Omygod. Okay first, I think the God being dead for the longest period is such an interesting concept I read something similar like this before in a fic (adamsapple) called 'the devil you know /by anglotron' so I like it, kinda explains why angels would be put in so much work (do drastic choices) if God isn't there to guide them and solve things for them or just get involved but I also love the concept of him not giving a f*ck shjsiahdwiwbs after Lucifer's fall/betrayal he was just left hopeless for anything; his most "perfect creation" (Adam) corrupted by evil and then his most "perfect angel" turned out to have been the one to bring said corruption. (he may still care for Michael and Jesus tho but like it's hard for him to care about the rest) and letting all his children figure it out themselves (poor Sera), like, I can picture him just as depressed like Lucifer in the show issisofksos but unlike him who copes with making ducks, God just lays in the couch mopping about how disappointed in humanity he is and how "perfect" everything was before he planted the damn apple on earth, while he bosses Michael and maybe Metatron too (tho with him he's a lot more harsher bc he was previously human and he's kinda just bitter about them in general, but he's proven his worth enough) around to bring him shit like ice cream or junk food (tho he could easily just summoned all those things he subconsciously just wants company and Michael is there to bring it to him the only angel that has not yet disappointed/maintain loyal to him). So yeah.

Anyways — I still like the concept of God actually being dead. Like when you say Michael has a halo do you meant like he holds on to God's halo? Cause that's kinda cool af, imagine him just holding on to the halo of God (maybe even pitifully hopeful their father would return 'saving it for him') so he just has the halo on him and everyone just "oh shit this motherfucker really could just end it all if he wanted to" but Michael just doesn't cause 'with great power holds big responsibility' type of mentality and I think it'd be funny if Lucifer confronts heaven and is in a determined search for Michael to provoke him and remind him he's still the most perfect of all God's creation (mosty just salty as hell bc Michael cast him to hell lmao) and then when he finds Michael he like comes up with a taunting comment about how bad heaven turned out to be Yada Yada that neither realm is perfect or better than the other, and BAM suddenly his eyes drifted to Michael's head and recognizes the halo.

"Is that—...!"

"Yeah," Michael simply states defeated in his chair, unfazed by his brother arrival, from all the chaos going on, his people being murder, just, done, "father's gone, Lucifer."

So they just stare at eochother in silence, Lucifer with a stunned almost hurt expression and Michael with a nonchalant one. After the realization hitting him like a truck Lucifer realizes there was no end to the chaos released to all realms after Charlie unintentionally brought it to them if God wasn't there to fix it all...

Fear overwhelming him now cause he was kinda chilled out about the whole thing knowingly God would have to intervene soon because heaven was also being attacked by evil- but now realizing he's dead, it like hits him hard, mostly worried for his daughter's fate more than anything else.

Then, another thing hits him, "wait! What aren't you doing anything?! You can fix this, Michael! You have father's power, we can-"

Michael lifts his hand to signal him to stop, "I'm not planning to do anything."

"WHAT?!! Do you realize your people are also being attacked!"

"Your daughter brought this among ourselves, now, she must find her way to solve it."

"But she won't be-"

"Silence. If she was able to bring it to us then she's more than capable of putting it back. If not, that's no longer my problem"

"YOU-!"

"No, Lucifer," he stands up, the power of God emitting through his aura, the millions of eyes on him, big six graceful wings extended to show their full on glory, eyes bright like the intensity of a star. His voice was much more deeper and cold, distant, detached, "I lost everything because of your silly dream of free will, and now redemption. Look at where it lead us, prove me wrong this time, if it doesn't succeed then it was meant to be that way. Accept your fate.

I would create something new, something different. Something that won't betray its kind. No longer you existing. It will be perfect."

Lucifer felt so tiny now. That was no longer the brother he once knew. Not the caring, gentle, protective fiercely warrior that he once was.

Only filled with rage, grief and pain.

Michael... is dead too.

But anyways with all that, somehow lets say both Charlie and Lucifer mange to remind Michael of his love for the countless souls left at his hands to care and protect. And I dunno maybe a song too ahdhdiqgsjahsia and what gets the cake is Michael seeing Adam alive, behind the two, who somewhat stumble across their intervention in a 'bad timing'.

"Hey bitch you forgot your tampon— oh shit! Wrong room," Adam (now sinner) appears at the door oblivious of the whole deal.

"Adam!" Charlie shouted annoyed as they were already, almost, having a heartfelt moment between her father and Michael.

