You people know that people who aren't racially white or Caucasian have lighter skin, right?
did I ever say the poll was about race? it literally just says 'what is ur skin color' the comment of 'these results are uh... hm.' was mostly a joke about what the obvious conclusion is, even though that conclusion is wrong for so many reasons from sample size to sample bias to ethnicity not equaling skin color, as well as the fact that it implies tumblr users are shut-ins, regardless of race
but also I was making a joke on tumblr so I probably should have realized I should not do that lol

I just wanted to ask if the bp LIs would still love me even if I’m conventionally unattractive. I just see them complimenting MCs looks a lot and I just wanted to know. TY!! :)
I've myself dated many conventionally unattractive people, but still called them handsome and sexy and all that because that is truly how I felt. It's to the point that a lot of my close friends have called my exes ugly or fat or gross, and it hurts my feelings every time. Not for shame for dating them, but discouragement that people I care about can be so cruel to each other
A person becomes uniquely lovely when you have them in your heart -- so, yes, they would still compliment the person they like, regardless of what their features were. Because they are gorgeous to them

Hey, I've asked this question before but I will ask again. How did you learn to find your art style? Like how did you learn to draw?
<:)? I don't know what kind of answer you're expecting, since my answer is usually mostly the same each time someone asks!!
I drew bad for a long time!! I continue to draw bad!
Every time I try to draw something new I've never drawn before, it's bad the first few times. That's just a part of the process.
Tumblr media
And then, I do research online, look at reference images, look at other artists and see how they choose to tackle things, learn and then adapt to a style that I prefer better.
I practice. I draw every day. I beat my head against the wall until something looks sort of presentable.
Don't forget, each time you see a post by me, that art is just one single successful attempt at drawing compared to the 15+ sketches that weren't good enough to continue.
Sorry if this isn't what you wanted to hear 😅

Does Nightmare need to get used to be in the Passive form? I mean I know he missed to be in her old form. Is there any chances that he can get beck to his old form back?
There are definitely things to get used to! For instance, he gets cold easier, and he’s a bit more sensitive to touch and textures and what not (Mentioned this before, by far one of the biggest things to get used to is his lack of tentacles- and he’s a bit shorter, which he personally finds annoying)
As far as getting his old form back goes, I’m not sure! If it is a possibility, I doubt it will be explored in this comic. There’s a chance, but I wouldn’t count on it
Tumblr media
Anywho, on the topic of NM getting cold- have some old sketches of a cloak for him

I think the Ferrari PR kicking in almost like a trauma response makes it funnier. Maybe we’ll see next year though once Carlos has switched teams whether he’s allowed to speak his mind.

