We all probably know a glory hole is a place, typically in a bathroom, where people can pay for an anonymous sexual encounter. Here's what I didn't know before digging into this kink a lot more, though!

Glory holes have been used for hundreds of years but are believed to have originated or grown most popular among the LGBTQIA community. It was a safe way for closeted members of the community to be able to have sex with someone without risking their identity being revealed. Glory holes have resurged in popularity since 2020 due to the CDC and WHO being unable to provide people with ideas for safe sex during the Covid 19 pandemic. Typically, oral is what commonly happens with glory holes, but modern motivation and technology have made so much more possible with them, allowing both parties to receive pleasure and enjoy the experience.

The appeal of glory holes is the anonymous aspect of it. Sex with a stranger is always more thrilling, right? There's no expectations. You aren't as focused on impressing them. OLD FICS REPOSTING

STARTING MONDAY, JULY 8...

I will begin reposting my three completed long fics. These are multi-chaptered fics that I wrote between 2015 and 2018. Please note, these are all Harry x OC fics, two are AUs and one is Real Harry.

I WILL BE POSTING ONE CHAPTER OF EACH FIC PER DAY. So, you can follow along easily or wait til the end and binge them all.

Below is a brief synopsis of each fic, along with warnings. ALL THREE ARE OLDER WOMAN OCs. If this is not your thing, or it turns you off, PLEASE do not read. I got hate for these in the past (and some snarky comments on Wattpad), and I am just too old and tired to defend them anymore. In my opinion, the age thing shouldn't matter, but I would rather put it out there first before I get messages about it.

Just PLEASE REMEMBER TO BE KIND. I have a heart just like everybody else, and I am sensitive. I enjoy interacting with readers and other writers. Feedback is always appreciated, but rude comments will be blocked.

Summary: After a few years of being a housewife, Tisa Jordan decided to go back to school. Hoping to find inspiration and a new direction in life, she didn't expect to meet Harry Styles, a handsome British twenty-year-old.

When It Was Written: I started this fic around the end of 2014 when I'd just become a Harry fan, and it was completed in 2015. It was my very first Harry fic.

The Characters and Face Claims: This Harry is 20 (he turns 21 at the end), and Tisa is 32. The girl for the face claim of Tisa was just a model in a random stock photo I found, so I don't know who she is. The character Zack is based on Zayn, and Penny is based on Perrie Edwards. Also, I think I used Ashton Irwin for the face claim of Joey, Liam for Grayson, Olivia Wilde for Justine (complete coincidence, I promise lol), Renee Olstead for Liz, and Lea Michele as Britney. I did not use a face claim for James.

When It Was Written: This was started in 2015 and finished in 2017 (it was on hold off and on for a while). It started really with just the urge to write about a cocky Harry and eventually turned into a long story. There is a lot of smut, but it ends up having a lot of drama as well.

The Characters and Face Claims: So, as you can see from the cheeky lil summary, this is written in two points of view. This Harry is based on 2013 Harry, so he's 19. Roni is 27. I don't believe I used any face claims for any of the other characters.

Warnings: age gap (older woman), smut, angst (LOTS) * Just want to add that in both this fic and the one above, the characters have unprotected sex. This was simply an oversight on my part. I was married when I wrote these and had not used a condom in years, so it was simply not on my mind. I got called out for it, don't worry lol.

Summary: Stacey Barnett is a writer and a single mother. Her hands full with two daughters (one with special needs), a newly published novel, an extroverted best friend and a controlling ex-husband, the last thing she expects is to meet an international pop star.

When It Was Written: I started this story in 2016 when I was going through my own divorce, so it's very personal to me. I didn't actually finish it until 2019. Sometimes you write something that you think is going to be a big hit and when it's not, it kind of crushes your spirit. While I knew this was not for everyone, I think because it was so personal to me, it was hard for me to take any criticism (and it still is, tbh).

