Begin to realize that the world you live in is determined largely by what goes on in your mind. Marcus Aurelius, the great Roman philosopher and sage, said, "A man's life is what his thoughts make of it." Emerson, America's foremost philosopher, said, "A man is what he thinks all day long." The thoughts you habitually entertain in your mind have the tendency to actualize themselves in physical conditions. Make certain you do not indulge in negative thoughts, defeatist thoughts, or unkind, depressing thoughts. Recall frequently to your mind that you can experience nothing outside your own mentality.

This book changed my life. Juilo Cabrera's Negative Ethics are a way of living that I hope to implement more fully. I am working on it each day. Julio Cabrera's philosophy described how I saw the world for the better part of the last twenty years. Of course, Cabrera, put it all in better words and better terms and better arguments.
This book convinced me that antinatalism really is an ethical position worth having.

Every one of us, unconsciously, works out a personal philosophy of life, by which we are guided, inspired, and corrected, as time goes on. It is this philosophy by which we measure out our days, and by which we advertise to all about us the man, or woman, that we are… It takes but a brief time to scent the life philosophy of anyone. It is defined in the conversation, in the look of the eye, and in the general mien of the person. It has no hiding place. It’s like the perfume of a flower – unseen, but known almost instantly. It is the possession of the successful, and the happy. And it can be greatly embellished by the absorption of ideas and experiences of the useful of this earth.

Why run after them?
Why are we running after people? Why are we running after people who don't accept us the way we are? Why are we running after people who don't pay as much attention to us as we do? Why are we running after people who don't put effort into a relationship?
These are questions I ask myself a lot.
Guys, if there's one advice I can give you:
Don't run after people, who don't put the same effort in a relationship even if it's platonic or romantic. Both can be mentally exhausting and these people, I know, you love them. This might sound bad, but if they don't put the same effort as you do, you are not too important for them. So please, please don't run after them, even if they have a an enormous worth to you! You don't really have the same worth to them...
I hope you guys don't get too fast in this kind of situations and don't let yourself be manipulated!

Embracing Nietzschean Philosophy: Exploring "Thus Spake Zarathustra"
Tumblr media
Friedrich Nietzsche's "Thus Spake Zarathustra: A Book for All and None" is a profound and provocative work that challenges conventional beliefs and invites readers to reexamine their values and assumptions about life, morality, and the human condition. Originally published in 1883, this philosophical masterpiece explores themes such as the death of God, the eternal recurrence, the will to power, and the Ubermensch (or "overman"), presenting Nietzsche's vision of a new way of thinking and living in the modern world.
At the heart of "Thus Spake Zarathustra" is the character of Zarathustra, a fictionalized version of the ancient Persian prophet Zoroaster, who descends from his mountain retreat to share his wisdom with humanity. Through a series of discourses, parables, and aphorisms, Zarathustra challenges his listeners to transcend their limitations, embrace their innermost desires, and strive for self-mastery and self-overcoming. Nietzsche's use of allegory and metaphor imbues the text with richness and depth, inviting readers to engage with its philosophical themes on multiple levels.
One of the most striking features of "Thus Spake Zarathustra" is its lyrical and poetic style, which sets it apart from Nietzsche's more academic works. Translated by Thomas Common, the text retains much of its original beauty and power, capturing Nietzsche's philosophical insights with clarity and elegance. Common's translation allows readers to immerse themselves in Nietzsche's thought-provoking ideas and experience the full force of his rhetorical flourishes and linguistic innovations.
Moreover, "Thus Spake Zarathustra" is notable for its critique of traditional morality and religion, which Nietzsche argues have stifled human potential and constrained individual freedom. Through Zarathustra's teachings, Nietzsche advocates for a radical revaluation of all values, urging readers to embrace a more expansive and life-affirming ethos that celebrates creativity, authenticity, and self-expression. Nietzsche's rejection of conventional norms and his embrace of existential freedom continue to resonate with readers today, inspiring countless individuals to question authority and forge their own path in life.
In addition to its philosophical depth and literary merit, "Thus Spake Zarathustra" has had a profound impact on art, literature, and culture, influencing thinkers such as Sigmund Freud, Carl Jung, and Friedrich Engels, as well as artists, musicians, and writers from around the world. Its themes of self-discovery, self-transcendence, and the pursuit of meaning continue to inspire and challenge readers to this day, making "Thus Spake Zarathustra" a timeless classic that speaks to the eternal quest for wisdom and self-realization.
In conclusion, "Thus Spake Zarathustra: A Book for All and None" by Friedrich Nietzsche, translated by Thomas Common, is a thought-provoking and intellectually stimulating work that continues to captivate readers with its profound insights, poetic language, and revolutionary ideas. Nietzsche's vision of the Ubermensch and his call to embrace the fullness of life remain as relevant today as they were when the book was first published, offering a powerful antidote to the nihilism and despair of the modern age.
Friedrich Nietzsche's "Thus Spake Zarathustra: A Book for All and None" is available in Amazon in paperback 23.99$ and hardcover 29.99$ editions.

Hi there!
Tumblr media
So that's was a long time, really long time, I've been thinking to stop using social media cos I feeld so much ignorance and have allergy for that... I was even thinking to use only YouTube as a platform to check how's world going on... maybe even start to make video about my thoughts of seeking true. So now we r here. I couldn't explain how much I miss that time of Tumblr, even that I never was an active user, or know how to use it at all. Everything changes, world had been changed, my parent aren't together, imma building my own family, politics making me laugh to death or sometimes wishes me death, capitalism, no longer afraid of death, want not to go mad after seeking for meaning of life, learning new language, fighting against religion, had found, I guess, faith... and so on. My tarot deck gives me more answers than those in power human being. I'm in love with my man, my mind, with duality of life, and everything have meaning (even if it's not)
It's my first post and I don't know yet what imma gonna do here, but it's feels like home. Yeah, and my Mars in cancer.
