Thanks for the ask :) i'll try and incorporate more of Warren. I always find it hard to write scenarios and hc of people with canon love interest/partners because i feel like such a homewrecker!

Jake Kim

So much guilt at seeing you getting hurt regardless of whether it was a direct consequence of being with him or not.

Starts doubting the relationship. Not because he doesn't love you, because he does. So so much. But your safety is his number one concern and he would rather lose you than put you in any more danger.

The guilt piles on when he realises that you are consoling and comforting him, when it should be the other way round. You talk to him and tell him that there's nowhere else you'd rather be than by his side. The remorse lessens, ever so slightly.

While you're recovering, Jake clears his schedule to make sure he can spend all his time with you. Puts on an extra brave face to make you smile and laugh at his silliness. Laughter is meant to be the best medicine, after all.

In the meantime, there are strict orders to the rest of the crew to make sure that the person pays for what they have done to you.

Samuel Seo

After making sure you're ok and well on your way to recovery, the first thing he would do is find out exactly who injured you and where they are.

Doesn't care about exactly why you are injured, just that the person is punished for harming you. How dare they harm what is his. How dare they even touch you.

The second thing he does is grab his brass knuckles to rain hellfire. He doesn't involve anyone else. It's personal. Samuel does all the talking with his punches until they are left dead, or wishing they're dead.

Insecurities and doubts start to kick in after the dust has settled. Why isn't he strong enough to protect you in the first place? Your words of reassurance, as usual, always does wonders for his inferiority complex. He would be lost without you by his side.

Doesn't let you out of his sight when you are healing, and completes all his work from home. You're touched. You know how ambitious he is, so to put you above everything else shows how much he loves you.

Warren Chae

Completely shaken up by what has happened. No doubt he will exact his revenge but will be left traumatised by the incident.

He swore to protect you and he's failed to do so? How could he think of himself as your partner. What's the point in telling people about his wins/losses/draws? The stupid ratio doesn't matter if he loses you.

Struggles with omitting words even more after this, and trains harder than ever to get stronger. Absolutely dotes on you 24/7 until you are better and also beyond.

Similar to Jake and Samuel, you need to comfort and console him about his insecurities. How you can't plan for every eventuality, Warren can't be with you all the time even if he tries. Together, you build his confidence back up.

The first time he speaks to you in a full sentence again, you cry. He didn't think it was possible to love you anymore.

Gun Park

Immediately checks that it's not fatal. If it is, he will rush you to emergency care. If not, then he will be chasing after the attacker.

Either way, it all ends up the same way for the person who hurt you. There is no mercy, he will burn the place down to the ground to find out who it is and kill them. If they're affiliated with someone, then consequences be damned.

If by some stroke of luck they manage to evade Gun, then he will happily spend the rest of his life tracking them down.

Surprisingly caring when you are recovering, making sure your every need and whim is tended to. To be honest, gets extremely overbearing. You wouldn't be allowed to go to the bathroom on your own if you didn't insist.

This side of him doesn't come out often though so you try and take advantage. Gun knows this and lets you anyway.

Goo Kim

Absolute seek and destroy. Goo hates people touching things that are his. There is no way whoever harmed you is getting away, and especially not with a painless death.

The sadistic side of his character really comes out. He wants to see your attacker beg for death. For every moment left in their pitiful life to be hell on earth. To see the light finally go out in their eyes. And he wants to be responsible for all that.

A complete 180 from this is the way he is with you when you are recovering. Your every wish is his command.

Goo will stick to your side like the strongest superglue known to mankind. You are never getting a moment of peace for the foreseeable. It's annoying and cute in equal measures.

Underneath the clinginess is a whole lotta love and worry, so you take it in stride.

Out of all the amazing scenes in this drama, this one is tied with the scar kissing scene as my favorite.

He comes in and massages her arm, which is sore after all the work (because she cut her hair as gesture of cutting her ties with her monster father and walked out and he took her to live where he does) and she asks about him sleeping.

