SUMMARY:

Having learned of a streak of dissapearances plaguing city areas neighboring the Pizzaplex, Sun desperately tries to prevent more kids from going missing by any and all means necessary. Even if a highly suspicious "staff" woman, the one that's been stalking his children for weeks, must get lost instead.

Unluckily for him, Management seems uncharacteristically protective that person. Left with no other options, Sun uses the most powerful instrument at his disposal — a half-baked Moon AI. A tool that was supposed to get rid of his problem, and do it quickly. Was supposed to do it efficiently. Was supposed to do it cleanly.

What it wasn't supposed to do was wake up.

I have fallen into the clown-shaped abyss of DCA fandom's bottomless pit of excellent fics and I'm making it everyone else's problem

Summary: This day was just getting worse and worse for Danny. First, he gets dragged to Gotham City with his parents for some 'ghost hunting' convention, and then on his first flight out, he gets captured! Now he's stuck in a Fenton Tech Containment device in some strange cave filled with cars, computers, and for some reason... A dinosaur? He has no idea what to do or how he will escape... Jazz is gonna kill him. The Bats have been having a hard time recently. For the last few weeks, glowing green creatures from all over had been flocking toward Gotham City. Now Tim was staring at the first ghost they had been able to capture and interrogate. He had glowing green eyes and bright white hair. And he… He just possessed Tim, didn't he? Or... Danny gets kidnapped by the Batfam and seeks a way out, a little overshadowing never hurt anyone, right?

Harem Jaune Fics Proposal

If you must make Jaune have a harem; then at least remember these things, they will make it more....tolerable....for the palate: --Jaune is not a badass in the beginning (disregard this if he has been previously trained)

--To expand on the one above: if Jaune has been trained from the the start, Pyrrha is the benchmark; he can be stronger or weaker than Pyrrha, but at most he should only be slightly stronger than her (as in, he consistently wins 6 out of 10 matches against Pyrrha, stronger)

--Also: please, PLEASE bear in mind that being confident is NOT the same as being an asshole. Believe it or not, being an asshole actually denotes insecurity and, more often than not, it is a defense mechanism to hide it. A confident Jaune would be sure of what he wants, what to do to achieve it, and would not let himself be pushed around (that is to say, he can be a snarky little shit if his temper and patience is proper pushed); but he would still be the same dorky himbo that cares dearly for his loved ones and has very strong sense of morals and honor.

--Also remember, even if trained before Beacon, Jaune is still 17 during Beacon; which means his physique should still be relatively lanky (albeit his muscles are now very dense and pronounced due to said training). He does not become the “Big Hunk of Meat” we all know until later on when he’s 18 going on 19.

--And for the harem; keep in mind the Rule of Three, it is the most perfect number possible as any more will make trying to keep character interactions consistent an absolute nightmare. Also remember, regardless of who are in the harem; Jaune will always be the house-husband. Whether alone in that role or not depends, again, on the harem members.

His eyes are a pure neon green, the cut of his features more skeletal, the bounds of his white hair jagged, untethered, twisting outside the pull of gravity. His whole posture is bent into an inhuman, predatory hunch, his hands curled on white talons, his shoulders heaving with breath. He bares his teeth on sharp fangs that are silhouetted by the glow at the back of his throat—a glow that permeates his entire body. Neon veins that bleed through the black and white jumpsuit, that fracture across his face like he’s made out of porcelain, light, energy, pouring out of him. Bolts of emerald crack off him like lightning, jumping between the mists like neon clouds, though he hardly seems to notice.          

“You wanted me here? Here I am,” Danny growls, physically vibrating when his vacant eyes find the ghost blocking Jazz’s way.

“I can see that,” the ghost says with the low rumble of a chuckle, unperturbed as his lips curl into a sharp grin. “And you're barely holding on. Losing control, are we?”

The words send a lance of pain through Jazz’s chest. The ghost's words are so gloating, so awful, but she has the sinking feeling that they're true. Because the boy suspended in the icy depths of this twisted dimension, the one literally breaking apart in front of them—he doesn’t feel like her brother.    

 Barely holding on. Losing control...

“Maybe,” Danny says, his lips hooking at the corner, tongue running over teeth too sharp. Ducking his head, he calls glowing energy into his taloned hand, an intense, vibrant green cupped in his palm. “But this isn't ending the way you wanted it to. You were wrong, Dan.”

“Oh?” the ghost says, amusement still dancing in his voice.    

“I’m not turning into you.” Her brother smiles, and it's haunting, all wrong on his face. With a cold, hard certainty, he says, “I’m becoming something much worse.”

Ep 6 of 23.5 came out about a week ago and I think there's supposed to be 12 eps in total, so we're about halfway through the series, whoo!

So if that's the case, why are over 60% of the fics in the 23.5 tag on ao3 all about characters that don't even exist in the show? 😭😭

Am I missing something here? From my very limited knowledge of the show's making, North and Night were supposed to characters in the show but they were cut at some point (I think? I could be mistaken). So what are these North/Night fics (that are nearly a hundred in number) even based on? Were North and Night characters in whatever source material the show is based on (in that case, maybe they should be in a separate '23.5 (The Novel)' tag or something instead of the show's tag)? Are these fics amalgamations of Gemini and Fourth's characters in other shows? Are they based on nothing at all except whatever the author decided to write about? Which is fine, but I'm just baffled at how these characters, who don't even exist in the show, make up over half its tag.

I mean, I have nothing against the existence of these fics but it's just very ??? to have them take over the entire tag of the show.

Does it feel right? Is it a turn off or a turn on? And just generally i wonder if you've discussed this aspect of your relationship at all.

Peter: Oh-- we really didn’t talk about it? It’s just… he’s my dad. I don’t even think about it, really. It got to where it didn’t feel weird calling him ‘Tony’ when I was Spider-man, but that was… It felt different. He didn’t see me as his son then, and now he does. And I… I mean-- don’t take this the wrong way, but-- I like that he’s my dad? That part is important to me, too.

…But I don’t know. I do kind of… Things did feel different between us when I was Spider-man, and I kind of miss some of that? He cared about me, but he wasn’t... trying to take responsibility for me like he does as my dad. Maybe changing what I call him at home could help us get back to that, but-- I don’t know if that’s even possible, really…

Maybe I should ask him what he thinks about it.
