The First Snow
Tumblr media
Pairing: Shotaro x reader
Genre: Fluff, Winter special
Warning: not edited, reader calls Shotaro: Sho, lots of cuteness, can possibly read as christmas but nothing specific
Synopsis: While relaxing and enjoying the day with your boyfriend, Shotaro, it begins to snows. Seeing your fascination about it, Shotaro takes you out to play in it
Note: It's funny that this is so different from the derived title. Also I know it's the holidays but please don't forget about those who need us. Let's keep Palestinian and countries like them in our minds and hearts ❣️
── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ─── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ─── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ──
"Wake up sleepy" you heard your boyfriend saying as he lightly shook you. He laughed as you grumbled out a few words before turning your back to him. "I made breakfast~" he said with a smile as he ran his fingers on your back, knowing that it gave you shivers.
Groaning as you sat up, you sleepily rubbed your eyes before turning to look at your partner. "Can we eat in the bed?" you asked him just as a big yawn escaped you. Shotaro giggled before nodding and giving you a kiss. "I haven't brushed my teeth" you whined but he just continued to laugh. Shotaro returned with a tray that had his coffee, your hot chocolate, pancakes, and fruit. The two of you enjoyed the quiet winter morning and each others company.
"Movies on the couch?" he questioned as the two of you got out of the bed. Shotaro was going to change while you cleaned up the dishes.
"Yes, I'll bring one up" you told him with a nod. ~
"So what movie are we starting with?" Shotaro asked as he came out of the bedroom. To his surprise, the tv was still off and the couch didn't have a blanket spread out. "Babe?" he asked as he came over to you in the kitchen.
"Yeah?"
"You okay?"
"Yep. Look, Sho, it's snowing" you told your boyfriend in awe. He could see your eyes twinkling as you continued to watch the snow flurries drift through the air. Shotaro just hummed with a smile on his face. While you were watching the snow fall, Shotaro was watching you. He took your hand, leading you away from the window.
"Right, movies. What do you feel like?" you asked as you came back from your daydream like state at his touch. Shotaro didn't say anything, continuing to guide you away. Thought you grew confused when he brought you to the bedroom instead of the couch. "What are you doing?" you questioned as you watch him look around inside of the closet.
"I'm looking for our winter clothes. Our coats should be at the door but we'll need scarfs and gloves too" Shotaro responded with a smile on his face. "Found them!" he exclaimed while you still sat confused. Shotaro wrapped one scarfs around you before putting the other on his self. Taking your hand again, this time he brought to the front door.
"Where are we going Sho?"
"Outside".
"For?"
"To play in the snow, of course". Your boyfriend turned to you, fully decked out in winter clothing. You smiled towards him before giving him a peck. With your hands intertwined, Shotaro led you up to the roof top. The two of you arrived and watch as the snow gently fall around your area. You held out your free gloved hand and stared as the snow disappeared within the cotton. A force against your jacket shifted your focus to your boyfriend giggling with a smile on his face. He stood a slight distance away with a snow ball in his hand.
"I'll get you back for that!" You told him as you rolled up a snow ball. Then you began to chase after your boyfriend to act out your revenge.
The two of you ran around, throwing snow balls at the other with no care. Your laughter causing for you to out of breath even more. But the neither of you bothered to care. It was just the two of you's little world. You let out a light scream as Shotaro engulfed you in a hug.
"I got you" he said, still panting from all the activity. "Now, time to go back inside before we get sick" Shotaro continued as he guided you towards the roof top door. You let out a whine at his words and actions. You still wanted to continue playing in the snow but you also knew he was right.
"Can we have hot chocolate?" you asked with a pout on your lips. Shotaro laughed and pressed a kiss on your lips.
"Of course, silly. You don't need to pout for it; just ask and I'll be happy to make it"
"Thank you baby" you said, giving him a kiss of your own.

what dreams must feel like

Tumblr media
You wake up with a quiet gasp, near silent in the quiet of the night.
It takes you a few moments to reorient yourself into the waking world — to feel the sheets on the bed beneath you, to see the moonlit outline of the dresser under the window, to feel the solid line of heat behind you.
Your next exhale shudders out of you, latent fear catching on the inside of your ribs, and you take a few moments just to breathe.
Most of the time, you don’t remember your dreams. You might wake up with a lingering feeling or the barest remnants of a scene playing against the back of your eyelids before disappearing with a blink, but most of the time you wake up with nothing.
You wish you always woke up with nothing. Because the few times you do remember...
It’s never dreams that you remember, but nightmares.
This one had been especially bad, and the thought of closing your eyes again sends an involuntary shiver down your spine. So you slowly get out of bed, careful not to disturb the sleeping giant behind you, and tiptoe your way to the kitchen.
You don’t want to think right now — to remember — so you dedicate all of your concentration to making yourself a cup of hot chocolate from scratch.
Exaggeratedly slow, you silently take a small saucepan out of the cupboard and set it delicately on the burner. Then you collect the ingredients you’re going to need: milk, cocoa powder, sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Step one: pour the milk into the pan, start the burner, and wait for the milk to heat up.
And wait.
It takes about thirty seconds for you to realize the fault in your plan. Waiting means there’s room to think, and having room to think means memories of the nightmare fighting to be acknowledged.
You don’t realize how far you’ve sunken into your own internal battle until there’s suddenly a hand on your shoulder and you’re startling so hard you nearly knock the pot off of the stove.
“Shit, sorry, didn’t mean to scare you.”
It’s Mingyu, sleep-rumpled and confused as he takes in the scene in front of him. The comforter from your bed is draped over his bare shoulders like a cape and his hair is sticking out in at least three different directions. There’s a crease across his cheek from where it’d been smushed into the pillow and the little furrow in his brow tugs at something in your chest — something that would normally have you reaching out with gentle fingers to smooth it away.
But everything inside you still feels tense and tangled — your heart a cornered animal — and you don’t know how you’re supposed to act anymore. All you know is you don’t want to think — don’t want to remember the horrible images your brain came up with — blood, blood, so much blood, you can’t stop it—
“Hey, breathe for me.”
You’re not sure when Mingyu got so close or when your breathing started getting too fast and choppy, but that doesn't matter. All you need to do is focus on him — on his hands gently cupping your shoulders, his head ducked down so he can be eye-level with you.
“There we go, let’s keep breathing, okay?”
He breathes with you, never taking his concerned eyes off of your face, hands sliding slowly from your shoulders to your elbows and back — a tender metronome.
It only takes a few moments for you to get your breathing back to a steady inhale, exhale — but even that is enough to completely drain you.
Exhausted, you let yourself fall into him, and he moves his arms so one is wrapped around your back and the other is cradling your head to his chest.
“I’m here, baby,” he murmurs. “I’m here, it’s okay.”
And, surprisingly, it is. In the circle of his embrace, under the fluorescent kitchen lights at who-knows-what o'clock in the morning— it’s okay.
You can still feel yourself trembling, and flashes of the nightmare are still fighting for dominance at the back of your mind, but Mingyu is here. Mingyu is here, holding you, safe and sound and warm and whole — and your heart knows it’s going to be okay.
He hums when you bring your arms around him and squeeze, like you're trying to pull your body into his, and he holds you just as tight. Careful of the blanket pooled at your feet, he starts to gently sway the both of you back and forth. His hums melt into gentle singing, the notes honey-warm where you can feel them reverberating in his chest, and you think that this is what dreams must feel like.
Soft, warm — suspended in the heart of a moment. Comfort like bottled sunshine.
You sigh, pressing your cheek tighter against his chest (his heart). He doesn't stop his quiet singing, but from the way he holds you tighter for just a moment, you know that he heard everything you didn't say.
Thank you for holding me. Thank you for loving me. Thank you for making me feel safe. Thank you. I love you, I love you, I love you.
The beginnings of your hot chocolate sit abandoned on the stove, and exhaustion weighs heavy in your bones, but you think that you could stay like this forever — two slow dancers, last ones out.
And you know that later, when sleep comes to claim you once more, it will be okay. You will go willingly, and you will wake up in the morning, and your home will be lying next to you under the covers, and the nightmare will be nothing but a distant memory.

Attack On Titan: A Former Queen, A Former Soldier
Chapter 1 of 5
The warm and bright sunlight came in through the window and hit her right in the face as she could feel its relaxing warmth on the left side.
She didn't mind as she needed to go out today and made sure to get plenty of rest as possible, her gorgeous blonde hair was just as bright as the sun on it. Her eyes, which had woken, were large and the most loveliest, stunning, beautiful color of blue.
Already she knew that if she was back in the Survey Corps and any of her fellow cadets had seen her wake up, they'd say that she looked like a Goddess. The thought of it was enough to give her a cute chuckle.
The "Goddess" got herself up, picked her nose, flung a rather big booger and took a deep breath in-and-out.