By the end of the story, I stopped being a bkdk shipper because Hori made it seem so one-sided on Bakugo's side. Does Izuku even care about him or think about him by the end of the story? He seemed to care more for Ochako and even Iida. Meanwhile Bakugo and Izuku didn't even have an actual resolution on anything, never had a decent reciprocated convo and Izuku doesn't even acknowledge anything Bakugo did. In the last chapter, he becomes a very passive character. He doesnt even try to be a hero until the class hands him the suit. He doesnt even have on screen convos with anyone besides AM. Hori's writing was so weak for his character and relationships with others at the end.
I’m sorry you felt that way, I guess? They had a resolution, and I honestly think it was the best one in the series because Hori didn’t have to outright explain it in text for it to have the emotional impact it had.
Their whole thing was fixing their relationship and learning to become heroes who save and win simultaneously, instead of one or the other. Which they did, in narrative terms.
Also things don’t have to be said out loud to just be understood/implied. Deku watching Katsuki cry with tears in his eyes is a sign of care. The way he reacted to seeing Katsuki’s body is a sign of care. Shigaraki calling Katsuki the closest person to him, is proof that people in the story can see their relationship through implication just fine. Also, does the cover to volume 37 just mean nothing?
All of those implications, plus the other implication that Izuku doesn’t like thinking about how he feels when it comes to Katsuki, nor does he like acknowledging it unless he absolutely he has to. It’s not a writing flaw on horikoshis part, it’s an intentional character flaw that never showed signs of having development, because its development wouldn’t have been important to the overall story. It’s just something we’re supposed to notice and it’s made decently obvious that this is the case considering DvK2 and his vigilante arc, the latter especially.
When Katsuki being stabbed actually happened, you can tell it affected Izuku way more than Aizawa and Torinos injuries and he literally almost died cuz of his reaction to it, yet he pushes it to the back of his mind when he leaves UA after writing a letter to Katsuki that was different than everyone else’s. Or after Katsuki apologized, we get no internal thoughts about him like we did for the rest of the class when the retrieval arc happened, yet Izuku ends up stumbling and falling into Katsuki’s arms as opposed to literally anyone else’s. Not to mentions the fourth episode of the memories recap in the anime, solidifying this theory by giving him PTSD about Katsuki being stabbed. Also:
Tumblr media
It’s said in text… “…somewhere deep inside…” meaning it’s intentionally not on the forefront of his mind. Also I think the 1:1 translation to this scene, he described his feelings as “gross,” meaning he’s somewhat ashamed of them.
Also is Izuku supposed to just not care about his other friends? Iida and Ochako were literally his first real friends, of course Hori is gonna highlight them in the end.
Izuku is passive in the end, because he’s always been a passive character. It’s just apart of his personality. And he doesn’t try to be a hero for several years, because wtf is he supposed to do? In the society they live in, you really can’t fight criminals without a quirk unless you fight hand to hand, which won’t work against people with quirks who don’t care about fighting fair. It’s not like he could’ve gotten his own suit on a teachers salary. He doesn’t try because he just accepts and appreciates that it was a short lived dream that he got the chance to actually live.
There’s less focus on Izuku’s development and his relationships with the people around him, because Izuku’s the only character that didn’t “need” development because he’s already a “perfect hero” by Japanese standards. He’s kind, driven, respectful, and sacrificial. The only development he has and needed for the sake of the story was trying to be more confident in himself, and letting himself accept help from others. Everything other flaw, is purely personal to him. Other characters bring up his flaws to him in the story, but no one can make him consider changing those flaws except for him, because those flaws only affect him, and his biggest flaw is that he literally does not take himself into account for anything. He doesn’t care about making himself happy. It is literally purposeful.
Now, I think the epilogue in general was just rushed and I do wish he was able to having meaningful conversations with more characters, like todoroki and his mother, but I don’t think those open doors lessened the integrity of the entire frame. I do wish he had a conversation with Katsuki, but I also understand that it wasn’t really needed either. It’s not a slice of life, after all. The only thing I think we didn’t get the best conclusion on, is bkdks handhold.
Also saying Izuku doesn’t care about Katsuki is such a weird take ajdnejdn
THAT. IS. SO. FUNNY!!

