One more character that I really wanted to include in my Christmas Minis set 3 🎁 is Baby Polar Bear! 🐻‍❄️ The only question for me was his size—should it be a regular Mini or a middle-sized Mini? 🤔 So, I went the Halloween Bad Cat 🐈‍⬛ way and made it middle-sized! No regrets! 😍

So I found this pattern by Olka Novytska and decided to make it for my third crochet project!

This pattern went fast, only about five or so days! I’m learning about stuff like crocheting in ovals (for the feet and the start of the tail), and honestly, the tail was pretty wild… but it worked, so you know what, it’s all good!

Piece is approximately 7 in / 18 cm tall without counting the ears. I’m surprised that I can get it to stand up! It’s not the MOST stable, but with a little bit of work it is actually self-supporting, so that’s exciting. Really didn’t think that would work.

I used some cardboard and some wire bread ties inside the tail to keep it from being too floppy, and that seems like it’s working.

This crochet stuff is pretty fun!

I'm making an amigurumi Tree Trunks. The lighting in my room isn't great. I just realized she's the same green as a granny Smith apple.

Two little pikachus! These were done a couple of years apart so you can see how I have improved in terms of sewing. The first one is so rough lol.

The first one is a discontinued pattern by Sabrina Somers on Ravelry, however they have a lot more amazing patterns.

The second one is a pattern by Olka Novytska on Ravelry. I just changed mine a little so he sits instead of stands.

Tim Drake in Skyrim notes#1: Tim coping with lack of family, friends, and modern technology... Also dealing with magic, dragons, medieval setting... Lots of grumbling about being trapped in "Tolkien Hell" initially.

Tim Drake in Skyrim notes#2: kinda viewing him as a moody Final Fantasy-esque protagonist as he tries to save the world and get back home. He really has the personality/tragic backstory for the role.

Tim Drake in Skyrim notes#3: future found family teammates (follower mods) - Lucien, Kaidan, Inigo, Vilja, Sofia, Recorder, Auri? (Definitely going to meet Lucien soon, not sure about when/if he'll meet others).

On Halloween night, Scarecrow, Dummy Mummy, Grim Reaper 💀, Little Witch 🧙🏻 and Bad Cat 🐈‍⬛ gathered in the moonlit pumpkin 🎃 patch for a costume contest. Each had spooky costumes. Scarecrow grinned with a crooked smile. Dummy Mummy shuffled mysteriously. Grim Reaper's dark robe billowed, and Little Witch clutched a bubbling cauldron. Bad Cat had no costume, wearing a sly expression. The contest began with eerie music. Scarecrow danced, making others laugh. Dummy Mummy unraveled its gauze, revealing colorful lights. Grim Reaper conjured ghostly illusions. Little Witch turned candy 🍬 into real bats 🦇 Bad Cat knocked over pumpkins, wanting attention. Little Witch cast a spell, summoning candy. Bad Cat pounced into it. Friends enjoyed the party. Bad Cat realized Halloween was about fun, not chaos. As the night ended, they left the patch, ready to create more magical memories together! 😍

It is difficult to believe, but it has been more than 3 years since the release of my Mini Kingdom 👑 book. It was such an amazing experience for me! 😍 I still receive a lot of requests for a new book, and I would really be happy to make it, but as of now, I’m only able to work on short-term crochet projects such as patterns. Most likely, it won’t happen this or even next year 😔 but I still don’t give up hope that everything can change any day for us, the people of Ukraine, so we can plan our lives just a little longer than 1 month into the future!
