Being Wolfstar's child would include:

-Having James Potter as your godfather (he'd definitely spoil you). When you went to Hogwarts, he either cried just as much as Sirius, or held Sirius whilst he sobbed.

-Going to the Potters' every Sunday for lunch. It's just a family tradition

-Being besties with Harry. Your dads and Godfather definitely arranged so many playdates for you two to become friends

-Having your own little Marauders nickname :,)

-Getting to cuddle with Padfoot when you're overwhelmed or just sad, but not okay with people at the time.

-Getting to ride Padfoot like a horse when you were younger.

-Having your own kid's leather jacket. You're the coolest kid in primary/elementary school, matching with your dad.

-Being raised on Queen and ABBA.

-Getting given your own record player when you go to Hogwarts.

-Having an overprotective uncle Regulus who secretly hopes you'll be in Slytherin.

-Getting majorly spoiled by said Uncle Regulus. He'd just be such a sweetheart to you <3

-He's really good with kids but no one, himself included, knows how.

-Having Mcgonagall as your unofficial Grandmother. If you ever get in trouble in Hogwarts, she would scold you, but with a fond smile on her face.

-She did the exact same thing with the Marauders.

-She definitely sent weekly letters to your dads about how you were doing in Hogwarts during 1st year.

-Being a sassy little shit. With Remus and Sirius as your parents, and Lily helping raise you too? You're the sassiest child the world has ever seen.

-Mastering Remus' eye roll at the age of four.

-If you play Quidditch, your entire family showing up to support you (and low key embarrassing you)

-Getting an excess amount of hugs, especially from Sirius. His baby just came back from shopping? Set down the bags and give your old man a hug. You've just gotten of the Hogwarts Express? Maybe he'll finish cuddling you by the time you have to leave again.

-Siriusly, So. Many. Hugs.

-Little forehead kisses from Remus.

-Just so much love in general.

-You growing up to be one of the smartest kids, but never once doubting how much you are loved by your dads, or by the rest of your family.

-And so much more!

HEADCANON OF THE DAY #13 (14?): (I messed up the dates it is #14 sorry :/ ) (marylily + jegulus raising Harry)

They all lived really close by, and it wasn’t really a ‘normal’ kind of you know divorced parents situation for Harry. A lot of the time he would just see all of them in the same area at the same time, but as he got older they made it week by week and since they were close by he had a whole closet of clothes in each house. When he was with Mary and Lily he would gossip and chill and all his friends would fall for their mom charm. When he was with James and Regulus he would be Emo Teenager and all his friends would fall for them as well. (His parents made everybody think if they’re bi, even when his parents were in his 50s)

Sirius walks in the front door, which still stands wide open behind Harry, and closes it. The quiet chatter of the Potters draws him to the kitchen. He pauses in the doorway, watching fascinated as James and Lily tag-team their three younger children. 

“Rose, it’s going to have to go into your trunk if you want to take it to Hogwarts,” Lily says. Michael is on her hip, clinging to her with arms around her neck. He’s really grown a bit too big to do that, but Lily has always been a sucker for her youngest kid. With her free hand, she stirs a pot on the stove. 

“That’s not going to work,” Rose says. “First years aren’t allowed to have broomstick, unless you’re a quidditch prodigy like bloody Harry–” 

“Language, young lady,” James says, glancing over his shoulder. In front of him, Holly sits on the counter as James applies a dragon bandaid to her knee. 

Rose crosses her arms. “The language felt appropriate for my feelings on the matter.” 

James and Lily exchange a fondly exasperated look. James turns back to Holly and presses a kiss to her knee over the bandaid and sets her on the floor again. “Go outside with your brother. No flying unless I’m out there, understand?” 

“Yes, daddy,” Holly says. 

“Love you,” James calls after her. 

“Love you!” she replies. 

James turns around and faces Rose. “Okay, you’re allowed to use that kind of language at home when the situation merits it, but it can never be directed to a person. ‘Bloody Harry’ does not work.” 

Rose rolls her eyes. “Fine. First years aren’t allowed brooms unless you’re a bloody quidditch prodigy like Harry.” 

