Luffy = sun god, Law = moon god?
Some long-ass Analysis of this Theory! Enjoy !!
Warning: op manga spoilers ahead
first thing first,
Let us break down Law's name again. I found on Twitter, a translated tweet from a Japanese fan explaining that Law's taboo name isn't actually 'Water' but 'War Tale'.
The word used is ワーテル which is pronounced as "wāteru" and has no direct translation in English or any Language, unlike "水" (mizu) in Japanese. they point out that the same 'word manipulation' that happened to 'Laugh Tale' is applied here.
'war tale' according to Law is a taboo name, and his family for generations has...?
Let's take a minute and look at the Nefertiti family, for example, their duty was to protect the Ponegliffs all these years, also, The Kozuki Family's duty was to write the History on those Ponegliffs. ( there's actually a theory of them having a secret D as well)
Then, what is Law's Family rule? I am guessing something relating to inheriting or maintaining the records of the war that happened in the void century -The Story of War/ War tale- or some sacred wisdom or piece of Information. maybe Law had heard of the name Imu from his parents just like Copra did and that is why they keep their names secret - from Imu, which shockingly, knew Liliy for 800 years, and just now did Imu realize she is a D. So it runs in families?
Let me go back to why I think Law is related to the moon god despite the popular belief that Blackbeard is, in fact, the moon god.
here is Oda's statement for their flower:
Luffy=Sunflower
Law=Queen of the Night
So, these D boys are:
Luffy is the sun, Law is the moon, and Blackbeard is the eclipse and not the moon.
(Credit: @moustawott, on Tumbler)
Let's ponder Egyptian mythology for a sec, The god of the moon, Thoth, he is known for several things that sort of matches Law's actions and Characteristics:
( please notice the blue feather im dying)
Thoth helped the sun god ''Ra'' by providing him with magical spells to overcome obstacles during his nightly journey through the underworld( Luffy+ Law = Marineford).
2. He was depicted holding a writing palette and a reed pen, symbolizing his role as the divine record-keeper and lawgiver(war tale- Law's Family duty).
3. Thoth was also associated with medicine and healing. He was believed to possess knowledge of magical spells and remedies that could cure ailments and protect against diseases ( basically Law).
4. He was responsible for recording the verdict of the heart-weighing ceremony that determined if the person was able to continue on to the Afterlife (final operation theme).
5. in the eye of Hours, the sun is a symbol of good luck& the moon is a symbol of healing powers.
The moon is not the enemy of the sun, they co-exist, the moon is an ally that comes before the dawn. As Law broke the gear of the world in Punk Hazard, and announced the beginning of the new Area, a.k.a beginning of the Dawn.
Maybe Law isn't the moon god himself but he acts like a moon knight at least, since Luffy got to the new world, Law was at his side, as his guide from the darkness to the new dawn ( a bit romantic lol? not my intention really) and what drove Law to save Luffy at the Marineford was his instinct to protect the sun.
Another point is, Law's chest and back tattoos are clearly devoted to Cora, but his arms and hands show a wheel and sun-shaped circles, plus, his jolly roger, which I know is a rip off of doffy to piss him off BUT
when putting those next to each other, makes you wonder, right?
what made me come up with those biased, wild, and crazy ideas is this:
this cross is within a circle, the Solar Symbol cross. ( pointed out by @DawnDuskJapan on youtube, check it out)
the cross representing the rays of the sun and the circle representing the sun itself. It symbolizes life, vitality, and the power of the sun.
The ancient Shandians worshiped a Sun God, and The giants of Elbaf worship a Sun God as well, so maybe, The white city also worshiped the sun god? which Law subconsciously, added those features to his jolly Roger and tattoos.
Let's not forget, Both Law's and Luffy's devil fruits were what the WG wanted THE most.
in the end, I am ok with anyone calling me a nuthead.

no it’s not relevant for the plot. it’s relevant for the idea of Sanji that I have in my head 👍

Joyboy is the responsible for the creation of devil fruits that is why a lot of the powers are ridiculous like the cartoonish powers of nika( yes im looking at you jacket fruit) and why trying to reverse emgineer one and produce a smile can result on a defective one that dont give you powers but make you you laugh forever just like joyboy is alwaus doing on gear 5th also nika fruit is a zoan and luffy used to copy animals maybe every zoan was based on nika fruit and that is why smiles when they go wrong have a nika like side effect

