no end — reminding you that you are his for the rest of your life — both as a human and as a devil and angel.

Darling: Aside from abduction, would they do anything against their darling’s will?

he guilt trips you to noooooo end. what do you mean his gifts are too expensive for you? do you hate him? well, if you don't, you simply must accept them all! he gives you no room for negotiation, how could you anyway? his parents aren't around anymore, don't you feel sorry for him?

Exposed: How much of their heart do they bare to their darling? How vulnerable are they when it comes to their darling?

he doesn't like showing you his vulnerable side. he needs to be strong so you can rely on him, after all! thank god (is god the right word for him???) he's spent decades learning how to maintain his composure.

Fight: How would they feel if their darling fought back?

he would intimidate you into breaking your resolve. he would transform into his demon form and coerce you with threats like tying you up in the basement. i don't think he'd ever actually do that though — he knows human lives are fragile.

Game: Is this a game to them? How much would they enjoy watching their darling try to escape?

he takes his relationship with you very seriously. he expects you to rule next to him — he still needs to prepare you for that role, so don't you dare leave.

Hell: What would be their darling’s worst experience with them?

although diavolo would never keep you in the castle basement, he will throw you in there for a few minutes just to scare you. he did it once as a last resort after you threw a fit — locking you in one of the clean cells. you were quickly fished out though, he can't risk having you go around and finding the corpses of the people you know.

Ideals: What kind of future do they have in mind for/with their darling?

he wants you to rule devildom next to him so marriage is a given. having heirs is up to you but he will be very disappointed if you say you don't want any — he may even consider baby trapping you at one point. he probably gives you etiquette lessons too, making sure you know your role in the near future.

Jealousy: Do they get jealous? Do they lash out or find a way to cope?

he gets very jealous but doesn't want to admit it to you. he'll find excuses for getting rid of your close friends and family — you've heard some absurd reasons before but you don't dare question him.

Kisses: How do they act around or with their darling?

very very affectionate. he likes to keep you around him as much as he can. whether or not that means resting in his bedroom, lounging in his office while he works or sitting on his lap on his throne. he's shameless too, he'll initiate pda anywhere and anytime he wants.

he cant decide if he should properly court you or just claim you as his immediately. he is the prince of hell, how and who are you to say no? he ends up choosing to court you instead but he runs out of patience eventually, and just abducts you with the assistance of barbatos.

Mask: Are their true colors drastically different from the way they act around everyone else?

although you'll most likely never see his true colors, he's literally insane. if it weren't for his amazing composure, he'd be lashing out at everyone and everything for even breathing the same air as you. you've noticed him tense up to the point where he's almost shaking from rage. (he's gonna pop and burst like a balloon eheh)

Naughty: How would they punish their darling?

if it's a light sentence, he lightly slap your face and remind you to obey. if you've done something horrendous, he'll lock you in his room till you've learnt your lesson. he's sick, while he carries on with his day, he imagines you clawing at the door, begging to be released from your confinement. (i dont think it wld get that far)

Oppression: How many rights would they take away from their darling?

you're not allowed to go out of the castle grounds. the gardens are still available to you but anywhere outside of the fences is a no no for you. you're not allowed to talk to any staff and angels except barbatos. he and the brothers are for you to use at your disposal, feel free to work them to the bone if that's what you wished.

Patience: How patient are they with their darling?

you may mistake him for being patient since he's quick to forgive you for your insolence but no. he's not used to not getting what he wants immediately, but he will forgive you easily. (aka he's impatient)

Quit: If their darling dies, leaves, or successfully escapes, would they ever be able to move on?

death isn't an escape for you, it doesn't matter if you're reborn as an angel or devil in your next life — he will have you either way. screw harmony between the three realms, he'll start another celestial war if it means he can have you.

Regret: Would they ever feel guilty about abducting their darling? Would they ever let their darling go?

he doesn't feel guilty at all. he has never been told no before in his royal upbringing and he feels entitled to have you to himself.

Stigma: What brought about this side of them (childhood, curiosity, etc)?

his mother passed early in his childhood and he hasn't seen his dad in decades or even centuries. no one around him is comfortable enough to talk to him normally till innocent you arrived in the devildom. you're too precious to him, he wants to know more about you. no, he needs to know — everything about you.

