In the bustling Avengers Tower, a rainy day kept everyone indoors for lunch. Natasha Romanoff, known as Black Widow, sat at the dining table with her husband, Bucky Barnes, and their precious daughter, Y/N. All the avengers had gathered for lunch in the tower kitchen due to the storm outside.

Dressed in only your diaper, you sat in your high chair, enjoying a bowl of mashed raspberries and strawberries. Your fingers clumsily grabbed at the spoon, trying to feed yourself. The Avengers, seated around the table, couldn't help but smile at the adorable sight.

As the thunder rumbled outside, your attention turned toward the towering clouds visible through the window. With your tiny arm outstretched, you pointed excitedly, your precious green eyes widening with curiosity. Just then, 7 year old Peter, Tony Stark's son, walked by, catching a glimpse of you in your high chair.

Mischievous by nature, Peter couldn't resist a little teasing. He reached out and snatched the spoon from your tiny hand, causing you to erupt in a chorus of incoherent gibberish. Your face scrunched up in displeasure, you gave Peter your signature Romanoff glare, you made sure your message was clear – the spoon was yours, and you wanted it back.

Tony, noticing the commotion, intervened, playfully scolding his son. "Alright, Peter, give it back. Don't tease her." But Peter, enjoying the teasing, held the spoon just out of your reach. His laughter filled the room as he stretched his arm away from your tiny grasp.

Your determination kicked into high gear. With lightning speed, you latched onto Peter's outstretched arm, using your tiny fingers to pinch him. Caught off guard, Peter dropped the spoon, and with your amazing reflexes, deftly caught it mid-air, a victorious smile lighting up your face.

The Avengers were amazed by your lightning-quick reflexes, applauding the little triumph. You were indeed a force to be reckoned with, inheriting your mama's resilient spirit and your papa's unwavering strength. With your face, the spitting image of Natasha, and your dark red hair mirroring your mother's, you were a sight to behold.

Bucky, always quick with a witty remark, turned to Peter and grinned. "This is why you don't challenge Romanoffs, kid."

Peter, a little taken aback, couldn't help but retort, "Why did you marry one, then?"

Bucky chuckled and replied, "Well, she's got her ways, but I couldn't resist." His gaze shifted to Natasha, who was making her way over to their daughter.

Natasha scooped you up in her arms, her heart swelling with pride. You giggled and patted the spoon against Natasha's cheek, as if rewarding her for her rescue mission. With a content smile, you handed the spoon back to your mama.

Sam Wilson, watching the scene unfold, rolled his eyes and said, "Of course, she gives it to Natasha."

Natasha smirked and replied, "That's because I'm her mama, Sam. I have special privileges."

The Avengers shared a collective laugh, realizing that the affection you have for your parents was immeasurable. You were their little baby, bringing joy and laughter to their lives. You extended your tiny arms, patting Bucky's cheeks and tugging at his hair, showering your papa with your boundless affection.

None of the avengers could deny the overwhelming adorableness of you and your unwavering devotion to your parents. With your spoon clutched back in your hand, you beamed at the gathered Avengers, as if assuring them that your love was boundless, even if you couldn't express it in words just yet.

Samtember Day 23: Birthday 🎂🧁

A very happy birthday to the one, Sammy Wilson! Here's how he celebrated his birthday with Bucky and their daughter, Riley. For @samsseptember

Sam woke to the smell of bacon and coffee. He looked up to see Bucky walking into the bedroom with a breakfast tray piled with all of his favorites and their daughter Riley following closely behind him. 

“Wow,” Sam said, sitting up on the bed. “I’m being spoiled today.” 

“You deserve to be. It’s your birthday,” Bucky said, leaning down to kiss Sam. When he pulled away, he put the tray in front of Sam. 

“Happy birthday, papa!” Riley said excitedly and ran over to the other side of the bed and climbed in. She gave him a sloppy kiss on the cheek, making Sam chuckle. She then handed something to him and Sam looked down to find a homemade birthday card with “Happy Birthday Papa” written in blue and red crayons. When he opened it, there was a picture of the three of them in front of their house. Sam felt tears in his eyes, but he tried to hide them as he kissed the side of Riley’s head. “Thanks, baby girl. This is the best present ever.” 

“That’s not your present, silly,” Riley told him, giggling. 

“Yeah, silly, we have a lot more planned,” Bucky chimed in and smirked at him. 