Michael eyes watered, "ADAM!" He pushes past Charlie and Lucifer who are now just confused as fuck seeing how Michael (filled with new growing hope) crushes Adam in a big hug with all the intensity of his power and somehow it was till so gentle and careful that it didn't kill Adam.

And the first man just there struggling to get loose while also suffocating.

Idk I just like Michael still having to be the hero even in circumstances where he doesn't want to. So the universe just grants him a purpose for he to keep following up God's title for him. If he wasn't gonna do shit because he lost Adam? Then BAM! Sinner Adam is now a thing so keep your ass moving Michael!

Michael now wants to fix things up to keep Adam safe; his new purpose (reason) on protecting heaven, his people and the countless souls God left him in charge with.

hi! i just wanted to come on here to firstly ask a question, then praise your work!

first, my question is what’s your writing process? whenever i try to write, i always end up getting distracted because i worry so much about how i start the story. should i begin with a line of dialogue? should i start with a rhetorical question/vague backstory that leads into a character’s current situation? should i just start with action straight off the bat? i literally never know. there are some days where i get the inspiration to write all day, but i never end writing anything because i get stuck on the intro or research.

i even have a document with the first few paragraphs of multiple works that i like just to see how these wonderful pieces start. one document of mine is like one page long and it’s only filled with possible intros. LITERALLY NOTHING ELSE!! and they’re all so different from each other! yours always lead into the story so well and they’re never the same, so i applaud you!

anyways, onto your well deserved praise! you are literally the only writer on this site that i genuinely look forward to. when you released guerilla, i literally squealed and i don’t do that. maybe a giggle here and there, but never a squeal. not only do you write long stories (which i personally prefer. 20k - 50k words? AND it’s good writing?? you deserve a kiss on the head from God himself!), but quality writing, good punctuation, no overused dialogue tags, badass reader characters, and always a happy ending. you’re truly a godsend! especially because of your happy endings (and badass reader character— emphasis on badass). there’s this one seonghwa piece that’s like over 50k words, but it doesn’t have a happy ending so i haven’t read it. for me, fiction should end with the reader being happy so if i won’t be happy at the end, i don’t want to read it. but that never happens with you. i’m sure i’ve read all your pieces at least once and i can positively say that i’m always smiling like an idiot after i finish.

overall, you’re a writer that i learn from and you’re writing is absolutely awesome. keep up the good work and make sure to take care of yourself! i may not know you personally, but that doesn’t mean i can’t think you deserve all the good things in the world for creating a universe that readers can get immersed in and forget about reality for some time. all for free at that too. you deserve the world and more. so does everyone else reading this though! can’t wait for your next release! you’re awesome!!

thank you so much, glad to have another person here who likes the length of my fics (bc of you all i have been physically unable to keep my oneshots short). i'm glad my writing style appeals to you! i know my english isn't perfect but thank you for appreciating it! one thing i refuse to write is a basic reader character (not that we don't like a basic reader character once in a while-- i just always gotta add a little sth 😭) (might write a basic reader soon tho ahaha) as for the happy endings, i do have a few tragedies planned for the year but you're absolutely right-- we love our happy endings. if i have to make sth tragic, it will be ending on a bittersweet, it-had-to-be-this-way note and i hope i can write it well and i hope you read that whenever i post it too! i'd love to hear what you think of it (it's far in the future but one day i will)

to answer your question, my writing process for a long time was literally just sit and write whatever's coming to me. most of my fics have been spontaneous like that-- sudden impulse, unplanned everything, just a general idea of the roles of the main characters and a basic idea of the plot-- not even the ending. i don't like to plan the ending, actually. i like to simply plan how it begins, what the key points are, and the ending comes naturally from there.

one thing i've started doing recently is just write my thoughts in a paragraph or bulletpoints (bc i have the memory of a goldfish) but it helps if you want to prefer planning and then writing. the most important advice i can give to anyone here is to not be afraid to write. literally write whatever you want, and do not be afraid to edit. or even rewrite. cannot stress this enough. i'll give an example:

with guerrilla, i had the trope: serial killer/doctor/biker yunho and crime fiction writer reader. no background of the characters. no ending in mind. simply that they were housemates, there will be dark humour involved and yunho will gradually warm up to the reader. that was literally all i had! when i opened the doc to write, i thought about how i would want it to start-- i think with intros, you gotta write sth that gives the readers a basic idea of where they are, why they are there, who they are, etc. and then you can continue the story, so you gotta shape the intro to attract their attention with a general idea, right? now i just went with the flow, wrote whatever i wanted to, and whenever i would add some detail, i would go back and edit it in- either in the form of dialogue or some foreshadowing (we love foreshadowing). when i thought of their tragic past? went back again to edit that in. so basically just a series of writing, editing what's written, cutting what looks unnecessary now, and voila.

