You know, I've seen people talk about the problems with miraculous ladybug's time travel system (which is, admittedly, really messed up), but the point I haven't seen anyone elaborate on is the miraculous itself.

Or rather, the period of time from season one 'till time tagger where there were three copies of it. The one in the miracle box, the one with Bunnix in the pillar thing (is it an obelisk? I haven't seen the episode in ages), and the one with Alix.

See, how the show sets it up is that, Alix is given the one in the miracle box. Later in the future, that copy is damaged, and Bunnix winds up back in time. She then passes it down through her family, to recieve later when it's fixed (implied by the message on the watch during time tagger). See the problem?

Bunnix was transformed.

So where did Alix's copy come from?

Even if Bunnix went back to the future, then sent the miraculous back, there's still the question of where the extra miraculous came from. Because, sure, I can accept that there were two existing at the same time for a while. The one in the miracle box, and then one either with Bunnix, or being passed down through Alix's family.

But instead there's a strange duplicate. Was it stolen from the future? Or the past? Where did it come from?

okay i seriously need help. i think i’m aroace? idk. okay here’s some background: 

- i have struggled a lot with my sexuality; i experience sexual attraction, but when i actually think about the act, i feel repulsed. i realistically don’t ever want sex with either sex. 

- i kinda go between lesbian-bisexual-pansexual because i can’t really tell if i experience attraction to anyone, but if i did HAVE to date anyone it would be a girl, but if a guy asked me out i wouldn’t say no, even if i didn’t have a “crush” on him. 

- i could honestly go my whole life without a romantic relationship, i feel indifferent towards it. 

- when thinking about what people describe as “romantic” attraction (wanting to hold hands, kiss, cuddle, spend a lot of time together), i just think that that is what i feel towards all my friends (give or take the “kiss” part)

- i feel platonic love but have never felt anything stronger than that

- if i have a “crush” it’s because i forced myself to have it out of convience (ex. having a “crush” on the only other queer person at work)

I've seen a lot of people writing Danny as a space ancient and Dan and Dani as ghosts with moon and sun cores, being sort of parts, versions of Danny and therefore weaker. Now, consider: Dan and Dani are both powerful ghosts with really cool cores and stuff but Danny is just some guy™

Dan, who came from an alternate timeline and is kind of from the future but also not, is Clockwork's apprentice and will eventually become an ancient of time. He probably only agreed to have some lessons with Clockwork to understand better what happened to him, but he enjoys his apprenticeship now.

Dani, with her love of travelling, loves seeing all the different places the world offers to her, and that includes space and different planets and maybe even parallel universes, and she accidentally ends up being an apprentice of the space ancient. For now she's probably a baby ancient of freedom or something like that, but she might become an ancient of space in the future.

We can also have something like Dan having a core of destruction or Dani being the Speed Force if you want it to be dcxdp, or any headcanon of yours about their cool powers.

And then there's Danny. And yeah, everyone knows that he's super powerful, but also he's just some guy.

It can go different routes. Does everyone know that Danny is just Danny? Or do they think that with siblings (well, technically a clone and an alternate version, but whatever) so powerful, he must be even stronger? Is Danny actually something terrifyingly eldritch and ancient and strong, almost a god, but he just doesn't know himself? Or is he just really some guy?

Now, because it's obvious that I have a dcxdp brainrot, have a regular "JL summons/meets a powerful ghost" but its Dan and Dani, and they keep mentioning their original/brother who won a fight against them at some point. The JL is very concerned about Dan and Dani's godlike powers, and they can't imagine what Danny is like. And then they meet him (in his human form), and it's just a young adult in casual clothes, very friendly and helpful, with no evident powers. Imagine the confusion. Imagine Dan and Dani, radiating power, in their eldritch ghost forms, admitting that fighting Danny for real is the dumbest thing to do and not even they would succeed... And then there's Danny is jeans and silly t-shirt, waving shyly.

One of my all time favourite jokes/memes is one that really only exists between me and my husband, so I'm going to share it with y'all:

We use it whenever we're confused by a thing.

It came from watching my husband play Train Sim World. A game which he is woefully bad at. And he shot right through a station he was supposed to stop at and then had to stop, get out of the drivers cabin, walk to the other end of the train and drive backwards. As he walked, he passed these two old people who we named Harold and Margaret and came out with:

"Wasn't that our stop, Margaret?"

"I don't know, Harold! The train's going too fast!"

Now I have given you context, go forth and tell people that the train is going too fast!

it's sometimes so silly to look in the notes of a polyamory art/post and see people like "is this cheating art....?" when the characters in canon are all extremely close friends. i know it's not malicious because most people think of monogamy as the default and anything outside that Must be cheating, but truly i'm always like. guys. guys Please.

please think about this for like 2 seconds.

under what circumstances do we think this non-canon couple might hold hands directly in front of their canon partners. and under what circumstances do we think the canon partners might be okay with this. do we Truly think this is a secret relationship. do we Truly think these guys would sneak around behind their canon partners' backs when all of them are extremely close friends with a high level of trust and commitment to each other.

would assuming that these extremely close friends have actually communicated with one another Exactly The Same Way They Do In The Canon Source Material perhaps cause less despair.....

Res AU Joronia drawings. Character rambling and bonus doodles under cut.

This AU takes place a good while after the events of Triple Deluxe happened. Since then, Taranza's mostly recovered mentally from everything. He was able to move on from his grief and (somewhat) forgive himself. Now that Joronia's in his life again, seemingly back to her former self, some of those wounds he'd thought were fully healed have started to ache again. He still feels ultimately guilty for what happened to her.

He's thrilled that Joronia's been given a second chance at life, but is somewhat wary deep down. This feels to good to be true, that she's just back with seemingly no strings attached. The other shoe could drop any day now, and he could lose her all over again. Fearing this, he wants to make the most out of what could be a short time to be together again with his friend.

Joronia senses that there's a distance between the two of them now that wasn't there before. It shouldn't be surprising; he's probably still hurt from what she did. Other people definitely are. She's determined, though, to work hard to make it up to everyone she's hurt, and to prove to them (and herself) that she's not really like that, that she's capable of being better.

The Mirror's influence twisted her mind and her perception of reality. It made her feel like she was inadequate, and that everyone else were enemies to be subjugated. Now, she's supposed to be normal and better, but she still feels like there's something wrong with her head. She still doesn't feel good enough, and it still feels like everyone hates her. It's hard to trust herself. She's not sure if it's some lingering effect of the Mirror, or if there's just something inherently wrong with her now. She's scared.

She's afraid that something will happen, that she'll revert to how she was as Queen, and that she'll hurt Taranza again. Someone who'd always helped her, who'd stuck with her even when she was absolutely horrible to him, and who's kindness she's relying on again now, staying at his home as she worked on getting her life back together. She's a burden on him, and she always has been. She hates it.

Still, her deepest, most selfish wish is that they could be real friends again.

These two need to have a long, honest discussion about their feelings toward each other and themselves. Both of them are absolutely terrified about that prospect, though, because they each think that the other secretly resents them to some degree. If they actually talked through it, they'd quickly realize that they both want the same thing.
