Lian Harper has an imaginary friend. Roy thinks her new friend is imaginary at least. Dani is very much not imaginary as he soon finds out.

Okay, so I don't know much at all about Roy & Lian, so I did some very fast searching to try and get an idea about them for this. Sorry if Roy is out of character!

Have some spooky very slightly eldritch Dani/Elle being a very polite unwanted house guest/imaginary friend:

When Roy had first noticed Lian idly chatting with thin air beside her, he hadn’t thought much of it.

She’d been playing with the latest batch of stuff animals Jason had brought with him last he’d visited, joyfully arranging her plushy hoard just how she wanted them in her overly full room - they were going to have to do another toy purge soon, it was starting to get hard picking a path through to the bed again - and happily talking as she did. It wasn’t anything exactly uncommon. She liked to introduce new plushies to the older ones, make sure everyone knew each other’s names and got along, the way that little kids did. He noticed she seemed to be holding each plush out as if showing it to someone beside her, which was a little odd, but still nothing of concern.

It wasn’t until the tea party - knees bent up to his ears as he curled over the tiny, brightly colored table Kori had gotten her a couple months back - that he was formally introduced to her imaginary friend and put some pieces together.

“Do you want some tea, Dani?” Lian asked, holding out the bright red child-sized tea pot to the one seat at the table that was not occupied by one of his daughter’s favorite plushies or Roy. He watched as she paused, head tilted to listen carefully, before giving a bright smile and pouring a healthy amount of imaginary tea into the cup in front of the seat.

“Well, I don’t think I’ve met Dani yet.” He said, offering out the tiny cup she’d put down in front of him for his own healthy pour of non-existent tea. “Is she a new friend?”

Lian smiled brightly, gap tooth smile bright as she launched into telling him all about her new friend Dani - with an I, Danny with a Y is her big brother! - who fell out of a hole in space right into Lian’s room and who was a ghost princess with superpowers who beat up evil ghosts with her big brother. There are surprisingly few elements from any of the shows she watches or books he’s read to her, and he’s delighted by how vivid an imagination she has in her creation.

It’s easy to roll with imaginary friend Dani. Lian’s friend Marcus had an imaginary friend last year and Roy had learned enough from Marcus’ mother’s exhausted research dive into the topic over play dates to know that Lian making a friend of her own was perfectly healthy. She had plenty of friends, was doing well in school, no bullies or isolation, just a bright creative streak and a boundless enthusiasm for make believe. In a few months to a year Dani the ghost warrior princess from space - green space! There aren’t any floors and everyone flies and there are floating islands and - would be set aside in favor of other forms of entertainment. Just a fond memory for him to recount when she was a little older.

But then things got…strange.

Things in Lian’s room shifted just out of place where they usually were. Then around the house - common areas only though, never his room. Small lost objects appearing on the kitchen counter where they hadn’t been before. A blanket that had been folded on the back of the armchair draped over him when he woke up after falling asleep on the couch. Lian munching on little healthy snacks - a peeled orange, her favorite rice crackers, carrot slices - that no one had made her and that she couldn’t have possible gotten herself. Glow in the dark stars that he had not bought pressed onto her ceiling in the shape of accurate constellations.

That last one had not been the last straw, exactly, but it had been noticed about the same time all the rest of the very concerning little things had been. Talking with Lian about them all only had her explaining that Dani was doing it.

“She said wants to help.” Lian explained, little legs kicking as she focused on her drawing. “She’s stuck here til her brother comes and gets her. She said she wanted to be a good guest while she crashes with us.”

There’s something about that specific phrasing coming from his five year old daughter - crashes with us, not a term Lian’s used before and that he’s pretty sure no one else has ever had reason to use in front of her - that makes the hair on the back of his neck prickle. Lian doesn’t notice his apprehension, little tongue poking out in concentration as she adds more green to the paper. He doesn’t much care for the strange shape of the spectral figure his daughter depicts, hovering over her squiggly rendition of herself in her bed, the ghost creature being shown holding a green star up to a field of others in what Roy realizes is meant to show Lian’s bedroom ceiling.