Tears: How do they feel about seeing their darling scream, cry, and/or isolate themselves?

he'll gently coo at you, telling you that everything will be fine as long as you're with him. what could possibly harm you when he's the future king? (you yourself, duh)

if you could somehow get in contact with the angels, you could get them to rescue you. although, in doing so, you might just start a war between the two realms.

he quite literally kisses the ground you walk on, going as far as to collect some of your belongings to worship. he wouldn't build a shrine but he does secretly store all of them in a little safe in the corner of his room.

Yearn: How long do they pine after their darling before they snap?

after the events of the first game. he was really tempted to abduct you after belphegor almost offed you though. (do the calculations yourself ehe)

Zenith: Would they ever break their darling?

i don't think he would intentionally break you, but he also fails to realize that the fear and paranoia he puts you in is leading you down the same path. (so yes but unintentionally)

ohh cool i've never considered this question before!! seal teeth are pretty interesting, it turns out. seals are born with teeth, unlike most mammals, and they usually have 34-38 teeth, depending on the species. here's my ranking of the top five types of seal teeth.

crabeater seal teeth

these things have to be number one simply because they're cool as fuck. despite its name, the crabeater seal doesn't actually eat crabs. instead, it uses its specialized teeth to filter krill out of the water, just like whales!

2. elephant seal teeth

they're nothing fancy like the crabeater seal teeth, but they have to be big and strong since elephant seals use them to fight. plus I think it's so funny how they just look like two little points when an elephant seal opens its mouth.

3. leopard seal teeth

these look a little like crabeater seal teeth, right? leopard seals eat krill too, but also fish, squid, penguins, and even smaller seals! their teeth look very sharp and pointy. leopard seal probably ranks #1 on my list of seals I would least like to be bitten by.

4. harbor seal teeth

I like how they're so uniform and neat. politely sharp little points. this harbor seal is getting its teeth brushed! harbor seals don't use their teeth for chewing -- they're mostly used to get a good grip on fish, which they will then swallow whole.

5. harp seal teeth

delicate and beautiful. need I say more? the harp seal eats many different fish and ocean invertebrates.

♤ And the rest of the night was just you and Will relaxing on the couch watching some cliché romantic comedy, without any kind of explosions or murderous chases.

Oh so real!! Aaa I would love to learn more about RSA. It's been, like, what? 4 and a half years now? They've gotta give us something eventually!! Vesuvia Weekly: The Marketplace Incident

~ my little written sketch for @vesuviaweekly's prompt "How Things Went Wrong (feat the Arcana familiars)". Enjoy an afternoon from the perspective of my fandom self-insert :3 ~

Word count: 1.5k

The marketplace really is the best spot to write in. The bustle of afternoon shoppers in the sunny square is a soothing view from my shaded nook, tucked between Selasi's booth and an alleyway of stairs. The steady sea breeze makes the parchment in front of me flutter, carrying the smell of spiced bread as it tousles my hair from my forehead.

"Need a refill?" The baker leans on the stone wall above the low table I'm pretending to draft my next story on. "Maybe it will help the ink flow better."

"Thanks, Selasi, but I'm afraid I've barely had a sip." I gesture to my mostly-full clay cup. "It's a good blend, though - what did you use for it this time?"

"A craftsman never shares his secrets." He hunches closer, not-so-subtly trying to sneak a peek at my handwriting. "What is today's writing about? More of our six friends' adventures, by a friendly young man whose signature is a rotting brain?"

I roll my eyes at his teasing smile. "Okay, using the moniker 'brainrot' doesn't automatically mean gruesome physical decay -"

We both jump at the sudden cat's yowl from the direction of the baker's counter. A fuzzy orange blur streaks to my corner, tiny claws digging into my shirt as it uses me as a ladder to get to Selasi's shoulder.

"Pounce? What is it, little one?"

"Bad dogs!" Faust's face pops into view, her body slowly unwinding from the cloth umbrella over me.

I barely have time to stabilize her plop onto my arm before I catch sight of two more barking fuzzy blurs tearing around the corner, a screeching raven flapping frantically after them. All three start heading in my direction as soon as they see me stand up to intervene. "Mercedes, Melchior! Come here!"

As ill-trained as I know Lucio's dogs are, the half-finished roll I hold out in their direction is more than enough to convince them. They slide to a halt in front of me, paws and tail still skittering from side to side, eyes trained on the treat. The flustered raven descends on my shoulder and Faust scoots onto Selasi's arm to give him more space.

