I'll keep this explanation as simple as possible so this doesn't turn into an essay. So basically, this is a fantasy world, not everyone here is human, like Tsukasa, he isn't even fully human, he has a bit of pixie heritage.

And going through all the posts might be a bit confusing if you don't know what is going on with the timeliness so I'll simplify it; Tsukasa and Rui are roommates, Rui is freeloading while Tsukasa is working his ass off to pay for stuff, currently Tsukasa's not actually interested in Rui and are just friends.

(but since this is a Ruikasa blog this will change soon)

oh silly headcanons!!!! i have a headcanon that amity actually has wild hair like alador but she straightens it and that’s why she. very obviously does not have wild hair like alador in the show lmao. it’s completely unfounded and there is actually more evidence to the contrary in the show, but i know it in my heart to be true <3

OHH I'm obsessed with this actually. @/yardsards once did painstaking analysis of Amity's hair and deduced that she A) has an undercut and has had one for most of her life and B) would probably have much thicker hair without the undercut (which I feel like we see the beginnings of rn in s3. I love her shaggy emo hair sm this season btw you have no idea)

Personally I'm very into the HC that amity's a person who changes her hair frequently once things settle down (and that the reason she let it grow out and fade in the human realm was bc em wasn't there to cut and dye it for her) and that at one point, she will grow her hair out as long and thick as possible, just for kicks bc hair is her self-expression and rn she is expressing the fact that she is Tired of her appearance having been monitored her whole life. At one point Luz asks Amity if she could store things in her hair like Eda does. They try but it does NOT go well, apparently that is a clawthorne exclusive ability. Whatever they tried to put in there gets stuck and they end up sheering it off, leading to amity's brief but fondly remembered pixie cut era <3

sometimes i think being in the riverdale cast is like going to the charter school in my hometown. you have a senior class of twenty two people and by senior year they're all bisexual and openly horny on main and there are only two people in the senior class who haven't kissed every other member of the senior class and it's because they've been in a weird exclusive relationship since they were seven years old and never backed off that shit

Parents, and more specifically shitty parents, is a really easy button to push to get Pixie pissed off or at the very least in an irritable mood. Especially if it’s in regards to someone close to her.

Her relationships with her family, her mother especially, are strained at best. There’s a reason why Pixie rarely calls home, and even then those rare times are to her brother.

The origin of things becoming fractured is simple. Pixies parents didn’t want her going into the active duty when she just lost an arm as a reservist and had a child. And Pixie would have killed herself if she spent another day as a civilian. She knows that for certain, she came close once or twice. Only her younger brother knows that however, and she made him promise never to tell their parents about it.

And besides that, well, Pixie’s family is full of stubborn fuckers who even after ten years want her to leave the service. And make that no secret whatsoever the few conversations they still have every once in a while, regardless of who it is, with Arnold being the only exception.

There’s other factors too that have driven a wedge into her relationships but just aren’t as relevant or didn’t enter the picture right away. Her sister Lisa’s job as a journalist and Pixie’s refusal to even say what she does now beyond ‘intelligence’ being two of them.

In all honesty, if it weren’t for Evie, Pixie wouldn’t bother keeping in contact with anyone besides her brother at all. As far as she’s concerned, they’ve made their views clear and so has she. And nothings seemed to change so she doesn’t see the point in trying.

But, all that to say, her problems with her family all ultimately stem from those involved all caring too much if anything, even if it’s not showed in the healthiest of ways. On her side of things, her distance from Evie is because she cares, because she doesn’t think she’d be a good mother to her and she’d just do her little girl more harm than good by being around in her current mental state.

So to see or hear about those close to her dealing with shitty parents or parents that just don’t give a fuck? It pisses her off to no end because yeah, sure, her relationship with her parents sucks but at least she knows they care. And yeah, she is far from a perfect mother but at least she’s trying and doing what she can given the circumstances without potentially negatively affecting Evie.

It’s a sore spot for her, and even with her usual civility and level-headedness, she won’t hesitate to call that shit out if she sees or hears about it.

writing with blood would be unreasonably difficult. it's very thick, usually thicker than most inks you use for writing , and when you let it dry it just congeals and becomes absolutely impossible to handle

does one of my ocs still do it? yes. but you see, Jane is a very special kind of insane. she's dedicated to her craft. she literally waits for blood to dry to powder it and mixes in a binding agent like you would paint 👍 only a temporary solution and it doesn't last long but she finds it much more convenient. she's incredibly dedicated to her insanity I don't think she's considered how inconvenient this is. anything to torment her victims
