I noticed that Simon dies in every universe under the influence of the crown.
He is never just Simon Petrikov when he dies. It always the Simon after he wore the crown that dies.
(It is implied that Vampire King stole the crown from him after he got killed.)
No matter what stage of the Crown’s influence he is in,
as long as he is touched by its magic,
he will die.
Just like how Finn is destined to lose his arm in every timeline.
BUT.
Betty’s wish in our Simon’s universe stopped that from happening. Not only is she protecting him from the influence of the Crown but she’s protecting him from Fate itself.
I think that’s one of the reasons why the her wish started with her fusing with Golb because it also gave her the power to overturn Simon’s fate.
The wish made sure he was the only one who lived long enough even under the Crown’s influence to talk to Betty in the past which led her to come to him 1,000 years into the future,
and led the events of the canon to happen,
therefore saving him from his fate.

Watched the MLB movie and I just. I WANT to gush about it but the fact that Marinette’s regular voice actor and her singing voice actor sound SO different just took me out of it every time and left me feeling very disengaged;; At least Adrien’s singing voice kind of sounds like his speaking voice (and Gabriel’s is 👌 bc my king Keith Silverstein can actually sing and he can sing REALLY fucking well) but Marinette’s. The voices are COMPLETELY different and it threw me off every single time. Like obviously her singing voice is really good and I understand why they picked that person to do her songs but bro you could have at least TRIED to get someone that sounds similar to Cristina Vee. It drove me nuts every time she sang bc I was like “That is CLEARLY a different person entirely!!”
I’m realizing this might have been a dubbing issue but still 😭 I feel like I would have enjoyed the movie way more if it didn’t look like Marinette was lip syncing the entire time bc there was such a huge disconnect between her speaking and singing voice

I wanted to share something I noticed during a rewatch of Andor with my friends. The shot where Cassian tells Kino, "I'd rather die trying to take them down," is different in the recap at the beginning of Episode 11 than the actual scene in Episode 10.
First GIF is the actual shot in Episode 10, second GIF is the alternative shot during the recap at the beginning of Episode 11.
But wait, there's another one I noticed. This is when Cassian tells the Aldhani group, "Let's get to it," when Vel asks him if he's in on the heist.
First GIF is the actual shot in Episode 4, second GIF is the alternative shot during the recap at the beginning of Episode 5.
Oh my gosh, another one you say? Cassian telling Maarva, "What's left to keep you here?"
First = actual from Episode 7.
Second = alternative during recap in Episode 12 (he looks into the camera lol).
Something is wrong with you, you noticed another one? Yep!
First = actual from Episode 11.
Second = alternative during recap in Episode 12. Although this is more so an extended shot of the actual one - it captures more of him to the side before he turns to the sunset (this scene makes me cry).
What is the point of this post? Absolutely nothing. I'm obsessed with this show and I'm going crazy in the season 2 waiting room. Or perhaps this is evidence that there is extra footage that could be shared (please). There's probably some more that I missed, but this post is getting long.
(Is it a coincidence that they all include Cassian? Absolutely not. He is my favourite character at the moment and consumes my thoughts.)

okay, but where's my steddie AU where steve wants to learn to play guitar to impress a girl he's infatuated with and he remembers that munson kid was always hanging up posters for his weird band at school, so he hikes out to eddie's usual dealing spot behind the track and asks (with far less groveling than he really should have) if eddie will teach him how to play, and obviously eddie says no because why would he want to help king steve, but of course, steve offers to pay him, $20 a week, and well, that's the kind of get-the-hell-out-of-this-shithole-town cash eddie really can't afford to refuse, so fine, he'll teach steve to play and they'll spend inordinate amounts of time together tucked away in eddie's room and they'll start to see that they have more in common than they thought and that they kind of had each other all wrong, and eddie will put his hand over steve's to help him get the placement for a tricky chord and it totally won't awaken anything in either of them?? where is it??
edit: i started writing it

I think I've already said this once before but I really wish there was a feature in Wizard101 where important events, lore, and dialogue in the game were documented somewhere so we can view them whenever we want. like unless we video record the events while it happens, take pictures, or just go through the whole entire fucking plot with another wizard character there's no way to ever revisit those moments and that SUCKS??????? like wizard101 has some of the best lore ive ever seen and I don't wanna have to level up my wizard all the way to level 100 just to see that iconic grandfather spider scene or grind through azteca just to find that one epic fourth wall breaking moment 💀 i want to revisit all the incredible and funny and weird shit we've all gone through Immediately. Like damn remodel the library so that it actually keeps records and dated films of the things we've gone through so it can actually be useful instead of it being Just A Building (rants about this for so long that even Jesus smacks His lips)

I have been feeling sick for the past couple of days. So, while fevered and with cold medicine in my system, I rewatched the Cap trilogy one night and then the Avengers movies as if they were a trilogy on the next. (There are three of them if you don't watch Endgame!) I also wrote down nearly 5,000 words of, honestly, unhinged thoughts about the Cap trilogy and another just over 3,000 about the Avengers movies while I watched.
And many of these words are me repeatedly, often in capslock, saying, at relevant points, that either a) Steve is the actual cutest, b) Steve is correct about everything at all times, c) Bucky did nothing wrong and deserves none of this, or d)it is still astounding to me that lines like, "Even when I had nothing, I had Bucky,'" are actually canon. Which, you know, was incredibly valid of my fevered self.
But, rereading all of those words now that I'm a bit more coherent, I thought this note I made during CA:TFA was especially correct and valid:
No one in the HISTORY OF FILM has ever refused to Not Die unless the Other Person with them Also Did Not Die, with the sheer force and will and determination of Bucky Barnes. "No, I will NOT survive this without you!" Bucky yelled, and it was the very most ardently that type of line had ever been delivered in all of cinema.
And I know we talk about that a lot, but I feel like we could always stand to talk about it more, honestly. I feel like we should maybe never stop talking about it.
I also made this note during CA:CW, and I think my fevered, tired, multiple hours-into movie-watching, self had a point here that we could also talk about more often:
Okay BUT: Vision becoming so distracted by Wanda he makes a mistake in targeting is meant to be read as romantic re: Vision and Wanda. This is clearly intended canon. So, okay. Sure. Steve (in this same movie!) becoming distracted by Bucky's mere mention and missing clocking that bomb in Lagos, is, then, by that same logic ___?
