#hello councilnation i'm finally releasing him to the wild #have fun playing toys with him #ultrakill #councilor #councilor ultrakill #3d stuff #obviously with the councilor having just 1 full body image of him means that some stuff i had to improvise on #so you get to enjoy my headcanons on how he looks #(like obviously the wings & halo)#(but also the chestplate design)#but did you know that the councilor's canon design has subtle engravings on his forearm armor pieces?#i only barely noticed them when painting textures and i was floored #i had to add them #to the sfm anon and whoever else wants to use this for sfm stuff-#i did my best with a port for sfm and i'm quite proud of the result #but please be aware i have never used it before so if you find that something doesn't work as it should please please let me know!!#gonna pour my heart out in tags as always so close your eyes if you don't wanna see me being sentimental but #i'm not kidding when i say i learnt 3d modelling from the ground up for this #i have meddled with blender before but never actually came close to finishing a project #and i don't know how i did it and how i kept going #(i do know) (it was my friend encouraging me every time i showed him progress)#this was like 1 entire month in the making #but i'm so fucking proud of this and how it turned out and people's tags in my act 2 render genuinely were such a huge confidence boost #so thank you guys for liking it <3 #i'm still very much thinking of doing a version with just his bloodied head #but it might take a while because i want a break and i want to play warframe

#galarian slowpoke #picture this. this was the first pokémon revealed from the new DLCs for pokémon sword and shield. the pokémon company #up until this point‚ has never done DLC for a pokémon game before. you‚ having been jaded by shitty DLCs for other games in the past #now have a distaste for the phrase‚ and imagine this can't be good. then‚ in their teaser for the new DLC‚ they add a little event #into the game where they reveal one of the new pokémon that is going to be added in the DLC #and it is a galarian form. that is identical to the original pokémon. but with a yellow head #are you imagining it. now how fucking disappointed are you. how little faith do you have in that DLC that it's going to be as good as it wa #for the most part‚ the pokémon company has demonstrated that they do absolutely excellent DLCs. proper expansions #basically an entire other game on top of the game you already have. and they typically take up the release cycle of a full game #scarlet/violet's especially. WONDERFUL dlc. i never really properly finished the crown tundra just because i was so late to the party #because i avoided buying the dlc for so long because of this experience that i've just described to you #that by the time i bought it and played it‚ it was just because SV had been announced and i wanted more pokémon to tide me over #and i never finished it. one of these days‚ i'd like to go back and finish it‚ but i'm playing through pokémon xd gale of darkness right no #and i prefer to play. one game at a time. and i don't know when i'll ever really get back to it #or if i'll ever get back to it! 'cause without resetting my save file all the way i'll just have to Remember what it is that already happen #which i'm. notoriously bad at when it comes to coming back to games that i haven't played in a while #plus i know sv is like shitty performance or whatever but the movement in that game is so much better #it feels so much more freeing than going back to gen 8 where you can still just. run. and that's it #i know nobody likes scarlet/violet but i still. like it. performance aside. like yes the performance is terrible but i still had a great #time with it. i just praised its DLC for fuck's sake! its DLC was fuckin wonderful! it has kieran in it so it like can't be bad

Absolutely the funniest thing about my current corner of tumblr is that pretty much everyone I've recently followed for Apollo-Appreciating Purposes are either genuinely Hellenist or just rather very into Rick Riordan's Trials of Apollo series which is wild because I know a net zero about both of those things.

