every saiki k fan has to watch the live action. you dont get it. they had 5 dollars, 3 bad wigs and a dream. the 2 running manga gags around kento yamazaki ("the fortuneteller told me i will meet kento yamazaki!" "omg the fortuneteller told me i will date kento yamazaki" "does she not know any other celebrities") and kanna hashimoto (saiki draws teruhashi using his soul capture power and it her) were possibly the only payment those two got. they went all out on the absurdity by refusing do a single special effect seriously. some scenes look like playing dolls with pngs. saikis mom actually does an "its morbin time" title call joke. saikis dad seems to possess canonical, semi purposeful, semi instinctual power to speak calamities into existence with sole purpose to annoy and burden his son. teruhashi is MUCH more evil and MUCH MUCH more lovable its insane how endearing the portrayal is. it all looks so dogshit tho. still no clue all these famous actors worked on this fever dream of a movie. watch live action saikik.

"You are challenged by Gym leader Zelvira!" Been into Pokemon again lately so I made a Gymsona! Naturally, we're going with ghost specialty, ehe~ I tried to recreate the pokemon style but I made the lineart too thick at first and it's just too late to go back.. Yapping ahead!

The ghastly evolution line would fit with him in the team because of his mischievous nature but sadly they're not really some of my favorites. But yeah! There is an obvious taste in my choice of Pokemons LMFAO The doll-likes and "edge", just like me HAHA

Here's a note on how I designed my Gymsona. I just based it on what I see on my Pokemon of choice + The designs I love about them. I have come to notice I really love the zigzag + Diamond pattern His gym is a haunted mansion. The Gimmick is inspired by Fatal Frame where you take a camera to take pictures of ghosts. The thing is the camera is needed to reveal secret passages. Take a picture of a ghost and you're getting png-jumpscare a.k.a trainer battle. The puzzle is as annoying as Flannery's puzzle because of the twists and turns of the passages. All the candles are blue but one with a slight purple flick is a hint to the right entrance, but only the camera can reveal it.

Occasionally, He will hold a magic show in the gym because why not :] Lore reason, it's to attract more people to try his gym and he just likes showing off many performative entertaining things Pokemon can do AAAA.. Got more lore about him but this is what I will share for now until next opportunity

There isn't really anything Gregory can do for Bonnie..

Its hard to explain,, but I'll try. Bonnie is missing his leg from the middle of his shin down. So he cant stand up right like Foxy because- well duh, he's missing a whole foot.

So order to fix Bonnies leg so he can stand/walk like Foxy does, he would need an entire replacement foot with a working joint. This would also mean that the wires in Bonnies legs would have to be replaced and hooked up so that he can control said new foot.

Currently there are no spare parts around that fit Bonnies model.. and even if they did, Gregory wouldn't know how to properly re-wire an animatronic foot. He's smart but not THAT smart <XDD

The only thing Gregory could do is make Bonnie a weird peg leg that makes his current leg longer. Currently Bonnies half leg is shorter than his good leg. But in all honesty Bonnie doesn't really want that.

Having Gregory ducttape this weird goofy peg leg to him would be more embarrassing then what he already has. He'd probably want to salvage what ever dignity he has left and say "ah give it a rest. There's no point. My legs good enough for what its for." <:/

If I remember correctly... Sometime ago my tablet pen broke. And it took like 2-3 weeks for a new one to arrive. In the mean time I tried to make an art doll of sorts. That doll was Bibi!

I ended up making a lot of goofy posts with Bibi and I as I waited for my pen to arrive. Once it finally did and I went back to drawing comics, I ended making Bibi a reoccurring character. And he's been around ever since!

Now Jangles is a Halloween prop that I bought because I thought it was funny. I was practicing making quilts one time and I made a small blue one that just so happened to be the right size for him. So I put it on and then I thiiink I got the idea to add Jangles to my blog as a joke.? I gave Bibi a "new friend" to celebrate hitting 10,000 followers. The new friend was a cropped png of jangles XD

Eventually down the line I wanted to give Bibi an proper friend. So for Bibi's birthday I drew a comic where Jangles came to life and here we are XD

Sally is very celestial in nature because she's a real star, Eddie used to be a real human and bleeds and has a heart beat and what not.. uuuuuuh what elseeee,,, I liked to imagine that Sally and Julie came to the neighborhood when they were really young and Poppy kind'a adopted them?? Although I don't know how wide spread that idea is XD

18. Choose a passage from your writing. Tell me about the backstory of this moment. How you came up with it, how it changed from start to end.