The Characters and Face Claims: This is the only one of the three that is about Real Harry. The story takes place when he's just released his first solo album, although in this he never cut his hair, and his movie (which is not named) came out before the album. The face claim for Stacey is Rachelle Lefevre. She is 40. Her bestie Lorelei's face claim is Tabrett Bethell. I did not use any other face claims, although most of the other characters are based on real people in my life - Stacey's daughters are mine, her mom is mine, and her ex-husband is mine. I just changed the names.

Warnings: age gap (older woman), smut, angst, mentions of divorce, autism (child), seizures (child), insecurities, flashbacks, nightmares, mental health issues * Again, this mentions a lot of personal issues I had and was going through at the time. I am not exaggerating when I say this is LOADED with angst. You will get angry at the characters, especially Stacey. But please remember to have a heart, because she's been through a lot and doesn't always react the way you think she should.

Alex is way to misogynistic to be chandlo, but this can be fixed through editing the dialogue.

Abigail: Liz

Abigail feels a bit too young for Liz to take her place, but other than that I feel she fits pretty well.

Elliot: Wiggle

I was originally gonna make Wiggle take Sam’s place, but this feels a bit more fitting, with the whole writers block thing and all. (Also I'm halfway done with her sprites and I don't want to redo them lol)

Emily: Shelda

Shelda and Beffica would still live in the same house. They’re not blood relatives, but Beffica sees her as a grandmother figure :0)

Haley: Beffica

It fits perfectly and you can’t convince me otherwise. They even share a love for photography!

Harvey: Eggabell

Again, fits pretty well. Apart from the whole pilot thing from Harvey’s storyline but oh well.

Leah: Wambus (and hopefully triffany, I don’t know how easy it is to mod an entirely new character in though. Maybe i can edit sandy into Triffany?)

Wambus feels kinda out of place but I literally have no other ideas for him lmao

(I know I could have Triffany take the place of a non romancable npc (like the museum guy or the island archeologist) but I don’t wanna separate her from everyone else? If that makes sense.)

I feel like Sam is “too cool” for Filbo, but I could probably change that through some edits to the dialogue.

Sebastian: Snorpy

I feel like Sebastian is a bit too “emo” for snorpy, but I could fix that through dialogue. The motorcycle part is a bit more out of character but oh well.

I feel like it could work with again, some dialogue edits.

Toxic home life, loves kids, kinda shy, he’s perfect to replace her lol. (I would say I don’t even need to edit his dialogue but I wanna keep his accent in...)

Krobus: Alegander or Snacksquatch (???)

I didn’t know who else to put for Krobus… I might not even touch him tbh. I feel like Alegander might work better replacing Mr Qi. now that I think about it...

Another idea was to replace Krobus with the Snacksquatch, because I think having it as a room mate would be silly :03 (Or maybe I could find a way to put triffany here??)

Notes:

*Npcs related to the bachelors/ bachelorettes would be original characters. Ex: Pam, Penny’s mom will be changed to Grambles mom, (or at least my interpretation of her) ect.)

*I wanna make all the characters are grumps, npcs, background characters ect. But the player character might be a bit too tricky…

*I’m probably gonna end up editing everyone’s dialogue in one way or another, to keep their characters intact. Writing in Wambus and Gramble’s accents shouldn’t be too hard for me, but I might fuck up a bit on Liz and triffany a little :'0)

*I might swap Floofty and Snorpy’s places?? I feel like it could work out either way but still.

What are your favourite character x character ships in Hphm??

Uuuuh I have some, let me explain a little bit:

1. Chiara x Jae (favourite tbh). Some headcanons:

Jae discovered Chiara's condition by logic and following her around a little bit. Chiara then confessed the truth to him.

Jae always got Chiara Wolf potion, no matter what he had to do

When Chiara is recovering at infirmary, he gets her some candies and company to help her feel better

Thay sometimes cook together at Hogwarts kitchens

Due to Jae's businesses, he sometimes gets injured. Chiara helps him recovering in secret.