Historia Reiss was ready to start the day.
She changed from her thin, green feety pajamas that had a pink elephant on the front which she found adorable to her recently casual outfit that she's been wearing for a while now, or to be more specific the past few months - a long sleeve beige shirt with a small light red shawl and gray sweats with gray buckle shoes.
Her room was relatively small but she didn't mind it either, she had just enough space. When she was queen, her bedroom was exactly of that - of a queen.
It was enormous, it was pitch white, it was glimmering once the light hit in the morning.
That wasn't the case here. However Historia would beg to differ, it gave her a cozy and comfortable vibe that she's never felt before whether it'd be the Farm or the Training Corps.
Historia did though take a good long look at her ass in the mirror, it had gotten much larger these past few months and she was loving it. She shook it a little with a smirk on her face, licked her finger, touched it and made a sizzle noise then left her room.
Before she went out into the town, Historia made sure to do one thing once she exited and quietly closed her bedroom door.
A little down the hallway on the other side of it was another room with the door open half-way. Historia tiptoed to it and just as she was about to make it, her right foot made a creak in the floor to which she made one of her embarrassed gritting teeth faces. It then turned into an immediate giggle from her.
She looked into the room and saw that her daughter was still sleeping, Ymir was cuddled up with her favorite blankets and her stuffed rabbit that she held close to her. It was enough to put a gentle smile on her mother's face, she walked in and went over to her sweetie's bed.
"Ymir..." whispered Historia softly "...Ymir... Ymir". This as she stroked her daughter's hair and cheek, the three year old started to giggle like any three year old would as she snuggled with her rabbit more.
Historia loved seeing her precious child, her little angel, laugh no matter what. She was such an innocence in this world that her mother would protect her at all cost and do anything for her.
"Come on now, sweetie. Mommy has to go out today and I can't let you oversleep. I --"
As her mother was whispering playfully, Ymir turned over and instantly went "No!".
Historia put her other hand on her hip as she was amused now by this and her smile became more playful than it was before.
"I can't let you sleep in every - "
"No!"
"Oh sweetie - "
"I don't wanna!"
"We'll have ice cream after supper".
"........."
"We'll have your favorite".
"Chocolate?"
"Chocolate".
The next thing Historia knew, her little angel had lept up from her bed, went "Okay" excitedly and was about to run downstairs but her mother caught her in time and said "Slow down, sweetie".
Once downstairs, Historia put her child down on the couch and wrapped her with a blanket as if she was warming up in front of a fireplace.
"Ymir listen carefully, I have to do some very important work and I won't be back til sundown around dinnertime. Don't open the door for anyone except me, don't go outside without me, there's an apple on the table in front of you for breakfast, leftovers from yesterday are in the fridge for you for lunch and please be careful. The last time I had to leave you home alone you ended up scraping both your knees..... and that was only last week".
Historia gave her a soft kiss as Ymir looked down at her nubby knees that were healing for a week. Their living room was not really a living room, rather a small confined bookshop that's been made into a home. Ymir was on the brown, worn out couch in the center of the shop that was there when they first arrived, it probably was for any customer who wanted to sit and read like in one of those coffee shops that Historia had seen.
As she walked away, Ymir just sat there like a puppy about to wait for their owner to come back and went "Mommy?"
"Yes, Ymir".
"Your butt is big" chuckled Ymir.
Historia shot her daughter yet another playful smile, "I know, sweetheart" grinned Historia.
Tumblr media
There was a cool wind that blew across her face and hair the second she stepped out, closed the door behind her and locked it.
She took one final peek inside through the store window to see her daughter, Historia could see Ymir was starting to build a fort with the couch cushions.
Walking down the stone streets and adjusting her sweats, Historia was reminded yet again of the shabby and scruffy, very grungy place that she lived in now with her lovely angel.
Welcome to Argonaut Bay.
It was a really peculiar place even though it was right by the magnificent ocean, all the houses were a strange mish-mash of numerous different types of terraced housing. Almost every house, shop, store, bars, restaurants and more, while connected, all had their own distinct looks and architecture to them. To say it's not hard to figure out which place is which would be a bit of an understatement.
Historia has been living here for a year now and she already knows how to get around. To say it also wasn't a small and quiet town would be an understatement as well.
It was a large and steep town by the sea with plenty of odd, eccentric, unique and outsider people.
The edge of the town looked like it was bordering on sinking into the sea if it wasn't for the steady docks.
And the more than rowdy kids were already out on the streets, riding their own customized bikes or playing jacks.
Just from the distance, Historia could see the dock was busy bringing in new freshly caught fish by the minute. She could tell with where she was supposed to go that it would be her last stop for the day.
Normally the town was a greyer, cloudier, wetter place where it rains about as much as it rains in Portland, Oregon - at least that's what Historia's been told - but now it was summertime. School's out for three to four months so the kids of all kinds are allowed to run wild as long as they make it back home for dinner in time.
The best thing for Historia about this place is that for once, no one said "Marleyian", no one said "Eldian", no one said "Devil". Closest is whenever anyone made fun of Marley or Eldia, granted Historia would be lying if she said it didn't lead to some incredibly awkward and uncomfortable moments.
Even in this new world, everyone knew full well of the Marley/Eldia War especially the Rumbling led by the now notorious Eren Yeager who like every other Marley or Eldia leader has gone down with the likes of Adolf Hitler, Osama Bin Laden, Saddam Hussein and more.
Many U.S. soldiers who infiltrated both sides have described it as "hell on earth", even going as far as to say Iraq and Afghanistan looked sane in comparison.
Now deep down on what appears to be a day-to-day basis, Historia's new greatest fear in her life is them discovering her true identity. At this point she could only imagine what they would do to her and what would become of her daughter. Not being there in her daughter's life like her mother, whose throat was slit right in front of her stunned thirteen year old eyes, was Historia's worst nightmare more than any torture in the world. She knew that unlike Marley, they wouldn't hurt a child but she also knew she wouldn't be lucky in the slightest.
So far, Historia's been on a straight path that she hoped and prayed to keep up. There have been multiple reports that several Marley and Eldia citizens have been sneaking in to the United States to start whole new lives away from the horrors of their war. They've now become the newest "illegal aliens" with the U.S. Government scrambling to control the escalating tension as any Marleyian or Eldian was in-hiding under new identities. One person that she's been told they're still searching for is none other than Historia Reiss, the Queen of the Walls who had abandoned her position and taken off.
Of course she wouldn't know much about a name like "Historia", her name was Christa.
Christa Lenz.
She had only been there a year as previously mentioned but she was already well known around here for her striking and gorgeous look and figure. Plenty of the boys had an immediate crush the minute they laid eyes on her.
That said, her amazingly beautiful look and kind, soft personality was not enough to work on the tax collector, her landlord and a certain person working down at the docks. Her three stops would be quite difficult for her however she has been through far worse from childhood onwards.
Historia stopped dead in her tracks once a bright red cadillac came zooming past her, she could tell then and there that it was twelve year old Jacob Matthews stealing and driving cars yet again. The kid had short, styled up brown hair, always wore a shirt with the Batman logo on it and was now wearing a four layer bandana mask as if he was in a street gang. She could tell it was him as he sped on by before she could even blink because he had done this too many times to count and went "Out of the way, woman!" in his usual rude tone.
His friends came running forward, some of them bumping into her as they said sorry while doing it. Historia very swiftly grabbed one of them before they could get away and said "Stop right there!", it was none other than Bradley or as the other kids called him "Goose" for no particular reason.
"Hey Ms. Reiss. Top of the afternoon to ya". he said with a mock british voice on the latter part.
"What's going on" Historia said sternly with the back of her hand on her hip.
"What's it look like, Jake's taking Mr. Marsh's new ride for a spin. I think he's gonna try to use it to pick up girls down at Joe's and I'm betting five bucks that he won't get one even if his life depended on it".
"So you're basically telling me learned nothing from what happened last time."
"Can't keep him down, he's all better now."
"He had two of his fingers broken!"
"Hey don't tell me that, you tell him that" Bradley said as he looked down the direction his group went.
Historia let out a sigh, she really couldn't help seeing kids cause trouble which would then get THEM into trouble. She loved all children and when she heard that Jacob got two of his fingers broken by the owner of a car he stole, it made her stomach sick. No matter what she could never bring herself to hurt a child. Just the thought of it was enough to make her nauseous.
"Look, Bradley - "
"It's Goose."
She rolled her eyes.
"Look, .... Goose. I've met Mr. Marsh a few times and I know he won't laugh about this or laugh it off".
"Of course, the guy's a stupid prick. No sense of humor at all. He once tried going up our alley and threatened to run our bikes over if we didn't let his pansy ass through".