so how should you start your story? depends on the story. sometimes, it needs to start with action when it's an action heavy plot, right? we would like to find ourselves in a middle of a fight or sth like that to set the tone immediately. so whatever the theme of your story is, you gotta set the tone in the first part! also, don't be afraid to start from wherever you want- you can always add parts later! like my series take me home-- i literally started from the middle and when i came up with a plot twist that supported what i wrote, i went back and wrote the first half LOL and then i planned the ending from there. i think readers also prefer if you don't add unnecessary details/scenes in the beginning, yeah? fillers are for inside the story, not in the beginning or the ending.

also, don't be afraid to experiment! write what you're the most comfortable writing, don't be too hung up on research and facts-- you can literally make anything up because it's fiction. it's your world and your rules. i literally make up whole new universes to save myself from the hassle of real-life technicalities (you may have noticed how i never use real places or setting lmao). if you have an idea that you really want to write, start with there, and simply, write. let the words flow, let it go wherever your mind takes you. you'll find your hands typing by themselves! you can worry about if it's good or not later, just write! (you won't believe me but as i'm finishing writing a fic, i begin to kind of hate it. no amount of reassurances convince me that it's good enough bc i am the writer. i still post and when i receive feedback, that's when i realise it might be good! and when some time has passed and i reread it, i'm sometimes amazed- i wrote that? how will i top that? and the cycle continues 😔✌️)

As per usual, my mum and I were watching Star Trek before bed, and we got to the second season episode of TNG called “Offspring”, in which Data has a daughter, and lemme tell you I was nearly crying by the end.

The beginning is very wholesome! Most of the episode as Data teaches Lal is very wholesome! But then the ending! It crushed me!

She exceeds Data, she achieves what I understand from sci-fi films to be the ultimate goal of artificial intelligence: human emotion. She experienced fear and confusion at the prospect of being separated from her father and the only life she’s ever known, and then a neural net failure. Data works doggedly at saving her, in a scene that very much screams frantic parent beneath the cool exterior of his android behaviour, especially as told by the Admiral.

And then Lal’s last scene. She experiences love, tells her father she loves him that she thanks him for her life, and he says that he wishes he could feel it with her, she replies that she’ll feel it for both of them. Then she shuts down, her expression goes first, then sentences become single words to describe her life, finally ending on “family”. Her last thought was of family, of the father that cared for her and taught her and loved her in what ways he could, and then she was gone. Omygod I was in tears.

I’m reading Madeline Miller’s Song of Achilles, and I think the brilliant heart striking beauty of it (and of other tragic retellings, like Hadestown) is that we know what happens.

We know how this story ends, but we tell it again, we tell it and tell it in different words and different ways hoping that this time it will be different, this time it will be happy. But it never is. A tragedy hurts because we know it will, we know the living beast of it will arrive at that predetermined end no matter how we fight it. It’s an old story, but we tell it anyways.

It breaks my heart seeing young queer kids ask if they’re allowed to use the “q slur” (direct quote) if they know they aren’t straight but aren’t sure what label they fit.

I will say, the addition of the minor bit of time travel nonsense in Ghibli’s Howl’s Moving Castle is probably my favourite change to the story, just the “there you are sweetheart, I’ve been looking everywhere for you.” lives in my head rent free and it’s so good! So soft! Because this Howl really has been looking for Sophie! She told him to!

I’m glad that my wanky tags work for you :)… and yes I’m fed up too, and I tried to be a little less wanky but I’m just done with the hypocrisy in this fandom, and I can’t with myself… I use the tags now, to not make loooooooooong posts about everything because that would be a thing to remember… there are things that I cannot share and I vent with some friends through messages for the more serious ones, and for the rest I use the tags a lot lately…

If them2 would do their thing, pandering to the haters as usual without mentioning Misha (although the trashing of their wives also bothers me, but it’s their life), I would be a very happy person because I wouldn’t hear about them, or see them (people send me videos or posts sometimes) and I could just forget that they exist while enjoying my fave and his awesomeness. But alas, cannot be. They have to trash Misha all the fucking time everywhere, and I’m not going to stay shut because fandom police doesn’t like it and treat them like gods that can’t be touched… I got into fandom because of Cas and Misha, and I stayed for them and for some of the amazing people I have met, but I’m not into cults, they are humans, not golden idols, so the “shhhh we should not talk about it” doesn’t work for me.