"It's rare to see these fellows here without their owners ..." The baker runs his hand over Pounce's bushed-out tail in a soothing arc. "Did something happen?"

"What didn't happen?" I mumble in response. I don't think I recognize the strange goop Faust has left on my shirt, or the hooped earring in Malak's beak, or the concerningly pleasant smell wafting off of the dog's silky coats. I hold out my palm in front of the bird on my shoulder. "Give me the shiny, please. Which friend did you take this from?"

"Took it when I squeezed!"

"Who did you squeeze, Faust? Was it Julian?"

"Stinky count. Stole my fishies!"

The hissed voice clearly belongs to a cat, but it's not coming from the trembling ginger tabby in Selasi's arms. Pepi lopes into view on the wall above me with a smug look on her little face. Oh, right. I keep forgetting that she learned how to talk ...

"Lucio ... stole your fish?"

"Pepi earned the fishies - Pepi was a good cat and caught all the rats! Went to the docks to get the fishies, but he took them first!"

I try to piece the narrative together, noticing what looks like a pearly white owl listening in from the roof of the booth. "So ... Portia went to buy Pepi some fish, but Lucio bought them first? Where did the earring come from?"

"Master tried to help!"

"Oh, did Asra try to trade their earring for the fish? I thought his piercings closed up years ago."

Malak caws loudly in protest. Faust wiggles and bobs from her perch on Selasi's shoulder as the distant owl takes off for a different corner of the marketplace.

"Not Master's earring."

I study the golden hoop, finally catching the protective gleam in Malak's eye. "Ohh, this is Julian's, isn't it? Okay, from the top." I watch five pairs of animal eyes point back in my direction. "Portia went to get fish for Pepi, but Lucio bought them first. Asra tried to intervene, and then Julian offered an earring that he apparently owns to bargain for the fish with. Is that right?"

I almost miss the variety of nods when a thick coat of fur unexpectedly brushes across the backs of my knees. When I look down, it's right into Inanna's bright green eyes - and the torn bag of rice in her mouth. She drops it at my feet, spilling the grains across the ground and sending Malak into a flurry of indignant squawks. The wolf curls up for a nap at my heels, completely unfazed. Selasi gently sets Faust on my abandoned parchment and returns to his oven with an amused "good luck!"

"O-Okay." I drag my hand down my face and do my best to analyze the mess. "So why do the dogs smell nice, why is Faust slimy enough to smudge my ink, and why am I the one currently holding Julian's mystery hoop?"

"Squeeze the thief! Rescue the shiny! Run away fast!"

Faust bleps her tongue proudly, while Pepi takes a smug seat on the stones and the dogs begin to growl. One warning huff from the large wolf pretending to sleep behind me quietens the impending ruckus.

"And ... do I want to know about the slime and the fruity smells?"

Pepi yawns above me, slowly succumbing to the sun-warmed wall. "Beauty stall."

Faust curls herself elegantly over my story draft in an attempt to flaunt her shiny scales. "Moisturize."

"You're practically glowing, Faust. Such a beautiful girl!" Asra's trotting in my direction, a very sweaty pair of Devorak siblings close behind and a red-faced ex-count bringing up the rear. The magician scoops her up off of the table, my freshly hydrated parchment going with it, as Pepi uses the top of my head as a springboard into Portia's arms. Julian gives his judgemental raven a sheepish look before brightening at the earring in my palm.

"Did you leave us the rice trail, Faust?" Asra scritches the serpent's chin.

"Wait - rice trail? What rice trail? Is that how you knew where you were going? Where did they get - my rice!"

Inanna gives the shocked doctor a guiltily amused look, nudging the torn bag with her nose and watching the last of the grains spill onto my feet. Lucio straightens from where's been fussing over his perfumed dogs, finally catching his breath.

"Hah! Serves you right for trying to take my fish!"

Portia bristles and turns on him as Inanna slinks off to the large figure skulking in the shadows several booths away. "Your fish? That vendor and I have been friends for three years, you heard him say that I'd get first pick!"

I can't tell if Lucio is grinning or gritting his teeth. "Does it matter? I already paid for those things, they were the least smelly ones!"

