Today we wish a very happy 23rd birthday to our Captain and beater coach, (Beater) Stephen Jaworski! Our fearless captain has been a member of the Honey Badgers for 3 years. Today we give a birthday shout out to Kepper/Chaser Jack Whiteman (retired). On this day, he turns a ripe young age of 35. Jack proudly served 3 years with the Honey Badgers and earned the position of equipment manager. Since retiring, this 6'6" teddy bear now focuses his time on his work and family. Today we celebrate 2 birthdays as (Chaser) Isabella Gong (left) turns 23 and (Beater/Chaser) Molly Markell (right) turns 24. Both are former players and contributors to @pennquidditch during their time as students at UPENN. Molly retired after 1 year with the Honey Badgers, though has practiced with us for 2-3 years. Finally we saved the best for last as we've been catching up on birthday shoutouts this week. We wish Joe Milam a belated Happy Birthday as he recently turned 31! Joe was the co-coach and captain of the now defunct South Jersey Hellhounds. He made our official roster this year but had to put his Honey Badger debut on hold to focus on being an awesome father to his (now) 9 month old son Jonas. Jonas was born with multiple heart defects and just finished his 2nd surgery in December. Attached is a link to the gofundme page for Baby Jonas.
