Regulus took only a second before he continued: "I would kill, die, and live for her. Sirius is your person. Pandora is mine."

So Kahoot would only let 40 people participate unless I paid like $100 for a year subscription, so I redid the quiz on quizizz, which is like kahoot except with powerups (yay!)

There aren’t many things that Pandora is afraid of.

She has always found life to be so peculiar and fun. It was a rare sight to ever see her afraid of something.

Except for her dreams.

At first, they started out with small normal things. A girl dyes her hair in her dream, and in the next couple of days, she has her hair dyed in the same way.

But then it becomes more serious.

A flash of a boy falling off his broom, and at the next match, Barty ends up in the infirmary.

She tried to stop them. When they were bad, she did everything she could.

Tried talking Regulus out of erasing James’ memories.

Or have a match stopped before someone got hurt.

But every time she tried to intervene, nothing changed.

So when she dreamt of Regulus drowning in a cave and James and Lily dying with a flash of green, she also knew she could do nothing but watch it happen.

None of the emeralds have a good estimate of how much money is worth. All of them are either stupidly rich (Regulus, Pandora, Evan — old money), “moderately” rich (Dorcas, new money) or stupidly rich and unable to access any of their funds (Barty, old money). There’s a charity silent auction with no set prices and regulus gives a 100 galleons for a cup that’s worth a few sickles at best. They sneak out in their seventh year to apparate to muggle London, Dorcas pays a 50£ for their ice cream. Pandora’s roommate starts doing commissions and she pays a few thousand galleons for their very first painting just for it to stay in the same room because, once again, THEY SHARE IT and she spends most of her year at Hogwarts. Evan buys a house in Austria when he’s fifteen because he went there with his parents for a week and he liked the view and then promptly forgets about it for a few years. Barty takes one good look at some blood magic books in knockturn, doesn’t even look at the price, and just steals them because the security is shit. Why would anyone even need money

To me, Barty is a music guy.

He knows a shit ton about music. All types.

He goes on rants about music all the time.

He takes the time trying to better understand the lyrics to songs.

He taught himself how to play guitar as a kid just cause he loved music so much (and because it pissed his dad off).

He works best when music is playing in the background. He doesn't care what song it is, or what genre, just as long as music is on, he's chill.

It will be 4 A:M, and Evan and Regulus will wake up to Barty, manic, rearranging his side of the dorm while listening to music with his headphones in, not even realizing how loud he's being over the music.

He probably also had a really good singing voice, and he knew it, and anytime a song came on he would just sing along and whoever his s/o / crush was would be staring, jaw dropped.

He knew the words to every song ever.

Even songs you wouldn't think he would know, put it on and he'd be singing along as of he wrote it himself.

It could be a song in a completely different language, and he'd have no idea what they'd be saying in it and he'd still jam out.

He's the guy at parties with a guitar, who takes requests.

He's also the guy at parties who's always the first on the dance floor. That boy loved to dance to any song, ever. (Also, kinda unrelated, but I headcanon Barty to be an ex dance kid. His mother definitely made him take dance classes as a kid, and, while Barty always complained about them and says how much he hated it, he secretly loved them! He's a dancer at heart.)

In conclusion. Barty loved music. And music loves Barty.
