As I have written in her profile, Lumina's voice claim is Nanami Karin! Specifically when Karin played Nishinotoin Yuriko from Kakegurui.

Yuriko's character partially inspired Lumina's personality. By hiding her anger with a calm facade, Yuriko's also able to hide her gambling strategy from her opponents. Up until her porcelain eventually cracks, of course.

Lumina is similar in that sense. She hides behind a caring, motherly persona in order to hide her disdain towards Kalim. Why she dislikes Kalim so much, is because he had the childhood she lacked.

Both women are able to hide their true emotions in order to fool others. Yuriko with her gambling opponents, Lumina with the students of NRC.

And personally, I believe Karin is the perfect candidate to be Lumina's voice claim!

What To Read When You Like Isekai and Reincarnation Manhwas Part 1

Hello fellow readers, I am back for another post and this time, I am giving recommendations! For the past few months, I grew an interest in reading South Korean webcomics or formally known as ‘manhwa’. The main reason for this is due to how many of these manhwas are beautifully drawn to amplify the story told. The amount of practice and dedication that must have gone in order for these creators to create such amazing work. I seriously admire them. 

When it comes to manhwas, my go-to types of stories beside action would be reincarnation stories where wronged protagonists get another chance to live out their lives all over again to change the original endings to their lives. It is personally satisfying to see the protagonists successfully manage to change their paths; because tell me if no one has ever wanted to at least reverse time or maybe get another chance to redo all their past mistakes just to make it right again if one were given the chance to? Another genre that I could not help but love is ‘isekai’, a term generally used in Japanese media where the protagonists would accidentally and rarely, purposely travel to another world or dimension. It is a really interesting scenario to imagine: If you somehow manage to transport yourself into your favorite novel and maybe even meeting your favorite characters. Anyways, I will be dividing this into two parts as without a doubt, it will be very very long. Now then, let us begin!

Who Made Me Princess

First up, one that started it all - ‘Who Made Me Princess’ (Korean: 어느날 공주가 되어버렸다). This amazing work is authored by Plutus and illustrated by Spoon. The story tells of a princess with jeweled eyes that has been neglected by her sole family, her father and was basically raised by her personal maid since birth in a palace hidden from view of the main palace. When she grew up, the princess tried all she could to gain her father’s love and attention. But her efforts were all for naught as there came a girl with the same jeweled eyes as the princess and her father claiming she was a missing daughter. Just as easily as that, the girl curried to her father’s favor and gained all of his love and attention. This ultimately led to the neglected princess’ death. Well, that was what originally happened in the novel before the protagonist was transported into the world of the neglected princess. 👀

‘Who Made Me Princess’ is what curved me into the world of reincarnation and ‘isekai’ manhwas. The manhwa is a really good read and pairing that with good illustrations, you would have the urge to finish the entire available chapters. The manhwa’s protagonist tries her best to avoid the original ending of the story ever since she was a toddler; trying her best to gain her father’s love in order to avoid death. However, I can tell you that this manhwa can be upsetting and even frustrating sometimes especially at the later chapters. It is why I am taking some time off from it. 🥺 For others that prefer to read books, this manhwa is originally adapted from its same name South Korean Web Novel and it is already completely published. I strongly recommend this to people and I always do when people ask what manhwa to read.

The Abandoned Empress

    ‘The Abandoned Empress’ (Korean: 버림 받은 황비) is one of the first manhwa I found while I was taking a break from ‘Who Made Me Princess’. It is authored by Yuna and illustrated by Ina. This story tells of a young noble girl named Aristia who was raised to become the next empress of her empire. However, life had fallen apart with the sudden appearance of a mysterious girl with strange features. The Emperor turned his back at her despite her love for him and casted her aside for the strange girl and Aristia's miserable life as a lower queen - a position beneath the girl after having taken Aristia’s place - was cut short by her unjust death. However, with a surprising turn of events, she was given another shot at her life when she was returned back in time years prior to her death. 

              The story from the first chapter makes you want to throttle all those who had harmed Aristia in her first life because Aristia is such a strong character. Because of what she had gone through, she had developed trauma and would not even look at the emperor in the first part of the series. Consequently, not wanting a repeat of the ending of her past life, Aristia chose a different route that would ensure she would never become Queen again. Her choice seems to change her in a good way: Aristia had grown much closer with her father and had gained many trusting allies on her side. The author did a good job in growing her character and giving her purpose. However, the story is still frustrating with every turn of events which you can not help pity her as all she wants is to live a good life. It is a great manhwa to get you started especially when you never or rarely read manhwas or comics. ✨

The Lady Baby

    ‘The Lady Baby’ (Korean: 레이디 베이비) is another cute yet heart-aching story.  It is written by Ju Hyeon and was illustrated into a manhwa by Pingmin. The manhwa tells of a young lady from a once noble family named Calliope. Her life as a young adult was full of struggles as her family was affected by destruction that led to the false dishonor of her family name and a raging war. She was slowly withering away but a strange occurrence happened that led her to be shrouded in darkness and when Calliope awakens, she discovers she had found herself back in time to when she was just born. 

