"Went home sick one day from work and woke up to my girlfriend telling me there was a pedal board by the dumpster at our complex nearly sprinted out of my place to go save this from the trash, it's an Ibanez demo bord from the 70's. All the pedals worked besides the flying pan, had an in and out on either side, pretty much this would be set up at a music shop to try different effects."
I put together a new pedalboard for my guitar, please ignore how hideous I look it is too hot here for too long now. I am excited about the sounds and wanted to share!
All I want to make right now are these gooey noisy chord / drone / texture things that slowly shift and evolve. No melody, no meter. Pure sound bath, dumb and beautiful.
The video features 100% wet Mood MKII using the “drip” delay to pitch everything down and chop it up. There’s no raw tape in the mix, it is all Mood (in spread mode btw, turn your phone sideways for stereo stuff).
In addition to photography, I am a dedicated student of guitar. Here in this image are both my endeavors presented simultaneously. This is a pedal board which is used to affect the tonality of my electric guitar. I shot this with my new Leica Q3 with an f stop of 1.7 to capture the Summilux's capability of creating an image with a narrow depth of field. The color rendering of the Q3 is quite beautiful too...