"Goose, you have to take this seriously. He's been at this long enough and I'm tired of it now, he nearly ran me over seven times before and it just changed to eight. I'm afraid that I'm gonna have to talk to his parents".
"You wouldn't!" he said, his pre-teen body loosened up.
"Yes I would!"
Goose stayed quiet and still in thought "Okay look, if he gets in deep shi- trouble, if he gets in trouble one more time they'll ship him off to military school for the rest of the summer. Please give him just this once a pass, I'll try and talk to him about it. Give the carjacking a break for a while -"
"Not a while, he has to stop it or else I'm going over to his house and -"
"Okay, okay! I promise I'll have him agree not to do it ever again, he'll be pretty pissed but I'll - I'll try. Just please don't tell his mom and dad".
Historia let out yet another sigh, now she was quiet and still in thought like he was. She bit her lower lip which showed she was torn and this didn't calm Goose down a bit, his whole summer would be ruined if one of his best friends wasn't there with him.
"........... Ugh, fine".
"Oh geez, thank you. Thank you, thank you. I promise I will talk to him about it, Ms. Reiss, I mean it". Goose said, breathing heavily. His heart stopped pounding rapidly and went back to normal.
"That's good. You'd be doing the right thing, Goose. I know you're a good kid, you just don't always make the right decisions. Now run along". Historia said in an almost motherly figure - she couldn't help it - and let go of his arm. He ran off down to Joe's, the local hangout for all the kids and teens in town.
"And don't call me 'Reiss'!". she yelled as Goose was running "I don't look nothing like her, I keep telling you kids that!" the latter she chuckled at when saying.
A few of the kids around here have called her "Ms. Reiss" on many occasions because they noticed she looked a lot like Queen Historia Reiss, the disappeared Eldian ruler of the Walls. Oh, if only they knew.
Some adults also noticed the "similarity" to which she always responded "I get that a lot" in the most casual and non-suspicious way possible for she had gotten use to living under the name "Christa" back when she was in the Training Corps and was a scout.
~ Argos & Associates ~
The place was not hard to miss, it being in a large town by the sea is one thing but it would be impossible to not find it when there's an inflatable Empire State Building and an inflatable Statue Of Liberty on top of the building, one towards the left and one towards the right. Pretty much everyone thought they were just silly and Historia was no exception.
She entered the building or rather the waiting room and saw clear as day she wasn't the only one there, it was crowded. Plenty of very distinct and odd individuals, some of whom Historia had seen around town, were in there looking to pay either their bills or taxes. Most were sitting, some were standing as all the chairs were taken.
Just then, a certain face came out of his office with a paying client who was a thin, lanky guy with a shaved head and a tattoo on the side of his face. His face reminded Historia of a rat.
"- next time, don't pay someone with cash that has blood on it for christ's sake" he whispered as softly as he could to his odd client.
His eyes laid on the money he had in his hand and was counting, this was David Greene. Part sleazeball, part legitimate businessman. He loved cold hard cash more than anything but he more than made up for it with his charisma, quick talk and knowledge of the law.
Historia couldn't stand him but had no choice but to deal with him today. Greene on the upside saw her as a beauty in the wrong place, he never let her looks get in the way of not paying on time since according to him anyone who lets someone walk over them for any reason including their looks is a sucker waiting to get conned out of his hard earned money, however Greene was always fair with her and that's more than she can say for anybody else he dealt with. From Greene's perspective, he was fair with the right people who he thought deserved it.
Suddenly the moment he looked up, he saw Historia or "Christa" standing right there by the entrance and his eyes lit up.
"Ms. Lenz" he said as he approached her without noticing he was making Historia uncomfortable just by his slimy-like presence "So glad you could finally make it. I was notified by Amanda at the desk this morning that you called in and made an appointment".
He looked around and saw the people waiting just to see him "Very smart decision. You can afford to call in which is quite rare from you".
"... Uh... yes. I'm here to pay what's been overdue the past months".
"Another smart decision, m'lady. If you hadn't showed up, you would've had a third strike and I'd have to show up with two officers at your door".
There was an awkward silence that Historia didn't know how to react to, he always had a dark sense of humor that he was able to mask through his charismatic talk.
"... Well thank you for not doing that".
"Always looking on the bright side, right this way. There's my office, you've been here plenty of times yet I still like to be a gentlemen when I can".
As he escorted her to his office, she could feel she was getting dirty looks from everyone else who was there that had been waiting and waiting probably since that very morning. Of course it made her uncomfortable, this was David Greene's building and it wasn't the type of place you'd want to be in.
Greene's office was a bit bigger than the waiting room but it had way more of a personality to it. His desk was riddled with papers of many kinds with a toy dinosaur towards the edge and an empty cup of coffee by the center of it. On the wall behind it, there was the Declaration of Independence written all over it with the "We The People" in big cursive letters front and center. With the two other sides of the wall, there were paintings of wildlife, moments in American history and nude women.
There were only two chairs in there and the sturdy one facing directly at Greene's desk was where Historia sat. She had to admit it did feel good on her ass-cheeks but don't let her tell that to anyone else.
"Now then, Ms. Lenz. Let's get right to business as we normally do here" Greene said as he put his feet up on his desk and sat back in his chair like he was relaxing "You weren't able to make any due the last two times we saw each other, now you're here again and apparently you have all the money. Mind if I ask what happened, what changed, what turned your I guess luck around".
Historia straightened herself up a bit more in her seat and began explaining what's been going down for her lately "The truth of the matter with all of this is that I was struggling for a while. I've been trying to meet dead ends on time but things usually don't go exactly as planned. I've done much different jobs around town that ultimately pay very little and when they do pay well, it's still not enough to make end's meet."
"Mind if I ask what type of jobs. I'm curious, that's all".
"At first, I had to work as a dishwasher at Joe's. The hair-net made me feel rather silly" Historia gave a gentle chuckle "Then I worked cleaning bodies at the hospital morgue. It was not a pleasant experience. I worked as a maid at one of the motels, I did the beds, picked up any messes made and I even scrubbed the toilets. I then worked on the docks helping catch fish... I had to quit because it made me severely seasick after a while. All of this led me back to the hospital where I now work as a nurse during night shifts. I've been saving every dime I've made on every job. Working at the hospital recently has been doing great for me and I think that may now be my permanent job".
".... I admit, things make more sense now than they did before. If I were you, I would stay as a nurse. Saving lives is one thing, being able to keep the electricity on is another".
"It's been a rough couple of months, thankfully things are starting to turn around".
"You have a daughter, right?"
"Yes. She's four".
"Why ain't that a delight. Have you been able to put any food on the table?"
"Nowadays my daughter doesn't go hungry".
David got up from his seat and made his way to her "As much as I do love hearing stories about facing hardships and living through it, I must ask now Ms. Lenz.... where may be your payment for this month. We both know taxes don't pay themselves. If they did, you wouldn't be here and I wouldn't have a job".
He held his hand out as if he was waiting to be handed candy "I think it's best we finally get this over with".
Historia opened her purse up and pulled out a large roll of cash which put a smile on Greene's face right then and there as his eyes laid on it. He took it from her hand and put it right into his left pocket.
"Now then, off you go. Don't mean to be rude, I just have others out there anxiously waiting for me". Greene said as he gave a smug and sly wink at her.
Historia wasn't shocked, offended or insulted at all. She had come to expect this from him and it thankfully meant that she could leave his rather sleazy place of affairs.
"And remember, no more chances. On time, on the day or else".
She said nothing as she immediately walked right out into the bright sunlight and took a deep breath once she got out, feeling the breeze made her relax and almost forget having to deal with that slimeball.
~ Santiagos ~
One down, two to go for Historia.
Her next stop was not that far, Santiagos was one of the bay's most popular bars. You wouldn't know that from looking on the outside, like the rest of the town it appeared to have some grime to it. Yet for most, it's grunginess is part of its charm so what's to complain about unless you hate drinking.
Historia walked right in through the front and once inside, anyone could see why this was one of the best go-to places. It was large, was filled with tables, games, quality modern tech and flat-screen TVs above all of which were playing ESPN. It was more of a welcoming environment than Argos & Associates ever was or ever will be and it was a bar for god's sakes.
Lots of people were already there, drinking, watching the game, throwing darts, playing skee hockey, pool, air hockey and old school 80s arcades such as Pac-Man or Frogger.
Her eyes though were set at the bar for lying there face-down having gotten drunk the night prior was her landlord, Samuel Papenbrook. He had always been a loyal customer and patron to the bar but the major downside to that was he was a heavy drinker. Even when Historia met him for the first time, she could smell the liquor on his breath although he tried to hide it from her. Somehow he was way less over the top and obnoxious as Marleyians and Eldians were when they got their asses drunk. I guess the rest of the world handled liquor better she thought.
