Finished the embroidery on the green linen pant leg piece! I refused to rip anything out. If I fucked up I left it in. I was basically just doodling with thread. It was really fun! Now I can finish cutting out the other pieces and sew them together! First project for Edith (the really old serger I just bought).

I've got to clean my sewing table because it is currently covered in miscellaneous crap including another project I was going to do that I am less excited about and am therefore going to wait to finish. Can't cut out pockets and waistbands if my table is a mess! I can't remember if I made muslin pattern pieces for the pockets and waistband but I hope I did because idk what I did with the paper pattern pieces and I do NOT want to fiddle with the printer right now. My green linen pants project got pushed to the edge of the table that's shoved in a corner of the basement that's full of shit and therefore inaccessible so getting all the pieces back is going to be. Interesting.

I came across these "beach pajamas" from 1934 with varied shapes & sizes & colors of women (models), and was immediately taken in by the gorgeous scene. (Young women don't fathom that just wearing pants could be a criminal offense. We've come a long way, baby. (Let's not go back.)
