I need to do a plot with tattoo artist h and shop receptionist y/n… can yall see it like a bit of asshole h talking shit about how ‘she doesn’t have any fuckin’ ink, what does she know about tattoos?’ And y/n overhearing and simply correcting him with ‘I’ve got plenty of ink, it’s just not for your eyes’ and walking away which of course has him intrigued… so he scopes her out a bit and is still wary of her because she’s pretty sweet but she takes none of his grumpy shit and puts him in his place which he’s supposed to hate but god, his pants are getting tight when she has that tone and her eyes narrow at him… and it boils over after hours when they’re alone in the shop and he teases her about going on a date with the guy who came by to see her w few days ago and how he can’t possibly be good in bed etc and she hits him with the ‘like you’re any better’ and suddenly she’s laid out on his tattoo bench with his head hidden under the skirt of her dress with his tongue buried beneath her thighs and he’s grumbling about how he’s the one who could give her what she needs….. what do yall think

I have an internal conflict because… I understand Regina changing, asking for forgiveness and improving as a person etc and all the fics show a nice and sentimental reconciliation between her and Janis but… just listen to me… the tension-hate-kiss?? that moment of thread of insults and fulminating glances that end in a passionate kiss? with hand pulling lightly on hair, whisper between kisses of "I still hate you" while the other says "shut up"???? *lesbian sighs*

Hm…well I’ve had this idea floating around in my head for a little while now, though I’m not totally 100% on it.

Idk yet how I want it to happen, the sketch on here has a situation like how Jennika was mutated, though I’ve thought maybe a 2012 Karai situation could be interesting too (like Leo brushes her fingertips but doesn’t quite grab her hand and she falls into a vat of mutagen anyway).

If I did do something like this though, it would definitely be temporary! As much as I love the idea of them both being turtles, the DNA situation is so…complicated and weird and I just really don’t wanna have to deal with it, plus it gives me an excuse for a plot where Donnie’s gotta figure out how to make retro-mutagen, which I could then use later, but who knows, I haven’t really thought about it too much.

I really want to write about Itachi finding happiness as a stay-at-home parent, but told through the perspective of everyone around him.

Mikoto torn between her elation that her eldest son has finally done something he wanted, and the existential horror of being a grandmother at 40. She watches him take everything about child rearing in stride, not with the stoicism that she's so used to seeing on him, but with a little gentle smile. It's almost ironic that now, as an adult with their own child, Itachi feels younger than ever.

Shisui surprises himself with his bittersweet feelings. He's elated that Itachi has carved a life for himself that actually makes him happy, because there's no one more than him who understands how much the shinobi lifestyle was killing the natural born pacifist. But he doesn't feel that he can ever escape in the same way, and losing the person who was taking that journey beside him has made him feel surprisingly lonely. He will be the first to admit though that he'd rather face 200 furious Iwa shinobi than deal with the horrific nappy blowouts he's seen Itachi have to face.

Kakashi catching sight of Itachi at the market, almost a year after he resigned from the shinobi, with a tiny baby strapped to his chest. It feels very strange at first, watching someone who was almost as entrenched in that life as he has always been, escaping to raise children. But Kakashi can't deny that Itachi looks brighter and lighter than he's ever seen him. He still navigates the crowd with the grace of a shinobi, but there's a spark in his eyes that Kakashi is surprised didn't die many years ago.

Sasuke, despite having been wholly and vocally against Itachi's retirement and 'having a baby' fiasco, having to begrudgingly admit that Itachi did seem different, and not in a bad way. He's smiling more, something that Sasuke didn't notice he did so infrequently before until confronted with him as he is now. He's offering to train Sasuke more, cooking him dinner, inviting him over. In many ways, they are closer than ever before. It's still weird that Itachi gave up the career that sasuke wants more than anything, it's still weird that he has an actual baby human person now, but... maybe it's nice too, not that he'll ever admit it out loud.

Below you’ll find five plots created inspired by the songs of the swedish group ABBA. These can be used in romantic plots, but also adapted for other types of narrative.

ONE OF US. ( 1981, The Visitors )

Muse a and muse b had a relationship for a few years, but broke up for having very opposite visions of life. Muse a is an artist, sees the world in color and dreams of knowing more about everything, being an enthusiast of all things creative and artistic. Meanwhile, muse b is a businessperson who comes from a traditional family and has always dreamed of becoming the best in their field and living a peaceful life. A few years after breaking up, they meet again, having achieved some of their dreams. Muse a is a recognized artist, travels the world and can live life according to their own wishes, while muse b has achieved a high position in a global company, is recognized and lectures on business and how to achieve objectives. However, they both feel there is something missing in their lives and cannot feel truly fulfilled. The reunion therefore causes mixed feelings, mainly fights about the past, about how muse a cried for months or how muse b felt too small and useless. But something inside them still shines through and maybe there's still a chance. Or will someone get hurt in this story once again?