As she walked towards him and reached her hand out to wake him up, a voice stopped her "Don't bother. He's out cold, not even a splash of water on his face could wake his stupid ass up". It was Louis Santiago, the owner and head bartender of the place. A charming cuban who for some reason stayed in a place like Argonauts Bay.
"You can leave your rent money next to him, he'll know it's from you. You're his only tenant and the only person who ever gives him money".
"I'm willing to bet he used my last payment to pay for all the drinks he chugged down with his pals".
"Christa, keep in mind you're in a place where every man is a betting man and every woman is a betting woman. You should come by whenever we have poker night and come join the fun".
"No thanks. I prefer to be around sane people who won't take their shirts off whenever their favorite football team scores".
"Ha, that's what I like about you Christa. Keep up the great sense of humor".
Historia couldn't help but smile yet again because Louis was the nicest and most likeable person she has ever met in her whole life. Their playful banter was what brightened up her spirit, she laid her rent money by Samuel's head.
"Maybe you should cut him off".
"Yeah, I should. But he makes Sundays even more fun than they already are".
Historia blew a kiss to Santiago to which he responded with a playful "Awww".
~ THE DOCKS ~
Two down, one to go.
This was where she dreaded going the most, she knew that this would be the reason why she wouldn't be home until late.
Thankfully, after Santiago she couldn't help but be in a good, cheerful mood.
A cheerful mood that wouldn't last very long once she got down there. The breeze could no longer be felt, it was wet and soaking all over the place, it was more drabby and the fishermen were more cynical and like the people she saw at Argos & Associates.
She could feel the water splish and splosh under her feet as she was walking, it sounded like walking in wet mush.
All the fishermen were looking at her in weird ways as if they had never seen a gorgeous timid blonde before in their lives even though she worked for a very short time here. She could see most of them were on break either playing cards or watching rats they've found race each other in their own game they created. It certainly wasn't Pac-Man.
One of the boats in particular was where she was going, it was right by the large white building with a shark drawing on the side of it. The boat was one of the largest in the harbor and it wasn't hard to miss cause it had the most distinct color to it - darkish red crossed with teal and orange. Every boat had its own look, their own size, their own identity and this was definitely not an exception. It was called the Marina and she was here to see Richard Williams, its captain and the unofficial head of the docks. He controlled everything on the harbor and was powerful enough to deal with law enforcement as he had connections. Any snart person in town wouldn't even think or dare cross him and he was remorseless with everyone including Historia.
But Historia had been through way worse, she had gone up her father in his grotesque titan form. She wasn't afraid or intimidated by anyone. With that said, Richard didn't take kindly to her when she worked briefly at the docks. She had quickly gotten on his nerves and was always on his bad side, even Historia could see he was a big and scary guy that couldn't be pleased. Now why was she there, because she owed him a favor. A huge favor. When she had to quit due to how ill she got whenever out on the sea, he didn't react all that well to it as he was the head honcho around here, the boss who ran a tight schedule. So when he threatened in the most casual way to make Historia and her daughter "disappear" for pretty much good after she lost her temper with him and stood him up, she had no choice but to comply for Richard made sure then and there that he's made countless people.... "disappear" without a trace into the sea in garbage bags and thought it would be a nice change of pace to see what it would be like to do this with a child.
It was when she reached the boat that he came out and already made quite the appearance as soon as he stepped out.
THUD! He had thrown out another man onto the hard wooden dock board and Richard towered over him like the large giant he was "This is your last chance!" he yelled furiously with his face twisted in rage "You hear me, the next time I see you and ya don't have my money, I'll make it that you're never heard from or seen again you stupid fuck!"
The man, who was looking quite pale, quickly scurried away on his hands and knees like a scared mutt as Historia looked on in utter shock. She then turned and faced the ruthless giant as he was still on his boat.
That is until he turned and looked at her, he stopped breathing like a punch-drunk boxer and put on a calm smile. She knew he wasn't happy to see her but he knew when to put on the right face to give the impression to the person that it's all good. He wasn't fooling her.
"Lenz, now what may bring you around to these parts on a fine day like this". said Richard in this thick gruff accent that she was told was "Irish".
"Williams.... I think you know full well why I'm here" responded Historia with her left hand on her left hip.
"Ah, it seemed to have slipped my mind. I apologize for that" he said as he stepped right onto the dock "Follow me, you're right on time as always. Glad that part hasn't changed".
Sure enough, he took her into the building mentioned earlier through a clean white door in the back of it that was towards the water. He let her walk in first like he was a gentlemen and as soon as she stepped in, the ocean breeze completely disappeared and Historia cringed quite hard at what she literally walked herself into this time.
It was a stripper's dressing room with plenty of women in there, getting ready, checking themselves out in the mirrors, dressing in their usual sexy outfits, doing their hair and stretching or flexing their legs to prepare for the poles. Just the sight of it made Historia sick to her stomach.
"Well, my little ol' beauty. You know what to do, if you manage to actually do this for me than I'll give you something big in return". said Richard right behind her back. The way he said it was enough to send a chill down her spine.
~ THE FISHERMAN'S STRIP CLUB (HIDDEN) ~
When she got out there, Historia was met with plenty of hoots and applauses. All she - once a royal queen - could do was put on a happy face as she danced for the amusement of a bunch of horny catchers looking to kick back and have a few beers.
Her exposed midriff felt colder than putting a bag of ice on it, she quickly wiped away any sweat that was coming down on her forehead. All she thought to herself was "you can do this. You've been through worse. I guess this is what someone who called themself 'The Worst Girl Who Ever Lived' deserves". She then began who wonder what would Ymir think of this if she saw it. Not her daughter, her first lover. They made not have been an official couple nor had they decided on it but the feelings between the two of them were undeniable and when Ymir left her to go back for Reiner and Bertholdt, she became a truly empty shell for a while.
She missed those days when she was just a cadet. They might have been soldiers-in-training however there was a real comradary with all of them, they were real friends. Something that she never had as a child, growing up on the farm. Historia remembered that the other children would throw rocks at her if she ever came near them. It was a childhood that she never wants her only child to have and the now burning hatred Historia has for her mother who was killed in front of her eyes... is something she too never wants her child to feel about her. It wouldn't take any genius to know that she's an infinitely superior mother than Alma ever was. All she knows is that her parents are rotting away in hell where they belong.
The time passed on by as she did nothing but dance and dance around or on that stripper pole, taking needed breaks in between. Many of the other strippers in there appeared as they resented her cause she wasn't one of them. The unfortunate thing is Historia didn't mind as she was used to this growing up. It was the same horrible dynamic on that farm just in a sleazy environment.
It was sooner that it was beginning to get dark out and Richard had called her over to the bar where he was drinking what they called a "Martini". He told her bluntly after taking a sip that her time was up and she did good out there, "Go to the back and get dressed in proper clothes, meet me outside in the front".
So she did just that.
Stepping outside was the exact opposite of when she stepped in to this building, her feeling the cool, night breeze was a huge relief. Historia couldn't believe it as she took it all in with a huge deep breath. But she wasn't out of the clear just yet, the entrance door slammed shut which gave her a bit of a startle and who walked over and front of her - Richard. Only this time, he had something in both of his hands. It was money, he was counting it and he never looked up at her as he did it.
"Here" he said, handing out what appeared to be her pay "Didn't think I would say this but you very much earned it. No complaints from me on this one here with all those damn titties flying about".
Historia, awkwardly, reached out and took it. It was much more than a surprise that she would actually get paid for what she did. Then again, he did say that he would give her a big return and it turns out Richard actually keeps his word.
It was when she looked at it, her eyes shot wide opened. Historia was holding about a million dollars in her left hand, actual legit million dollars. It left her speechless -
"But... ho-... what?" is all she could say.
"Listen, and you listen good". Richard said, taking notice of her reaction "Regardless of the shite that went down between us, you are still a mother who gives a goddamn flying fuck about her kid and showed me she is willing to do about anything for her. You take this money, it's what will give you and yer kid food on the table. Shit, maybe with this you can afford to buy a better home. I don't know. It's now up to you."
He then walked back in as Historia looked back down at her payment. She was struck by what Richard said, it also turns out the man had a heart. He was indeed right, she could be able to do almost anything with this kind of money. Even give Ymir a better life, there's so much she could do for her.
She put it in her purse since again she didn't have what they called "a wallet" and finally after a long day, made her way back home. As incredible as the pay was, all Historia cared about now was getting safely home to her daughter. It was unusually very still and quiet this part of the day, it was probably because all the rowdiest kids were at home eating dinner or playing "video games".
It made sense, the streets were filled with them when it was the afternoon. It was when parents took a backseat and kids "ruled the block" as she heard one of them put it.
Still, Historia loved the peace and quiet. It gave her a calm feeling in her body and it was something she got once in a while in her life. Enjoy it while it lasts is a saying here that she herself has to agree with.
