I'm back home from Turku where I went to my third Käärijä gig with my brother. We got an amazing spot from the fifth row in the middle: I was surprised by this because we didn't get the queuing numbers and queued overall like 45 minutes? I stayed at that spot for the rest of the night, but unfortunately my brother went to the bar before Kä's part and didn't get back to me.

The highlights... The harness ruined me. I got baptized with the holy water of Jeresus TWICE. Häärijä stared at me intensively during the first chorus of Mic Mac and it was so fucking weird. Hearing Huhhahhei for the first time live (it slapped so hard). The love and shouts Jesse and the Daltons received from the audience. Just Jere being himself.

Once again I didn't take any photos/videos because I just wanted to party, sing and shout. Afterwards my voice was so hoarse and my feet hurt like hell. When we left Logomo I started to sob because I was so tired and HAPPY. My brother (who isn't even a casual Käärijä fan) admitted that he found Kä a great entertainer and that he now understands why I love to go to his gigs so much.

On my way home I listened to the Gogin kantabaari podcast and I giggled, got teary-eyed and smiled so much that my cheeks hurt. And now I really need a nap so that I manage to watch Linnan juhlat later in the evening.

The next time for me will be the Böle Arena gig in May: the wait seems so long but I try to be patient. Besides, I'm going to the Joker Out gig in 2/3/2024 and maybe, just maybe Jere could make a guest appearance there? But honestly, I won't mind if he just meets the guys offstage: I'm so excited about the gig itself because it will be my first time seeing JO live.

"The Moomin Theater performed the puppet play Onnellinen Muumiperhe in 1958. The puppets were designed by Elisabeth Ollinen, but their heads are Jansson's handiwork. The heads were sculpted by Tove Jansson's mother Signe Hammarsten-Jansson and painted by Tove herself."

Ruotsi ja Venäjä taistelivat tästä maasta satoja vuosia välittämättä suomalaisista siviileistä.

Tämä tarkoitti lukemattomia verilöylyjä, sotia, epäoikeudenmukaisuuksia. Se tarkoitti sortoa.

Me selvisimme siitä. Me saimme vapauden

Mutta mitä olemme nyt? Mitä olemme tehneet tällä vapaudella? Millainen valtio meillä on?

Valtio, joka syrjii alkuperäiskansojaan, sekä saamelaisia, että karjalan kieltä puhuvia vähemmistöjä.

Valtio, joka huolimatta siitä, että se selvisi imperialistisen valloitusyrityksen viimeisen sadan vuoden aikana

Ei silti suostu tuomitsemaan imperialistista, kolonialistista kansanmurhaa kun sitä tekee liittolaisemme Israel Palestiinalaisia vastaan.

Ruutu 7:

Olemme muuttuneet sorretuista osallisiksi.

Sortajiksi.

Miten tämä on valtio jota voin juhlia? Mitä itsenäisyys tarkoittaa nyt?

Ruutu 8:

Tulen aina olemaan onnellinen että olemme itsenäisiä. Se on etuoikeus. Tulen aina olemaan onnellinen että selvisimme.

Mutta en voi olla ylpeä niin pitkään kun kieltäydymme käyttämästä vapauttamme tekemään sitä mikä on oikein. Niin pitkään kun suljemme silmämme.

Ruutu 9:

Meidän pitää muistaa kuinka voimattomia olimme kerran. Meidän pitää käyttää voimaamme nyt.

Eikä hyväksyä asioita jotka kerran tehtiin meille kun ne tapahtuvat muille.