WHY DID IT HAVE TO BE ME? ( 1976, Arrival )

In a charming seaside village lives muse a, a talented young violinist whose passion for music sets them apart from the rest. Cheerful as ever, their contagious joy and love of life has always attracted curious eyes, especially those of muse b, an introspective painter who finds beauty in the little things. Their lives take an unexpected turn when a summer festival is announced in the town, promising a talent contest. Muse a and muse b end up getting involved in the planning of the contest, causing them to suddenly grow closer and start spending a lot of time together, whether naturally or not. Because muse a is very authentic and distracted, they get into a lot of trouble to make the contest happen, which forces muse b out of their comfort zone. Feelings begin to emerge naturally, making them think "Why did it have to be me?" and deciding, unaware of the other's decision, to perform in the show as a way of expressing their feelings.

MONEY, MONEY, MONEY. ( 1976, Arrival )

In the busy alleys of a bustling city, muse a is trapped in a routine of debt and financial difficulties. Working tirelessly at a job that barely pays the bills, they dream of a life of luxury and comfort. In a twist of fate, muse a meets muse b, a charismatic businessperson who has always lived in a world where money has never been a problem. When they notice muse a's situation, muse b decides to hide their lifestyle for fear of being attracted to them for that reason alone. Muse a begins to get closer to muse b, having someone to talk to who seems to understand everything. However, muse b's lies start to cause a lot of confusion for both of them and they have to choose whether they really want muse a to live in a lie forever or to tell the truth.

LAY ALL YOUR LOVE ON ME. ( 1980, Supertrouper )

In the picturesque setting of a coastal island lives muse a, a lonely sculptor whose heart was closed after a traumatic relationship. Everything changes when they meet muse b, a mysterious person who arrives on the island in search of a fresh start. As they grow closer, muse a discovers the painful secrets that muse b hides, making their time together a way to begin to heal past wounds. Discovering they've both been through toxic relationships and a series of betrayals, muse a and muse b contemplate the possibility of love no longer existing and have to deal with this situation. But when muse b's former partner turns up on the island looking for reconciliation, muse a realizes that their hearts are no longer closed to love. They're completely won over by muse b and will do whatever to have them.

WATERLOO. ( 1974, Waterloo )

Muse a is a determined and charismatic person who works as a tour guide in a historic town. Their lives change when they meet muse b, a charming and enigmatic historian. Their attraction is immediate, but they soon discover sharing a rivalry in the search for information about an ancient secret of the city. As muse a and muse b compete to unravel the centuries-old mystery in an almost real war of espionage and tactics, they discover how they'll need to combine the information they've collected individually if they really want to uncover the secret. As time goes by, they discover more in common than previously thought, find it much easier to work together and start to having a lot of fun with everything discovering more of the town and themselfs.

thinking about academic rivals to lovers boat boys but its just. you know. etho being really smart and joel being all like "get a loadda this guy."

to the point where they're genuinely obsessed with eachother (under the guise of rivalry) to the point that their mutual friends are like "guh we should get them together or smth... or. mess with them >:3"

so their mutual friends (namely bdubs, impulse, pearl, grian, etc.) begin to do dumb things like leaving faux mocking love letters in Joel and Ethos's lockers' under the other's name, writing their names in eachother's notebooks surrounded by hearts, teasingly mentioning "oh, Etho/Joel has been talking about you" and things of the like

genuinely drives Etho and Joel crazy but they're also like "ohmygod hes been. talking about me—"

My main issue with Angelus as the Big Bad is that he was built up as one of the worst, scariest, most sadistic vampires in history and this whole Buffy and Drusilla parallel was set up with the way he stalked Drusilla and killed everyone she loved only for him to do stuff like... use his invite to Willow’s house to kill Willow’s fish, and use his access to Buffy’s house to leave her handdrawn portraits instead of trying to kill Joyce or attack Buffy in her sleep, and only go after Jenny Calendar when she found a way to re-ensoul him.

So: imagine if Angelus did start to go after Buffy’s loved ones and managed to kill at least one person, Imagine if Buffy and Joyce and the Scoobies had that to deal with when a re-ensouled Angel came back in season 3 (Giles was already dealing with that in canon because Angelus killed Jenny, but i wonder if Buffy.would have reacted differently to him in season 3 if it had been someone she was closer to and didn’t have mixed feelings about, considering she partially blamed Jenny for Angel losing his soul in the first place). 

Basically what i’m thinking is: AU where Angelus kills Hank Summers

Sometimes I feel an overwhelming urge to write an intentionally bad fic as if one of the Lords in Black has tasked one of their Sniggles to write a fic shipping them with their favourite human but the Sniggles barely understand human languages and culture so it’s a mess and the Lord instructs the Sniggle to get rid of it but somehow it ends up published and the author’s note at the end is in character as the Lord going absolutely MENTAL because they also can’t figure out AO3’s system and now the fic is out there forever, tarnishing their name.