"Enough!" The Countess's firm voice rings across the corner of the square, effectively halting the brewing squabble that's hijacking my writing corner. Chandra reassumes her perch on the baker's booth roof as Nadia rubs her temples in resigned frustration. "I have already paid for a year's worth of cosmetics. I have no interest in paying for your argument with a headache as well."

She heaves a tired sigh as the familiars settle in with their owners, sparing me a comforting glace. "Considering the paperless state of your table, I trust there were no writing casualties involved?"

Portia scurries over with a worried look. "Oh, I'm so glad you hadn't started yet!"

"Well ..."

"I think we did interrupt him, unfortunately." Asra's already taking a seat at my table, holding a fresh bowl of rolls in one hand and my smudged paper in the other while Faust hides guiltily in their shirt. "What's a 'ringtone'?"

Julian helps himself to the paper. "Allow me - perhaps I can shed some light on - ah!"

I've already given up hope on restoring my draft, so I don't wince nearly as badly as my friends do as a sharp, golden hand snatches my handwriting and rips it in the process. Lucio's pout deepens the further he reads. "I'm not in this."

"He's probably not finished it." Nadia holds her hand out, impervious to Lucio's begrudging surrender, and carefully offers the paper back to me. "We should leave you in peace, or you'll never meet your deadline."

Portia takes the cue and begins herding Lucio back to the docks for a fresh round of fish. Nadia gives Asra a pointed look, resulting in them stuffing the last of their roll into their mouth and rising from the cushions. They leave the last two pieces of bread for me.

"Julian," I call as he turns away, "one more question."

"Ah - yes?"

"What's the story with the earring?"

"Oh!" He flushes unexpectedly, fumbling the hoop away into his pocket. "... it, ah, it doesn't go in my ear. Adieu!"

The Boys are on their own again after Greg left the school beyond the Veil. But they are quite busy. Lots of homework, training and filling Ji Ho in on their previous lessons Defense against the Dark Arts and Care of Magical Creatures. And, when Jack was fit again, they went over to Ye Olde Magick Shoppe, to buy books and supplies for their studies and upcoming lessons.

Jeb had been here before when he met Valerian for the first time, but for the others it's an exciting new world! They looked at the shop windows and exhibited artefacts in awe. There is a little Axolotl peering from behind the barrels!

And there's another one - for sale! Jack was fascinated: "Ohh - please, can I have it?" Saiwa: "What? No! We barely have enough money to buy all our school stuff! And we'll have to work for months to pay for the tution!" Jack: "Oh, come on, Sai! I just collapsed from all the pain I'm having for months now! And I got struck by lightning! And my Lou betrayed me! And you almost cried when you saw me lieing there after the fights I had to endure for your training. Please, hm? My nectar is selling so well and Kiyoshi is willing to make some extra fine cheese to compensate the costs. Won't you, Kiyoshi?" Since Kiyoshi is absent and drifting again, none of them expected an answer, but Kiyoshi said: "I will." Saiwa threw his hands in the air in surrender: "Fine!"

Jeb and the others already went inside to pick their stuff from Ms Coombes list. The vendor remembered him: "Hey Jeb! Have you and your boyfriend been satisfied with our Spicy Surprise Sac you bought last time? We have some great new additions to top it up! You surely won't miss them!" Jeb blushed: "Uhm no, o.o' just the items from the list, please." Omg! Jeb really hopes the others didn't hear that! Jeb: "You really have a wide selection of ...this stuff - for a school ö.ö'" Vendor: "Thanks! The demand is huge! And we also ship, should you be in need of anything. Delivery within 11 minutes after your order slips in. You might want to subscribe to our monthly box? Your grandmother is receiving hers since she left school!" Yeah, this goes definitely in the category 'Things I don't want to know about my Grandmother'...

Ji Ho and Vlad explore the shop together. With their Bond silenced to protect Ji Ho from overload, it became even more awkward between them (if that's even possible -.-). The Bond usually tells them how the other feels. But without it - and now that Ji Ho has his feelings back - and the knowledge that maybe Ji Ho's grandfather and the Council initiated the relationship between them to get a grip on Vlad's powers, neither Ji Ho nor Vlad knows how to deal with their relationship. Best is to wait until they found out if Ji Ho's grandfather has his evil flippers in this. And they know Ms Coombes well enough to know that this can't be rushed. She has her own way of teaching them and she wants them to solve this by themselves. Teaching a man how to fish... Which makes sense, they can't rely on the help of the others from the Resistance - they are an independent sub unit and they have to act as such - and the others are busy with their own stuff. So here, they are going to learn the basics to protect themselves and others in need - and this takes time. Ji Ho spotted some lilies. A lily had been Vlad's first secret present for Ji Ho and they accompany them through their ups and downs. (The Lily represents beauty, purity, transformation, rebirth, and devotion.) He takes this as a good omen. They've come so far already, they are going to overcome this too. Yeah, Vlad and Ji Ho are busy with their own stuff and - luckily - didn't hear the sales pitch between Jeb and the vendor ö.Ö'

