#ted lasso #there be spoilers in these tags you've been warned #overall I really enjoyed the finale!#didnt hit as hard as I thought it would emotionally speaking #but still a good finale #the pacing issues that have plagued this season really showed themselves here #not so much that it was bad but definitely enough to take me out of the feelings #my one big gripe is Beard's reason for staying #ive never been a fan of Beard and Jane and I think him staying for her is bullshit #especially after episode 11's reveal of why Beard is so fiercely loyal and protective with Ted #im not mad he stayed I figured he would #but his reasoning being Jane... nah #hated that #shouldve made it about the team #but oh well #overall still had a good time

#[cherry on top]#undertale yellow spoilers #[..its still you]#anyways. finished my uty playthrough yesterday. oh my god.#^ that might be a bit of a surprise given that ive said like. nothing about it on here #but honestly i felt like positive-neutral about the game for most of it. like yeah it was good;#but nothing that drove me crazy. yknow? it was just an overall good game.#which is why i didnt really say anything about it #then it started picking up near the middle-end with the steamworks-#i enjoyed axis and guardener a lot; ceroba was a cool party member;#and the music in steamworks goes hard. one of my favorite tracks tbh #then there was the buildup to cerobas fight.#then i /got/ to cerobas fight and. crumples up into a ball AAUUUUUUUUUU #OH MY GODDDDDD #something about it made me shatter into a million tiny pieces.#a lot of things did actually. like how HARD IT WAS #i was stuck on her for OVER AN HOUR #BUT I DID IT. I DID IT LEGIT. IT WAS SO SATISFYING WHEN I FINALLY BEAT HER #god im just insane about ceroba rn. women who fuck up everything big time #and see no other option other than to dig their hole deeper because they sure as hell arent getting out of it #OH AND THE ENDING... BECAUSE OH MY GODDDD OF COURSE CLOVER WOULD DO THAT AHUGHHHHH #THEY'RE THE JUSTICE SOUL. I just watched Tears of the Prophets girl what was that ??? Jadzia deserved better than to be fucking fire blasted alone halfway through praying what the hell !?! And then there was a significant lack of send off ? They couldn't have done a brief funeral scene where everyone talks about how much she meant to them ?? That faceless captain who crashed on a random planet from a few episodes back got more of a send off than Jadzia come the fuck on man

I'm sure there are behind the scenes reasons why she was killed off (which I will look into shortly. I guess) but seriously they couldn't have given it even a little bit more care ? For the death of a beloved character ? Who's been there for 6 full seasons of show ?

I’ve been really thinking of reopening my art shop soon… I’ve been taking some practice doodles (hence all the posting lately) while I shake off my rust and I’m finding things I enjoy working on again. I miss trying my hand at more dragons/OCs and colors. my shop’s so broken rn lmao but that’s a problem for a later date it’s just nice getting back into art

#my mental health is starting to improve a bit #took a couple years but I found some meds that finally work better for me #ofc things aren’t 100% but I was really in a pit for a while #like ‘did not leave my house in months and slept 14 hours a day’ kind of pit #so. any improvement is better lol. but nah I’ve been making real improvement and im doing better. a lil shaky sometimes but that’s expected #diagnosed with chronic fatigue too. which is unfortunate but not unexpected. i am indeed god’s sleepiest soldier #i feel like a raisin slowly rehydrating but considering i was in a desert before any hydration is welcome #just learning how to enjoy things again overall #one thing I just couldn’t get myself to do (and enjoy) was art. doodles here and there but nothing to post #and it’s kind of funny because I feel like that downtime actually gave me a chance to think about what I wanted to work on #even when I wasn’t actively practicing #just paying attention to things I guess. enjoying art styles #i genuinely think my experimenting with stained is helping me learn colors #i spend hours in the scryshop im glad it’s paying off lmao #i want to tackle bigger things but i just gotta ease myself into the hang of things again #for now im having fun and that’s coooool. thank you all for your nice comments #i read all tags while kicking my feet and giggling. thank u all #that’s the update on Me tho. more to come hopefully #starting next month/julyish I will have a significant amount of time to dedicate to drawing which i intend on doing #so who knooowwwsss #rambles #funny enough coloring has become my favorite part of the process now. it used to be lineart. now lineart annoys me LOL #i also feel like i kinda lost my ability to write which has been frustrating but im focusing on art first #anyways that’s a whole different tangent rant over

Have we, as a fandom, progressed to the point that we can realize that Twilight of the Apprentice, while a good episode, is not a particularly great Rebels episode and is certainly the least functional finale in the entirety of Rebels?

