Who was the first person you saw? It was my dad. I fell asleep in the living room last night and he was the first person to go downstairs.

Who was the first person who called you? I have not received any call today so far and I’m not expecting any to come through today, a Sunday.

Who was the first person you called? I haven’t called anyone, either. The closest is an eyewear store I messaged on Messenger just a few minutes ago to ask if they accept walk-ins, since I didn’t know they’ve mostly taken appointments throughout the pandemic. If they don’t, I’ll have to wait until Thursday to get a check-up.

What was the first thing you did? I was mad at myself for falling asleep early last night and kinda wasting my weekend, so the second I opened my eyes I got up and looked for a survey to answer, lol.

What'd you have for breakfast? Fried rice, eggs, hotdogs, kikiam, and danggit, with crab paste.

Lunch? Skipped lunch as always since we have late breakfast. I might make coffee.

Dinner? I’m still indecisive on whether I’ll have dinner at home or somewhere outside. In any case, I can’t tell what I’ll be eating just yet.

Who'd you hang out with? I’ll be just by myself today.

What'd you do? I plan on taking a couple more surveys after this. I also wanna do some work ahead of tomorrow and watch the newest episode of 2 Days 1 Night as well.

Favorite song you heard? I am finding Ravi and Lee Naeun’s Rain Drop preeeeeeetty catchy.

Did you see anyone you hadn't seen in awhile? Not today. But last Friday this was the case as I saw Al, Pia, Kyelle, Gab, and Sam for the very first time in well over a year. Angela and Hans were part of the group as well but we were able to see each other during the holidays.

Thing you ate? The last spoonful of my rice, which I think I topped with the last of my egg and hotdog.

Movie you saw? Midsommar, I think. Last Christmas. I don’t watch a lot of movies anymore.

Girl you hugged? Angela. We saw each other for like, 15 seconds yesterday afternoon so that she could return the abaca mat I lent her for her graduation shoot.

Guy you hugged? I believe it was Hans, when we were saying bye last Friday. If not him, it would have been Al.

Family member you hugged? No idea. Maybe an aunt.

Type of soda you drank? I don’t drink any softdrinks. I did drink red wine that turned out to be carbonated last Valentine’s Day, though.

Flavor of gum you chewed? It’s a gimmick-y kind of gum that is extremely sour when you first pop it in your mouth; but once you start chewing it the sourness dies down and it goes back to the classic bubblegum taste.

Time you brushed your teeth? Last night.

Time you showered? Midnight yesterday when I got home from the aforementioned hangout with friends. I wasn’t able to take a shower yesterday because it had been freezing cold all day, but I plan on having one today.

Time you rode in the car? Yesterday when I drove out of the village to briefly meet up with Angela.

Word you said? Not sure; maybe just a ‘hi’? I greet my dogs a lot.

Person you talked on the phone to? My mom called me last night to tell me dinner was ready.

Time you cried? Genuinely no clue. I’d say a couple or even several weeks ago.

Currently:

Wearing? I have on an olive green sleveeless turtleneck top, and a pair of shorts.

Eating? None at the moment but I do feel like munching on something. Salted egg chips sound amazing right now, actually.

Drinking? Nothing, but I am in the mood for coffee.

Thinking? What else I can do today to maximize what’s left of my weekend.

Friends:

Last friend's house you stayed at? Eugh, I think it had still been Gabie’s. I haven’t stayed at anyone else’s place during the pandemic so far; I’ve driven by Angela’s house briefly a couple of times, though. Mostly to just like return stuff or hand her a gift.

Last friend who stayed at your house? Angela and Hans.

Who has the coolest siblings? Probably Rita. All her siblings have got their own things and gigs and passions going on and I find that awesome. Of course, their family is filthy, old-money rich so their parents have more than enough money to let them sustain their hobbies, so I guess that’s a crucial factor in this too. But even then, they’re all humble and insanely nice so they’re still cool lol.

Who's an only child? Angela, Jo, Luisa, and I think Blanch??

Who have you gone on the most trips with? I don’t go on many trips with friends.

Who's met your family? Angela, and because of that one time my orgmates held a meeting at my house - Kate, Patrice, Jo, Jane, Aya, JM, and Edi.

Family:

Who's the craziest? There’s honestly a lot of chaos on my mom’s side, tbh. There’s past and current animosities, land issues, and general attitude problems among many of them. Of course, they try to hide it from the younger generation and everyone puts disagreements behind them during family gatherings; but the older I’ve gotten, the more my mom has let me in to some of the stories. That said, I can’t tell you who would be the craziest of them all.

Sanest? [is that a word] I would trust one of my aunts with my whole life, if it comes down to it. She has such a warm personality, is an amazing and sweet mom, and talking to her has always felt like talking to an old college friend that you’re having drinks with. I feel like I should do more for her as her niece, but yeah, I love her a lot.

Loudest? I will happily refer you to the entirety of my mom’s side, again. Everyone’s mode of communication seems to be yelling.

Lives the farthest away? Everyone who lives in the US.

Who do you live with? Both of my parents and my two siblings.

Has the most dogs? My dad’s immediate family, from whom Kimi actually came. There’s two dogs I can play with whenever we visit - Spike and Gucci - then they also have several other dogs but they aren’t too guest-friendly.

Has the most cats? My mom’s sister-in-law used to have like, 3 or 4 cats but I’m not sure if they’re still alive.

Has the most cars? I’m not sure. Most seem to have 1-3 which is the average for families anyway.

What color are your shoelaces? I’m not wearing any shoes at the moment.

Describe your sunglasses: I don’t own any.

Song you listened to last is...? Some jazz-y coffee shop-y tune I heard on YouTube.

Do you have a digital camera? Not anymore. I just use my phone to take photos.

What's the last type of cookie you ate? It had coffee and dark chocolate in it, but I can’t exactly remember what the name of the product is anymore.

Do you have your own computer? I have my own laptop. I never had a computer; I just went straight to having a laptop.

Describe your computer chair? I never had a computer chair per se but my work chair is nothing fancy, it’s just a plastic black chair that my parents bought initially just so that I had somewhere to sit on for my internship at my now-employer. Eventually I didn’t like how I was working in my room because I stopped being able to separate my personal life and my work life, so I’ve been working at the dining table these days.