Sam rolled his eyes and started digging into his breakfast. It was as delicious as it looked. It had bacon, hash browns, pancakes, and everything else Sam could ask for. Bucky and Riley waited on either side of him with bated breath for a verdict. Sam took his sweet time and after a while, he burst out laughing and gave them a thumbs up. “This is great,” he commented. 

Sam fed both Bucky and Riley as he ate his breakfast while they stayed cuddled up on his side. Once he finished, Bucky took the tray away while Riley produced a couple of presents for him. Bucky also returned with presents, and Sam’s eyes widened in surprise. 

“You two really are spoiling me today,” Sam chuckled as he took the presents. 

“Papa, open your presents!” Sam’s 5-year-old insisted. 

Sam opened Riley’s presents and found a macaroni necklace in the first one, then a drawing that she made of the three of them in the second one, a personalized coffee mug with Riley’s art on it in the third one, but it’s really the fourth present that got Sam. It was a scrapbook, with all of Sam’s and Bucky’s memories with Riley in one place. Tears filled Sam’s eyes once more as he browsed through the scrapbook. “Did you- did you make this yourself?” Sam asked her. 

Riley frowned much like Bucky and reached out to wipe his tears away. “Yes, I made it. Kate and Kamala helped, though, I guess.” 

That made Sam laugh, and he pulled Riley into a tight hug. She squirmed and whined, “Papa!” before he let her go. 

“Wow, I definitely can’t top that,” Bucky said as he gave Sam his presents. 

“You’ll be fine,” Sam told him and rolled his eyes. He opened the first present and found a framed photo of the three of them. “Aww,” Sam cooed at the picture. The second present was a gold watch that looked very expensive. The third present was a little confusing. “What’s this?” Sam asked as he flipped through what looked like a coupon book. 

“It’s a coupon book,” Bucky confirmed. “I made it myself. It has coupons for whatever you wanna do. All sorts of activities. Including, days at the park, days staying in cuddling. You can cash in your coupon whenever you want.” Bucky shrugged. 

Sam’s eyes widened in surprise. Bucky, like Riley with her scrapbook, had put so much thought into this present. He couldn’t help but pull him in for a hug too. “Thanks, Buck.” 

“Anything for my baby,” Bucky whispered against his neck. 

Sam let him go and then the three of them spent the day snuggling in bed with Riley, telling them stories from school and stories of how Kate and Kamala helped her with her scrapbook. Apparently, they couldn’t agree on anything and Riley spent more time breaking up their arguments. Sam and Bucky laughed at her stories. 

After a few hours, the three of them got ready and went to the park for a picnic lunch. There, Sam gave Riley rides on his shoulders while Bucky smiled brightly at them and took pictures. 

Overall, it was a wonderful day, but it wasn’t over yet. In the evening, Riley and Bucky insisted Sam wear the suit they got for him. 

“Come on, papa, please…” Riley gave him her best puppy dog eyes while Bucky joined her in her shenanigans. 

Sam sighed dramatically and then changed into the suit after taking a shower. When he went to the kitchen and found Bucky and Riley covered in flour, struggling to bake a cake. 

“What’s going on here?” He asked, leaning against the door frame. 

“Nothing!” Bucky and Riley said in unison. 

“You weren’t supposed to see this!” Bucky huffed. 

“Well, too bad,” Sam chuckled. “Do you need any help?” 

“Nooo…. Go watch TV,” Riley ordered him and shooed him out of the kitchen. 

An exhausted Sam started drifting off in front of the TV until he heard Bucky and Riley singing ‘Happy Birthday.’ 

Sam sat up and found Bucky carrying a cake to him, while Riley followed close behind. Bucky put the cake on the coffee table and gave Sam a kiss on the cheek. 

The cake had half-finished frosting on it, but a bunch of candles on top. Sam got on his knees in front of the coffee table and blew out the candles, after making a wish, much to Riley’s delight. 

They spent the rest of the night, eating cake, watching TV, and finally having takeout until Riley fell asleep between them. Sam put her into bed and kissed her forehead before returning to Bucky. 

“Thank you for the wonderful day,” Sam said appreciatively and kissed his husband. 

“Don’t thank me yet. So far, this was a G-rated birthday. R-Rated is still pending,” Bucky smirked at him. “By the way, did I tell you how sexy you look in this suit?” 

Sam raised an eyebrow at him. “No, you haven’t. But I expect you to make it up to me during your R-rated birthday surprise.” 