Besides if Misha ever does or says, half of the shit they say, the wank would be heard around the world…. As it is the man is trying to make the world a better place and gets hate like you have no idea (I SO want to make a post of some wankers out there with double face). But them2 make a joke about the border: “no big deal! It was a joke! You people have no humor smh!” Say that Misha only wants attention for winning a pca, when in fact he is trying to change things: “oh my god! they love each other can’t you see?” It was a joke!”…. I wonder what is the limit for them2 “jokes” that the fandom has… because it seems to be non-existent… 

Even if some people get mad about it, the next day they are posting cockles and theories about how they are all in a relationship that includes their wives… meanwhile jonson keeps trashing Misha but it’s because he looooooooooves him… lmao! Sure! Heart eyes motherfucker right? While he panders to the haters and takes pics with K… yeah, such a great relationship there!!

chan stands there, staring at your door, his hand tightly wrapped around your doorknob 

after a couple of seconds of battling with his self

and noticing that he hasn’t heard your door lock 

he finally found the balls to swing it wide open 

“ouch, fuck!” you screamed, getting flung across the ground

“y/n!!” chan exclaims,, worry evident in his voice 

“what the hell chan?!?!”

“are you okay?”

“no,” you say defeated, trying to push the tears away that were begging to escape 

you just got your heart shattered

and now you’re pretty sure you fractured a bone 

“can you take me to the nurse?” 

and thats all you had to say before chan picks you up gently, his heart aching every time you let out a silent wince 

and just like the first time you guys find yourself in the same hospital nearby 

where everything started 

its almost laughable, the way life seems to be playing tricks on you

and you were the star of its show 

the injury was nothing too serious except for the fact that your back was bruised pretty badly, no fractured or broken bones though to your luck

but the doctor required you to stay the night anyways just to be sure 

“hey,” chan says stepping into your room 

“hi,” you reply, avoiding eye contact as much as you can 

“why were you standing behind the door?”

you quietly chuckle before saying, “saw it in a movie once, wanted to try it out,”

THE PLOT IS GETTING SOMEWHERE AND WE KNOW IT.

what better way to critique an immensely probelmatic giant industry feeding off of our insane fetishes than to actually create a BL series designed to let us reflect on our own prejudices? my mind is kind of blown HAHAHAH but no seriously, i cannot believe it took us this long. lovely writer is also a sign of things getting better, of the nuances being spotted and contested.

all the things that would make us cringe—for instance, talking about rape-y tendencies, homonormativity, objectification, engineers (OMG IM KIDDING ON THIS LAST PART I'M SORRY MY ENGINEER)—in a usual BL series are portrayed here, but we know it's satirical, in order to frankly shed light on these issues. that means that every line is well thought out. every relevant line must be taken with a grain of salt. every viewer must be mindful of what they have been doing as well; it is now our duty to change ourselves, to change the entire community.

the plot will be a huge lesson for all its viewers. confronting the reality that we have played a huge role in the deterioration of how queer stories are told is a huge, huge step—and lovely writer will help us break the ice.

I LOVE FOLLOWING GENE'S JOURNEY.

see, i'm not going to lie: i went into the show for the good vibes, the love, the cute moments. but i did not expect to actually root for Gene as an individual, and no just part of a couple I'd ship for all kinds of reasons. within him something is brewing, and i really hope he gets to fight for what he truly wants. the show set this up in the first episode quite well, and here's to hoping they can sustain it. speaking of,

Hi, thanks for the support! I really appreciate the people who feel happy or inspired with my comic. I’m here for the people who wanted more out of the movie! 

It’s alright, this is the SU fandom. Legit everything I post has some sort of controversy over it. But I can understand where some people are coming from. Some people prefer Pink stays gone, some people prefer to see Pink as the true villain, and some want to blame all of Spinel’s actions on Pink. They’re all personal interpretations, just like mine. ANd I’m gonna heavily disagree with them, but i’m not gonna attack them for having their own opinions. 

I think it’s okay for people to think otherwise about my comic. I made it for the people who were disappointed with the movie. As stated before, I made this comic because of the rejuvenator. As soon as that was introduced, I knew immediately it would be used to revert Steven’s gem into Pink Diamond. I was like “Omygod are they actually doing this? The “She’s Gone” statement just got reversed with the reveal of this weapon!” I was so excited. 

I thought Spinel was gonna use it to revert Steven’s gem so she could confront Pink directly. Not take out her anger on her son and everyone else. If that was her true intention, her actions would have been 100% more validated and I would have sided with Spinel supporters. 

