Heroes & Villains The DC Animated Universe - Paper Cut-Out Portraits and Profiles
Warhawk
A stern and valiant warrior, Rex Stewart is the son of the Justice Leaguers John Stewart  and Shayera Hol.  Utilizing Thanagarian technology, he operated as the superhero known as Warkhawk and was a member of the Justice League of the future.
Brash and quick to anger, Warhawk was highly suspicious of Superman’s decision to ask Batman (Terry McGinnis) to join the League.  Superman had asked Batman to join so to investigate his suspicion that there was a traitor among their ranks.  Warhawk took great umbrage over being investigated and saw Terry as an untested and unwanted interloper.
His hotheadedness aside, Warhawk was also quite shrewd and cunning and he effectively out maneuvered a trap by sending his armor into battle via remote control and thus making it seem as though he had perished.  His feint allowed him and Batman to discern the true traitor, who turned out to be Superman under the control of Starro The Conqueror.   Once Starro was defeated and Superman was freed, Warhawk expressed begrudged admiration toward Batman and accepted having him as part of the team.
An adventure involving a disruption in the time stream caused by the villainous Chronos saw Warhawk meeting and fighting alongside a younger version of his father.
Actor Peter Onorati provided the voice for Warhawk, with the hero first appearing in the seventh episode of the third season of Batman Beyond, ‘The Call.’

Peter Onorati  Live on Game Changers With Vicki Abelson
SO FUN! Spending time with Peter Onorati is like going out in the bright sunshine after a month in a dark cave. Such joy! We talked Italy and the wondrous vacation he treated his immediate family to visiting their extended family in towns I’ve never heard of and can’t begin to pronounce. But, I wanna go! Then there was Ravello, Positano, SWAT recognition, Rome, truffles, and a funny one that once made it home. There’s funny all over the place with Peter.
A great story about Peter’s first son’s birth and his callback for Goodfellas - how he made the audition his - HISterical! And, a master class on how to make the audition yours… mine… ours… and some brilliant tips on acting, and reacting, in general.  He disappeared for about 2 1/2 minutes when his laptop died but came back with so much more fun.
Getting blacklisted by Les Moonves, the ER debacle, to Cop Rock, the best, as a non-singing actor hired to die, singing his ass off and becoming the central character of this historic iconic, ahead of its time, classic.
Closing with a Miss Yvonne, Lynne Stewart, request, Peter regaled us with his mother/wedding story -so timely as I ready to be the mother of my daughter the bride. I’ll be shutting up now.
What a great time. Someone, make him the updated, somehow related Columbo! He’d kill it! And SWAT, get hip, his fans want him back! And so do I. Any time!

A question: Are Pearson family irish from This Is Us, because Stanley Pearson, the grandfather of Kevin Pearson and the Father of Jack Pearson, was trying to removed the Korean War from his head drinking the beer and thinking to following the steps of his irish ancestor?

The craziest thing is that Peter Onorati isn't Greek. He's so good at this role. I really thought he was Greek.

"Dancing in September" (2000) was a made-for-television drama originally aired on HBO. Reggie Rock Bythewood wrote, directed, and produced the Film, which stars a stellar cast of actors. It is an excellent film with a mindful storyline from multiple characters' perspectives. If you're familiar with Spike Lee's hard-hitting film "Bamboozled," then "Dancing in September" has a similar narrative without the blackface. Bythewood also wrote Lee's film "Get on the Bus," and without coincidence, "Dancing in September" aired the same year "Bamboozled" was released. Fascinating connection.
Director: Reggie Rock Bythewood Writer: Reggie Rock Bythewood
Starring Nicole Ari Parker, Isaiah Washington, Vicellous Shannon, Malinda Williams, Royale Watkins, Jenifer Lewis, James Avery, Jay Underwood, Marcia Cross, Michael Cavanaugh, Kimberly Russell, Peter Onorati, Rashaan Nall, Chi McBride, Juanita Jennings, Brent Jennings, Mel Jackson, Anna Maria Horsford, LeVar Burton, Tichina Arnold
Storyline Struggling African-American television writer Tommy Crawford (Nicole Ari Parker) gets her sitcom picked up by the neophyte WPX network through George Washington (Isaiah Washington), an executive hired to develop shows aimed at the black market. But, as the season wears on, Tommy's original high-minded concept slowly devolves into a dumbed-down vehicle for its breakout star, ex-hustler James (Vicellous Reon Shannon), whose struggles threaten to capsize the entire project.

S.W.A.T., Season 2
Ratings: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
CBS
Action/Drama/Police Procedural
Recommend: sure, why not.
Premise: the team is back and the lines between job and personal lives get blurred.
Review: tbh, they dropped the ball this season. The storytelling was choppy. Has good moments, hits of action, but of humdrum. Too much drama and too little SWAT action. And I don’t mean the knocking down doors, though that is entertaining, just too much drama. Didn’t like Hondo or Deacon this season. Not enough about Street’s growth. Chris’ character was all over the place, not sure what happened there. The fluidity of the first season was gone. Don’t get me wrong there were fabulous moments but just not enough to counter balance everything that just made this show lose the magic of the first season.
Favourite: Episode 11, “School”. Just know that it is a huge trigger. Cried for most of the episode. But it was deep, heartfelt and a tragic reality.
Least Favourite: Honestly… Hondo. Didn’t like his characterization this season.
Final Thoughts: hoping they up their game for next season.

Ice Cream
When I was a kid my Dad used to come home sometimes he’d bring these cartons of ice cream.  The ones with the cardboard sides that would fold down leaving just a brick of ice cream. He’d cut it like it was cake.  I really loved that.

Today LIVE! One of the greatest storytellers I've had the joy of spending time with, Peter Onorati. I adore him. As great an actor as he is, bringing truth, depth, and unique flavor to every character he portrays, he’s brought that plus incredible warmth, humanity, and loads of the funny both times we’ve sat down. And, he's brought funny people, too. I feel like I interviewed his whole family.... and Bobby DeNiro!
I first remember Peter from way ahead of its time, completely unique, fabulous, and fun. Cop Rock. From there, Civil Wars, Murder One, Sex and The City, Leap Years, American Dreams, Boston Legal, Everybody Hates Chris, Murder in The First to his starring role on S.W.A.T., his recurring role on This Is Us, and his character named Snuffy (what?!?) on Station 19. I feel like I’ve grown up with Peter. He's the successful one.
I so look forward to diggin' back in with this handsome hunk who’s also the sweetest most devoted husband, father, family man, and friend. He’s blessed. He’s loved. He loves. It’s a beautiful thing to behold!
