Apparently there's currently discussion in science (humanities in particular) about whether video essays could be accepted as academic writing on par with the academic papers we currently have

I think that's awesome as fuck tbh

I like how for most of DBZ Vegeta is basically “the new guy” of the Z Fighters group. Everyone else just has natural reactions to things that are common knowledge to them but for Vegeta it is all new stuff he’s learning and has to roll with it like:

Goku, Gohan & Krillin: Frieza doesn’t know that there’s a password to use on the dragon balls, he probably thought he’d just automatically get his wish granted when he collects all 7 lol what an idiot.

Vegeta:

Or how for the androids saga everyone was surprised that they are connected to the Red Ribbon Army, an organization the Z Fighters are very familiar with, meanwhile there’s Vegeta with no history or knowledge of the RRA and does not care. He just wants to beat up some robots. Or even the world martial arts tournaments, the Buu saga was his introduction to this tradition while for pretty much everyone else it was nostalgia to their younger days.