It was when she was lost in her train of thought that she realized she made it home. Historia was already prepared for what was to come on the other side - Ymir running up to her from wherever she was and hugging her tightly. It was wonderful every time it happened, it was the light at the end of the tunnel. Historia could picture her lovely, little blue eyes looking up at her mom.
She turned the key and heard it click, with a smile on her face.
Opening the door wide as can be and walking on in, there was.... nothing.
Just dead silence.
Historia immediately noticed and found it more than just odd since Ymir was never a quiet girl.
She closed the door behind her and called out for her daughter "Ymir... sweetie. Mommy's home". No response, not even a pin dropping.
"Is she asleep?" she thought.
It was awfully quiet, too quiet. So that must be it.
All the lights were still on. There was still that warm sense of coziness that this home always had, the couch was perfectly fine with no cushions missing, the books were still up on the shelf as when she left.
It did seem rather strange since it was the complete opposite every time she came home. Ymir was a messy kid, and that's the way Historia liked it.
Still, it was at least pleasant. Just as nice and quiet as it was outside. It was then that she heard a noise in the back-kitchen which instantly put yet another smile on her face.
"Of course, the kitchen" is what Historia thought, sometimes thing did slip her mind every now and then. She wasn't in the mood much for eating but her daughter certainly was.
Oh, how wrong she was.
Once in and noticing, Historia had made herself at... well, home. She put her purse down on the front chair and began walking to the kitchen. It obviously was the back of any bookstore that was converted into a workable but fairly small kitchen and it did the trick for both Historia and her daughter.
However, it's when she entered through that she stopped dead in her tracks, let out a huge gasp, her eyes went wide, her pupils dilated, her mouth dropped and stayed. Her body then started to tremble and shake as if a switch went off in her and all she could was stare on in horror.
In the kitchen wasn't Ymir, instead looking through the fridge with their thick butt high in the air was a full-blown person. Just from their legs and even ass in her face, she could immediately tell that whoever this person was was wearing the upgraded black Scout Regiment armor minus the weapons. She couldn't believe it herself, she didn't even know what to think of. There were now so many things racing through her head, leading to "Ymir!".
Without thinking anything through, she reacted too fast in the moment. Right when Historia took one step back and was about to make a run for it upstairs, the person spoke - "Don't. You. Move."
The voice was not only female but sounded awfully familiar. It ended up sending a shocked chill down her spine, "She... she knew... she knew I was here this whole time as soon as I came in!" Historia realized in horror.
The woman came up chugging a glass of cold milk she found in the back of the fridge, it was then that Historia recognized the back of this person's head. The same dark black hair that she instantly noticed. "No. It... it... it couldn't be!" she thought in confusion.
It was after that this woman had finished the entire glass, took one look at it empty and threw it to the floor on her left side with a shattering and loud smash. She turned around and Historia let out another gasp. Yes, it could be.
Looking right at her and kicking the fridge door closed behind her with her left leg, all with a creepy smirk on her face and now having the old haircut she had about five years ago before she cut it smaller than ever.... was Mikasa Ackerman.
"Well, well, well. Now what do we have here" she said in a surreal, playful, mocking way "It really has been a long time, hasn't it. Or at least it feels that way", Mikasa started to march on over to Historia with both hands balled up into fists and yet she still had that smirk on her face.
Historia gritted her teeth as she instantly turned over and ran for the door. She didn't think of her daughter or anything else, she reacted in the moment in absolute terror. Sprinting to it, Historia had almost made it to the mere door knob when right from over her head - Mikasa had lept like an acrobat in front of her with both hands on her hips and now Historia was staring directly into her chest then her eyes, the eyes of Mikasa.
"How rude. Running out like that when you have a guest" Mikasa said, looking like she was enjoying the fear and horror that Historia was in.
Her throat closed up on the inside, she couldn't speak as all she could do was walk backwards in fear. Mikasa walked, or rather marched, along with her. Historia looked on in her eyes, her pitch raven black eyes that were darker than the night outside.
"What's wrong? Shell shocked? Oh but don't worry, I'm not gonna hurt you.... much".
Historia let out a gasp through gritted teeth.
".... I'm joking, silly".
She reached out fast and pinched Historia's left cheek as she said "silly". This wasn't the Mikasa that she once knew, no longer was she stoic and coldly serious. Now she was more lively than ever and taking great fun in tormenting Historia.
Back in cadet training, Mikasa Ackerman was the coldest, most isolated and distant of them all. Even when they trained in hand-to-hand combat and Mikasa simply outdid her no matter how hard she tried, she was still emotionless as can be. It was later on after Eren discovered his titan-shifting ability that her true personality began to show more and more under her cold exterior.
Historia developed a genuine friendship with her, even one time making Mikasa blush in embarrassment. This all came to fruition when Mikasa told her that once she's queen to punch Levi.... and so she did. While everyone was in shock, Mikasa had a satisfied smile on her face.
Oh, now if only this was that Mikasa she was dealing with.
Historia now had her back or rather her bottom up against the left side of red velvet couch, where she put her purse down. It was then she remembered something that she had completely forgotten about with everything that has happened today - her Walther PPK/S that she kept in there for safety.
"Now then, let's quit fooling around and get down to why I'm here, I mean after all we have a lot of catching up to do". said Mikasa as she then reached out her other arm and began to stroke Historia's hair on the right side. The way that Mikasa had been moving was very cat-like and now it felt like she was indeed a cat toying around with a poor little mouse.
"I hope you don't mind if I sit down and make myself comfortable, do you?" she asked in what was both a creepy and polite tone at the same time. She pointed her finger over to the sofa chair that was right beside them.
Historia started to tremble and shake yet again and worst, began to sweat and her heart was pounding. She could feel the former running down her forehead and the latter thumping and thumping harder and harder in her chest, almost like she was having a panic attack. It was at that moment that Historia, her eyes dilating in shock, realized that Mikasa had fully noticed what was going on with her. What at first was a confused look immediately became a sadistic and horrifying smile with an intense stare, she knew that Mikasa had realized then and there that she had Historia right where she wanted her....
"Oh, what's wrong. Queen of the Walls, Historia Reiss is afraid. The so-called Goddess is shaking in fear. You weren't like this when you went and killed your father or when you stopped me from killing your girlfriend. It's funny how you were able to fight against the odds like we all did and yet here you are as frail and timid as a damn coward can be" as she was saying all of this, Mikasa had taken hold of Historia's face and was squeezing it in her own playfully sick and twisted way.
"How pathetic are you now, especially as a mother".
It was there that Historia had finally snapped, her teeth gritted this time in a mix of both shock and anger, she let out a stunned gasp through her teeth.... it was what Mikasa said that shook her to the bone - her daughter! Where was she and what did she do to her!
Her left arm came over from her back in what seemed like the speed of light, in her hand was her Walther. When Mikasa was stroking Historia's hair, she had carefully got hold of her purse gun but couldn't bring herself to use it - not on a friend, not on Mikasa - and while contemplating, her fear came through which instantly led to now.
But as soon as she almost had the gun up to Mikasa's face, it suddenly stopped and a tight grip came over Historia's clutched hand. It was just as fast as when she raised the Walther....
Mikasa had grabbed both Historia's hand and her gun, a stunned latter could only look on as the former grip became tighter and tighter.
"You seriously thought that I didn't see your arm reaching in to that little carrier behind your back, oh Historia".
All she could do was stand and stare as her body went dead, "We wouldn't want this to fire, now would we? One shot and everyone in this area will know".
The gun came out of her hand like a quick pop and then in yet another fast moment, Historia felt a sharp pain in her stomach as she was pulled off her feet and went flying then thankfully landed on something thick and soft at the same time.
Mikasa had knee kicked her in the stomach and it was so strong it sent her flying into a flop on the couch with her legs spread - one on the hard back and the other on the floor. If it wasn't for Historia now clutching her stomach that was in immense pain, it would look like she was literally kicking back and resting.
As Historia was in physical pain feeling a hot burn on her stomach skin, Mikasa non-chalantly took the clip out and threw it behind her as she threw the actual gun to the side and walked over to said side.... and sat down in the chair that was exactly as red velvet as the couch, with her leg crossed.
"If you know what's good for you than I suggest you go into the kitchen and give me what you and your daughter were gonna have to eat tonight. I saw it in that thing they call a fridge and it looked lovely, now I haven't eaten all day so I think it would be best if you get in there and start cooking".
Historia responded with a look that was a mix of bafflement, rage and fear.
"You do want to see your daughter again alive?"
She instantly sat up now with a look of pure rage on her face as soon as Mikasa said that.
"Don't worry. She's safe where I have her now. But if you want her back in your arms than you better do what I say!"
The last part Mikasa spoke with such fierce intimidation that it made her point clear as day.