Why is it called a computer chair anyways? I didn’t know this was a term, actually. I usually just keep hearing gaming chair.

What do you call the remote for the TV? Remote control, or sometimes just remote.

Do you have a crush on anyone? Nope.

What's on your walls? A few posters and wall decors. Some paintings from Gab towards which I have zero feelings or attachment anymore but I feel too lazy to take down.

Do you sleep with your door open or closed? Closed. It would be impossible for me to fall asleep otherwise.

Can you fall asleep with the TV on? Sure, but the program has to be something I was watching to begin with so I can be lulled to sleep. If it’s a show about something I don’t find interesting, I might just find it as noise.

What is the last book you read? I don’t know.

What's your least favorite class? I don’t go to school anymore but in my final semester I hated my business writing class. I hated all my journalism classes, actually; but it was business writing that made me feel the most nervous.

Are you cold? I’m just right. It’s chilly enough not to need the fan, but I’m not shivering either.

Where are you? I’m in the living room.

What is touching your foot? The couch.

3 Golden Rules.

On Ethical disappointments.

I was raised to be tolerant. To consider the views and opinions of others, to keep and open mind. I was a social outsider (homeschooled due to racism in the local school.) I vowed I wouldn’t ever exclude people for being different to me or having different values. I was desperate to make and keep friends. More than anything.

I was 15 in the late 1990s. Lonely as hell. I decided that I would befriend absolutely anyone who would have me. Essentially anyone who wouldn’t beat me up on sight for being foreign.

I decided that I had 3 and only 3 dealbreakers in terms of friendship.

RULE 1. They couldn’t be cruel to animals.

RULE 2. They coudn’t sexually abuse children.

RULE 3 They couldn’t be a card carrying Nazi.

If anyone in my life did any of those things I couldn’t associate with them anymore. But barring that I would try to accept them as individuals.

Thats a pretty low bar right? I mean how could anyone fail to meet those insanely low standards?

See back then I didn’t know that shades of grey existed. I knew in theory that we were all imperfect beings, but I didn’t know what that meant yet in reality.

So I began to make friends. With normal kids. Actually probably nicer than average kids because they were sweet and sensitive enough to accept me for who I was when no one else would.

So the first hurdle I came across was that some of these people I was friends with enjoyed hunting. They would say for meat. I get that. Better than factory farming right? less cruel, less wasteful.

“You shouldn’t eat meat unless you’re willing to kill it yourself” They’d say virtuously.

But then I saw them in action. Delighting in the act of killing in a way that I knew wasn’t healthy. Laughing at the kid goat’s head bursting in a shower of gore or the way an animal screamed upon being shot. Killing more than they needed… That’s an impulse I don’t believe humans should engender in themselves.

But it was for food. Right? So I overlooked it and silenced the voice in my heart.

One day my best friend shot a stray cat with his bb gun just for the laugh. It didn’t kill the cat or anything but the animal yelped and ran away. I was so upset and shocked that I burst into tears and it all came pouring out. Was he training himself to become a sociopath? I asked him.

He apologised. He never did anything like it again. He was very kind to animals, especially cats, ever since and doesn’t hunt them anymore for any reason.

I forgave.

That’s the first time I remember compromising a core value. It was like a tooth being pulled from my 15 year old head.

I don’t regret it.

We’re still best friends.

The second hurdle that started to crack my young heart was the undeniable fact that in the early 2000s almost every guy I knew in his early 20s had a girlfriend between that ages of 12 and 15. NEVER OLDER. I can’t stress this enough. They would vomit in disgust at the thought of a crone of 18 or 19. They were also VERY vocal about their desire and right to have sex with children after a few drinks. By the time I was 20 I knew I had aged out of the 20s dating pool. I wasn’t attracted to older men.

No matter. I’m asexual and prefer platonic relationships anyway.

To this day I’ve never had a romantic relationship with a man. Because once I realised that Rule 2 wasn’t one any of them could keep, the trust was broken.

It wasn’t only men either. My closest girlfriend was a 26 year old substitute teacher who fucked one of her 15 year old students on a drunk night out once…

So they both had fun and boys that age are up for anything right? I mean. He probably still boasts about it today…

Right?

Plus… She was all I had. Like the only one I had at the time. I was so scared of losing her.

I turned a blind eye and ear. I tolerated. I didn’t have to approve of their teenage girlfriends did I? After all there were so many of them that if I cut them out of my life I’d have no friends ever again. Because the whole of society looked like them…

Thats the truth.

People in my extended family have dated 17 or 18 year old girls and encouraged them to drop out of school to have their children. People I love have done that.

I once knew a handsome, intelligent and charming man. He was dating a family member for a few months. He often defended the right of adult men to date teens. “Girls mature more quickly than boys.” He’d argue. Everyone would agree. After all hadn’t my great grandmother been 12 years old when she met my great grandfather and married him on her 16th birthday (with parental permission)? He was in his 20s. Just a boy himself surely? “We all know what children boys in their 20s are right?” Said my Mother… Whom I love very much.

Excuses were made.

Years later I discovered the the handsome, intelligent and charming man had been raping a 6 year old the entire time we’d known him. He is still wanted by the police today.

My father tells that when he was a boy of 18 back in the 70s he had kicked an older German man, a respected family friend, out of his car because the man had asked him to pull over, he had something important to tell him. When he did so, the man said that the Holocaust was a myth. An exaggeration, a Zionist hoax.

My Father was dating my mother at the time. She’s Jewish. So is his uncle, a Holocaust survivor.

He yelled at the man not to talk shit and made him walk home.

I am not my father.

The first time a Holocaust denier (a respected local businessman) voiced their opinion to me I froze. Then laughed. Surely he must be kidding... I argued briefly before realising that he’d made up his mind.

My well meaning people said I’d made a mistake. It was my job, they said, to change his mind. To educate him. Otherwise how would he learn?

I didn’t speak to him again but I still nod at him in the street because he employs a few of my friends and I wouldn’t want to make things awkward for them.

And also I don’t want him to yell at me.

I have worked with Holocaust survivors and have survivors in my immediate family and I still nod in the street at a Holocaust Denier because we are raised to be polite aren’t we? Let’s not make a scene.