One idea in particular I had was what to do with UIFY Leo's ninpo, since he doesn't really keep the odachi in my AU

one about a rich girl who meets him with his long hair, tattoos, motorcycle and perhaps an affinity for illegal activity and wants to get back at her parents to piss them off so she proposes a fake dating/friends with benefits type of things only… he’s really good in bed and she kinda likes the bad boy type of thing because he’s so gentle underneath all the leather jackets and bruised knuckles and he made her a playlist to listen to when they fuck and insists on driving her home after they fuck but eventually just makes her sleep at his, buys her a toothbrush and sticks her favorite flavor ice cream in his freezer and no one else has ever taken care of her the way he has- makes her food, cleans her up, picks her up from art classes and makes sure she’s inside before he drives off…. And she’s kind of panicking because this was meant to be just a short term thing but the bad idea was slowly turning into the best thing that happened to her

So… imagine, a little time has passed since spring fling, Regina is trying to change with the help of therapy and lacrosse and Janis wants to learn to forgive her. While it's all happening they are still defensive towards each other, fighting and getting annoyed. Like:

-Just because you're hot doesn't mean you can wear that hideous, homeless looking jacket, Janis -Ohhh so you think I'm hot???? *eyebrow raised while smirking* -*Freaking and blushing*: yeah… A HOT MESS!!

mother’s daughter: muse a has had a pretty rough childhood. when her mother was a teen, she got pregnant early with muse a and was tormented relentlessly. it made her snap and attempt to kill the girls who were making fun of her. in the end, she was apprehended and put in a mental health facility to live out the rest of her days. fast forward 20+ years and muse b is the child of the ‘final girl’. everyone thought that the baby had not been born, but muse a is out there, terrorizing muse b and their friends because of what happened to her mother. she could be hiding in plain sight, being friends with the group (and has been for years) or is a stranger.

bury a friend: after a freak accident, muse a and muse b accidentally kill their mutual friend. whether or not it’s an actual accident is up to you. muse a goes completely numb, and muse b is picking up the pieces, trying to figure out how to get away from the guilt. muse a ends up having a taste for killing, and muse b is left trying to clean up their messes so they don’t get caught. 

twisted teeth: muse a is part of a coven of prominent vampires, who don’t often associate with other beings… especially humans. however, muse a is a bit of a rebel and likes to blend in with humans as a bit of a game. but when they meet muse b, everything changes. there is a primal desire to bond in a way that muse a has never felt before. now muse a is trying to figure out how to come clean to muse b, all the while trying not to feed from them. 

maneater: two cannibals who fall in love, but neither of them know that they eat people and their taste seems to be for each other. think of mr. and mrs. smith, but instead of having a hit on each other… they’re just cannibals. 

writer in the dark: muse a is a wanderer, going from place to place and just living life with nothing holding them back. muse b is a beautiful recluse, potentially some sort of demon/witch, who lives in a cabin in the middle of the woods. muse a ends up stumbling upon this cabin, and ends up getting locked in there with muse b. there is no way out, so muse a begins to learn how to live with muse b and being their muse.

rhiannon: muse a is a historian studying the hauntings of an old ghost in a small town, and has moved into a cheap mansion on the hill. newcomers will be bewitched by the ghost’s song. muse b is the ghost in question, burned by a scorned lover so she wouldn’t say his secrets. the ghost was murdered in the mansion that muse a is living in, and only comes to life when a resident is there. muse a finds themselves bewitched by the song and voice of muse b, who has been materializing in front of them. except it seems that the two are falling in love in an unconventional way. 

bring me to life: muse a and muse b were newly weds when muse a died suddenly. muse b did everything they could to save them, and was greeted by a demon after a last ditch effort to bring their love back to life. they do a ritual, and end up beginning muse a back to life… except something is wrong. muse a has some sort of bloodlust, and muse b has to figure out how to satiate it as they navigate living new life.

ok but who is going to give me f/f pop star x famous actress where they're both each other's biggest supporters and the actress goes to see her at her world tour in the vip tent and is singing along to every song and is so heart eyes at her superstar girlfriend ?? and in turn the pop star is always arm candy at award shows and writing songs about how much she loves her girlfriend and it's just tooth rotting fluff ?? and there could be angst with time apart and conflicting schedules but they're truly just so down bad for each other ?? hello ??

It's a shame the rom-com industry hasn't made more/any plots centering on polycules because like... those would be some fuckin plots. Do you understand the sheer amount of shenanigans, coincidences, funny circumstances, misunderstandings, and heartbreakingly beautiful moments that could come from three or more romantic protagonists? The possibilities are staggering.