Jeb took them upstairs to pick their school books. Ji Ho can't takes his eyes off of Vlad ^^' Since he got his feelings back, he craves Vlad's proximity and wants to be close to him. Vlad looks so happy. He's a writer and he loves his books :3 And here - beyond the Veil - there are books he finds nowhere else.

Ji Ho: "Omg why are these books so huge! How are we supposed to carry them around at school?" Jeb: "I know, right. The books had been the reason why I bulked up so much when Francine kept me busy after..." Ji Ho put his hand on Jeb's shoulder and squeezed lightly. Jeb doesn't need to keep on talking. Ji Ho knows that he was about to say '...after my breakup with Saiwa.' (Their first breakup.)

Eventually Sai, Jack and Kioyoshi entered the shop. Jeb called Kiyoshi upstairs. And the other vendor greeted Sai: "Have you been satisfied with the wand Kiyoshi gave to you? Did it fit your ... needs? You surely already ran out of the polish. If you buy two, you get one for free!" Omg! Sai almost forgot about that wand ö.Ö' Jeb and him never got to use it since they broke up - again... Well, it wasn't exactly a breakup - more of a break - after Sai's breakdown... Surely Sai won't discuss the wand in front of Jack ö.ö Sai: "I don't know what you're talking about! Let's find the others, Jack." Only, that Jack already knows about the wand... and he's still in shock - not about the wand, he knows how popular and useful they are - it shocked him that Kiyoshi gave it to Saiwa. And so he didn't ask and let Sai shove him away from that booth to find their school stuff... and Sai just hopes Jeb didn't overhear their sales pitch o.o

Kiyoshi, Vlad and the axolotl sat in a quiet corner. And the frog wondered why Kiyoshi looked so sad...

Gen-san: I understand. Let's start by learning how to stand.

Gen-san: Each one of you stands in front of a drum.

Gen-san: Momo-kun, you stand in front of the large drum in the center. Riku-kun and Gaku-kun, please stand in front of the medium-sized ones on each side.

Nanase Riku: Momo-san's drum is huge...!

Yaotome Gaku: It’s really impactful! It really feels like the main one.

Nanase Riku: Momo-san is in the center!

Momo: The center, huh! Re:vale doesn't really have that so it’s refreshing, I’m kinda happy!.

Nanase Riku: Well, us three are a special unit right now so we'll support you, Momo-san!

Momo: Thanks, Riku! Since I have you two supporting me, I need to do my best too.

Gen-san: Hmmm... I was going to teach you how to stand but you already look graceful. Maybe you should pull your shoulders back a bit to open your chests?

Momo: Opening our chest, huh…Like this? 

Gen-san: Ah… Yes, exactly. Your posture is good and so is your intuition. Riku-kun and Gaku-kun have a very upright standing posture, too.

Gen-san: And now, first bow to the drum before holding the drumsticks... 

Nanase Riku & Momo & Yaotome Gaku: ...

Gen-san: ...Oho. You've already done it.

Nanase Riku: Ah...! I’m sorry for doing it without your instruction...!

Yaotome Gaku: My body moved on its own...

Momo: Ahaha... I just wanted to greet the drums properly since they'll be helping us at the festival.

Gen-san: Fufu. No need to apologize… There's nothing more to say about your readiness.

Momo: ...Thank you very much!

Gen-san: Well then, you can finally pick up the drumsticks and start playing.

Gen-san: I apologize for the lack of practice time, but I'll teach you everything I can. So please look forward to the Japanese drum performance.

Nanase Riku & Momo & Yaotome Gaku: Yes! We're looking forward to working with you!