We’re mature adults.

Aren’t we?

People are starting to turn weirder than they used to be. Politically.

My Leftist friends are in a secret facebook group... Strenuously defending China’s Uyghur genocide because Communism can do no wrong… And at the same time saying all the Israelis need to be killed for what they’ve done to the Palestinians. One suggests a biological weapon tailored to Jews.

My Centrist friends are suggesting we “Hang up democracy for a while” in order to combat global warming and welcome a global police state and stop “kicking off” about our rights all the time. “Maybe we need a jackboot up the arse” one of them says.

And the ones that aren’t on the Left?

My facebook feed these days is getting awfully full of Rothschild memes.

“We own every bank in the world and funded both sides of every war since Waterloo.” They say, next to a grinning caricature of Jacob de Rothschild. Reminiscent of a Nazi cartoon of a “Rat Jew.”

Even a hedge fund billionaire prick doesn’t deserve that, does he?

I don’t comment. What’s the point? They’ve watched all the youtube and don’t read history books on principal.

My Brother is getting into Qanon. So is my Sister in Law.

She follows the medical teachings of a man who thinks the Jews invented Chemotherapy to kill the Germans after the war. Apparently he is becoming more and more popular.

Eccentrics.

Thats all.

One of the Survivors I know said that 3 weeks after the Nazi propaganda came into the school he attended, he was in Bergen Belsen and half his family was dead.

His neighbour was jealous because his father had 2 more cows than he did.

I hear Marine Le Pen is neck and neck with Macron to win France.

A good friend of mine said it's because by 2030 Muslims will outnumber white people in Europe. He won’t read the articles I send him. But he sure sends me a lot of YouTubes.

I ignore them because I don’t want to hate him. Maybe he ignores my articles for the same reason.

RWBY7 Soundtrack

Should I be reviewing/giving my thoughts on the OST when I have plenty of asks in my inbox to answer and have no musical authority at all? No, probably not. Am I doing it anyway? Yes.

This is just going to be in what (I assume) is the track order. Let me know if I miss any; I’m going off a YouTube playlist.

1. Trust Love

Initial thoughts: Eh.

It’s okay. It’s not my favorite opening, that honor goes to When It Falls, but it’s competent. Very optimistic, which is a trend for this volume’s soundtrack despite how dire the tone of the latter half is, so I don’t think it fully fits the volume it opens for, but it’s by no means a bad song. It’s easy to sing along and bop to, just doesn’t seem as impressive as the other opening songs. It feels like a different sort of sound than what RWBY songs have been in the past, which is also a running theme for the OST this volume - new artists singing, a lot of experimentation in the style. That’s not a bad thing; the tracks I like the most on this album are the different sounding ones, but it’s very.... noticeable, and didn’t go in the direction you would think for Atlas.

2. Touch the Sky

Initial Thoughts: Why is the best part of this song the ending?

No, but seriously, that outro is a very different sound to the proceeding song and it’s so good. Other than that, I’ve got questions. Like, whose song is this? I’m leaning towards Team RWBY as a whole, but I’ve seen people suggest it’s Weiss’s, it’s Blake’s, I could see an argument for Yang - it’s very unclear. Also, why is the POV character(s) so happy? Their situation isn’t all that much better in terms of Salem and the Relic and all that; they should still be weighed down with that knowledge, shouldn’t they? They don’t trust Ironwood to help make things all better, they still have to carry the Relic (for plot reasons), the only thing that’s changed is that they’re going out on missions. Well, fresh clothes and a distraction are always nice, and it is a chance to put all that stuff on the back burner. I’ll give them that, then.

3. Brand New Day

Initial Thoughts: From the writers that make every Blake song a duet, here’s her volume 7 song; a duet with.... Qrow?

Have Blake and Qrow ever even spoken to each other? And, is there actually no solo Blake song, or am I beating on a dead meme? Actually, to be completely serious, these two actually work well in a song together. Their character directions compliment each other in this volume - both trying to reinvent themselves some and become better (Blake with her new hair and outfits, Qrow with a new outfit and a resolve to recover from alcoholism), it’s just a shame that, you know, this kind of talk or relationship never happens in the show. At all.

Someone in the YouTube comment section said this song sounds like a 90′s sitcom opening, and I have to agree. It really does, mixed with a bit of 50′s doo-wap. It’s not bad, I actually like the doo-wap, but it also has bits of the usual RWBY style rock, and they don’t mix as coherently as I would like in some places. The guitar bridge after Qrow’s verse is pretty nice, though.

Overall, it’s another good song to bop along to, but like the songs before it, I’m not sure it’s one I’ll be listening to over and over.

4. Let’s Get Real

Initial Thoughts: So, even the song thinks they should talk - why didn’t they?

Here’s something you may not know about me. I don’t romantically ship Renora. I’ve always preferred them as a brother/sister pair - probably in part because I’m a sucker for found family. I’ve never really had anything against romantic Renora, though... but this volume definitely made me go from neutral to dislike. Ren’s confused, he’s worried, he’s having doubts about their relationship that he’s not sure how to vocalize. He admits as much. And instead of, I don’t know, respecting that and letting it be for the moment, or pulling him aside to try and help him talk it through, she... kisses him. Instead of stopping to let them work through where their relationship is at the present (which would be nice, to clue the audience in on what exactly their status is), she pushes their relationship to the next level, presumably. It leaves a very bad taste in my mouth, that Ren’s emotions about his relationship with Nora are just shoved aside and aren’t brought up again. Hopefully it does in the next volume (Nora and Ren are notably split for, like, the first time ever in the Volume 8 preview), but still - I thought Tumblr had decided that “guy shuts a girl up by kissing her” trope was sexist or something - shouldn’t this be similarly scrutinized?

Putting that aside, I actually really really like this. It’s very reminiscent of Shine, but a Renora version; it’s got a great beat, the lyrics do a great job in character insight (something I love from RWBY songs, which are probably why Touch the Sky doesn’t do a lot for me), and it’s just a very fun, peppy song. It also feels very at home in Atlas with it’s more techno-leanings. The ending chorus chant of “Is it love?” is also a nice touch.

5. Celebrate

Initial Thoughts: The better Brand New Day (musically speaking).