Going with the first passage with a clear origin story that came to mind. The first draft and final version of a moment from a long-awaited treasure at the end of my cruel fate:

The concept started very late when I was very on sleep meds way back in september and wrote this:

The next day I managed to figure out what I was thinking about, which was the final cutscene of Starcraft 2 Wings of Liberty. The dramatic reveal of Tychus working for Mengsk is ahhhhh. The way Jimmy just hears Mengsk's voice coming from Tychus's helmet and it sinks in that the man he thought was his best friend, who he has a long history with, was a mole working for his worst enemy for the entire game AHHHHHHHH

So I wanted a similar dramatic reveal moment with Serrennedy. Krauser's voice coming from an ear piece Luis has, Leon realizing that he's been betrayed. I went through a few variations of the rest of the plot, like there was a less angsty version where Leon didn't die, but the Saddler using Luis as a tool to distract Leon and Krauser monitoring him concept stayed the same over the SEVERAL MONTHS it sat in my drafts collecting dust

19. Tell me a story about your writing journey. When did you start? Why did you start? Were there bumps along the way? Where are you now and where are you going?

As far back as I can remember tbh. I was writing pokemon fanfiction by first grade. I just liked it. And I've been sporadically writing ever since, posting it online starting in middle school. I had a phase in middle school where I wanted to be a Real Fiction Writer™ in middle school, and then in high school I was a journalist for my school's newspaper and had a phase where I wanted to be a journalist. That interest gradually faded and was replaced with wanting to be a mortician (still planning on that!) and I lost interest in writing fics, possibly because my daily X-Men roleplay was enough to get my writing fix ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Something about Luis Serra did insane things to my brain and got me writing more than I had in a very long time, and actually posting my writing for the first time in years. I'm just going to keep going with whatever's fun for me.

24. How much prep work do you put into your stories? What does that look like for you? Do you enjoy this part or do you just want to get on with it?

This is hard for me to answer, it just depends. I just kinda do stuff impulsively. I guess my visualization stuff counts as prep. As everyone knows, my RE4R autism is terminal at this point and I have folders on my phone for a few characters, locations, pairings, etc. and the first thing I do when I come up with a new concept is go through all of those folders selecting pictures that feel related. And of course I do my playing with pngs like they're paper dolls edits.

It gets the brain juices flowing. And I do enjoy it, otherwise I just wouldn't do it.

Monster Never Cry

Been a while, huh? I’m back for another Monster Girl review, I feel this time more than any other I need to introduce what I’m reviewing

Monster Never Cry is a Gacha game whose premise is you are the recently defeated Demon Lord, tasked with rebuilding her army and retaliating against the warriors who got you. There’s also a weird meta aspect to it where the whole thing is an MMO, but it’s a mobile game. Who’s playing this for the story? Nah, like most mobile game players, I’m here for the PNGs. Like actually, I would never have given this game a shot if not for the whole monster thing. We got a lot of monsters to cover this time, I’m reviewing every fem presenting monster available in this game, so I’ll be going through each entry quickly.

Coronis

So she’s like an archer crow lady? Not really a monster is she? That artwork doesn’t really do her favors, but the alt skin looks pretty nice.

Lilith

Not exactly an original idea but it’s executed pretty well here. Rich fancy vampire princess, what else can I say?

Sadora

This design is great, among my favorite in the whole game. It’s a shame it’s stuck on a mid tier monster, in terms of gameplay. Creepy animated dolls are what got me to try out Bloodborne, we don’t see enough of them and this one is among the best I’ve seen.

Undine

I think she’s a water elemental or a minor deity or something. It conveys that idea well enough, and the harp angle is interesting but it’s just not really for me.

This does give me the opportunity to address what I’ve referred to in the past as the “paint her blue” problem. Monsters in this game have a small chance to be shiny like in Pokémon, and in many cases the shiny has a more human skin tone. I previously expressed distaste for this trope but this game’s monsters make me reconsider my opinion.

Sylph

This game has a few plant girls and they all have the same problem, they’re all pretty much just girls with plant bits on them. This one’s pretty good though, and I like the Mario reference in her shiny, intentional or not.

Oul

I think this one’s supposed to be a Djinn? Her title implies she’s some sort of mage and in game she acts like a merchant, so I’m not sure. The design is pretty busy, and I think the shiny should have been the default. Something about Genie girls with purple hair just feels right, couldn’t tell you why.

Unrelated, I’m real excited for Risky Revolution. It’s crazy that it’s actually getting made now.

Arachne

Basic spider girl, and it’s not really trying to be anything else. It’s pretty good for what it is, though I wish they’d committed to giving her extra eyes instead of those weird red patches.

Gurnius

For a mid tier monster her design is very busy. You see a design like this and immediately think it’s gonna be a rare strong monster, that’s not just me right?

