crozier's lieutenants are just. the best combination of personalities, i think. they're The Glummest Dampest Man Alive, Freud's Wet Dream, God's Autisticest Little Sailor, and (after a certain point) Guy Psychosexually Obsessed With People-Pleasing. literally the best combination of guys.

i do wish the show made more of fitzjames and little's friendship, though (or indeed Anything much of it). in episode six it's like fitzjames has adopted an ancient shelter dog (you know the kind) and is now trying to encourage said dog onto the couch to cuddle with him.

sympathies this day with only the people experiencing the Terror Takeover that has taken tumblr by storm of late. you blink and then suddenly everybody you know is posting about men with names like goodsir and armitage. unimaginable stress.

i love that irving is the most neurotic little freak but based on how the other two lieutenants immediately fall apart after he dies he was STILL somehow the one keeping their issues in check. like, that doesn't say anything good about ANY of them.