And by that I mean, it leans all the way into this different style than the half/half approach Brand New Day did, and it’s all the better for it. Once again, another good dancing song, easy to listen and bop to, but it feels... oddly generic. For one thing, there’s no character tied to it, no character insight - I guess you could make an argument for Robin or the Happy Huntresses, but... not really? For another, while as a song I really enjoy the genre of music, it also makes it feel very much not like a RWBY song (something not helped by name-dropping Vegas). It’s fun, but it doesn’t feel like it adds much to the show.

6. War

Initial Thoughts: Wow, I didn’t think you could make me hate the AceOps fight more, but look at that.

Probably the first RWBY song I just flat out hate, and that’s a crying shame considering the excellent music and vocal performances. Those lyrics, though. Just - I hate them. I hate them so damn much. I refuse to give this song more than that.

7. Hero

Initial thoughts: Hell yeah hell yeah hell yeah HELL YEAH -

Best song on the album probably. It has all the usual RWBY flare, gives us a great insight into Ironwood’s thoughts and motivations, and is a fantastic performance by Caleb Hyles. The operatic section at the beginning is wonderfully chilling, and the rock section is very epic. 10/10 song even though I’m not rating these.

8. Until the End

Initial thoughts: Time to play “Who does this gorgeous song belong to?”

Actually, I really, really enjoy this song. It’s creepy in its melancholy, but I love it for that. The piano and subtle strings are beautiful, and the way Casey’s voice echoes gives the illusion of solitude in an empty place, perfect for the tone this song conveys.

Now, the matter of whose song it is. The consensus seems to be Ruby and/or Summer, and that’s pretty likely (and letting Ruby actually have a song would be nice). However, I heard a rumor before the album dropped that this was an Ozpin song, and going through it with that lens makes a whole lot of sense - the repeated “I’ll be here until the end”, the constant use of “we”, “our” and other plurals, the lines “ In waves of shame, we’re desperate to make amends / But through a simple soul, we lie complacent” could refer to him lying dormant in Oscar or other souls in the past instead of actively working to defeat Salem, and in the lines “ As light fills my eyes / I’ll picture me beside her / And pray that I’ll inspire”, it could be him thinking of Salem when he dies, and then praying that he’ll be able to inspire others to fight for humanity, for the light.

I could see it either way, honestly, but no matter which it is, I love this song.

9. Fear

Initial thoughts: Fire whoever was in charge of sound mixing, otherwise, not as preachy as I was fearing.

This is actually the first time I’ve listened to this. I was pretty pissed at the ending of the finale so I didn’t stick around for the credits, and hearing that it was called “Fear”, I was not in the mood for more Ironwood bashing or “You’re just as bad as she is if you act in fear” or whatever BS Oscar said. So, yeah, wasn’t looking forward to this track.

Thankfully, though, it was not another War. I actually enjoyed the lyrics, and the music was top-notch. Don’t really have much more to say about it other than it was difficult to hear the lyrics over the music in some places, but that could be a factor of the video I was listening to. All in all, pleasantly surprised.

10. I May Fall (Acoustic)

Initial Thoughts: Can someone tell the Williams that “acoustic” doesn’t always mean “depressing?”

Like, acoustic doesn’t have to be a super slow, piano/strings, somber rendition, right? It’s just the instruments and the singer without any added computer editing/layering/whatever, if I’m not mistaken. That style of acoustic works alright with songs like Time to Say Goodbye, but not so well with more upbeat songs. This version isn’t bad, per se, but I’d like to see an acoustic version more in line with the original.

That aside - the original I May Fall is my favorite RWBY song, bar none. This rendition was always going to be something I liked, and I do appreciate a lot about it. The strings are absolutely beautiful, particularly the cello(? I think, again, I’m not much of a music person, just have a sister that plays violin), and I love the way the violin/viola picks up for the second verse and gives the song a second wind, implying more strength and resolve. I love the music cutting out completely to let Casey sing, with the instruments slowly coming in to join as she gets louder and stronger, as if standing with her - beautiful, it’s all insanely beautiful, and this is one I will probably buy.

Closing Thoughts

This album was... average, to me. Only a couple songs really jumped out at me, while most were good, but not something I was dying to listen to again, or were dragged down by the context.

In Windows on your Mac, do one of the following:

Restart using Startup Manager: Restart your Mac, then immediately press and hold the Option key. When the Startup Manager window appears, release the Option key, select your macOS startup disk, then press Return.

If you’re using a Mac notebook computer with an external keyboard, make sure you press and hold the Option key on the built-in keyboard.

Restart using Boot Camp Control Panel: Click in the right side of the taskbar, click the Boot Camp icon , then choose Restart in macOS.

This also sets the default operating system to macOS.

Are mom crushes a thing?

The list of how Jordan has transformed my life as a productive mama is quite long actually. Needless to say, I was ecstatic when I was able to become an affiliate for her programs. What Is Productivity Boot Camp

Jordan launched Productivity Boot Camp in 2018 after getting so many questions about her productivity goddess-like qualities. She balances six kids, a super successful business, church life, home life, and more and still looks fabulous. So what exactly is her secret?

Productivity Boot Camp is a place where Jordan breaks down all of her tips and tricks into a six-week course. There are 28 videos and three bonus interview videos. The videos average about 15 minutes long, with a few being over 40 minutes. I tackled the longer videos in chunks or while doing laundry.

This program is great for moms of all kind – working moms, stay at home moms, work at home moms. The course is marketed towards anyone, though (which I have issues with, but more on that later on).

The Amazing – Pros of PBC

1. High Energy and Motivating

Every one of Jordan’s videos is high energy and motivating. If you love Jordan’s teaching style, then you will love going on this journey with her. After watching the first video, I was excited to start getting my schedule under control.

2. Easy to Follow Format

I love how she breaks down each course by week. The first two weeks require a little more viewing time and homework, but they are truly worth it. Trying to implement the block schedule into your life is also hard at first, but once you get the hang of it, it is addicting to get more things done each day.

3. It Works

I have read a lot of productivity books, probably more than the average person. This course gave new strategies and some that I have heard before, but the difference is that I was better prepared to use Jordan’s strategies. Most productivity books are written by men who have wives that take care of all the things, so it is hard to take their advice. Jordan is just like us and shows us how to get things done.