Reading your anons and your answers I think the problem with those fans is that they only accept a character if it's involved with satoru.
Like, apparently you are not allowed to like Sukuna anymore nor like both yuji and sukuna, but you were only allowed to like AND analyze Sukuna when he was fighting Satoru loool
I'm sorry but Sukuna is more than that, sukuna doesn't need THAT fight to be a character in his own, Sukuna also kept analyzing and having cool moments with other characters, just because your favorite character was dead doesn't mean other things stopped existing. This is one of those cases where fans keep thinking the manga is about some secondary character
hi, anon. thank you so much for this ask. i'm going to follow this up by making an unnecessarily long and ranty post nobody's going to bother to read, but i felt the overwhelming need to go in-depth for this anyways. apologies for the length of this.
to start off, i'm going to point out something that will probably get me a lot of hate or at least criticism from gojo fanatics, but i think it should be said for all those out there who keep twisting jkk to fit their own problematic concept of morals.
so we all know sukuna is the big bad of jjk. he's the main antagonist, the evil cannibal monster, a god of chaos and apathy and murder. i'm not here to argue against this, though. it's been clear from the beginning sukuna is a true villain in all of his actions and beliefs. however, we really need to look at the contexts behind how he became such a monster and consider if he's actually the most "evil" sorcerer/curse in the jujutsu world or not.
i'm going to address the underlying problem with the pro-gojo/anti-sukuna fans who twist the story to suit their own views first.
so gojo was born with a tremendous amount of power, so much that he's been branded the strongest jujutsu sorcerer of the modern age. he literally shifted the flow of cursed energy and from the start was set apart from others. it's truly terrifying how much power he has...
so it's a good thing he's a real sweet and caring guy, right?
if only.
gojo is irredeemably self-absorbed, unhealthily egotistical, obsessed with his own abilities, demeaning and insulting to others, brutal to his students and dismissive of their safety, and more than willing to commit mass murder.
when fighting with jogo, for example, he doesn't seem bothered at all by the massacre of innocent people during their battle, and is even willing to sacrifice bystanders all in the name of winning.
he's displayed this same kind of general apathy for the lives of others in his past as well.
Tumblr media
in his past arc, it was geto who saved gojo from becoming an actual villain and instead managed to set gojo on the path of becoming the slightly less evil antihero he is today. however, after riko's death, the experience turned both of them on each other as they settled on opposite sides of "good vs evil."
without geto there to guide him, though, gojo would have easily lost his way and turned evil .... so where was a person like that for sukuna?
the jujutsu world is extremely heartless and obsessed with strength. the jujutsu higher-ups were willing to kill yuuji - an innocent teenager who just happened to become dangerously involved with the world of curses and the host of sukuna - as well as risk the health and safety of countless others, sorcerers and normal people alike. the whole jujutsu world is full of corruption and cold, cruel people.
but this is just in the modern world - during the golden age of jujutsu, in the heian era, conditions were even harsher and crueler than they are now. during this time, existence for regular people in japan was demanding, quality of life was very low, and so many died of sickness and starvation. the amount of curses that arose from all this suffering was immense and required the extreme powers of sorcerers to balance it out.
this is the context of sukuna's birth. he came into this world as a child of a starving mother and he himself would have starved if he didn't consume his twin in the womb.
during his conversation with kashimo, who asks if sukuna was born with that much power or if he gained it throughout his life, sukuna himself seems to not know. all he can say is... he was an unwanted wretch.
Tumblr media
societal demands and religious fights back then would have led to an overwhelming stigma and dehumanization of anything that people feared or didn't understand... which probably means that sukuna, who was able to be born from the act of eating his own unborn twin, was seen as monstrous from the day of his birth on. and if he was indeed born with such strength and a body merged with that of his twin's, or at least the compacity to become that, he was also most likely villainized for his nature as well.
where gojo was more embraced and highly coveted by the jujutsu world, the world sukuna was born into most likely shunned him and led him to adapt the kind of mindset he has now.
sukuna sees strength as the only means of survival, rising above the cruelty shown to him to become the cruelest himself. this philosophy, which a lot of people at this time believed in - especially in the jujutsu world - shows us that sukuna probably saw his own really option to endure was to become a monster. those at the top are above all the weak feelings and suffering of the ones beneath, after all, or so he believes.
and it seems like so many of the strongest sorcerers still believe in that concept as well. both yorozu and gojo thought they could reach sukuna by challenging him, but in the end... only yuuji ever connected with the king of curses.
(yes i will fit sukuita in here... even if you don't ship them romantically, it's an undeniable fact that their relationship is much more complex than it seems and that yuuji does in fact care for the very monster he's supposed to destroy.)
when sukuna's dying in chapter 268, yuuji makes it clear that he's willing to serve the kind of caring, understanding role in sukuna's life that was most likely never given to him.
Tumblr media
instead of dehumanizing sukuna, yuuji actually accepts that sukuna turned out to be the monster he is and says it was all a matter of chance how they became like this.
this a level of empathy, intimacy, and compassion that someone like gojo (and pretty much the vast majority of jjk characters) could never show. sukuna himself seems at a loss for words for this unbelievably caring treatment from yuuji - he's even surprised enough to use the brat's full name.
and i dislike that fans are starting to twist this interaction between them to make it fit their own views of sukuna and gojo.
look, i like gojo objectively. he's a fine enough character and serves an important role in jjk. i'm not against him or his fans, and i certainly don't want to hurt or make light of other people's feelings towards him. however, i do want to point something out that some fans should really know better. so many antis are against us sukuita shippers and/or sukuna fans and their main argument, over and over again, is how evil and monstrous sukuna is and that gojo is obviously better in every way. they claim that because gojo is on the side of good, it means sukuna is the worst in terms of morals (when villains like kenjaku are arguably just as terrible if not more so but dismissed so easily) we are delusional or wrong for sympathizing with sukuna.
so i would like to say to these people... please stop using these pallid, baseless arguments against us sukuna lovers because they're just so inaccurate and keep misunderstanding the whole story. it's more than okay to have your own headcanons and depictions of a fictional character, whether they're sukuna or gojo or any of the others - but do not force that depiction on others and do not force your interpretation of the source material on us just to appease your own opinions.
please be more respectful to others, please keep your own dislikes to yourself instead of lashing out at other fans you could instead just avoid, and please stop being so mean to gege. whether or not he makes gojo return should not be a reason to spread such hate about him. it's disrespectful towards both him and all writers who work so hard to make the content you treat so harshly.
thank you.

LITERALLY 💀 emote inspiration discourse is some of the dumbest shit I've ever heard. Toyhouse/the character design community has this problem, too. How are u gonna gatekeep people being inspired by ur work? Art inspires art, and creativity breeds creativity. If u dont want people being inspired by ur shit, A. Dont fucking post it? And B. That goes against everything about art, howre u fr gonna take away the fundamental liberty and joy of creating things?
People r totally free to be upset at people copying them or tracing or claiming their ideas as their own or wtv, but INSPIRATION? 💀
People who make emotes on tumblr ain't shit either man like u dont got any authority to be stopping people from being inspired off u, ur just a whimsy-killer.

