WELCOME TO THE ULTIMATE WEIRDGIRL SHOWDOWN

inspired by the recent trend of competitions, particularly @sexyladyotd, @nonbiney-swag-competition and @autismswagsummit, this tournament seeks to determine which weirdgirl from popular media is the MOST iconic. from mabel pines to coraline jones, who will come out on top? you decide!

a roster of 16 [EDIT: expanded to 32] has been preselected, with a few rules in mind:

the weirdgirl in question must be a minor [i tried to only include characters who are explicitly minors, but i would have been crucified if velma was left out]

there can be only one competitor per piece of media, so unfortunately many deserving ace attorney girls had to be eliminated 😔

the first round's matchups were carefully chosen to try to give everyone a fair fight, however after the first round, matchups will be randomized

I really like how Raeda is like the inverse/subversion of “nerd falls in love with rebel and thinks rebel is cooler”.

Raine is the nerd that approached Eda, a rebel (and a jock pretty much), and Eda immediately viewed them as the cool kid.

You know, growing up as a kid with autism/ASD, something that I did a lot of was just finding something to sit down on and just spin in (usually a swing set or a swivel chair) when I just wanted to be alone with my thoughts.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that The Collector is a lot of things, but I don't think neurotypical is one of them.