The Meh – Cons of PBS

1. The Planner

Update – June 26th, 2020: Jordan listened and rolled out her very own Productivity Planners that can be purchased separately. They make up for the planners that come with the course. I will give a full review and walkthrough of this soon.

I love Jordan’s spreadsheet for the block scheduling, but personally, I found the productivity planner to be disappointing. I was really hoping for something I could use every day to keep me on top of all the things.

Instead, most of the pages are cute, glorified notetaking paper. I would have liked to see more planning pages to go with systems and routines that can make your days run smoother.

2. The Free Youtube Videos

I was also a little annoyed when there were similar videos posted on Youtube that discussed some key points in the course. The course still offers so much more value than those free videos, but it does cheapen the experience for the paid user.

3. Not Enough Specific Info

This might be too selfish to ask, but I do wish there was just more in Productivity Boot Camp. There is already so much content – probably three hours’ worth of advice. I guess I wish there was more direct info for working moms, since she tries to keep the course general to all – even singletons in college.

She does so much work and success building while raising her family, and I just wish she spoke more on the specifics of that instead of trying to make the content fit anyone. Here’s to hoping she adds more modules!

My Results – Spoiler Alert – I Wrote Two Books with a Newborn

Update – June 26, 2020: I still use and love Jordan’s Productivity Bootcamp even two years later! I have written a few more books and faithfully maintained client work all while homeschooling two girls and surviving toddlerhood with my third. It’s not always pretty or perfect, but I do feel productive most days!

I started going though the course the first time when I was pregnant with my third baby girl. I was able to start implementing Jordan’s strategies right away. It is the funniest thing. After a week, I was so on top of my schedule that I didn’t know what to do with myself by the time the afternoon blocks came.

The system had helped me stay on top of my cleaning, get ahead of my freelance work, and finish homeschool lessons for the day before noon. The nesting phase hormones definitely helped.

Now that baby is here, I feel like I need to go through all of the courses again to get back on a productive schedule. I have been implementing Jordan’s advice half-heartedly since the baby arrived (mostly because baby’s schedules change like 20 times before year one- ha). Even without being 100% back on the system, my life is still functioning at a productive level.

I am still able to have a clean house 70% of the time, stay on top of freelance work, homeschool, and devote hours into blog writing and book writing. I even wrote two children’s books since baby girl was born. What?!

So, Is It Worth the Price Tag?

Short answer – yes! Long answer to follow:

I have taken a lot of courses online – mostly for business growth rather than personal growth like this one. However, all of the courses do not hold a candle to Productivity Boot Camp in regards to quality. The videos and set up of the course are superior. Usually courses are either a bunch of text or dolled up slideshow presentations. Optical character recognition download for mac os.

Every one of Jordan’s 31 videos (this counts the bonus videos) in this course are of her talking directly to you and are edited professionally. This might not seem like a big deal to those use to her high-quality Youtube videos, but it is a rarity in the course world.

When I evaluate if something is worth the price tag, I measure it in future value. You see, $149, and even the sale price of the course is a lot of money to spend on something digital especially when so much of the digital content we consume is free.

However, when I feel like I am drowning in chaos and can’t get anything done, I am guilty of spending money on temporary bandages. I think a house cleaner, food service/fast food, or laundry service is my solution to getting back on track.

While those things aren’t bad, they don’t fix the root of the problem – my dysfunctional system.

I felt like this course was like having a personal coach guide me through each step of areas in my life that needed a change up. The course is more valuable than having a cleaning lady or getting those meal boxes delivered. Why? Because it sticks around.

How Much Does Bootcamp For Mac Cost

I can’t even tell you how many times I have hired a cleaning lady for $150 only to have the house look like a tornado in three days. Now that is depressing! When I am dedicated to Jordan’s strategies, I don’t feel the need for a cleaning lady or meal delivery service because I am no longer living in a state of chaos and meal planning and cleaning no longer seem like unbearable weights.

What’s Your Time Worth?

My time is worth anywhere from $50-100 an hour, so if I am able to save five hours a week or have five free hours a week to take on a $100-per-hour client, then the cost is worth it. That is exactly what I was able to do.

What do you think your time is worth? Even if you think your time is only worth minimum wage (your time is so much more valuable than that!), your initial investment will pay off quickly. If you followed Jordan’s tips to the letter and saved yourself two hours per week, at $12/hour, you would have made back the course in less than nine weeks. I believe you will save even more time than that each week, and you will have extra time to pursue hobbies or your side business. Win-win!

Not only will you save time but you will start to carve the life you want to live. None of us want to run around crazily thinking about dinner prep and kids and 5 million other things all the time. This course will help you manage your time better and relieve the pressure of trying to do everything at once.

Request: Cas x reader where the reader teaches Cas how to do pick up lines on girls because he asked her for help and she's totally happy for him and he ends up doing them on her and she gets emotional and Cas gets confused as to why she's crying

You had a thing for the Angel that hunted with you. You’ve had a thing for him for quite some time now but you never made a move because why would he be interested in you? You were just an average human and he was an Angel of the Lord. He was beautiful, smart, strong and just about everything you wanted in a man.

Cas, on the other hand liked you too, but he never knew how to act around you. He didn’t know how you were feeling and he didn’t know how to act on his feelings to get you to notice him. He tried going to Dean but all he suggested was to kiss you and bring you to bed.

Sam had advised him to be himself, which he appreciated and tried doing. But he was already himself around you and he thought it wasn’t working. He needed another plan to get you to notice him because he was going to ask you out... eventually.

You were in the library, playing on your laptop when Castiel walked in, staring at you in wonder. He tilted his head in confusion, trying to read you and understand how you were feeling. He didn’t understand body language at all so when you saw him and your eyes lit up a bit, he didn’t connect the dots.

You smiled when you noticed Cas, pausing your YouTube video to see what he wanted. He was so damn beautiful, you hated yourself for being such a pussy. You needed to ask him out but you had to be sure of his intentions before making a fool out yourself.

“What’s up, Cas?” You asked.

“I need help.” He started, walking over to you. He took a seat next to you and you frowned, thinking he was in trouble.

“Is everything okay?” You asked.

“I need your advice on something.”

“Like what? I’ll try my best to help you.”