“Oh, I will,” Bucky told him and kissed him again. “Happy birthday, Sam.” 

“I love you, Bucky,” Sam told him and smiled. 

This birthday went better than he could have ever expected.

+ Tony Stark has the best playgrounds at his compound, yes, multiple, one with a lot of climbing gear that Peter and Kate seem to keep to themselves, one with some water features that's great in the summer, and then the huge playground in the back, with tons of slides, and bridges, stairs, binocular posts, and the coolest hiding spots that overlook the whole thing.

+ As much fun as it is to play on them, adult supervision is always required, you and a few littles have snuck out before to play alone, but it never ends up working, Jarvis is a snitch, and Peter can't keep a secret for the life of him.

+ But everyone's caregivers are happy to take turns watching the littles as they play 'the floor is lava' or 'hide and seek, eyes closed edition', though today is a special occasion, everyone, littles and caregivers, are out at the big playground, the barbecue going, half filled lemonade cups scattered across every surface, and you and all the other littles playing together.

+ Quite a few reminders about the rules had been shouted out, 'no running', 'no pushing', 'no powers', and 'no fighting', leaving multiple caregivers mouths, and a few from you and your friends when Loki teleported halfway across the structure.

+ But you were so close to winning, so close to being the last person standing when Peter, who was it, came barreling around a corner, you had to run! You had to win! But sooner than later you found yourself sprawled across the fake, and bouncy, mulch like ground, Peter staring at you from a foot up, a few other littles murmuring amongst each other.

+ "Y/n!" You could hear Sam yell, and it wasn't a happy one, you knew the tone meant he was mad, and he had every right to be mad, and you knew it.

+ "'m sorry Papa!" You whispered as he hovered above you, helping you to your feet as he crouched down to look at your legs, his thumb barely touching your scrape as you pulled your knee back from his grasp.

+ Littles had run to their own Caregivers arms, a few 'This is why you don't run on the playground's being handed out, though everyone's eyes were glued to you and Sam, your hand's resting on his shoulders as he checked for any other injuries.

+ "What did I say about running?" Your Papa asked sternly, his eyes serious, eyebrows furrowed slightly, your thumb itching to run across them.

+ "You say 'Don' run or you'll ge' an owie.'" You said back in a deep voice, those around you laughing, though your Papa stayed unmoving, shocking everyone else, seeing as he was always the fun uncle before you, and seeing as you had him wrapped around your finger.

+ "And what happened?" He asked, still knelling on the ground, allowing you to both feel like, and be, the bigger person.

+ "I was runnin'." You admitted, Sam nodding his head. "'nd I fell." You tried to wrap your arms around his neck, hoping maybe a hug would be what it took to get him to fold, but he placed his hands on your waist and held you in place.

+ "And?" He asked, eyebrows raised.

+ "'nd 'm sorry, 'nd I won' do it again." You assured him, nodding your head for added drama.

+ "Good Baby." He nodded back, and though he didn't smile you could see the stress in his brow relax. "I accept you're apology, but no treats after dinner, okay?"

+ You nodded your head quickly, that 'punishment' was nothing compared to last week when you couldn't go on the playground at all after you pushed Kate off, 'accidentally', so you were just glad he wasn't going to make you sit the rest of the evening out. "Okay Papa." You went to hug him again, this time his arms wrapping around your middle, hugging you back before leading you towards the house, no doubt to clean up your knees.

+ On your way there you heard your Uncle Stevie tell Papa he 'Can't believe you had that in you man.', and Auntie Nat say 'If Wanda had fallen I'd be a mess.' but you knew your Papa wasn't mean, he had rules, and expected you to follow them, and if you didn't then you get punished, Uncle Stevie's just getting soft in his old age, and your Papa had you as a little, and he knew that some scrapes on your knees was nothing compared to what you had in you, so he stayed calm, because you were okay, Auntie Nat is just very careful.

+ In the end you were back on the playground in no time, this time walking, and making sure to stay away from the little drop off, and your Papa was off to the side getting your dinner plate ready for you, because he was wrapped around your finger, and you puppy dog eyed him in waiting in the line for you.

I'm mainly interested in canon x canon pairings but have some characters I don't mind pairing with OCs. I'm fine with MxM, MxF, and FxF ships. I prefer canon and canon divergent plots. I like to write on Discord or through Tumblr messages. I have a limited amount of free time so I'm not looking to double. I write in third person, past tense and around 2-4 paragraphs.