Lian pauses suddenly in her drawing, head coming up and tilting as if listening, eyes drifting to look at a point close to the ceiling. “Oh.” Lian says, turning to look back at him with a frown. “Dani says there are bad people coming.” Another glance towards the spot near the ceiling. “She says she’s gonna make em go away if that’s okay with you.”

His stomach cramps with anxiety at the declaration just as he catches a dark figure shifting on the roof of the neighbor’s house, a flash of metal in the yellow glow of the street lights. There’s something cold on his shoulder suddenly, almost feeling like a small hand, the vague impression of something not altogether human at the corner of his vision.

Fuck it. He decides. If Lian’s maybe-not-so-imaginary friend wanted to deal with the people that he was just now aware of surrounding his home and putting his daughter in danger, then he wasn’t going to stop her.

Roy barely has the word yes out of his mouth as he darts up to grab Lian and run her to safety before all the lights in the house - hell, the neighborhood - begin to flicker and he catches a flash of bright, glowing green eyes turning towards the people outside. Distantly he heard a cut off scream and wet crunch and pressed Lian’s face to his chest as he ran for the safe room.

He was going to have to call the League about this one.

ꕥ Thinking about Kyle "Gaz" Garrick who holds you during movie nights when you fall asleep, he doesn't care about the movie playing, he's just admiring you sleeping on his chest and tucks a strand of your wild hair back so he could see more of your lashes that fall so perfectly on the skin of your face.

ꕥ Kyle who loves waking up next to you in the morning, his morning voice a bit deeper and his lips finding the top of your head, greeting you good morning while his eyes are closed and mind still half asleep. In his mind, he'd be begging for you to just look up at him with your sleepy state just so he could see how cute you are.

ꕥ Kyle who doesn't give a fuck what others think of the both of you, doesn't matter whether you're together as a couple or not, he'll do anything in his power to protect you from anything and everything. Might not seem like it but Gaz is a total badass. (The man fell out if a helicopter, cut him some slack)

ꕥ Kyle who loves burying his head on your neck and peppering it with soft chaste kisses making you giggle his name while you try to push him off playfully, but it only results in him hugging his arms around your waist tighter.

ꕥ There's nothing Kyle loves more than hearing his name slip out of your lips, especially in between kisses. He swears the sweet sound would bring him straight to heaven.

ꕥ He's desperately asked Price how to actually take you out on a date and advice on how to treat you because he was so fucking nervous that he couldn't think. Price gave him a firm hand on the shoulder and reassured him that he's got this.

ꕥ He had a habit of hiding his smile even though he smiles too often around you, people have called him out on it. Especially Price, after all he was the first one to know about you two and his son's little crush.

ꕥ Gaz got rid of the habit subconsciously thanks to you when you so adorably begged him to show you his smile while you held his wrists and gently tried to pry his hands off. After all, how could he resist you?

Oliver Aiku didn’t have to ask you how your day went. All he had to do was hear you come into your shared space, ignore his hello, and flop onto your shared bed with a grunt. He pauses his video of the previous match and pushes himself up off the couch.

He walks into your bedroom and sits next to you, placing his hand on your back. “Did you have another rough day?” You nod into the pillow and dig your fingers into the plushiness. Oliver sighs, and starts to rub at your back some more as he leans closer to the back of your head. “Do you need food?” You shake your head against the pillow and speak into it; your muffled words barely reach your partner. He chuckles and tucks your hair behind your ear. “I know you always need food, but fine fine…”.

You finally turn your head to get a good look at his heterochromatic eyes that always make you blush. Your pout loosens as you adjust more on your side. He flashes you an adorable smirk and kisses your cheek. “Aww, does my baby wanna cuddle? Why don’t you be direct with what you want?” A small grunt escapes your lips as you gently smack his hand away. He laughs softly before getting off the bed. His hands carefully maneuver under your back and legs as he brings you to the couch. Your arms naturally circle around his neck as you burrow yourself into him.

Oliver drops you into the couch, grabbing a blanket to cover the both of you. His arm wraps around your hip as he spoons you, holding you close. His warm breath fans your ear and neck as he leaves kisses on the back of your neck. “Do you mind if we watch my last match? I gotta prepare for our upcoming game.” You softly nod and place a hand over his, making yourself more comfortable.

