No, more seriously, I'm fine. I'm thinking about my OCs while absent-mindedly watching the Olympics (fem handball).

I'm slightly annoyed at my brother being so bad at lying I'm not sure I could cover for him (and if I don't he will get mad, because he has his gf over and was only supposed to pass by, not come over).

That question made me kinda confused. Cuz, I want to have a repressed & emotionally aware dynamic between two OCs (namely Hector and Axel), and I thought that if asked that question, the repressed guy would either lie and say "Yes" or admit he doesn't know, and not provide much more info that some vague allusions to emotions he's having. The emotionally aware guy would similarly either lie ("I'm fine"), be closed off ("Why do you want to know?"), or say "I don't know..." and starts yapping off his ass expressing his emotions, that he has "a tinge of frustration" pinpointing lesser-known sentiments he's experiencing, and be able to attribute most of them to events and stuff as he goes, like he needs to quickly think about it, like a long-time therapy patient explaining how they are, unguided, while the other character would really need to be navigated through his emotions.

and I don't think I have reached quite that level of emotional awareness. like, I can thinking of the happiness and state of relaxation and the frustration like mentioned earlier, a feeling of having few intimacy and freedom because he has his gf over, and the looming pressure of relaxing instead of jobhunting, which, while I understand the need of resting, I will have to lie through to make sure I don't get berated.

there's a whole plotline thing in lover boy about how bobby journaled and beau really wants to read them because obviously he wants to absorb every piece of bobby that's left behind from when he was alive and also spend more time with the parts of him that beau never saw....but he's conflicted because that was bobby's private space so even though its a limited chance to experience a new part of his friend he doesn't know if he should invade that or why he feels entitled to it now just because bobby is gone....its about the conflicts of grief and how we treat a person after they have passed....however realistically what is going to happen is beau will open the journal after going back and forth because he expects to see something really personal and not for other people's eyes but knowing bobby it will just be some shit like this