Daisy

The one exception to the weak plant girl designs in this game, and it’s on a low tier monster. Cactus cowgirl is way too good an idea to waste on a low tier in my opinion.

Siren

I think she’s a forest nymph? It’s a fun design, if a bit basic. Butterfly-winged forest fairy ladies are kinda a dime a dozen so I don’t have strong opinions.

Why is her name Siren though?

Rabby

“Boxing Champion”.

It’s a good rabbit girl design, though I’m obligated to point out: That’s not a monster, it’s just anthro.

Pania

“Forest Priest” is about as helpful as “Boxing Champion”, though it at least gives us a habitat. My headcanon is she’s a Duende. It’s a passable design, cute little girl stands out in this game.

Sarcophagurl

Another Frankenstein girl has appeared in this series, and honestly? I like this one a lot. The eyeball theme is a bit incongruous.

...“Mech Maiden”? In what way?

Vespa

I think she’s supposed to be a succubus, which is kinda funny as she’s one of the least malegaze-y designs in this game. The alt skin amends this, and considering Succubi are sex demons honestly I think it’s fine. Pretty good design, all things considered.

Zenobia

Dragon Girl with a sleek design. The outfit here is an absolute disaster but if she was wearing full armor or even a t-shirt and khakis she would be completely fine, pretty good even.

The human skintone on the shiny makes me uncomfortable, probably because it accents just how awful that outfit is.

Octasia

I’m not sure what she’s supposed to be. I guess she’s like Ursula from Disney’s The Little Mermaid? So she’s a Mermaid? Mixing vertebrate and invertebrate features is always a risk in my opinion and I don’t think it works here.

Medusa

Like straight up? This game’s also got “Dracula” so I guess so. Another otherwise good design ruined (in my opinion) by a weird outfit. I do really like how this game does animals though, with those Rareware-style googly eyes. It really helps this game’s designs stand out where they show up.

Palaeophis

Another Mermaid, assuming Octasia is, in fact, a mermaid. This one’s name shoulda been Siren. Mostly naked is par for the course for Mermaids so I can’t really fault this design for that, but I will once again complain about it being busy. Weird for a design with almost no clothes.

Kukulkan

That Mesoamerican deity is eating a girl. That’s brutal.

Jokes aside I would like this design drastically more if the girl aspect was removed and it was just the winged serpent part.

Nafisa

This design scratches the same part of my brain as Aigis from Persona. Not really sure what’s up with that floating head but I can’t help but like this one. Creepy doll girls, I’m telling you.

Mischa

Pretty good design for a Beegirl, but once again, that’s not a monster, that’s just anthro. Hold on, why is the Succubus named Vespa and not the literal Vespid?

Venus

It would’ve made more sense if Sylph, the man-eating plant girl, was named Venus, as most man-eating plants are styled after Venus Flytraps. It still works for a thorn girl, but the same issue Sylph had is present here. She’s got thorns and flowers coming out of her but she is essentially just a girl.

Kurarith

Anthro Jellyfish girl. Mixing Vertebrate and Invertebrate features like Octasia. Just like with Kukulkan she’s kinda just a girl attached to a monster, and like Zenobia she’s got a stupid outfit. Really a showcase of every design decision I don’t like this game has made, but interpreted instead as a jellyfish themed outfit it’s actually not bad.

Tarani

This character has not been added to the game yet and I cannot begin to guess what kind of monster she’s even supposed to be. Maybe a Satyr? Angelic Beast? Dragon Girl? This one’s just bad, sorry. I hope they reconsider the direction they’re taking these designs in.

The Demon Lord

Arachne was just A Spider Girl, The Demon Lord is THE Spider Girl. Kinda an interesting choice to make the leader of the Monster Forces a spider. It’s an alright enough design, reminiscent of Kumoko from So I’m A Spider, So What?, specifically in how a girl pops out of the spider’s head eventually. Didn’t like it there and I’m not huge on it here either, though the girl pops out pretty early here and replaces the spider’s head.

I’m overall kinda surprised at the quality of the designs here, even when the designs are weak there’s usually at least a good idea in there. Is it worth putting up with a Gacha game for? Probably not, though I think I’m gonna stick around at least just to see what new characters they add.

You know my current designs? And how they're, yk....normal? Well when I was 12, I decided that normality is for peasants. And also refining my lines. And also proper anatomy. And stylistic consistency. Pretty much everything?

I might reuse Barbie's fit. It's extra. like her. And also based on doll clothes I actually have.

Fun fact about Zepeto! They're terrible with gradient/unerased not at full opacity things on PNGs!