Devil fruits are meta if you think about it
Crackpot theory time!!!
So today I was daydreaming about a fanfic I read while paying my bills (Like an average person) and remembered how it described the X-gene could give mutant powers in Marvel (I swear this will make sense).
In short, the X-gene works like eldritch magic (The Dr. Strange thingy), by basically pulling energy from a random dimension of the multiverse, the human body will proceed to evolve accordingly and maybe get you superpowers and mutant traits (I guess this is how spiderman kinda works as well? don't quote me on that).
Thus, as long as long as you can imagine a superpower, it will exist due to parallel universes being infinite in possibilities. Cool right?
AND THEN IT HIT ME
Vegapunk describes Devil fruits as possible evolutions of humankind being brought by desire (the whole possible/parallel universe/future is kinda similar and my brain made the connection there)
BUT, we can see that with GEAR 5, the superpowers can be a lot more meta in nature, by literally making the reader smile with its silliness :D
So this got me thinking, devil fruits are a manifestation of desire/dreams/wishes right?
In-universe it sounds a bit goofy, one piece kind of goofy though, that, by literally wishing for something to exist, it will manifest itself through sheer willpower (Haki and other shit tends to work like that in this universe, like people becoming more beautiful if they follow their dreams and that stuff)
But from a 'meta' perspective, doesn't this literally mean that any power could manifest itself because it is a shonen manga? that as long as SOMEONE could imagine it, it could become reality by being written in?
If one smoked enough crack, they could even argue that devil fruits have a will of their own because they are being written in with some purpose by the author.
Like, by that logic, of course, Doflamingo got the fruit that let him cage a whole country and control people remotely, its power is literally part of his whole theme as a character and douche bag manipulator!!!
Anyways thank you for coming to my ted talk, I'm gonna proceed to scream into a pillow for a few minutes and then become normal again.

Headcanon - Nico Robin's Outfits
Here's a short one about my favorite One Piece character Nico Robin.
Very simple, we know Robin is a cool, collected academic type, that also secretly likes cute things. She probably developed a love of cute things because she spent most of her childhood on the run, so she didn't have the time to appreciate those things when she was little.
Similarly, I have a personal headcanon / theory about Robin's taste is clothes.
If you don't remember, Robin's homelife in Ohara was a bit miserable. She lived with her uncle and their family, while Oda says the uncle (who was her mother's brother) was kinda nice, it was his wife that could be quite cruel, and they essentially used her like a servant. It's what made her time studying at the Tree of Knowledge extra special, being able to spend her free time doing what she loved.
Just like Cinderella, the family gave Robin the bare essential, including a simple dark purple smock for a dress.
As we know, after the Ohara Incident, young Nico Robin spent the rest of her childhood on the run from the World Government, never knowing who to trust, form connections, or being able to put down roots.
So, I imagine, Robin could often only count on leaving with the clothes on her back. Now that she's got freedom and security, she can indulge with all the luxuries she dreamed of as a little girl, including all the pretty dresses and outfits she could ever want.

luffy’s mom
Echidna... that's a good name for luffy's mom. in greek myth Echidna was the mother of all monsters. the world government would look at luffy like he is a monster, and also his crew as well. so in a way luffy's mom was the mother of these "monsters". But who WAS she? my answer is... a celestial dragon! Monkey D. Dragon would have been 17(i think?), so he would likely have been only a Seaman Recruit marine (yes, i believe that Dragon was a marine, at least before St.Echidna was un-alived) they may have met when the marines that were there got rewards for dealing with Rox, and 1 thing leads to another, now Luffy. And yes i believe that Sun god Luffy was born in the holy-land, and that dragon managed to sneak luffy to Goa