2. Liz x Barnaby. Some headcanons.

I think they just started as good friends with a common passion: magical creatures

I really like the idea of them having a lot of secret dates in the Woods and hypogriff club

They could spent hours awake at night at the Slytherin common room talking about dragons

3. Talbott x Penny (kind of): Some headcanons:

Talbott and Penny meet cause Penny was tutoring him in potions

They started to talk more, eventually, they became really good friends

Talbott fell HARD for Penny for a lot of time

Penny never really showed romantic interest in him (Idk, I really always thought about Penny as a lesbian haha sorry)

Talbott was kinda hurt but never confessed anything to her, then, he just like, accepted it.

They just remain as very good friends

4. Tonks x Tulip. Some headcanons:

Tulip was kinda "iugh, love", then in 3 year she met Tonks and she was like "oh wow omg Tonks is soooooo cool"

The interest just grew but Tulip was still like "Oh nonono I don't fell for her I just think she is like really cool"

In fact, she fell for Tonks. REALLY HARD.

The chemistry between them is amazing, Tulip never really told her how she feel but you know, they were kinda in that mood but never official.

5. Ben x André (yeah a little bit out of nothing but hahahaha it's a strange ship I have. I don't have headcanons or proofs I just like them together)

6. Snape x Rakepick (yeah sorry late me explain):

I have this little headcanon were Snape was kinda attracted to Rakepick at first sight because you know, Rakepick kinda remind her of Lily

After learning what kind of person sshe was, he doesn't like her snymore

Summary: Penelope receives the voicemail, and the search begins. 

Word Count: 1k

Warnings: none that I can think of! Anything would be canon-typical. 

A/N: This is a little mini part before we get ready for the grand finale!

Penny got back to her desk to find a voicemail from an unknown number. She momentarily thought it was unusual, before realizing the team was in the mountains with little to no cell service. Rationalizing, she assumed that they would call from whatever number they could. She hadn’t heard from them in a long time, Not even email. Nothing from local PD.

She haphazardly clicks the voicemail on go, before gasping at Liz’s haggard voice. She spun around in her chair, nervous as all hell, hitting record on the voicemail so as not to miss anything that she was saying. Immediately regret hit her that she wasn’t there to answer the call to track her location, and she forwarded the message along to the team with a Bat-signal like urgency, hoping they could find them in time. 

“Hold on my cutie patooties!” She said, trying desperately to call them back. 

Meanwhile, at a police station in the middle of nowhere Colorado, a very stressed Rossi was hunched over crime scene files at the unfortunately not heated precinct conference room. Morgan was typing away on his computer at the other end of the table, begrudgingly bundled in several thin coats, having refused to pack anything heavier. The team had found that the officers at the precinct were unfortunately much less helpful than the park service had been, and that was saying something, considering neither were much help. 

Morgan always hated the winter, but especially after growing up in many harsh Chicago winters, but Colorado felt worse somehow. Maybe it was the bitter winds that accompanied it, but he sure as hell didn’t enjoy them. An email slid through into his inbox from Penelope, and he thanked whatever god was watching over them for a moment of internet service. Attached was an urgent request for help and an audio recording. 

“Rossi, you’ll want to see this.” He beckoned him over, hitting play on the recording, and Liz’s desperate cry for help played through the meager speakers of the ancient computer the precinct had offered them. He knew that Hotch and Liz had been gone for a little while, but he assumed that they had run into a lead and would tell them later. He never imagined them in such a dire situation. He looked up at Rossi, gauging his reaction, and waiting for him to make a decision. Rossi leaned his hands on the table, sighing deeply. He reset his shoulders before pushing off the table, exiting the conference room in a huff. 

“I want search teams out there with first aid supplies and working GPS yesterday! The state park is a wide expanse and we need as many people as we can on it. Get chopping, people!” Rossi entered the conference room again, sweeping his Italian parka over his shoulders, beckoning the rest of the team up with him. Derek followed Emily out of the precinct, jumping into an SUV parked outside before peeling away into the night. 