James tilts his head, considering. “Lily?” he asks. He walks toward her, grabbing a bottle out of the cabinet over the stove and sprinkling it into the pot she stirs. 

“Acceptable use,” Lily says. “Questionable reasoning to use it.” 

James shrugs. “I’ll approve the use. It’s not really fair, is it?”

“So you’ll take my broom with your stuff so I can have it?” Rose asks. 

“No,” James says. “Unfortunately for you, it’s just unfair.” 

“If you get added to the quidditch team in your first year, then you may also have your broom at school,” Lily adds.

“Does that mean I also need to do a dangerous stunt to get noticed like Harry did?” 

“Only if you also want to serve the same discipline that Harry did,” James says. “Go ask him how much fun it was to spend every weekend in detention with me.” 

“Still made the team, didn’t he?” Rose says. 

Lily huffs, shifting Michael to her other hip. “No broom, Rosie. Go out and fly with your brother while you still can.”

Lily is the Light in the middle of the darkness. Like a flashing light or a light bulb, or even a bonfire. She gives hope and warm even when it seems like there might be none left.

Lily Evans to James Potter: Really getting caught making out with Regulus Black? Do you want Sirius to kill you?

James Potter completely flustered: Hey you have no room to talk Evans. How's Severus Snape been lately?

Lily unashamed lifts up her hand with a ring on her finger. It's silver and has lilies engraved on it: We are doing just great.

James Potter actually smiles at that. Happy for her. He's grown a lot from the boy she knew in school : That's actually really great Lils. I'm happy for you.

James after a second looks a little worried and awkward thinking of Harry: Though now I'm worried how we're suppose to explain this to a five year old?

Lily with a laugh: Simple if he's extra good this year he'll have three dad's instead of the one.

James Potter laughs with her, but gets a sad look on his face thinking of Regulus: Yeah, though I don't know if it will be that simple with Regulus. *sigh* Slytherins always having to make everything so complicated.

Lily smiles sadly: And the stubborn gryffindors who don't make it so easy.

Lily loved Harry so much, Harry loved his mother so much, throughout the books we get glimpses of Harry searching for something in himself with his mother’s traits, every “you have your mother’s eyes” is never met with a tired sigh or growing resentment. Harry wanted a mother, he needed his mother, he was repeatedly told that he had his mother’s eyes but usually people don’t look farther than that, contrary to popular belief, Harry took more after Lily than he did James, but, the phrase “you have your mother’s eyes” at surface level is an observation of someone’s eyes, obviously, but take into account that the “eyes are the window to the soul”, with everything we know about Harry and his likeness to Lily, we can say that at least a few people meant just that, ie; Remus, Slughorn, Snape, when Harry’s told that he has his mother’s eyes, it’s deeper than him having the same green irises as his mother, it’s deeper than Harry having the same shape of eyes and same shine in them when the sun hit them just right, he’s being told that he is just like his mother, that he not only has her eyes, but he has the same glint in them as his mother did.

Throughout the book, Harry tried to find connections with his parents, a lot of the times it was James sure, however, it was Lily, that he tried time and time again to find, and, he did.

In Deathly Hallows, while looking at the letter that Lily had sent to Sirius, Harry had noticed a few vital things, his mother wrote g’s the same way he did, he had examined every single letter, this was his mother, his mother who was talking about her son, talking about him, and they shared similar hand writing, Harry had examined the letters not only because he wanted to match the similarities to his own hand writing, but also because it was proof that Lily had lived, that Lily Evans Potter had lived and experienced life, he had just not been apart of it.

I don’t have anything against Jegulus or its shippers. Do what you do and keep slaying with these fics and fanart.

HOWEVER I love the idea of Lily and James being the og healthy ally heteronormative couple. They would be the parents of them all. I also love the idea of both of them being bisexual and having late night talks about their celebrity crushes ect.

Regulus, in my opinion and lil headcanon in my head, is a perfect character to be aroace. I NEED THIS REPRESENTATION PLEASE.

I am sick of aroace characters being all sweet and innocent and ehhhh. I need a badass, hot and traumatized aroace.