i think the One Piece is Binks' Sake. like what if it's just some cups of sake
i genuinely believe this lol. that's why Roger laughed when he saw it, and why he named the island "Laugh Tale" in honor of the last line of Binks Sake, which his crew was singing as they traveled there. I'm sure there's more to it, and the sake is probably a metaphor for something else, or a symbol that indicates something bigger, but whatever it is that the writers of Binks Sake were delivering, that's the One Piece
presumably there are also things there that reveal the true history of the world, the Will of D, the Void Century, etc. but perhaps the treasure there.... is sake. sake that characters (Joyboy? Binks?) drank to bond with each other, just as Luffy, Ace, and Sabo did
what if the "true dream" that both Luffy and Roger are shown telling people, that we don't get to hear but that we see characters laugh at, with Whitebeard even saying "what are you, a little boy??", is that they want to deliver the sake they heard about in that pirate song, or something similar to that. people laughed when Luffy and Roger told them their dream, and Roger and his crew all laughed when they saw the treasure, and also presumably left something of their own there too
whatever it is, it's something funny. something probably hopeful, symbolic, something that would be underwhelming to anyone just searching for wealth. the reaction upon seeing it is a comedic "Joyboy really had a sense of humor, huh?" from Roger, if i remember correctly
so yeah, what if

Could Kaido’s subjects for the Failed Ancient Giant Experiment were the Great Samurai of Wano?
Trying not to go into One Piece Conspiracy Theorist Mode. But this was pointed out by a fellow OP nerd friend when the chapter came out! Which I forgot about, watching episode 1055, reminded me of this again.
Could Kaido have actually used the The Great Samurai for his giantification experiments?
I mean who could stop him? There must have been criteria that needed to be met— which by logic would be strong willed and people with endurance and of course physical strength!
Who better option than defeated Samurai that they have taken as prisoners? We already know Kaido has a penchant for breaking people’s will power to live by putting them to torture.
Early days post-Oden’s death must’ve been riddled with small sparks of rebellion. And Kaido has mentioned he regretted not beheading Luffy the first time he defeated him, because people like him give hope.
He is ruthless, so it is highly plausible that he decided to put a good use of the rebels and set an example for people burning with desire to avenge or take revenge.
The NUMBERS who survived paid the price, but it either cost them their conscience or dignity or free will— which to be fair Kaido would relish in!

Draw with Me, Jewelry Bonney Water Color | Anime Discussion | One Piece ...
Check out the short version here • Jewelry Bonney WaterColor Art #onepie... Today we are making the most controversial pose or interesting from my pov of Jewelry Bonney and talk about her in the video. Stick with me till the end to see how I try my best to embrace my mistakes of using watercolors. Also, join along with your work as well. Let me know in the comment section your new requests as well. Jewelry Bonney, also known as the "Big Eater", is a South Blue pirate and the Bonney Pirates captain. She is one of twelve pirates who are referred to as the "Worst Generation". Thanks to experiments conducted by Jaygarcia Saturn of the Five Elders, Bonney inherited the powers of the Toshi Toshi no Mi, which allows her to manipulate the age of herself and others at will. Although she typically uses her ability to appear as a young woman in her twenties, Bonney is still a little girl, having been ten years old during her debut and now twelve after the time skip.

Theory: Kuma and Blackbeard have the same type of body
in chapter 1964, Bonnie said Kuma told her he is from a special people. there is various types of people in one piece but one that we still dont know much about is blackbeard and that is something Oda highghted in the story many years ago.
characters said blackbeard has a “strange body”. in this chapter we are told vegapunk was very interested in Kuma’s body.
Kuma and Teach also have a similar appearence.
the 2 characters have a relation to pain. Teach feel more pain than the average person. Kuma is not show to have this effect with pain but he has a devil fruit that let him take and transfer pain. He could be using his devil fruit ability+ his cyborg parts to prevent himself to show the same weakness as Teach
bonus:
maybe Aokiji too. he kinda looks like them. he is powerful we never see him get much attacks. he got closer to teach in recent years ater losing to akainu. a lot of people think blackbeard mistery has something to do with not sleeping aokiji was always napping or at least pretending he was before the timeskip. the reason why vegaounk didnt use his body would be because he didnt allowed probably becase he knew they would use him as a lab rat if he let them study him a little and was in a much better position to refuse than Kuma. but i feel people had more opportunity to talk about his body if there was something unusual about it than kuma and i dont think they did.