Historia knew that as ridiculous as her demand was, Mikasa was dead serious and the only thing she cared about now was Ymir. She wanted her angel back.
She took in a breath, closed her eyes hard, withstood the stinging pain in her stomach,  got up straight and marched her way into the kitchen —
It was there that Mikasa caught a great look at Historia's rather large ass. "My, my, you sure do have a beautiful piece of ass down there" she said with another smirk once again on her face. Historia was just about to enter when Mikasa's comment stopped her dead in her tracks, she looked back at her with an angered and disgusted sneer-like expression, as Mikasa did nothing but laugh a little. She rolled her eyes still in disgust and continued into the kitchen, it was the first time she ever heard Mikasa laugh and it was her staring at and complimenting her ass. It's always the ones you least expect.
Once she stepped right in, she let out her breath as she stood in front of her fridge and thought to herself, standing still, "What on God's earth am I doing?". It was absolutely absurd what was now happening and none of it was lost on Historia. Even then, she still had gritted teeth and for a third unfortunate time started to shake once more as if she was out in the cold freezing. She immediately tried to control herself and straightened out the best that Historia could, it was there that she did lose control however of her emotions that she tried to contain. Now Historia couldn't take it no more and felt all the overwhelming senses come over her entire body, she covered her mouth with her hand and began to sob and cry quietly.
How? How could this have happened is what she thought. She had to leave everything behind after the Walls collapsed and the Rumbling was unleashed, all the odds and stakes that she faced alongside others. All that she wanted was to start over and have a new life with her daughter, not having to witness any more of the horror that she's seen with her own two eyes. Historia wanted nothing more than to have a calm and quiet life but as it turned out, it didn't happen the way that she wanted whatsoever. What she went through and had to do this day had culminated in the situation she now found herself in, and yet Historia realized another burning question and that was.... how did Mikasa find her?
Historia had made sure to her wit's end that all of her footprints were covered up and that absolutely no one could possibly find or track her down. On this modern side of the world, there would have been no way to ever find a queen in hiding. The modern side was far larger than all of Marley or Eldia combined.
Yet again it was sorely proven that she was dead wrong.
She had let out as much as she could without alerting Mikasa in the other room and wiped her tears away, they had reached the bottom of her face. Historia had to make it through no matter what in order to get to her angel, just thinking about what Mikasa would do to her sent an unspeakable horror down her back.
It was just as she was about to open the fridge door, just one inch from putting her hand on the door opener.... when she let out a huge gasp that was far more louder than the other two she let out earlier. Her body shut down as if a switch went off and her eyes dilated again this time with an intense tremble to it.
"Dear god.... please.... please no. No.... no, no, no, no!" is what Historia thought, she was beyond terrified and felt like she was on the verge of breaking down in tears the second time in a row.
What caused her to gasp loudly was that something had grasped fierce and firm to the right side of her butt at the most vulnerable moment, it grasped as hard and as tight as can be. And she could feel that it wasn't ever gonna let go any time soon. It was gripping on so hard that it actually started to hurt and when it tightened more, Historia let out a squeak.
An arm came over her neck and latched on just as firmly and it was at this exact moment that Historia realized to her absolute, color draining horror what was going on and what was about to happen.
The whisper in her ear that came next all but confirmed it and tears welled up in her eyes —
"I can't believe that you actually fell for that" is what Mikasa whispered directly into her right ear....
Mikasa had both lied and tricked her, now she had Historia right where she wanted her. She had grabbed onto Historia's ass while licking her lips in an unnervingly sexual way and had locked her left arm around Historia's neck. Mikasa Ackerman was coping a feel.
"At long last, the fun can begin".
She could smell Historia's hair without having to sniff it as it was in front of her face. It smelled like the most beautiful spring air, it reminded her of when she was a kid and would work with her mother in the garden. With a curious but dark smile on her face, Mikasa came over to the side of Historia's face, opened her mouth slightly.... and proceeded to lick her face, long and savoring.
Mikasa could tell so obviously that it stunned Historia in a mix of fear and disgust. But she didn't care at all in the slightest bit, in fact it made her harder down below in between her legs.
She then let go of Historia's sweet thick ass and came around, grabbing another tight hold this time on her vagina. Another squeak let out from Historia.
"Don't be shy, sweetheart. Is it really my fault that you're such a sight to behold? No. But take it easy and just relax yourself, I'm not here to hurt you. I'm not here to drag you back to Paradis, I'm not here to kill you and I'm certainly not here to rape you. You want to know why I'm here?".
"................."
"Silent as if a cat got your tongue. It's because after the past eleven years of my goddamn life since I was only nine as a child, I think it's now time for me to settle down and begin a new life, with you my Queen by my side".
The last part stunned Historia and Mikasa could tell.
"Would you believe me if I told you that one year ago from today, when I was lying by Eren's grave that I made, a bird came to me and returned this scarf that he gave me?"
She chuckled to herself as if she said something cute.
"Who am I kidding, I just lied to you now to get you in here right where I want you so why would you even believe me.... even if it is the actual truth".
"JUST...." Historia spat out, the first thing she had said to Mikasa this whole time she's invaded her home "Just.... tell me why.... are you.... here!"
She struggled to get the words out, all this as Mikasa was speaking to her she had still held on to her private part equally as hard as she had groped her ass. It was enough for Historia.
"Again...." Mikasa paused and tightened her arm around Historia's neck to where Historia squirmed and nearly had a loss of breath ".... how rude".
"Don't ever try to rush someone when they're speaking cause where's any of the fun in getting it over with so fast".
"You keep saying that I'm rude.... when you're the one who broke into my home and holding me against my will!" sniped and spat Historia furiously.
"I have my reasons for that".
"What reasons!?"
"I'm getting to that, sweetheart."
"Don't. Call. Me. That!"
"I will call you whatever I want to call you, what even are you gonna do, have me put in a cell. Reminder my Queen, you're no longer sitting on a throne with a crown on your head. And plus after all, you are my sweetheart from this day forward".
Historia struggled as Mikasa was saying all of this but couldn't break through the heavy strength she had on her and stopped in shock once Mikasa said the very last part.
She turned what little her head would allow to look at Mikasa, "What - what do you mean?" asked Historia in a now sheepish manner.
"What do I mean, this is what I mean!"
With a hard thud, Mikasa slammed Historia against the fridge and held her to it with her left arm now on the back of Historia's neck, pinning it as Mikasa's right arm has Historia's hands in a wristlock together. She yelped as she was shoved against it.
"That bird - whether it was Eren's spirit or not - was a sign showing me that I needed to move on, I had to move on. From Eren, from all of it. I've been around half of this new world more than you or anyone on Paradis or Marley have ever seen — Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Albuquerque, El Paso, Portland, Baltimore, Bright Falls, I could go on. At first, I wanted to actually see the world and explore it but then.... let's just say that my past, everything I was involved in, who I was then all caught up to me. Everything went to shit the next thing I knew so to make it on this side, I became or rather had to become a bounty hunter. Which to you, explains why I'm wearing this without any ODM gear. And you know what, I was great at it. Turns out everything I learned along with you, Eren, Armin, Ymir, Jean, Connie, Sasha, Annie, Reiner and Bertholdt was not only useful for taking down titans but also human sleaze. All wanted dead or alive, I left some alive and most dead. Trust me this time when I say that you should see the way their heads pop off their necks when I'm through with them. But that's not what you want to hear from me, don't you - ".
Just then felt a hard thrust into her crotch area to where it almost managed to break her out of stance, Historia gave it all she got with that knee kick, the same one that Mikasa had given her earlier.
Oh, how she would immediately regret that soon after.
Mikasa had managed to grab hold of her as soon as Historia made a run for it past her and slammed her against the fridge door to where she almost felt as if her spine was about to burst out of her back.
This time, the look on Mikasa's face was one of pure fed-up rage. Looking down on Historia, she nearly looked like a frail animal cowering in front of a large predator and she now knew this was the time to strike.
As Historia finished regaining consciousness or what little she was in from the fierce slam, she saw Mikasa standing firm right over her with that exact look of raw anger staring right at her. She couldn't move even if she wanted to, she realized that she had finally blew it and could only look on in pure horror and immense regret.
"Very well then, if you don't even want to bother knowing or hearing any single fucking thing I have to say.... than I might as well skip to the fucking point of why I'm fucking here in the fucking first place! Historia Reiss, Christa Lenz, whatever you're fucking name is, from now on from this night forward, you. are. mine!".
Historia didn't know what was to come but in a moment of panic and utter fear as if she was a small child, she said ".... Wh.... Wh.... What do you want?".
Mikasa's face then turned from rage to a horrifying and twisted smile - one that was a mix of relief, anticipation and satisfaction all in a maniacal way - that was entirely reminiscent of the one Annie gave when she revealed her identity as the Female Titan.