The way he asks about the arrow wound she took to save him! It's such a reminder to both of them that there is at least one person he can utterly trust, the daughter of his greatest enemy, the man who caused all his nightmares.

He really reveals his deepest traumas to her...

And she puts his head on her shoulder and tells him to have a good dream. And he falls asleep and doesn't wake up even when she strokes his face. He doesn't just love her, he needs her for his sanity and even for his physical well-being. And how far they've come from those days when he came back seeking vengeance and yet it feels organic.

1. Wolf (2006)

In the 2006 Korean drama Wolf, Eric Mun, a beloved figure in the Korean entertainment scene, was originally cast to portray Bae Dae-chul. The storyline revolved around a romantic rivalry between Bae Dae-chul and Han Ji-soo, played by Han Ji Min, both vying for the affection of Yoon Sung-mo, portrayed by Uhm Tae Woong.

I liked the series. It made me smile, it made me cry. Some things felt unrealistic but we forgive them as an audience captivated by the development of the characters that struggle to break from the darkness in their hearts and lives. . . Goodness outlives the darkness when people are surrounded by a caring support group, those that love you and you love back.

I really liked the story.

Lookism characters go on a trip to the mountains, pt. 3!

Warren & Sally & Eli

-The idea of mountain trip came from Derek and Max. They wanted to go away from the constant stress they’ve been under since Eli’s come back and relax a little. Originally, they were going to join in too, but something came up for them and they were unable to come. So they promise to take care of Yena and send them off.

-All of them over-prepare in different areas.

-Eli brings too much food, Warren brings too much water, Sally brings too much of everything.

-For a while, nothing happens. They are having fun, Sally taking pictures every five minutes, Warren striking a pose every time she takes one of him and Eli just looking around, amazed at the views and sometimes snapping pictures too.

-They end up lost after a hour because for all their preparations, they forgot to bring a map with them.

-Sally suggests that they backtrack their steps and return to the beginning with that and they try that.

-They get even more lost.

-Warren tries to climb a tree and see where they are from up high. He fails spectacularly. A branch he tries to climb break and he falls down on a cluster of nettles. Needles to say he is itchy all over.

-Fortunately Sally brought a cream for skin irritation with her and helps him.

- Meanwhile Eli tries to climb a tree too and he succeeds. It helps with nothing because he can see only more trees around them.

-They decide to just go in the direction which leads up. Somehow, after three hours try menage to find a path again.

-Sally asks next person they meet along the way if she could snap a photo of their map. A photo of map is obtained. Warren looks at Sally with a very smitten and dazed gaze for next ten minutes, until he walks into a tree and snaps out of it.

-They menage to make it to the top after that.

-They have a room reserved in the inn on the top. When they come in to the room, there are only two beds in there. Warren and Sally spend next ten minutes being flustered about it and very red on the face. Eli gets fed up with them and says that they will be sleeping in beds and he will be sleeping on the floor. He leaves no room up to discussion on it.

-After a bath, they lay down and turn off the lights, but they don’t go to sleep just yet. They end up talking and reminiscing for quite some time, having fun time just talking to each other in the dark.

-Next day they buy a real map from the inn and get down the mountain without much problems.

-When they return, Eli prints out some photos Sally and him took, creates an album with them and  gives them to Derek and Max as a thanks for taking care of Yena and organizing the trip for them. They are both very touched by this.

-All of them are well rested, relaxed and in good moods for a whole week after that trip.

Mini-review:

I feel like I was one of the few people that really enjoyed Part I and actually preferred it to the original. I hated the writing in the original show (I am a native Spanish speaker) and couldn't make it past the first few episodes, even though I found the story interesting. Now, thanks to this Korean remake, at least I can see how said story develops. Just like in the first part, this is a really fun and entertaining thriller with great acting, even if it requires you to suspend your disbelief a lot of the time. I'm really glad the writers wrapped up pretty much every plot thread, cause it makes the show a very satisfying watch. Like I said, the cast is amazing, but special kudos go to Park Hae Soo, who's clearly one of the best actors in the world.
