Penny Haywood is the most popular girl in her class at Hogwarts, as well as one of Carewyn Cromwell’s oldest friends. Carewyn has never entirely understood what someone like Penny found interesting in the self-conscious, overly sensitive girl she used to be. If one were to ask Penny herself, she’d probably say that, when she saw Carewyn protect her friends from Merula Snyde, she could instantly tell that the Slytherin had a very noble, kind heart and was a fierce friend, two things Penny greatly esteemed and only cherished more as she and Carewyn got older. During their school careers, Penny was the friend who encouraged Carewyn to socialize and even got her into Quidditch friendlies, which introduced her to her surrogate twin Charlie Weasley; her future boyfriend of two years Andre Egwu; and her future romantic partner Orion Amari, among others. When it came to which friend Penny shared her problems with, Carewyn was always the first person she went to -- the resident “Mama Bear” would always know just what to do and what to say to make everything better, not just because of her cool head under pressure, but because of her immense sensitivity and concern for her friends’ well-being. They’d known each other long enough that Penny never felt like she had to be perfect and smiling all the time around Carewyn. Sadly the feeling wasn’t mutual on Carewyn’s side. Although Penny knew Carewyn longer than many of their friends, she truthfully didn’t understand how many demons Carewyn was fighting behind the scenes the way Carewyn’s best friend Rowan did or even others like Ben Copper, Talbott Winger, and Bill and Charlie Weasley sensed. It was only when Carewyn accidentally lashed out during a fight between Penny and her sister Beatrice in their sixth year that Penny began to think that she might’ve been asking way too much of Carewyn without ever checking to see if Carewyn needed her the same way, let alone question Carewyn’s answer if she declined any offer of help. But even once Penny had this thought, she had no idea how to approach it, not wanting to hurt Carewyn further by forcing her to talk about things she clearly didn’t want to talk about. After Rowan Khanna’s death, however, Penny resolved to correct the power imbalance in their friendship, and she came to support Carewyn the way her friend always had for her previously through her membership in the Circle of Khanna.

Oregon’s Relationship Timeline

2nd - First Few Chapters of 5th is when Oregon is dating Penny. They’re both each other’s “awakening” and have a very wholesome relationship but it totally has “i would kill for you” undertones. 5th year is when Oregon gets closer to Ismelda and they date throughout that year, both of them using Barnaby as a cover up. Their relationship is wholesome yet star-crossed because the Murks give me very “i’m not homophobic or anything, i just don’t support the lifestyle” vibes. The two of them have a smooth breakup at the end of Year 5, after the Portrait Vault. Their breakup isn’t mutual but Oregon is naturally very understanding so she accepts that Ismelda needs to take some time off from dating. They remain friends after. After having detention with Jae for an entire year the two grow a lot closer than just friends once Ismelda has broken up with Oregon. These two are both naturally mischievous and are people people so their relationship is very fun but not the kind of unsustainable fun that one would associate with a summer fling, no. This kind of fun is one that you would associate with an old married couple or newlyweds. This relationship is going to last and everyone around them can see it.

The year is 1999 and the war is over, but the scars and strings left behind still need to be sort through. During the war, the MC's legilimency was sought out for, but now she uses it to help investigate different murder cases by exploring people's memories and dreams to find clues. With Talbott's help as the physical detective who goes to the actual crime scenes for clues, the crew works together to stop a serial killer who is preying on half bloods.

It has been 8 years since the gang graduated from Hogwarts, and many of the characters' lives are very different. One of the biggest changes is dealing with the loss of Tonks.

The MC's relationship with Merula is complicated as ever, but things have always been chaotic for them.

Headcanons and Band Pics Under the Cut

Headcanons

The band is called “Wreaking Havoc” because all of the members are pretty mischievous, even if they don’t show it *cough* Penny *cough*.

It’s also called “Wreaking Havoc” because Oregon’s last name is Havoc and she’s the lead singer.

Dennis sits on the side of the stage at all of their performances.

Oregon is the lead singer and plays backup guitar(acoustic).

Penny is the backup singer.

Chiara plays the drums.

Tonks plays the keyboard.

Tulip plays the bass.

Yes, when the song calls for an acoustic guitar she does sit on a stool like a fucking indie kid.

But when she’s not playing the guitar she’s on roller skates.*

On each album one(or more) of the members writes a little note that’s printed on the back like it’s in sharpie(it is in sharpie on the band’s copy)

After playing with “The Weird Sisters” in her second year, Oregon gets their advice on lots of things having to do with the band.

Myron’s advice is a big part of their success(The collabs come in handy as well).

The band’s genres are synth pop electropop, and indie pop.

Oregon also plays spoons but not in the band.

Penny plays the piano but not in the band.

Tulip has tried to teach Oregon how to play the bass but she just. cannot.

Oregon has a habit of bringing people up on stage to dance with them. They almost always go back into the crowd a blushing mess.

Oregon calls Ismelda “Izzy”.

Penny’s real name is Penelope.