The drive felt harrowing, knowing that two of their own have been stuck out in the elements for a while. How long had they even been out there? All Emily knew is that she didn’t want to think about it. They had plenty of blankets stocked up in the back of the SUV to treat hypothermia and frostbite, they even had gauze to treat any wounds either of them could have had. Penelope’s audio recording said that they had found the unsub, but they didn’t know where they were. With how long they had been out there, how much of that was them moving? How far could they have gotten? She was grateful for the search and rescue dogs that seemed to be accompanying them now.

She looked to her left at Morgan’s silent driving, knowing that this potentially affected him more than it ever could with her. He had known both Hotch and Liz for longer than she had, and he and Liz were very close friends. He called her “Hot Stuff” or “sugarplum” on special occasions, rivaling in nicknames only second to Garcia. She could only imagine the mental turmoil that he was going through, his brows furrowed as he kept a tight-knuckled grip on the steering wheel. 

Looking back ahead, they skidded to a halt in the parking lot of one of the trailheads, noticing the identical abandoned SUV that must have been used by the two missing. Emily hopped out of the car, rushing to the door of the other car, looking inside to see what was still there and what was missing. 

“GPS is still there, flashlights are gone, and so are their phones. I don’t know if they’re getting any service out here though. Garcia said they called in from an unknown sat phone number.” Prentiss called out to Morgan behind her, and the other search and rescue members.

“Alright, we’re going to fan out. Does everyone have their radios and sat phones on them?” A collective nod resounded throughout the group as Morgan asked. “Alright, those with dogs I want everyone of you going in a different direction, north, south, east, west. Check in every ten minutes with your status. Get to it.” The group headed off into the thick foliage of the woods, snow crunching under boots and dogs barking and whining, trying to latch onto any form of a scent. Emily and Derek turned around in a circle, trying to determine which way to go. 

“If I were Liz….” Emily thought out loud, knowing she could struggle to put herself into the sniper’s shoes. “I would head somewhere high, or somewhere with a beaten path. I would need a good vantage point in order to see any buildings that might hide the victim.” 

“Good thinking, Prentiss. The snow covered many paths hours ago, so we should go to the high place.” So, they turned towards the west where the land made a turn upwards, hoping they would find them in time.

So I’m currently working on Diego and Veruca's ship content for their canon and AU versions. And my mind started going to ship names for other pairs and I was wondering what or how they would be called.

Diego and Veruca are obviously DieRuca. At the time of making their ship official I went the basic route by combining their names instead of a unique name that represents both characters. But now that the name has stuck, I ain’t changing it.

Like Carson and Tulip's ship name Glitter Bomb, which takes the glitter portion of Carson’s prank and the bomb part for Tulip's dungbomb prank. Combining their names was not an option because every combination I tried all sucked.

Then I got their AU ships: JaeRuca (Jae x Veruca), Charson/Carster (Chester x Carson), Shooting Stars (Skye x Veruca), Carmelda (Carson x Ismelda), and Crowan (Carson x Rowan)

Like Glitter Bomb, I need to make something with all these ships (´°̥̥̥̥̥̥̥̥ω°̥̥̥̥̥̥̥̥｀) but DieRuca has me in a chokehold

For canon x canon pairings like Diego and Ismelda, I thought Rose Thorn would suit them. You know, Diego being the rose and Ismelda being the thorn. Dielda and Ismego sounds kind of dumb so I don’t want to use them.

Jae x Chiara would be Jaeara I guess. I feel like they could get a unique ship name if I think hard enough of what represents these two.

Ben x Ismelda now that it’s officially canon（≧∇≦）Benmelda? Bemelda? IsBen? Besmelda?

Jeremy Hunt did his best to deploy a reassuring bedside manner. But the Conservative party’s surgeon came bearing bad news. He had seen the X-rays, and it all had to come out. Not just the obviously gangrenous parts of Liz Truss and Kwasi Kwarteng’s budget, like her corporation rate tax cut or the abolition of the 45p tax rate, but pretty much everything still within reach of his scalpel. Goodbye indefinitely, proposed penny off basic income tax; farewell, IR35 reforms to benefit self-employed contractors. Even Truss’s energy bill bailout – the one thing that was still popular when everything else had turned sour – will be universal only until next spring, after which it will be capped and targeted towards the most vulnerable.