“I like a woman. I’m very much interested in her and I don’t know if she likes me back or not. What should I do?” He asked. You felt your heart twinge in pain. You knew he would move on to someone else if you didn’t make a move on him. But, you wanted to be a good friend to him so you decided to help him out.

“Well, just being yourself is a good way to go. Because when you’re yourself, then she can see what an amazing person you are.”

“I tried that and she still hasn’t noticed me the way I want her to. Dean suggested I kiss her and bring her to the bedroom.”

“No, Cas,” You started, not thinking that was the best idea. As much as you didn’t want him banging some girl, that wasn’t the way to go. “That isn’t how you do things. You know better than to listen to Dean.”

“Then what should I do?” He asked, defeated.

“Have you tried using pickup lines?”

“What are those?” He asked, confused.

“They are lines that guys use to pickup women. Here, I’ll show you. Pretend you’re a woman, okay?” You asked, thinking of some cheesy ones that always work on you.

“Would you like me to get a woman vessel?” He asked seriously.

“No, Cas, okay, just listen to me, okay? I’m going to tell you some pickup lines that I personally like hearing, okay?”

“I understand.” He said, staring at you intently, ready to listen to what you had to say.

“Okay, here is one that I love: Are you a magician? Because whenever I look at you, everyone else disappears! That always makes me smile and I don’t care how cheesy it may sound.” You said with a giggle.

Cas noticed how giggly you got and how much you smiled when you said it. He definitely would use that one you and made a mental note about it.

“What else?” He asked.

“Okay, I also like this one: I'm not a photographer, but I can picture me and you together. That always gets my heart to flutter. The purpose of a pickup line is to make the girl feel special, like she is the only person for you. However, most men use them so they can get sex which makes these lines hated.” You said, looking at your laptop.

“So, they work? Would it get this girl to notice me?” He asked.

“Yeah, I mean, it would work on me. Just make sure she knows she’s special.” You said with a smile, typing on your laptop.

“I think I understand now.” Cas said.

“Here is a list of more, if you want to look at them,” You said, pointing your laptop to Cas so he can use it. “Just use the arrows on the keyboard to scroll through the list. This girl is a lucky girl, Cas.” You said, getting up. Cas barely heard you as he began looking through the list. You sighed and walked to your bedroom, trying not to get emotional.

You guess this is what you get for being such a baby. Now, Cas likes someone else. You were happy for him and you wanted him to be happy but you wanted to be that girl.

A few days had passed and you hadn’t heard from Cas at all. You wanted to know how his little plan went but he wouldn’t answer any of your prayers. You would be fine with that but you had just gotten your period so you were extra emotional today.

You trudged out of bed and walked to the kitchen where you smelled a delicious meal being cooked. Upon entering, you saw Dean by the stove and Sam eating by the table, looking at a newspaper for hunts probably.

“I’m in a mood, so keep the food coming, would you?” You said to Dean, walking over to the coffee maker to pour yourself some coffee.

“You got it.” Dean said, knowing that ‘I’m in a mood’ was code for period time. You sat down at the table and looked at Sam who sent you an amused smile.

“What are you looking at, Winchester?” You asked grouchily.

“Hey, don’t snap at me. I didn’t do anything.” Sam said, eating his eggs.

“I know, but if I’m in a mood, I’m bringing both of you down with me.” You said, snatching a piece of bacon off his plate.

“Hey, get your own food.” Sam said, moving his plate farther from you.

“Sorry, Sammy, a girls gotta eat.” You said, munching happily on it.

“And here is your food.” Dean said, bringing you a plate full of pancakes and bacon, your two favorite breakfast foods.

“I love you Dean.” You said, digging in immediately.

“Yeah, yeah, don’t mention it.” He said with a chuckle, eating from his own plate as he cooked more. Suddenly, you heard the flutter of wings and Cas was next to you at the table. You jumped slightly, still not used to him doing that. It was worse in the beginning, but it still scared you.

“Cas, what have we talked about? You’re not supposed to sneak up on people.” You said, going back to eating your food.

“If you were a vegetable, you would be a cute-cumber.” Cas said, dead serious as he stared at you. You and both Winchesters froze, looking at him like he was crazy. You blushed a little at the pickup line but looked at Sam who shrugged.

“What?” You asked after swallowing your food.

“Do you have a map? I'm getting lost in your eyes.” Cas said, staring deeply into your eyes. You blushed harder and started getting emotional but you forced yourself not to cry.

“Cas, what are you doing?” Sam asked.

“Shush! Let him finish!” You snapped at Sam, looking back at Cas in a dreamy way. Maybe you were wrong. Maybe he really did like you. You wanted to see where this was going to go.

“You’re so beautiful that when you walk into a room, all I can focus on is you. You light up any room you walk into and I find myself wanting to know you more and more. But how can you not notice me when I’m right in front of you?” Cas said. You got tears, letting them fall

Stupid hormones. You wanted to smile and you wanted to kiss Cas and tell him how much you like him but all you can do is cry.

“Alright, here we go again.” Dean complained, turning back to the food on the stove. Sam chuckled at your emotional state but didn’t look away from this.

“Why are you crying? Sam, why is she crying?” Castiel asked, confused. This wasn’t supposed to happen. Girls don’t cry when they receive pickup lines. Before Sam could answer, you spoke.

“No, that was really beautiful,” You started, your voice high and squeaky. You tried to stop the tears but they wouldn’t. “I didn’t know you liked me Cas because otherwise, I would have made a move on you. But that was the most beautiful pickup line I’ve ever heard.”

“Why are you crying?” He asked, moving closer to you.

“I’m just really emotional right now. But give me a few days and I would love to go out with you if you want.” You smiled through the tears.

“I would love that. Are you emotional because of your mensural cycle?” He asked.

“Whoa, Cas, you don’t go asking women that. They don’t like it dude.” Dean stepped in.

“Yeah, Cas, don’t ever ask me that. But yes, it is.” You said, wiping the tears away.

“Then I would be glad to take you out on a date when you’re ready.” He said with a smile. You nodded and stared at him before going back to eating.

“Dean, I need advice on dating.” Castiel said as if you weren’t sitting right next to him.

“No! Dean is the last person to ask. Sam will help you.” You said with your mouth full.