This is magical girl snufkin. The original transformation I tried to do. Wasn't into winx yet lol. I was, however into sailor moon. This image was traced from a sailor moon chibi artwork. I like the proportions on those artworks. They have a slightly squished normal body and only a slightly large head. I remember first seeing these types of proportions in a "how to draw chibis" book I got from hobby lobby, let my friend borrow, then never saw again.

This transformation was based on the failed sailor moon localization named "Team Angel" which I actually tried to revive around this time. I actually got a comment on one of my recent YouTube videos, someone asked if I was still trying to remake it. I thought nobody actually remembered, or even cared. That was why I stopped in the first place. Crazy, huh? Well anyway, I think I'm gonna start it up again. Before someone else beats me to it.

In 2023 all soul, Snufkin wouldn't use this word. Sonic would.

I don't have the original PNGs of these images. While I remember posting these to Amino, I'm not going back to that app, Ive had too many bad experiences. Until my mate @prettyputrified sent in the ask that gave me an idea; polyvores!! So anyway, I made some more "What's in [x character]'s bag" type posts as a response to this!

Sylvain's Bag

Work Bag: The plain black bag Sylvain takes with him when he goes on jobs. It contains only what he needs, which are usually no more than his weapon of choice and his collection of burner phones. Oh, and a pack of cigarettes. Murder is pretty stressful after all.

Casual Bag: Sylvain's own personal purse and wallet. Despite his rough and violent demeanor, he loves self expression and indulging in the emo/pastel goth aesthetic.

- Pocket 1: Self defense pocket. The streets of Pythonel are a dangerous place, so Sylvain makes sure not to leave the house without a gun and/or knife. The weed is purely for sale by the way, not edglord enough I guess.

- Pocket 2: Self care pocket. Contains his own personal phone, which he decorates in cool stickers he finds while out and about. Also makeup and protection, in case he wants to doll up for someone he fancies.

Aldin's Bag

Shopping Bag: Aldin just uses the same plastic shopping bag he got ten years ago to carry everything. Usually has empty cans and drug garbage in there with everything else. Phone is busted to hell, but you know Aldin's broke ass can't replace it. Get your shit together man what is this???

Jeagar's Bag

Bag: Ann made it (and basically all his clothes) for him. She tries to include stuff she knows Jeagar likes on it. He never says it aloud, but his old ass appreciates it. Always has bugs inside it that he finds in dire circumstances.

- Pocket 1: Used to store weapons and cigarettes. Usually alternates between his collection of fancy weaponry when he goes out. Matchboxes are from Ann's thrift shopping. Never buys any of his cigarettes, instead he digs up used ones from the dump.

- Pocket 2: Leisure pocket. Contains whatever books he's reading at the moment. Carries around his favorite songs on cassette tapes because the radio people have bad taste. Phone is an old ass brick phone he's had for the last 20 years. How does that thing still work??

- Pocket 3: Emergency pocket. Always has at least one Molotov cocktail in his bag. Just in case.

John's Bag

Backpack: Simple brown backpack John brings when he goes on trips. Has his keys and pins that he finds funny. Tomagachi is a gift from Ferris for when he's stressed out.

- Front Pocket: Sketch pocket. Has all his little sketchbooks and pencils for when he's bored. Also draws on pieces of loose paper like receipts and used envelopes.

- Inside (smaller part): Comfort pocket. Has porn and alcohol in it all the time, always. Keeps more hardcore drugs in a vintage tin case. Please don't ask about the wedding ring.

- Inside (larger part): All the random shit he's stolen. Purely does it to satiate his "tendencies", as he calls it. Usually takes valuables or vintage items, but will nab literally anything if need be.

Charles' Bag

Backpack: Old backpack Charles covered in cool stickers and patches. Loves creepy stuff and clutter, which shows in how he decorates most of his belongings. Negative space who?

- Front Pocket: Fun shit pocket. Ready access to drugs, money, music, and most importantly, video games. Phone is some dinky bullshit covered in stickers. Actually has to replace it semi-regularly due to being a temperamental little bitch that destroys shit.

- Main Pocket: "Important" storage pocket. Where he puts his bong when he goes out to a buddy's. Pretty much always has a shitload of random snacks. Always contains at least two guns no matter what.

Ferris' Bag

Handbag: Bag Ferris stole from a thrift store and covered in patches and pins. Decorates the same way Charles does, but has more vintage and kidcore-esc tastes. Oh and also sexy ladies.

- Pocket 1: Storage pocket. Always has drugs on him, either to sell or use. Keeps his wallet in there for business purposes. Mainly has weed, but will also carry other stuff too.

