could we have some hc on how copia/papa 4 would react to receiving a long confessional love letter from his crush?

Absolutely! No warnings, just romantic fluff...

Copia was used to fan mail - and by fan mail, he meant letters from his congregation

What he was not used to, was fragranced letters...

When he opened it, a waft of perfume hit his nostrils and tickled, triggering a sneeze.

As he began to read the extremely neat cursive, his heart rate climbed...

"I expect nothing but embarrassment to come from this, but I must confess, Papa..."

He skips ahead to where his crush had signed off with a little heart, and he springs out of his seat.

Surely not... he must be dreaming?

He'd been enamoured with you long before he became Papa, and he couldn't quite believe you were confessing feelings for him?

By the time he finishes the five sides of A4 you had written to him, his heart is in his throat and his eyes wide and glossy.

No one had ever said such lovely things to or about him.

What does he do with this information? Should he write back? Should he run through the halls screaming about it? Should he hunt you down and fall to his knees before you to confess himself?

Before he knows what he's doing, his feet are carrying him out of the halls and to the gardens where he knows you spend your mornings helping his fratello in his garden.

He finds Primo first, letter still in his hand. Primo is busy pruning some red roses, and when he sees Copia's panicked face, he slows him down and asks what's going on

"I must find her, fratello... Is she here?" "Try the greenhouse, fratellino..."

Copia goes to run, Primo stopping him in his tracks

"Here," he hands him a rose to give to you with a wink, and he sets off again.

When he finds you in the greenhouse, alone, you startle at the commotion of him tripping over plant pots you hadn't cleaned up yet.

Dusting himself off, he stands there, words failing him. You see your letter in his hand, and a sinking feeling overwhelms you.

"Y-you... I... I got you... this..." he pants, out of breath from running to find you and holds out the rose to you.

That sinking feeling is replaced by confusion. Hope was a cruel thing - you hoped it wasn't false hope...

He catches his breath, and takes a step forward.

"Red is the romantic kind, sì?" he asks, always so unsure in romance. He's twirling the fresh rose between his fingers.

You nod, smiling softly.

"Would... you like to join me for lunch today, Sorella?"

You would. Oh, of course you would...

The Papas and their driving skill

Primo : takes it easy, slow and smooth drive . Do not ask him to drive in the city he will get honked

Secondo: SPEED DEMON, it’s scary but he’s efficient with it , like a pro driver. Master of drifting

Terzo: he drives fast alright, with a latte in one hand going “whoops!” In every pothole he gets in. You WILL hold onto whatever you can in the car. He doesn’t hear you screaming over his singing in the car

Copia: the good efficient driver. Drives just over the speed limit but not too much. Probably the safest driver next to Primo.

I have a theory about the first song sung by the Papas characterizing them as characters.

Secondo's first concert song was "Secular Haze" - a song with a dark circus atmosphere, praising the Antichrist. As we know from Papaganda and interviews, he likes wigs, silly costumes and noisy parties, hiding his unhappiness behind this.

Terzo's first song was "From the Pinnacle to the Pit". His life path follows the path of Lucifer and Icarus, even the last word sung by him on his albums is "falling" ("Bible"). The higher one soars, the longer it takes to fall, the theme of hubris and the giddiness of success all reflect Terzo.

Copia's first song was "Rats" (acoustic performance). Rats prowl everywhere, small and inconspicuous, and bring death. I think he may have identified with death, as his reign began with the murder of the brothers. And as a bastard, he may have felt like a small animal, despised by all, but capable of revenge.

Secondo cuddles after a hard day. I need a hug

Oh sweetheart... I've got you. Pull up a pew let's get started.

He knows immediately that something is off with you.

You're quieter than normal, keep drifting off and spacing out. you're just pottering around your shared living space in a daze.

He's not totally sure how to help at first, but he comes to stand behind you, taking your hands away from whatever you're doing and wordlessly directing you over to the couch.

He sits first and pulls you onto his lap, laying your head on his chest.

"Who do i have to hurt, amore?" You chuckle at that.

You tell him about your stresses and he listens without interruption, clenching his jaw when you mention who has upset you and making a mental note to ruin their lives tomorrow.

But for this evening, he was best at your side.

When you take a break from telling him your woes to steady your shaky breaths, he mentally flicks through which medieval torture devices would be a fitting punishment for the stronzo in question.

He's playing with your hair, running his hands through it and gently scratching at your scalp like he knows you love.

When you cuddle closer and take a deep breath, his cologne fills your senses and that woody, sweet scent smells like home.

If you were to cry, he'd probably kiss them away - his hands are too busy with your hair to wipe them.

"Leave today in the past, amore. Enjoy the present with me."

Retired Papa Terzo teaches music to the ministry children while the parents are in service. They make shakers and tambourines out of toilet paper rolls and rice and pennies. He plays lead kazoo but sometimes has back up kazooers. They do holiday shows for the entire congregation where they play 80s covers.

I will die on this hill.

HC where Quintessence Ghouls have ridiculously powerful glamours and can basically hide/add anything to their forms. Other Elements just let them go between Ghoul and Human looks.

When Phantom finds this out, they add bat wings to their glamour.

They are purely cosmetic so they unfortunately can’t fly, (which they found out one night when Swiss dared them to jump out the window and see if they would glide) but they love their bat wings and hates when they have to put them away.

As soon as they get back to the Den or off stage, you best get out of their way because it’s bat wing time. (They unironically say that like a catchphrase every time)

Bonus - They have a picture of them and Papa on their wall, and they both have their bat wings on. Phantom adores that picture.