“I will?” He asked but you shot him a death glare and he nodded. “I will.” You smiled and chewed your food, happy that Cas was interested in you like you were interested in him.

Drunk in Love // Dolan Twins: Part Three

Lili walked back into her apartment room and watched TV while waiting for the twins to call her. Her phone was blowing up while she was watching TV, but she just continued to watch. It wasn’t until 3pm that she got a call. But it wasn’t from the twins, it was from her mum. “Hi mum!” Lili said. “Hey, I see that you met Grayson and Ethan today…” Lili’s mum mentioned. “Uhh, yeah. They r my neighbors. They just helped me unpack. I swear.” Lili said. “Hmm, are you sure? Because in the photo it looks like that they like you and that you like them.” Lili’s mum said. “Mum! I know what you said about no boys and I am following that rule! I promise you we are only friends okay. I promise you.” Lili said. “Well, your father has seen the photo and it seems like that as well. And how the hell did you become friends with them?” Lili’s mum asked. “Well, they knocked on my door with a welcome poster and then they wanted to help me unpack I guess?” Lili said, feeling a bit uncomfortable with the conversation. “Hmm okay this seems suspicious…” Lili’s mum said. “Mum! It’s fine! We won’t have any pregnant 20 year olds in the family…” Lili said. “Now I am even more concerned…” Lili’s mum admitted. “Mum, I swear to god if you do this for the rest of my life, I will actually murder you. And yes, I remember about the audition tomorrow.” Lili said. “Oh yeah your audition! Have you been practicing?” Lili’s mum asked. “I was practicing the whole plane ride and I will practice now, I guess.” Lili said. “Okay, well, get going!” Lili’s mum said. “Okay, bye!” Lili said, and then straight away hung up. Lili grabbed her script and started reading her lines with lots of expression. She realized that she need to warm up so she started doing tongue twisters until she got them right and then started doing some other warm-ups. When she finished her warm-ups, she read her script out loud. It was 3 hours that Lili was practicing until her phone started to ring. It was the twins this time. “Hey! What’s up?” Lili asked. “Hey! So we finished recording and it took less time than we expected it to. Five hours is pretty good.” Ethan said. “Woah! That’s a long time!” Lili said. “Not really. Our shortest is four hours and our average would be around ten hours. The longest was 16 hours.” Ethan said. “Woah! That’s a long time to be recording.” Lili admitted. “Well, not really to be honest. Some YouTubers spend 100 hours just making one video…” Ethan said. “Wow, I would be dead by the time that ended. Literally. I would be on the floor, dead.” Lili joked. “Ha-ha! Hey would you like to eat dinner with us? There is a nice pizza shop down in The Grove and I’m thinking that would be a great place to go. It is literally the best. There are shops, and food and a bunch of stuff! So what do ya think? Do you wanna go?” Ethan asked. “Well of course I do! I haven’t eaten proper food since I left Melbourne!” Lili said. “Well, I am sure that this would make your taste buds go wild!” Ethan joked. “Ha-ha! I will be there soon!” Lili said. “No, we are driving you, what do you mean?” Ethan asked. “Oh, wow, really?” Lili asked. “Well, yeah. We are always going to drive you.” Ethan said. “Okay well in that case, I will be down in a minute.” Lili said. “Okay! We will be there in about 5 minutes!” Ethan said. “Okay! See you then!” Lili said. “Bye!” Ethan said and then he hung up. Lili put some nice clothes on and ran to the elevator. She went down and found Ethan and Grayson in a car waiting for her to come so they could have dinner. “What took you so long?” Grayson asked. “Yeah, you said that you would be down in a minute but it took you 10 minutes to get down.” Ethan said. “Sorry, I was getting changed.” Lili said. “Ha-ha, it’s okay! We are only joking! We just got here!” Grayson admitted. “You guys and your pranks…” Lili said. “Ha-ha. We’re sorry.” Ethan said. “Are you though? Are you…” Lili said. They made it to The Grove and got out of the car. People looked at them as they got out of the car and squealed, asking for pictures. Lili was just left behind the crowd of people. She just waited while everyone left and even though she was hurt inside, she pretended to be happy. “How many people were asking for photos, omg!” Lili asked, shocked. “A lot. But let’s not talk about that. Let’s talk about you. What was Australia like? Was school good to be in or did you not really like it much?” Grayson asked. “Well Australia was good but I guess school wasn’t really the best.” Lili said. “Aww, why not?” Grayson asked. “Well I guess there were a lot of bullies there but you know. That’s life I guess. Can’t be perfect. There have gotta be some bad times otherwise you aren’t living life to its fullest.” Lili said. “Very wise words from a very pretty girl.” Grayson said. “Well, thanks. I try.” Lili said. “What are you two love birds talking about?” Ethan shouted from behind. “Shut up, Ethan! We aren’t love birds!” Grayson yelled. “Ethan, hurry up!” Lili shouted. Ethan ran up. “Okay! I’m here!” Ethan said. “Good. Now where is this pizza shop you are taking me to?” Lili asked. “Right in front of you.” Ethan said. There was a pizza shop that looked really popular. Grayson and Ethan walked Lili in and as soon as they walked in, people gasped and shouted “Omg!” Ethan and Grayson acted like they got it all the time though and that it were completely normal to them. A guy in a waiter’s suit escorted them to their table. Lili looked around to see a bunch of people staring at them. “Why is everyone staring?” Lili asked. “It happens all the time. I got a little creeped out the first time it happened to me.” Grayson responded. “Same actually.” Ethan said. “Will I get used to it?” Lili asked. “I would be surprised if you didn’t to be honest.” Grayson said. “Ha-ha, okay.” Lili said “I think we should read the menu now.” Grayson suggested. “Yeah. Same.” Lili agreed. They all looked at the menu and Grayson decided that he just wanted a pineapple margarita pizza and so did Lili and Ethan so they all decided to get a large pineapple margarita pizza to share. They finished their meal and Grayson payed for the food. They left the restaurant and, when they went outside, there were a group of fans wanting to get pictures with Ethan and Grayson. So, once again, Lili was at the back of the crowd watching Ethan and Grayson take pictures with fans. This crowd wasn’t as big as the other but it was still big. “I am so sorry Lili for you having to wait for fans to take pictures with us we feel really bad because today was just meant to be about us but then we kinda got distracted by fans. Once again, we are so sorry.” Grayson said. “No, it’s fine. You guys have fans and I can’t get in the way of that. I really don’t mind you taking pictures with fans. I know that I would like to have a picture with you guys.” Lili said, even though she was actually quite upset inside. The whole entire car trip back to the apartment was quiet. Lili knew why but the twins had no idea. When they got back, Lili had her arms crossed. “Lili, what’s wrong?” Grayson asked. “Yeah. You were quiet the whole entire car trip.” Ethan said. “Oh, it’s nothing. Just lost in my thoughts, I guess.” Lili lied. “Come on, Lili! We all know something’s up.” Ethan said. “I promise you, it’s nothing.” Lili lied again. “Okay, if you say so.” Grayson said even though he knew something was up. “Okay well this is me. So I’ll uhh see you guys tomorrow… I guess.” Lili said, putting on a fake smile. “Okay. We’ll see you tomorrow.” Grayson said, looking a little concerned. “Bye.” Ethan said.