More painful for the country, however, may be the news that this emergency surgery is just the start. There would be hard decisions on tax and spending to come in his full statement on 31 October, Hunt warned. In March 2020, Rishi Sunak promised to do “whatever it takes” to get us through Covid, which meant spending billions. Now Hunt is promising grimly to do whatever is necessary to restore market confidence, which means very much the opposite.

The new chancellor’s friends insist he isn’t after Truss’s job, even though he ran for it in the summer and is pretty much now doing it in all but name. Watching this statement, that seemed for a moment believable, for this was not the fiscal package of someone out to court popularity. By next April, middle-class traditional Tory voters will be facing soaring mortgages – spring will see peak numbers of borrowers coming off cheap fixed deals – just as their protection against soaring fuel bills ends, and they’re unlikely to reward the man who did it to them. But then again, perhaps Hunt is past caring about popularity with actual voters, since that’s arguably no longer the route to power in Britain.

Wake up, roll over, check the bond markets. This never used to be the morning routine for Westminster watchers but gilt yields are becoming a more accurate predictor of what’s about to happen than chuntering backbenchers. Politics now is just noise, the frantic buzz of flies battering themselves against a window, as Tory MPs argue about how to dispatch another broken leader. But economics is the signal, steady and clear, regardless of whether Truss stays or goes or who replaces her. The guiding purpose of British politics over the next five years, whether under Labour or Conservative rule, will be filling the £72bn black hole she blew in the public finances and restoring credibility with international lenders. Had she not sacked Kwarteng, an anonymous aide helpfully informed the Sunday papers, Truss would have faced the kind of Monday-morning rout on the bond markets that risked turning Britain into a “third world country”.

We are now the kind of country whose prime minister and chancellor are chosen to placate the markets – which as any Greek or Italian knows, means the kind of government forced to worry at least as much about their international creditors as their electorates, and prone to creating dangerously angry democratic deficits as a result. Truss was only ever elected prime minister by a handful of Tory members, and even they no longer have what they voted for.

But that’s tomorrow’s problem. Today’s was whether the sacrifice of Kwarteng would appease the gods and so far, at the time of writing, so good: pound up, bond yields down, message received and understood. Trussonomics is dead and there will be no more lurching changes of direction from Hunt, a naturally consensual operator willing to listen to the City and to his own civil servants at the Treasury, who is also capable of going on the telly without inadvertently precipitating some calamity that adds several hundred quid to your mortgage. The way he kept repeating the word “stability”, meanwhile, suggests that whatever Tory MPs or indeed a deeply humiliated Truss herself may want, Hunt and the circle of Sunak-backers around him think she has to stay on for now, if only to avoid the immediate chaos of a leadership contest or general election that may well fail to deliver a mandate for such bitter economic medicine.

Although austerity has effectively been imposed on this government, it still has a choice as to whether the belt-tightening is done primarily via spending cuts or tax rises. Hunt has hinted that he won’t repeat the Cameron/Osborne variant, in which spending cuts primarily affecting the poor did the heavy lifting. But he’s no Tory wet, and his final package is likely to include a lot of painful real-terms cuts to public services on which the most vulnerable rely, unconvincingly rebranded as “efficiency savings”. Years of grind lie ahead as Britain is called out not just for the madness of making Truss prime minister but before that the madness of Brexit, and perhaps also a more longstanding sense of decline.

For a good decade now, Britain has been behaving like an economic superpower without quite having the receipts to show for it. Other G7 countries emerging from an expensive pandemic have similarly unhealthy-looking debts, but the collapse in market confidence reflects deeper doubts about Britain’s political ability to get itself out of a hole, or even perhaps to grasp that it’s in one. A painful readjustment looms not just of the public finances, but of Britain’s idea of itself. This, as the doctor didn’t quite say, is going to hurt.