She started to laugh as she moved in a little, she licked her lips in a grossly disturbing way with her mouth wide open and still laughing in an almost giddy way. After finishing, she laughed yet again with her teeth barring, tongue licking and moved right in on Historia.
Her pupils dilated, her eyes bulged out, her hair on the side and back of her head moved away as if blow-dry air was under it.... and screamed in absolute horror, mouth open as wide as can be.
She screamed....
And screamed....
And would've continued screaming.... if Mikasa's lips weren't on hers and her tongue wasn't deep and moving around in Historia's mouth like a snake.
To Be Continued....
NOTES:
• With the anime ending soon, here's a rather unexpected fanfiction that I've been writing for a while now. I picture it being five chapters that aren't any less ambitious than any others.
• I wanted to show a different side to the world of AOT so I got some influence from an old fan theory I remembered a classmate sharing back during S2 and it was that the rest of humanity isn't extinct and instead it's either modern day or the future with the rest of the world outside the Walls being normal as they are today. I just applied it to Marley and Eldia.
• This takes aforementioned three years after the events of "The Final Chapters - Part 2" but it goes way deeper than that and is essentially an unconventional love story which is very character-driven at first following a day-in-the-life on one character than becomes about the two of them.
• I also see the English Dub being the canon version with Bryn Apprill being the voice of Historia and Trina Nishimura being the voice of Mikasa in my head as I was writing this.
• As for Mikasa, I wanted her whole introduction to be dark, creepy and scary with a new personality that as it turns out in the next chapters is somewhat of a facade. I also had some trouble with writing that more than shocking ending as I didn't want it to seem like Mikasa was raping Historia or was about to however I felt like I was just sugar-coating the shock of it so what you read was really a dark and extreme but non-assault way.
Chapter 2 will hopefully be coming soon.

Prompt 7: Hiding Their Face in the Other’s Neck
| 6 | Prompts | 8 |
Sam was furious. He was embarrassed and furious and mad at his own body.
Sam had faced aliens.
He had faced Nazis trying to take over SHIELD and AIs run rampant. Sam had found the Winter Soldier hiding out in Europe when no one could trace him and no one knew if he was safe to interact with. Sam had fought with superheroes who were his friends (and one particularly annoying arachnid kid). He had taken down super soldiers who could have snapped him in half if they got the chance. He had been there at both of the battles where earth's mightiest heroes faced Thanos.
And sure. Okay. Sam had gotten a few scratches and bruises. He had turned into dust for five years, but that had been no fault of Sam's own, so Sam wasn't sure if that actually counted as an injury during battle (more of a... five-year buffer time).
This sucked. This was ridiculous.
How had Sam done this?
Watching Bucky laugh like it was going out of style, Sam wondered how the hell he twisted his ankle while jogging in Delacroix.
"I knew I shouldn't have called you," grumbled Sam as he lay on the side of the road.
"What? Were you going to call Sarah?" wheezed Bucky through laughs, "She would have been worse."
Bucky was right. She would have made fun of Sam for the rest of his life. There was no way Captain America Sam Wilson, near-invincible acting, would ever live this down if she knew Sam had been distracted by a Yellow-Rumped warbler before he unceremoniously toppled off the road and twisted his ankle.
No way in hell was he telling Sarah any of this.
"We're saying I went on a mission," said Sam.
"In the morning?" asked Bucky as his laughter finally wound down.
"I can have a... quick... early morning mission - shut up. We're saying that," said Sam, wincing as he accidentally moved his ankle wrong.
"Okay, Cap. We'll say that. Just let me take a look at it," said Bucky softly as he sat down with Sam in the tall grass and gingerly inspected Sam's ankle.
Nice gulf breeze. A view of the ocean on the other side of the road. The sunrise barely peeking out, casting a warm haze across all the land its rays touched. A little humid, and a little too hot for it to be exactly comfortable, but it was a wonderful time of the day. Romantic, almost, as they moved into golden hour.
And the way Bucky was with Sam's ankle. Like Sam could be delicate. As if Sam was someone who should be taken care of.
Which was a lot.
Too much, sometimes.
Sam had his own medical training. He used to save people who needed medical assistance with Riley. But it was nice to have someone to rely on. Someone who, if Sam called at five-thirty in the morning, would wake up and come help him even if Bucky hated mornings.
Sam wasn't sure if he'd had someone like that in his life. Not like this, at least. Someone who'd come with zero judgment. Who was okay with helping him. Who didn't make Sam feel like he was messing up or failing when he did ask for help.
It was... Sam wasn't used to it. It was nice, but it didn't feel exactly real sometimes. Like one day, Sam would wake up and he'd learn that there was no Bucky Barnes, no roommate.
Bucky Barnes was a historical figure. It was like having Sappho bandage him up. Though. Sappho probably wouldn't be making Sam feel things that he was pointedly avoiding. Sappho would be easier to deal with than the playing innocent asshole who was always there for Sam Bucky Barnes.
Why couldn't the Winter Soldier just be Sappho? Why couldn't Steve had been like, "Sappho! My favorite lyrical poet from Lesbos! Sam, you need to track her down and see if she's okay."
Had to be fucking Bucky Barnes.
"This is definitely twisted like you said," murmured Bucky as he gently placed the ankle down.
"I told you it was," said Sam as Bucky began searching for the right supplies in the first aid he brought.
"No, you're right. I apologize. I didn't mean I didn't believe you. I shouldn't just state the obvious," said Bucky as he found the bandage.
Sam winced as Bucky began wrapping the wound. Bucky gave Sam an apologetic look. Sam gave him an "It's okay," look back.
Bucky was tender; his hands wrapping Sam's ankle in what Sam could only describe as filled with affection. Sam didn't want this. He wanted zero sexual tension with ex-Winter Soldier Sappho wrapping his ankle. Not this.
This was hell.
Though, maybe Sam spoke too soon because Bucky was moving and - had Bucky just pulled Sam up into a bridal carry?
"Um. Sorry. I just," Bucky started, his face turning red, "I ran here. Faster. If you'd rather I run back home and get your truck - "
"No! Nope. This is. Um. Fine," said Sam, feeling his own face heat up, "This is fine. Totally. Fine. Great, actually. Home faster. Get this iced faster."
Sam didn't know when he had wrapped his arms around Bucky's neck, but he was doing that now.
Great.
Sam was wrong earlier.
This was hell.
"Yeah. Definitely. I'm just gonna..." Bucky said as he began running faster than a car.
Sam found himself hiding his face in Bucky's neck. Feeling embarrassed. Feeling adored. Smelling the strawberry shampoo Bucky kept insisting on buying for himself. Wanting this to be done as soon as possible. Wanting this to never end.
Sam wasn't going to think.
He was just going to hold onto Bucky and not think at all.

The song "Sugar Cloud" from Ride The Cyclone reminds me of the plot of Smurfs: The Lost Village, so I made an AMV.
I also made a Smurf parody of the song, below the cut:
SMURFETTE:
I tried to rescue the other Smurfs from Gargamel... and that's when it happened. Things went the way I wanted them to, but not the way I expected. Smurfs were screaming! Sparks were shooting all over the place! And then the screaming and the sparks just- stopped. And there was like this weightlessness. My heart stopped and started again, but I wasn't distressed. No- I was just soaking it all in. 'Cause on a certain level, it was so smurfy! Coming back in that field of flowers, I could see all the other Smurfs, and it was like- something unlocked in me. My heart just welled out with all this love for everything! Images and all this feeling flooded into me like...
Like waking up the day before my birthday and wondering what my presents will be, going Smurfboarding with my friends and feeling the wind in my hair, picking flowers, trying to teach Clumsy how to dance before Laconia and Woody's wedding, pretending that we're the ones getting married, writing a love letter to a secret admirer, morning muffins, Halloween, watching Baby Smurf happily playing with his new toy, being in the choir at the height of the chorus and feeling all the voices rattling my bones- I started laughing like a crazy person, giddy with endorphins, it was all dancing leprechauns and rainbows and unicorns, streams of chocolate, whirling rides, flashing lights!
There's no shame in loving my small town. The only good things that happened to me happened in Smurf Village. It took a horrible accident for me to realize how goshdarn wonderful everything is.
SMURFETTE:
I USED TO THINK THAT LIFE WAS JUST A JAWBREAKER
YEAH YOU SUCK, AND YOU SUCK, AND YOU SUCK
AND YOU SUCK AND YOU SUCK SOME MORE
YEAH, YOU SUCK SOME MORE
AT FIRST, IT SEEMED SO SWEET AS THE COLORS COME AND GO
LIKE THE SEASONS COME AND GO
THE SLUSH AND RAIN AND SNOW
'TIL YOU CAN'T TASTE NO MORE
CHOIR:
SO YOU SUCK SOME MORE
SMURFETTE:
I USED TO THINK THAT LIFE WAS JUST A HEARTBREAKER
THAT JUST BREAKS, AND IT BREAKS, AND IT BREAKS
AND IT BREAKS 'TIL YOU CAN'T BREAK NO MORE
CHOIR:
'TIL YOU CAN'T TAKE NO MORE
CHOIR (except SMURFETTE):
AAAH... AAAH...