People are mad about RDJ casting for the incorrect reasons
Everyone strap in for a one-way ticket to Opiniontown, USA:
Seeing that RDJ's been cast as a variant Doctor Doom is so disappointing for reasons I've seen almost nobody discuss.
No, it's not "unimaginative". Alternate universes and other 'what-if's exist, in large part, to provide insight into the main universe - what if something had gone slightly differently? How much would change? (For a very successful example of this, DC's Elseworlds gave us Red Son, where Superman landed and was raised in the Soviet Union instead of middle America. I recommend giving it a read.)
And talking specifically about tumblr, where fanfiction is rampant, we are very familiar with AUs and how they can be a vehicle for character analysis. Put those blorbos in a different situation. Shake the jar. Examine. Take notes.
So, Tony as Doctor Doom. It's not that's it's "unimaginative", it's that it's going to be squandered.
Tony Stark is a rich, charismatic inventor who is too self-assured. He starts off extremely nationalistic and unafraid of violence. He is constantly teetering on the edge of Too Much.
Guys you will never guess what Dr. Doom is like!
Doctor Doom is also a brilliant, self-assured inventor! He also has a savior complex! He also tries to solve his problems with hordes of violent robots! If Tony was never kidnapped and thrown in a cave with a human embodiment of a conscience, guess who he might have grown up to resemble!
Dr. Doom is basically a Tony who never had a Pepper. Who never met, or lost, Yinsen. Like every Marvel character, there's lots of variations to his backstory, but he's essentially alone and sure of himself and ready to burn the world down for his beliefs and sleep like a baby every night after he does it. Seeing a world where Tony put on a different metal mask and started fighting for a world where he was in charge would be fucking interesting.
I would like to see the character analysis of Tony Stark, who was initially made more or less as a test of fan's loyalty, and see him be really held under the lens of "how much does this guy have the capacity to suck, and how much did he already suck". I would like to see the other characters have to struggle with having to fight an evil version of their dead friend. I would like to see a Marvel movie that really actually looks back at Ultron and then at the Doom Bots and goes "oh, yeah, same fucking hat".
I would like to see a Tony Stark who became Doctor Doom learn that there is a world where he became Iron Man. Would he be jealous of the man with a found family, or hate him for the naivite of their cause?
The problem is, I don't trust Marvel to do ANYTHING INTERESTING with this. Winter Soldier was 10 years ago and we're about to have a Captain America movie with a fucking Israeli superhero played straight. The scripts are bad, the pacing is bad, the final choices are bad. Whoever pitches the solid ideas like this AU idea loses control of the ball like 4 yards down the line, and it never concludes with any of the interesting ideas that must have gone in initially. They are going to burn 50% of the movie on pithy one-liners and Doom Bot fight scenes that reek of CGI crunch stress.
I am sad about RDJ being cast because it's a great idea that will be completely squandered. This could be so interesting and so fucked up. Everyone loves dunking on Tony, but nobody's interested the juxtaposition of his character with a notorious supervillain that's basically him with a green cape slapped on. Fucking come on. Be mad about this for the right reasons. They won't do it justice.

to say it's unnecessary and to conclude that "it's your story so wtv" is so passive and rude. if you don't like something, no need to read it. it was just a thought, so no need to feel entitled over the storyline when you clearly said "it's your story."
i'm not sure what you mean by time to time, but forbes30 in all its entirety is him choosing the reader — the reader isn't the one left behind, she chose to leave him. I've provided that for you, so what's wrong with taking a spin on it, without having satoru involved?? though I have a lot of people who love satoru on this blog, doesn't mean I can't explore and write for other characters. you say it's cliche, but sorry to tell you but forbes gojo in itself is also a very cliche fanfic.
the only reason why I thought it would be interesting to write about the other woman is because of the angst potential but also the growth she can go through as a character. fun fact: getting dumped isn't a fanfic thing. you learn through break ups and you become stronger. gojo wouldn't be the protagonist here but another male character, since he's already out of the picture in her life. if you just see her as the "other woman Satoru left behind" then sure, but that's not me.
it was really just a thought, and it's not like I started writing anything for it. I'm not here to argue about my ideas and what I find interesting. if you don't find it "necessary" for what I write, then don't read it and follow someone else that suits your tastes.