Momo: I'll pour my heart and soul into it so that the townsfolk can also call this year's Autumn Leaves Festival a good one!

eeeeee ok so i decided to write a lil oneshot of the chain as cryptids au, with a little bit of self projection onto wild- (i made him autistic and use they/them - slighting non binary coded on accident🙏 which i hope is ok, i just got carried away)

Wild was, well- wild. He didn’t take kindly to being forced into a box, some would call them a man because he looked like it, when in reality wild was just wild. Not a ‘man’ or ‘woman’- just wild. He was also told by strangers, whenever in one of their brothers hyrules, they would get caught into conversations somehow and were told that they were rude for not making eye contact and moving around- when in reality that just meant they were paying attention! Hylians were just weird! When wild joined the chain of strange heroes, he felt like an outcast in some ways, these were all beings who knew how to interact with each other, wild liked cooking for them, it was wilds way of showing they cared and did want to be friends, which was not something he normally did, but you know- when your forced to travel with people Sometimes, they would find a stream, and practice facial expressions and giving eye contact, but they’d get lost focusing on the fish darting into their reflection. The stream was going at a slow pace, but the sounds of it rippling through itself was nice. The sounds of the forest creatures coming by to drink the cold water and leaving just as quick made the atmosphere just as good. Eventually sky had came by, probably to come get me to make dinner. 

“Everything alright?”

He chirped, crouching beside me. His wings folded in on himself as to not hit me into the river, since he did have past accidents of doing so. I nodded, my antennas swaying in the wind, i watched the stream carefully, picking out the patterns in the way it moved downstream, i think wind would’ve liked to sink into the water, it was deep enough to sit in. Sky was probably going to say something else, but i saw the sun hit something just right in the water that made it sparkle. I immediately dunked my hand in, making sky jump at my sudden movement, i got whatever it was, and tugged it out of the soil. I shook my hand dry, and found that i had grabbed a bracelet, with sea patterns, strange runes on it, and opal gemstones engraved into it.

“Ohh cool! I wonder what it does! We should ask legend! He might know since it seems ocean themed and he’s a merman of sorts”

Sky ecstatically ushered me to follow him back to camp, so when we got back, sky darted to legend. He had dragged him over, and legend carefully examined the metal bracelet.

“Looks like something to keep you from getting wet, the bracelet i assume is something that can absorb water into the opal gems that would originally get in your clothes or skin and keeps it dry.”

He explained, handing the bracelet back to me. I nodded, smiling softly. If there was one thing i knew, is that hyrule didn’t like getting wet in his fairy form, and he was the few people I’d yet to truly interact with for longer than a few conversations. I knew he was out and about, but i didn’t know where- i decided to wait, sitting patiently in a tree as i swung back and forth repeatedly by my legs on a sturdy branch. Hyrule came back a couple minutes later, with wood in his arms. He set them down and sat next to legend, sparking up a conversation. I didn’t want to interrupt, but hyrule needed to have it! Even if wild did really want it, hyrule would like it more and find better use for it. I hopped down, small bells and chimes sounding from no where as i basically bounced over to where hyrule was sitting. I stood near his field of view, trying to find a pause in their conversation to make movement and get his attention. For a couple seconds, it was quiet between them, and hyrule looked to me. 

“What’s up?”

He softly questioned me, raising a brow. My antennas flicked as i registered his question, and i remembered why I’d been standing there. I extended the bracelet to him, he was a bit taken aback, but smiled and took it. 

“Thank you wild! What is it?”

He tilted his head, looking to me again. I waved a hand to legend, trying to ask him to explain- which he got the memo. 

“Oh! Wild gave you a bracelet that helps keep you dry, it seems the opal and runes engraved on it give it magical properties to keep water off your skin and clothes.”

He explained once more, pointing to the engravings and opal gems he was talking about. Hyrules wings fluttered slightly, in which i hoped was joy, he turned to me and smiled even wider than before. 

“Thank you! This means a lot, since i know you like to hoard things like this, and you’re willingly giving it up for me.”

He sounded slightly guilty in his tone, which i managed to pick out based off his head bowing. I waved a hand in front of his face to get his attention, my antennae’s flattened as i scowled at him.

‘Give you, make me happy, you happy’

I signed to the best of my ability, getting my whole gesture across. He nodded, smiling again. 

“Thank you, again-“

He laughed softly, it sounded energetic, which meant he was happy. That cheered me up, Hyrule hopefully knew i wanted to be best friends now, maybe even brothers! Like how he would refer to legend or wind. Wild knew he would’ve liked the bracelet, but this was a better choice.

