Transmasculine Resources (Incomplete)
Transmasculine, sometimes abbreviated to transmasc, is an umbrella term that describes a transgender person... whose gender is masculine and/or who express themselves in a masculine way. Transmasculine people feel a connection with masculinity, but do not always identify as male.

Please note that many definitions of 'transmasculine' tend to include being assigned female at birth (AFAB) but this is not a requirement in many spaces. Also keep in mind that the person posting this is technically transmasculine and has taken steps to physically transition in a masculine way, though ey does not consider emself to be transmasc. ⚡

(Please note that I am a stranger on the internet. I can't and shouldn't offer to give you rides to "go camping". Additionally, I cannot find you resources on giving yourself an abortion because I am not educated enough on the methods being suggested. I encourage you to support abortion funds, volunteer for pro-choice groups in your area, keep sharing information as much as you can, keep track of what others are doing to help the cause, and support those in your life who have been affected by this issue. ⚡)

How to Make a Difference
► Become a Problem-Solver
Focus on the needs of members within your community.
- We as activists often try to take on way more than we can handle. Start small and direct your attention to those around you.
Think of your own needs as a member of the community.
- As a member of a marginalized community, consider what kind of issues you yourself deal with. Know that others just like you have the same needs.
Use whatever skills you have to be helpful.
- Are you good with people? Do you know how to share information around on the internet? Are you particularly knowledgeable in a specific issue? Use what you know and can do, no matter how small, to help the cause.
Offer insight into what can be done about an issue.
- Never point out problems without offering a solution.
► Be Critical, But Not Reactionary
Listen to the voices of marginalized people.
- No one wants to feel talked over or ignored in their own communities. Consider how loud your own voice is.
Know how to recognize microaggressions.
- They’re called microaggressions for a reason, and it’s not always apparent that they’re happening. Recognize not the tone of someone’s language, but the nuance of it.
Boost other people's voices while avoiding platforming bigots.
- If you see someone being bigoted, don’t give them undeserved attention. Instead, retaliate with informed points on why the bigotry is wrong. Educate others and boost the voices of those who need to be heard.
Consider your own privilege.
- Privilege is complex and it isn’t always black and white. Some people are privileged in specific ways while they are marginalized in others. Consider what privileges you have that others in your community don’t and use that as a way to help people.
