It's award season and while the Oscars may be entertaining, there's another show going on over here all week - The Britt Awards! If you follow along, you know my story is long af and with a long af story you get a lot of classic moments. So I figured, let's see what you all think are the best moments so far in The SimDonia Royals!

Each day next week, there will be a new category with links to some scenes in my story. Below the links, you will find a poll that allows you to cast your vote on who should win the award in that category! The following week, the winners of all the awards will be revealed! Simple enough, right?

Taking a break in between writing this huge post about NAFCAR to say that I think drag racing would be hugely popular in certain places post war. The barrier to entry is really low—some of the older drag cars (Top Fuel dragsters, specifically) are basically an engine sitting behind the driver on a frame. It doesn't require a fancy track or consist of a lot of rules. It's just an acceleration contest, and all you really need is an unbroken stretch of land and you're set. I think particularly scrappy wastelanders would get a kick out of building some wacky dragsters and racing them. I bet a couple of them could even figure out how to cook up nitromethane, or maybe they figure out how to use fusion cells to power their engines. N e way, much to think about.

I listened to some of LCB!Rodya's voice lines, today, and I think it's cute that she calls people "darling" ...

ANY IS FINE DW !!! unless i explicitly state anything, my pronouns change sometimes based on how i currently feel ( genderfluid stuff ) and usually i let people use they/them to default so it's okay

It's difficult to describe growing up my entire life thinking my copy of All Dogs Go to Heaven 2 was in fact simply All Dogs Go To Heaven.

The last thing I remember from this property was watching An All Dogs Christmas Carol.

I have located the first movie, which I have never seen.

Imagine if you always thought that The Secret of Nimh 2 was the actual movie The Secret of Nimh... and then one day you saw the original.

mayhem from mutant island is like one of the characters dreamed. It draws from previous canon, but meshes details together in ways that don't make sense, exactly like our brains do when we dream. even the way the locations change.

specifically I think it was Donny's dream because

1) they start off with the wheels they had when they were 15 and all his bros are saying 'wow great job building these for us'

2) dinosaurs

3) They keep changing outfits, he gets to build so much gear in such a short time (including transformer suits that literally turn into cars)

4) stuff keeps happening to Mikey (anyone else have those stress dreams about your younger sibling drowning, getting shot off into space, kidnapped etc)

5) Leo gets eaten, and the way he pops back out actually vividly reminds me of lucid dreaming, specifically altering your own dream on purpose. I now headcanon all the turtles can do that, some natural affinity and probably trained themselves after Bad Day

6) dinosaurs are good actually, it was Stockman that made them want to eat us

7) the fact that Mikey and Leo keep getting into trouble while Raph is either rescuing or next to Don saying funny lines. His subconscious said 'silly brother, danger magnet brother, and Raphie <3'

like after the wedding and all the chaos that happened at the wedding Donny crashed hard and had a whacky dream

everyone has their categories of little guys they gravitate towards but i kind of realized the one for me that has the most guys in it is probably "autistic-coded, well meaning, soft spoken christian guy" bonus points if they have a romantic (implied)/devoted relationship with another man who is more masculine than him