So sure are they of their footing that the Trump women, rare political mountain goats, never even look down for obstacles that might break up their gait or send them sprawling. But Talley believes the Trump women favor such shoes because they were trained young in the “rigor” of wearing them—and because they look good. “It creates a tall, statuesque, almost ideal elegance,” Talley says, but also comes with an element of risk—which, mastered, further differentiates them from the average woman. “It is a shoe that defies gravity. It is a risk-taking shoe. If you stumble, you will break your ankle. Morris explained in an email to Newsweek that, for example, the orange spot on a herring gull’s beak causes a chick to peck the orange spot for food. But researchers found that a chick will respond even more eagerly to a big orange blob on a card. “In terms of the human example, we tend to find the defining characteristics of the opposite sex attractive,” Morris wrote. “High heels function in a similar way. Males respond to the characteristic way a woman walks, i.e. the movement of the female pelvis; high heels just exaggerates the femaleness of the walk. Life update #3

So i went to that talk about being a 14 year old girl and JESUS FUCK THE IGNORANCE!!!!!! The hetero normativity for one, was terrible, and when the lady asked for questions one kid asked ‘What do you think about the LGBT community’ and i was like FUCK YES and the speaker low key just avoided the question. She was very cis normative and hetero normative and VERY gender stereotypical and even made the comment that ‘Women are just as good as, if not better than men’ which is literally sexism but we accept it in schools because wen it’s against men it’s ‘acceptable’. Obviously women are just as good as men but don’t say one gender is better than another! Whatever I’m just glad my friends didn’t agree with her and agreed with my remarks on her. ANYWAYS after school I had choir in which I saw that beautiful, beautiful girl whom is my crush. She’s so perfect and I know deep down that i love her but it can never be mutual. She’s 2 and a half years older and has a boyfriend, but she’s so damn amazing. In choir she barely speaks to me, she knows I like her but it’s not that weird. This time in choir she spoke to me and it was only about one sentence and it was to my friend and I but it still made my heart race so much. She looked at me and I just like AHHH god I love her I wish she noticed me so bad.

Anyways it’s Tuesday night now and all dat was on Monday but I’ve been super busy so I’ve just been typing things here and there. Today was alright, one of my friends and I haven’t been talking for a couple days which has made me really sad but he really hurt my feelings so I’m not gonna approach him, if he apologizes maybe, but otherwise it’s just not worth it, I care about him but I can’t deal with any more people who think I’m.. well think I’m annoying and clingy and all that bullshit. I miss him tho.

Anyways school was average, my whole group is acting off cause something is going on but no one will tell me what so I’m sorta jut isolated rn but i guess that’s okay. I came home after school today and I wrote a song, about that crush I mentioned earlier. It’s pretty emotional but I think I might post it to my YouTube channel. I really poured my heart into it and I actually sorts like it. Tomorrow is mufti at school which I’m pumped for ‘cause I can wear men’s clothes, the one school day per term where i don’t have extremely crippling dysphoria! WOOT! Anyways Wednesday is my favorite school day of activities so tomorrow should be a good day, especially since it’s mufti. That’s all for now I think i might actually try and get a decent nights sleep tonight coz I haven’t been lately and I keep lowkey blacking out every day so Ima have a relatively early night (that meaning 11pm lol) , night blog that nobody reads.

I was hit from behind on Wednesday evening heading to work. The driver was ticketed by the police and their insurance company has admitted full liability. Injury wise, I have whiplash which thankfully, is going away now. My car, according to their adjuster, is going to be claimed as totaled. So, my car is valued at 7400, and repairs just from visual inspection, are 7015. So they are going the totaled route as its cheaper for them. After they buy the car from me, they will sell it to salvage, expect to get 2k from it, and only be out 5400 instead of a full cost of repairs. So I've had the car for a year and half, taken out on a 5yr car loan. I still owe 12k on it. After they cut a check to the lean holder, I'm still responsible for 5k on that loan. The bank and my insurance at the time didn't offer gap insurance. Stupid of me, I let my current policy expire to search around for a more affordable policy. I kept procrastinating, and the accident happened with me having no insurance. Lucky he hit me and is at fault. I'm trying to see what my options are. I've gone to the liable company's website and see their basic plan for my state, law requires 25k in property liability for at fault accidents, plus medical etc. So I'm wondering what should I expect from the lady handling this claim. I'm not fooled when she called me yesterday and said that she is here to work with and for me. Saying that there is probably a lot of talk about lawyers, just know they will take 30-40% of you settlement. Know that I'm here to work for you, try to work with me I'm thinking my head total bull crap. 1, she works for her insurance company first, and will have their interest first, 2, she works for their client and to protect them from me in a suit. In the end, I'm not stuck with a car that they will not fully pay to have repaired, and will still owe 5k after they pay the loan holder the value of the car. My credit is damaged and getting a new loan is probably not going to happen easily. I really don't want to get a lawyer but I now have a car sitting in my driveway that I can't use plus a balance in the end. Anyone got some suggestions as to what I should realistically expect. The lady mentioned a liability settlement, repair settlement, medical expenses settlement, and personal injury settlement. I'm not out to make money on this as that just will not happen.