#I've never been interested in Riordan's work and the Percy Jackson books I did read as a young lad didn't change my mind on that topic #Growing up I preferred a very one or the other method for my greek adaptational content #which essentially means either you're a play or an adaptation of a legit story or myth with recogniseable figures and plotpoints #or you're an original story with mythical elements but the myths and the adaptations and interpretations of those myths is secondary #Percy Jackson did both and it was very disorienting for me because the books were well grounded enough that when I came into contact #with some element I didn't recognise or couldn't remember I myself would get confused and go “Is that true? like really?? :0c”#Then I ran a library book club and Percy Jackson books were p much all the kids wanted to read #but they rejected all of my supplementary greek myth exercises and got a lot of stuff mixed around #because percy jackson does a rather good job of making a convincing argument that it knows its stuff and people will quicker cite that #than do readings of the much more difficult older texts and translations of text #It's not Percy Jackson's fault it's just a bad experience that stuck with me and by extension leaked over into Trials of Apollo when that #was released #Trials of Apollo was crazy because I generally make it my business to consume any and all greek myth interpretational media that bothers #to include Apollo (there is a shockingly low amount of things that do that)#however a LOT of novels especially never let Apollo retain the dignity of a god in their portrayals of him #and have him resemble a teenager more than anything even remotely close to an adult #I had just gotten finished reading a novel adaptation of the story of Coronis and Apollo with this same issue #so when I opened the first volume of ToA and saw that Apollo simply genuinely WAS a teenager #Frankly I just closed the book and put it back on the bookstore shelf and very calmly walked away LMFAO #I have nothing to say about Hellenists and neo hellenists y'all seem like wonderful people and I hope #you have a lovely time with your e-offerings and worship #unless you are my single personal friend with Apollo as your patron #then I wish you 1000 woes and 10000 divine brain blasts #toa #pjo #ginger rambles

#even as I've finally arrived home for the day with EoW in hand. I'm at a loss on what setting to turn my brain on as I play...#on one hand the world map is very alttp and the setup fits the development I have for them when I play dolls in my own brain perfectly #on the other the world is so very different and vibe completely off for what else goes on in my brain doll house #none of this actually matters I'm just excited to play the game but it is fun that despite how long I've had to ponder this I'm still lost #old blorbos or new blorbos we'll see I guess #I was curious about what other people thought but I've been trying to dodge trailers and spoilers so #anyway happy EoW day !!!#I'm sad I missed midnight release but it was probably for the better considering how much my body hates me lately haha #delete later maybe #what is this post format anyway #I used to worry so much about what's ''correct'' in media but something about Zelda rly just pushes to go ham with interpretations #and it's my fav thing ever. it's like stuff never gets old like this there's always more to explore and think about...#my head has been exploding with thoughts I haven't been able to articulate lately so if I wake up one day and go ham #please excuse me

Okay so I may be in the minority here…but I’m not a fan of characters dying and being definitively dead…then being resurrected. Death is a permanent and very final conclusion to a character and their arc, and having them brought back to life takes away from that impact.

ESPECIALLY when other dead characters don’t get resurrected.

#I love Eleanor’s romance in THoBM #but her resurrection was not it and I always choose to let her move on #because THAT is a good conclusion of her arc #and I don’t like criticizing fanworks #like I really really really REALLY do not like criticizing them #and I am so so so sorry if this hurts any feelings #but I did not like the MC/Noah resurrection arc in It Lives Within #as I said death is a very final end to a character and any arcs they have #and to this day the choice in chapter 15 of ILITW to determine who took Jane’s place was the hardest choice I ever had to make #I remember when that chapter first released that it took me probably fifteen minutes to decide #and it remains one of the most agonizing #heartbreaking #and impactful choices in the game #but having MC/Noah resurrected…just kind of undoes all of that #it feels especially wrong if the other members of the crew died #like why does this one person get to come back to life but others who were unfairly killed don’t? also applies to the waverleys btw #ILW and the ILW team did a great job #but the resurrection storyline lost me big time #Eleanor waverley #the haunting of Braidwood manor #choices stories you play #playchoices #choices stories we play #pixelberry #pixelberry studios #playchoices fandom #choices stories you play fandom #choices stories we play fandom

this isnt what i usually post on this blog but I'm already sick of all the memes and 'jokes'. I am almost certainly leaving the fandom for good now because of the book of bills release and NO it is not because billford's community has an influx of supporters.

So the worship and romanticization of asylums and other abusive practices for mental health have been steadily gaining traction in recent years, especially with the rise of tiktok's toxicity.

SO many people, especially younger people, regularly talk about how they want lobotomies or how women they don't like should be lobotomized. They get tattoos of lobotomy like it's some quirky fun thing and not one of the most horrific tortures someone can endure.

These same people, ESPECIALLY leftists, will look at anyone they disagree with or don't like and say "get institutionalized, loser" or "et therapy" and it's always in a mocking way. it's always in a policing way.

because these people know that mental wards strip everyone of their freedom and their bodily autonomy. they know these places arent for healing--theyre for silencing.

So the amount of people i see treating bill being institutionalized like a good thing---even the writers and alex himself?

Yeah. Im out ✌🏼