And there was me who was laying down at one of the couches, giggling and kicking my feet like a high school girl in love.

"Ah! What are you looking at prefect?" Ace said as him, Deuce and Epel noticed and sat down beside me. "Ohh~ who is tha- WAIT!? IS THAT FLOYD" Ace yelled at my ear earing the attention of the other 2 "Are you stalking Floyd's magicam account!?" Epel yelled. "What? Ofcourse not!" I resorted back in denial. Jack and Sebek now standing behind me, Adeuce in front of me and Epel at my side.

"Then what ARE you doing?" Deuce questioned, "Do you have a crush on him~?" Ace teased, "Why Floyd of all people? Waka-sama is right here! or even Silver is better than him!" Sebek chimed in.

"Crush!? Nononono, im just happen to stumble into his account and decided to look at it for a moment and support him:)" I explained with a blank stare and a pink hue dusting my cheeks. "What kind of support is that?" Jack scoffed suspiciously "The "Social media" support" I rolled my eyes still in denial. "Now shoo, and lets study. We have a quiz tommorow" closing my phone and sat down at the floor ready to study.

"We have a quiz!?" Deuce and Epel panicked. "Why else would we have a group study?" Jack just sigh out of pure dissapointment

"Henchman, you're staring at Azul again" Grim stated in an annoyed tone but has an unbothered expression. "I am not" i whispered so Professor Trein won't caught us. "Yes you are!" "Prefect. Grim. Keep it down and focus on the discussion." Great, he noticed us. Everyone is now staring at us! Even Azul! This is so embarassing...

"Sorry sir.." I muttered out an apology as i bowed my head a bit. "Back to the discussion-" Professor Trein continued and 15 minutes later, he stopped writing on the board, turned around and looked at my direction "Miss/Mister L/n. Are you going to pay attention to class or are you just going to stare at Ashengrotto the entire time of my class?" Shit...

When professor said that as everyone in class looked at me, earning a bunch of "Oh~~" "Ayieee~" and whats worse is that even Azul was staring at me!

He looked completely flustered, glasses tilted and fogged and mouth gaping. He just looked away and trying to gain his composure back...

"Ohh Azul~~" "Ayiee Azul, may nag ka-ka crush saiyo~(oh Azul~, somebody has a crush on you~)" our classmates said. Then Professor trein spoke again, "Everyone settle down. L/n, this is your last warning. Pay attention to class as all of you have quiz tommorow" everybodies attention shifted back to him, some completely flabergasted(Aduece and Grim)

"Now, back to the discussion" I payed attention this time as i dont want to fail tommorow and embarass my self again. But, i took one last peak at Azul and he was staring right back, pink hue dusting his cheeks....

When he saw me staring he completely adverted his gaze into the board, trying not to blush.

"God, save me from this hell..." i whispered to my self and burried my face into my hand as all the first years are laughing at me. Even Grim!

"YOU CANT BE SERIOUS!?" Ace was laughing his ass of along with Deuce

Epel was shaking while covering his mouth so he wouldn't burst out laughing since Vil would kill him

Jack tried to look dissapointed but his face was trying not to smile plus, his tail was waging slightly.

Sebek was mocking laughing at me so loud...

"Fuck you guys. Im just gonna order something for my self only" I stand up and walked to the server?cooks?lunch ghost? Or whatever their called.

Mr. Crewel gave us a performance task to finish in 2 weeks. He grouped us and each group has 4 people to do the task. (Un)luckly i was grouped with, "A-kun" from Octavinelle, Jamil and....Jade. Fuck

How am i suppose to focus with him around!? Like, its not a BAD thing its just that Jade was my first "crush" here in NRC.

We meet 2 weeks before the entire contract fiassco. And when i first saw him, Lord have mercey...

He was absoloutely gorgeous! He was tending his mushrooms and the lighting being a payed actor at that moment.

I was standing about 20ft away from him so i can still see him looking at his mushrooms so fondly? Lovingly? With his face resting on his prompted up hand. God i wish he'd look at me like that...

He noticed me and smiled. From that day on, we talked frequently until, i got roped into Azul's contact to "save" 200 student from his hands..

I had mixed feeling about Jade during the entire chaos happening, but all was cleared at the end of it

I cant belive I still have feelings for him...