The two of you continue to watch his game and before long his breathing and smooth talking puts you to sleep. He doesn’t stop cuddling and leaving soft kisses on any open skin he can find, hoping to soothe away any stressors that have been in your life lately.

California slowly blinked his eyes open, squinting a little as he reached for his glasses. As he put on his glasses, he could see New Jersey on the other side of the bed, scrolling through his phone and gently scratching a still sleeping New York’s scalp. Cali leaned over and gently kissed NJ on the lips, getting a slightly surprised sound from the shorter northeasterner.

"Hey poppy." NJ said, gently pulling away from the kiss and brushing Cali’s hair from his eyes.

"Heyyy…." Cali said, his raspy morning voice causing NJ’s face to heat up a bit.

The twos’ attention turned to NY when they felt him shift in his sleep. They both looked down and their faces softened a bit. New York’s expression was rather peaceful, rather than serious. His long messy brown hair that had been tied into a braid the night before was a bit of a mess, his partially near-white bangs (I gave him poliosis btw <3) covering his face. His breathing was steady and quiet, rather than rapid and panicked. His arms were gently wrapped around a rat plushie that the other two had stolen for him (they both got scolded, but NY still loves the plushie and cherishes it). The Empire State quietly snored a bit, but it sounded more like gentle purring.

"Oh god he’s adorable….." Cali muttered.

"I hate that I agree wit’ ya…..I guess it’s nice when he’s not all tense and high strung though…." New Jersey said, though he muttered the last part as a blush spread across his face.

"I don’t wanna wake him up," Cali said, "…But we have a meeting at 10." He gently rubbed his thumb along NY’s arm, feeling all the scars that plagued it.

"Who the ell’ schedules a meetin’ that early?"

"Gov, clearly." California responded with a sigh.

"Guess we should wake up sleeping beauty then…" NJ said quietly, sitting up more.

"Beauty sure is right…." muttered the Golden State.

"What was that?"

"Nothing—" Cali said quickly, turning away so that his blush couldn’t be seen.

"Sureeeeee~" NJ said with a smirk before leaning down towards New York. He leaned down towards NY’s face and gently placed a few kisses on his cheek and jawline, causing NY to squirm a little in his sleep and let out a tired groan. "C’mon sleepin’ beauty. Get up."

"…don’t wanna….." mumbled a half-asleep New York, giggling a tiny bit as NJ placed a few more gentle kisses on his cheek, jawline and ear."

"Well you have to babes, we have a meeting in a couple hours." Cali said, chuckling when NY sleepily groaned and tried to hide in the mess of blankets.

"C’mon doofus. Don’t make me get the spray bottle." New Jersey said, smirking.

"noooooo….." mumbled New York, staring up at them both with puppy eyes.

"Ughhh…..I guess we can cuddle mo-" New Jersey started to say, only to be cut off by California.

"No we won’t be. We have to get ready for the meeting. And Jersey, stop being so susceptible to the puppy eyes, they aren’t THAT cute."

"I don’t fall for the pu- *sigh* okay, maybe I do, but it’s not my fault that he’s f(speaks Jersey)kin’ adorable and knows it!"

"Yeah yeah…."

Just as New York was about to fall back asleep, his face suddenly lit up as he felt two kisses on both his cheeks, one on each side. He covered his blushing face with a groan as the other two laughed a bit.

Eventually though, he managed to con Cali into letting them cuddle more, and how he did that will never be known…..

for example, I like pink / grey / brown colors so I’m going to buy pens , notebooks, bag etc with these colors :D also I’m a big fan of sanrio, snoopy, miffy and cute things so I’ll try to buy things which motivate me to use them like yk you just look at it and it’s aesthetically pleasing and you just want to use it.

study like who ? ♡

pick a character who are you going to use as an example ,act like them, feel like the the main character! By acting I mean, use their motto and just be delusional I’m not trying to say that u have to copy them just have fun. For me it’s Elle Woods and I can sit and doing work with "What, Like it’s hard?" , buy cute pink stuff and feel like her yk. As I love to say delulu is the solulu!
