Toby Bear was a sidekick to Oswald the Lucky Rabbit during the Walt Disney era that continued on into the Walter Lantz era. He existed in the comic era when Oswald actually looked like a rabbit, but was mostly replaced by the kids, Floyd & Lloyd. Rosabelle was a potential love interest for Oswald the Lucky Rabbit in the story Spring Fever in Four Color #225 Dell 1949.  Rosabelle is Oswald's new neighbor who Oswald has a crush on. Floyd and Lloyd Rabbit are unhappy with this development so they get Toby Bear to trick Oswald into taking an ocean cruise. At the end of the story, Rosabelle introduces Floyd and Lloyd to her nieces, May and June. (Not to be confused with Daisy Duck's nieces April, May and June.)