But she didn’t. She used it to reset all of Steven’s friends, which lead into this amnesia arc being 60% of the movie. Which is the root of the pacing problem everyone has been irritated with.  It was interesting to see all the gems relive their lives in a different light, but.... I felt like it wasted a lot of time.  

Sapphire is the one to save Ruby this time. Pearl is actually serving Greg, someone she held a grudge against for so long. And We finally get to see how little Amethyst acted, plus we see original pure Spinel. But aside from Spinel, we’ve already been through all this. Do we really have to re-witness the gems go through their character development that’s been going on for years just altered and crammed into the hyped-up movie? 

This plotline just felt like a filler Steven Bomb. Not movie material. The only new thing we got out of this was Steg’s fusion. (Which shouldn’t have been possible in my interpretation, because Steven is no longer fused with his gem. Pink is in control, not Pink Steven.) 

The whole time Steven is upset, running around town with his friends trying to bring back their memories, Spinel is just there. She’s being annoying. The third wheel. She’s completely ignoring the problems at hand and trying to distract Steven so he won’t be sad anymore because that is her job as a gem. The worst part of this is that SHE is the cause of all these problems. And Steven has to go around fixing it by himself while she just annoys him.  it’s not what friendship truly is. It’s why Pink got annoyed with her. Because she just... doesn’t know how to grow up. She doesn’t know how to change, and she doesn’t want to. Her best friend had to leave her and literally “die” / disappear for her to change. 

Seeing how insensitive Spinel is to other people’s sadness, or her inability to cheer them up without completely ignoring the problem at hand is the root reason why I didn’t like her original form as a character. From the very beginning, Spinel was always selfish, which is what lead her down the path of destruction later on. 

But look at who she changed into. Omygod villain Spinel? She somehow gets her hands on a massive poisonous gem drill and the most ancient deadly weapon of gem society. How, and where? Omygod. THis was amazing. She had a plan. She was gonna kill the Earth, revert Pink’s friend’s so they wouldn’t remember her anymore, maybe kill her son to make her suffer, and finally, revert her gem so she is in control and can reform, so she can witness all of it. This right here is an evil genius. I was THRIVING for this character. I wanted to see what more she could do. 

She absolutely DESTROYED the crystal gems. How could she fight so well? She was running circles around them and they couldn’t keep up. I’m so desperate for SU villains because there aren’t anymore. Steven keeps befriending them and it’s pissing me off!!!! DON’T!! TAKE!! MY !! VILLAINS!! STEVEN!!  Where’s that Aquamarine that didn’t fall for his speeches? Bring her back into the picture. 

Like hey, I do want the characters to find happiness in the end. I love redemption arcs. But this is too predictable now. It’s getting boring. And it’s getting kinda hectic because some characters are being redeemed when they should have been shattered. (*cough* White Diamond *Cough*...) 

I love villain characters because there’s so much more to them. They’re a whole new mystery to unravel, a new cause of problems for the protagonist, the plot device, the MAIN ELEMENT THAT DRIVES A STORY! Without a conflict, what even is a story anymore? It’s done. It’s ended. And there are rumors going around Steven Universe still has another season. But for me, the diamonds were really the icing on the cake. 

You can’t top a towering all-powerful big-brother-surveillance gem that can literally take away your free will and control you like a puppet. You can’t top that. 

So ever since hearing Change Your Mind wouldn’t be the last SU episode, I knew it was downhill from here. Unless Rebecca can surprise me somehow? Idk. I still love Steven Universe. I’m sticking around to the very end, and I respect Rebecca and her choices.

• Date him

• Is so daMn caring

• Gentle as fuck with you

• Snickers and laughs a little when you get hit in the face with the ball (“lol y/n you remind me of a certain teammate" *tsukki laughing*)

• He’s the type of guy- I mean teacher that’s comfortable to be with

• That’s it. That’s just it. He’s a amazing teacher. His instructions are so clear that the rest of the team are amazed as hell

• Shows off a lot and spikes in his top form to make himself cool (his teammates glaring at him lol)

• “hey y/n. Maybe you should come to our matches do bokuto would be in his top form more often! Or at least lower his chances of dejecting again" says every Fukurodani player

• You’re his motivation to do his best and you’re actually amazed bc who doesn’t except his own team

• Actually whenever you watch his team play he gets motivated al0t and shows off al0t, but the fact that you added with some “tEacH mE h0w t0 plAY”, he’s top form will just increase and he’ll show off more

• Although the way he teaches is kinda sloppy, cute tho (like how he describes his moves lol) so Akaashi has to translate his Owl language to human language.