SMURFETTE:
I SEE THE WORLD WITH ALL ITS BACKWARDS UPSIDE DOWN
THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH BEING THE ONLY GIRL IN TOWN
OH, EVERYTHING'S CLEAR
NOW THAT I'M HERE ON MY SUGAR CLOUD
OH MY SOUL IT SINGS A SONG SO SWEET AND PURE
I'VE FELT IT ALL ALONG BUT NOW I'M SURE
OH EVERYTHING'S LOVE, LOOKING DOWN FROM ABOVE
ON MY SUGAR CLOUD
LET ME TAKE YOU AWAY, TO A SKY OF COTTON CANDY
WE'LL FLY IN LIKE A KITE ON A STRING
UP-UP-UP AND ABOVE, ALL THAT SUGARCOATED DANDY
I WOULDN'T CHANGE MY LIFE FOR A THING
IT MAKES ME WANNA SAY
I SEE THE GOLD, I SEE THE PINK, I SEE THE BLUE
THE SUN GOES UP, THE SUN GOES DOWN
OH, WHAT TO DO?
OH EVERYTHING'S CLEAR, NOW THAT I'M HERE
ON MY SUGAR CLOUD
*lost village dance break*
CHOIR:
I USED TO THINK THAT LIFE WAS JUST A JAWBREAKER
SMURFETTE:
JAWBREAKER!
CHOIR:
YOU SUCK, AND YOU SUCK, AND YOU SUCK
AND YOU SUCK SOME MORE
I USED TO THINK THAT LIFE WAS JUST A HEARTBREAKER
IT BREAKS AND IT TAKES UNTIL YOU CAN'T TAKE NO MORE
SMURFETTE:
AND NOW I'M FLOATIN' HIGH ON A CLOUD
AND I COULD PUKE A RAINBOW
CHOIR:
AH
AH
AH
AH
DA DAA DA DAA DA...
VILLAGE BOYS (overlapping):
ALL OF THE DARKNESS
AND ALL OF THE BRIGHT
ALL COME TOGETHER IN A BEAUTIFUL LIGHT
YES-
GROVE GIRLS (overlapping):
SHE SEES THE WORLD
WITH ALL OF ITS DARK AND ITS LIGHT
YES-
SMURFETTE:
I SEE THE WORLD WITH ALL ITS BACKWARDS UPSIDE DOWN
THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH THE ONLY GIRL IN TOWN
EVERYTHING IS CLEAR
NOW THAT I'M HERE ON MY SUGAR CLOUD
AND NOW EVERYTHING'S LOVE, LOOKING DOWN FROM ABOVE
ON MY SUGAR CLOUD
OH, EVERYTHING'S CLEAR
NOW THAT I'M HERE
ON MY
SUUUUGAR
CLOOOOUD
LOOK AT ME NOW ON MY
CHOIR:
SUGAR CLOUD-
SMURFETTE:
YEEEEAAAHH!

Happy STS! Seasons are changing. Tell me how one or more of your characters would react. Are they dressing cozy? Obsessed with everything pumpkin? Have they been prepping for Halloween since last year?
Whew, many characters to dream up feelings about this. Sounds like fun, though! All the characters are from Target Practice
Swift: It's been a while since Swift got invested in the spirit of the season. He's not a curmudgeon, he just longs for the most important aspect of the holidays; a complete, happy, content family. He's more of a "go with the flow" sort of celebrator over the course of the novel as it happens. "Oh, you're making hot chocolate? I'd love a cup. No, no, don't bring it over, I'll get up." "Oh, we're carving pumpkins? No, I know I didn't bring one, I'll just watch everyone else. Here, let me get your pumpkin guts out of the way." "Oh, we're decorating for Halloween? I'll get up on the ladder to put up the spider webs." He has a habit of giving himself the undesirable tasks, on the one hand to make sure no one else gets it, but also so everyone knows he's reliable.
(I understand you, Swift)
Patches: Oh my GOD there's so much to do, we have to take in every single aspect of this season while it's around, we can actually be outside most of the day and not want to die! We gotta stop by that food stall that only opens during the autumn in the park, they have those pumpkin spice cake pops!!! Plays in the park auditorium at dusk, community trick or treat events, Rocky Horror Picture Show midnight screenings! THE WORLD IS OUR OYSTER!
Ira: Ira would rather die than admit this to present company, but she adores the holidays. Like a metronome, she has drifted from one pole to the other due to past traumas. She will suppress holiday cheer in order to avoid the disappointment that comes with knowing she can't celebrate them with her birth family, but about a week before the big day, she'll swing to the other extreme, guzzling hot toddies and making spooky ghost cookies, forcing the entire group to share ghost stories (much to Specs and Rat's chagrin). She can't help herself.
Lumo: Lumo's all about tradition. It can seem like he's limiting his fun to an itinerary, but structure is fun to him.
"We're decorating cookies at 11, then we're going to the pumpkin patch at 2:00 to pick one that we like, and the appointment is at two sharp, so we're leaving at 1:15, and then when we get back, we're going to carve them right away, 'cause otherwise they'll just be sitting around. I have a playlist I've already made, all the greats, Monster Mash, Flying Purple People Eater, the classics. Then we'll roast the seeds, which will be done in time for a double feature of Nightmare Before Christmas and Wendell and Wild, and it's going to be amazing and no one is going to complain."
Gharial: Gharial, like the eternal cinnamon bun he be, gets into the Halloween spirit the moment the first leaf changes color. Pumpkin spice lattes, sweaters, watching Hocus Pocus on repeat, and tormenting Rat with matching costume ideas. Families might change, but holidays are always there, and rather than live in the past, Gharial prefers the prospect of making new memories with the people he loves right now.
Rat: Guys, can't we slow down with the decorations?
...I didn't say I didn't want to help put them up.
Specs: Wake me up on Halloween night. I am dressing as Oracle from Batman. That is all.
Bruja: The perfect celebration buddy. Down for whatever, whenever. Haunted Forest? I'm gonna make the chainsaw clown laugh. Hayride? I'll bring the blankets! Movie marathon? I've already got popcorn in the microwave. Since Specs and Bruja are together so often, Specs is often along for the ride, though it's less to do with the spirit of the season than it is the blood of the covenant.
Thanks for the ask, Tori! Even after ten years, I'm learning new things about my characters every day.

I often think of a life where the fog between us clears, but it is too late for us now; so-
In another life, we'll be two rusty swing sets smiling uncannily at the passage of time in an abandoned lawn and the weeds will be our flower of love, the sunset will be the colour of our joy and there won't be a single rise without ur screech waking me up and we'll make our own music, and dance on it guided by the wind. We'll have all of it.
In another life, we'll be two droplets accidentally splattered on the ground slowly mixing into one and we will have our river of very own stories that just the two of us would know, the waves will sound a little like our laughter which never goes stagnant; our stories will flow through the mountains and plains, through dawns and dusks. We will travel the whole world together because places we can not reach our chitter chatter would. We will eventually talk about the northern lights, your childhood home, the pacific ocean, the arctic glaciers, Bermuda triangle, my tiny village. I'll watch it all eye level from your shoulders because we will never have to be apart. I'll never have to grieve your loss, You'll never have to find somebody else for your plans.
In another life, We'll be two pedals of a cycle, without one there would be no way life would still function and we will cover an eternity supporting each other. You'll be the prettiest flower, I'll be the regular bee resting on your petal and forgetting about the day. I'll sting every hand that tries to pluck you.
In another life, you wouldn't be a comet of energy crashing on my way and then disappearing but we would be born of light to shine like the stars together till the skies are still adorned of them.
We will be two humming birds playing around the canopy, disappearing suddenly from the crowds eye, but never from our silly game. We will be two parallel tracks running together, or you'll be the electric wire, I'll be the sparrow sleeping with blind trust on it.
In another life, we could be lovers with our fingers covered in sand writing our names together on a beach,
We could be neighbours peeking through windows screaming and calling each other's name
we could be siblings sharing life, fighting for the larger piece of our favorite snack
We could be two friends, holding hands while crossing road
strangers sharing a piece of chocolate on the second accidental meet
We would be ppl we will never have to force ourselves to forget
I'll hand feed you love and We'll never have to imagine any of our conversations.
Because the love I have for you in this life would not be wasted, just stored for another.

Attack On Titan: A Former Queen, A Former Soldier
By BurningExeter
My Ending and My Beginning.
To Be Continued In Chapter 2....
