Todo o discurso do Mr. Darcy que culmina em "I love you. Most ardently", e a recusa da Lizzie logo em seguida. Você chamar a pessoa que você quer casar de pobre fudida e depois mandar um eu te amo? Fitzwilliam Darcy, você é tudo pra mim! Príncipe das declarações, mereceu tomar um não no meio da cara, sofro.

O discurso do Eleventh Doctor em The Rings of Akhaten me fez escrever um POV inteiro para a Meili. A parte em que ele manda o "Oh, you like to think you're a god, but you're not a god. You're just a parasite eating out the jealousy and envy and longing for the lives of others." Eu gosto dessa cena num geral, mas eu gosto também como ela termina nele gritando "Take it, take it all!". Incrível.

E para fechar as mídias britânicas, mais um quote de Doctor Who, mas dessa vez do Tenth Doctor: "I'm burning up a sun just to say goodbye" Honestamente? Doomsday mudou a química do meu cérebro desde que eu assisti e Rose x Doctor é um dos meus ships favoritos sim. E depois que ele para em "This is my last chance to say it... Rose Tyler, I-" e SOME? I was HOOKED. Menção honrosa ao clássico "Wibbly-Wobbly, Timey-Wimey… Stuff" pois isso moldou uma geração de fãs de Blink. Blink and you're dead, porra!

The Tenth Doctor & Rose Tyler (Doctor Who). My OTP to end all OTPs. ♥

I could write a novel about them, but I won't. Instead, I will give you this...

WARNING: SPOILERS!

As bittersweet as this scene was, I always end up dwelling on the thought that The Doctor left Tentoo (his part-human copy) with Rose, because he wanted to give her his "best self" - someone who could give her both what she wanted (him) AND what she needed (someone to live a normal life and grow old with) - and he knew that he couldn't give her both of those things if he stayed with her (or if he took her with him). He loved her and wanted to be with her, but, above all, he wanted what was best for her...even if it meant giving her up for good and having to live with that loss forever. He let Tentoo tell her what she wanted and needed to hear ("I love you.") so that she would choose Tentoo instead of him. His final gesture to her was an act of sacrifice and compassion. That pretty much sums up their entire relationship right there. And that is why I love him.