- Pocket 2: Fun pocket. Books and video games for when he's bored. A rough draft of whatever gross fic he's working on in case inspiration strikes him. Weapons used to make potential inspo. A camera to capture said inspo. Phone is nothing special, just a sticker-covered little flip phone he actually takes decent care of.

- Lunchbox: Usually carries this along with his bag. Keeps the bigger snacks and drinks he can't stick in his bag. Organization is important after all!

Daniel's Bag

Handbag: Alternates between one of his many vintage-looking, designer handbags. Loves excessive gold and jewels in his accessories. Minimalism is so overrated. Daniel's cutesy pink and white flip phone is hardly anything special on the surface. Gets a bit strange when you realize it's the only bit of modern tech in Goldberg. Weird...

Farrah's Ordinary Work Day: an interactive fiction, written in Inform 6, originally meant to be played on an Asspull 3X port of Frotz. Hence the use of I6 instead of I7, so it can be smaller and fit on a single 1.44 MB disk image. Behind my recent "story of my life" post.

Untitled Platform Game Formerly Known As Rock Sockem: I've tried to make my own platform game engine before. I managed to do it once, in C, but lost the source code to the undertow of history. All later attempts managed to break in various ways and that really didn't do my confidence issues any good. This attempt seems to work well enough, though. And the one bug I did encounter was super hard to reproduce and I know exactly why it happened. Then I decided to rework it from "riff on Duke Nukem 2" into something involving the Firrhna Project, like FOWD and The Dating Pool are.

On Bucky’s one-hundred-and-seventh birthday, y/n, Sam, and Bucky were gathered around Bucky’s dining room table and a small cake with 1, 6, and 7 numbered candles was set on the table in front of Bucky. 

Y/n dimmed the lights and took her spot next to her boyfriend. 

“Happy birthday to you,” Sam and y/n started to sing. 

As they finished the song, Bucky smiled at his girlfriend and Sam. Bucky didn’t intend to even celebrate his birthday with anyone; he didn’t even have plans to celebrate by himself in the first place. But as soon as he met y/n and she had gotten hold of the fact that his birthday was coming up, she knew she wanted to put together something special for him. And since Sam was the only person she knew Bucky even talked to, she wanted to have some kind of get-together. 

Kissing Bucky on the cheek, y/n got up to grab a knife to cut the cake. She cut off a large slice each for the boys and a medium-sized piece for herself.

“So, Bucky, what’s your next move with finding Zemo? Any leads?” Sam asked, his mouth full with chocolate cake.

“Hey, uh-uh. No work talk,” y/n scolded, pointing her fork at Sam. “It’s a birthday party.”

“Fine,” Sam sighed. “How are things going with helping your sister move in?” he asked, directing the question at y/n.

“Not bad, it’s taking a lot longer than we thought it would, though,” y/n answered. 

“She’s got a lot of stuff,” Bucky grumbled. “We’ve had to go over there four days in a row.”

Sam chuckled, “You’re a super soldier. Can’t you use your super strength and just throw everything in the moving truck?”

Y/n answered for him, playfully rolling her eyes. “You know Bucky. ‘Ooh, I’m bitter and I won’t stop whining’.”

“Ok, one, that was a terrible impression of me, and two, I’m not whining. I’m just saying she has a lot of stuff to move,” Bucky stated, defending himself. 

“Yeah, she does have three kids,” y/n agreed. “It’s a shit ton of toys.”

“Sounds like my nephews,” Sam smiled. 

Soon, the cake was all gone, and Sam announced that he had some work to do. The couple saw their friend out and then started to clean up from their small party.

“Ok, so I know I gave you the majority of your gifts when Sam was here, but I saved a special one for you,” y/n smiled as they sat down on the couch, planning to watch a movie. 

“Doll, you didn’t have to do that,” Bucky said, flashing her a sincere smile. “This has already been the best birthday I’ve had in a long time.”

Y/n blushed and returned his smile. “It’s nothing, really.”

Bucky tore apart the carefully wrapped paper and found a framed picture of him and y/n inside. It was a picture of the two of them, a selfie that y/n had taken on their first date. She was smiling at the camera, but Bucky’s head was turned, smiling at her instead. It was their favorite picture.

“This is beautiful,” Bucky said, placing his fingers on the side of y/n’s face, turning her head to kiss her. “Thank you.”

When they broke apart, y/n said, “I noticed you didn’t really have any decorations or pictures or anything, so I thought you could use a picture of us somewhere.”

“I absolutely love it,” Bucky assured her, getting up to place it on the fireplace mantle. “And I absolutely love you.”

“I love you too, Buck,” y/n said, giving him another kiss. “Happy birthday.”