    This manhwa is one of my top three reincarnation stories including the Abandoned Empress. The illustrations are so beautiful and seeing Calliope as a toddler and yet speaking like she is still an adult is so hilarious especially seeing others reacting to how smooth and clear she speaks. This is a good manhwa for when you are looking for some wholesome family relationships because Calliope really loves and lives for the sake of her family’s future due to how tragic her first life was. This can be very sad sometimes especially during flashbacks, I cried a couple times reading this. 😭

Violet heart or Violent Heart/Sadao a name Coined by the Student body of Hourglass Station academy . Violet Heart seems to be a Complete 180 on Plutus’s Personality. Wheresas Plutus is Kinda of an air headed , Child-like ,Innocent but is often Friendly when He isn’t irritated.

Violet Heart is instead more Cocky, Serious , Seductive and Fight hungry . Violet Heart’s Presence is imposing , Threatening and Alluring .Violet Heart enjoy teasing people and giving them a Taste of their Own medicine .

This Gose hand and Hand with His Actions as he isn’t called Violent heart for nothing he is ruthless in battle if he came about while Plutus was Mad . But Violet Heart is Much less Ruthless if Plutus Transforms into him at will or in the Middle of the Fight. Violet Heart is geniunely having fun as he fighting against a good opponent .

Though he is Still Plutus so occasionally you’ll see Violet Heart become Genuinely confused and gullible .

The Seemingly Lazy , Carefree  Dorm Leader and Purple  sector leader . Hes seems to  have Bouts of  Being Energetic, Ditzy and Fun loving to Lazy and sleepy .He’s Laziness is often Compared to Peko’s. 

However Plutus’s Brand of Laziness is more like Let’s get out of   Work  by doing something  fun or working on a personal Project  instead of what He needs to or basically procrastinating . But he’s always willing to Get Serious And Work when He absolutely needs to get something done .

Plutus is also known for having a “ mean streak” often call “ Pluto” which Dorm Members  usually happening when he’s really mad or Upset a lot people  like “Pluto “ to Floyd or Jade Someone to likes to teach people a Lesson this is not like an Alter , but so a side of Plutus that no one wants to see . 

Plutus tends to break the fourth wall most often . Hes a bit of an Airhead and rather Careless though . However he Generally wants people to be happy .

Plutus nor his Brothers were not  born in the Shroud family rather they were said to have Come from the Sky a short time after Ortho’s Death , Still being Kids.  The Shroud Family took them and adopted them to” fill a Void “ from Ortho’s Passing. However, Idia seemed to hate them as Plutus would often overheard Idia

 “ How could they just replace Him with three other kids?”

“ It’s not Fair to him .” 

It’s seemed like Anything they did made Idia Dislike them even more.  Sometimes even telling them to Stop Copying him . Of course finding out Idia was making a Robot of his Brother Which disturbed him but, cant  to bring himself to Blame Idia and Besides Ortho’s Adorable.

Plus the Fact that STYX as an organization didn’t match his Morals at one point Over hearing that planned to “ capture “ the People from NRC who over blotted and Tried to get him to capture the Overblotted   in HSA. He Refused Saying “ You want them your Going to have to Kill me .”

The “ Pluto” part of his Personality is much more Prevalent in HDD  though Plutus can hold back his more Sadistic Urges , coming off as more confident ,Seductive and serious while still being a bit air headed

Unique Magic - Genesis OverDrive 

Plutus Can make Anyone or anything Into a “Weapon” based on Personality and What Plutus think they’d look good as .   The Weapon is Kinda  like Soul eater they can still See, Talk  and React.  He can also make himself into  a weapon … If a Small  sentient Stealth Bomber counts as a Weapon.

Trivia 

Plutus’s Birthday is The date The first Hyperdimension Neptunia game came out .

Plutus’s Utter hatred of Eggplant is also a Common Gag In Neptunia . 

Most of People have learned their Lesson about irritating Plutus. Most people never come out the Same.

Plutus having sadistic tendencies comes from Plutia/Iris Heart as well as his Ability to make Dolls .

Unlike Alban Who almost Everyone in Polisionalle try to (Rather rudely ) avoid like he’s the Plauge, They welcome this kid with open arms.. Have I mentioned Altus and Sega have Collaborated .

Some have also tried to convince Him that Alban is bad New but Plutus knows Alban is Rough around the Edges and what will Make Alban “Pull the Trigger “ .. Flynn and Rubina are on the List of things that will make Alban go nuts.

Everyone is Surprised that this Ditzy Kid is a math tutor and a very good one due his causal laidback Nature .

Plutus’s Brothers are based on Nepgear and Uzume .