#like I enjoy twilight of the apprentice #but it’s largely focused on the relationship between one recurring character and a villain that is barely in the show #and that relationship is only meaningful in any way if you’ve watched a completely different show #aside from that it only resolves one of the plot threads of the season (inquisitors)#while the others (Hera becoming a leader for the Rebellion Sabine growing toward accepting her past Zeb reconnecting with his people #and finding peace and even chopper becoming a more complex character what with the introduction of his backstory and his newfound ability to #connect to others outside of the Spectres and the Rebellion growing and becoming more structured)#are completely left behind #4/6 of the MAIN CHARACTERS of the ENSEMBLE SHOW do not even appear in the SEASON FINALE #the main villains are unceremoniously killed off not by the efforts of the main characters #but by a completely new guy who you know nothing about if you haven’t watched a different only vaguely connected movie and a slightly more #connected TV show. but even then lots of stuff doesn’t add up because Ahsoka and Maul had never met before when TotA aired #at a lot of points TotA BARELY feels like a Rebels episode and more like a continuation of TCW (the Ahsoka and Vader fights$#it’s a well written episode overall hence how it manages to somehow make this work #but it’s more a resolution to TCW’s Anakin & Ahsoka dynamic than anything else #it’s not really Rebels and it’s certainly not a satisfying finale to most of the season #it just seems like it is because it plays on nostalgia and does have a strong resolution to Ahsoka & Vader #ok hot take for the night! will be watching this episode tomorrow #don’t kill me #star wars #is this the original post tag #rebels #star wars rebels #sw rebels #twilight of the apprentice

#GOD #I can't actually belive i'm done #FINALLY #Like It was not at all what the internet had let me to belive #I was shock at how long it took for the trolls to show up I was led to belive they were like the main characters #Overall I have VERY mixed feelings about it #I don't want to say it's bad #I would actually say like 70% or so it's really enjoyable #But that 30% is so boooooooring and bad #Like ACT 6 for as many highs as it has it also has some incredibly low lows that almost made me give up #Like it got to a point where me not reading text and just going on from the images and random phrases stoped being an exception and started #to become the norm #AND I READ IT DURING THE DURATION OF THE WHOLE SUMER HOW THE HECK THERE'S PEOPLE WHO READ THROUGH IT IN UNDER A MONTH??#I don't regret reading through it but I doubt I will go for a second run anythime soon...#I also doubt I will read the epiloges or Homestuck2 #Maybe I will play the Friendsim/Pesterquest games one day since I've alredy played (and enjoyed) Hiveswap #Who knows #But for the time being I think im burned out on Homestuck

Well that happened. That was a DLC.

#i havent even finished it yet but i got to the final boss phase 2 so its basically done #but uhm yeah #i have so so many thoughts (i wanna try hold em off til i beat the final boss - i want to read the lore) but basically:#music: 10/10 incredible as always #gameplay: 9/10 #<- the new weapons the AREAS bro the areas some of the best in the game #and tbh most of the bosses i found fun #they are far from perfect (except you rellana girl i love youuuuuu) but most of them are great #<- final boss not included because i only just got to him today and tbh its like #fine ig but i KNOW its gonna be like messmer aka rip my frame rate #story: 5/10 #why were the side line npcs better stories than the main crew #the main crew individually were honestly solid but the dlc as a whole really idk #im not sure how to describe it but the story is kinda just... there #tbh i knew miquella was gonna be a bastard i didnt believe that miquella the kind stuff for a second #and tbh hes a complex character #but idk its liek the whole story was about him but i feel im so lost on what was actually going on #so overall: i wanna say 9/10 even though i didnt vibe with the story i had so much fun with the dlc as a whole that it was worth it for me #i feel like from passing bits ive seen thats an unpopular opinion but idgaf i enjoyed it #now i need to go stare at rellana art and finish my tarnished riku piece #best part of the dlc was the drip actually the drip was peak #and a certain weapon #i could probably name drop it but its my new fav weapon its just a classic i love it to bits #elden ring spoilers #uh just in case

i forget how good the first 2 seasons of Battlestar Galactica are. i've been watching one episode a week with my folks, and it really holds up so well.

so far in terms of character writing in reload…i don’t know how to explain this but like it feels like the writing can be very tryhardy in emphasizing certain character traits and that leads to flanderization (most notable in aki’s case, but also noticeable in like…aigis and mitsuru) but also there are instances where it feels Right and Needed as compared to the original text? idk does this make sense

#quinn moment #3DReload #it’s like overall im liking the new scenes but everything always feels slightly Off to me in some sense #also with localization i enjoy some aspects of correcting translation stuff and am kinda saddened by others #im glad the underclassmen finally say (last name)-senpai like in the jp dub #but im wondering where the overabundant use of ‘as they say’ in aigis came from…?#are they trying to shove it in your face that this is a robot saying these quirky phrases? feels really unnecessary
