Turning their attention to the shadowy figure, Mewtwo’s mind raced.

The stinging pain of their injury was still throbbing on their leg. Their flight to the cave didn’t help their fatigue. They were in no position to fight, and they certainly didn’t want to fight!

Instinct took over, and the Mewtwo hunched up to make themselves appear intimidating.

Chchchchchch!! The Pokemon began chattering its teeth, only making their failed display of a threat even sillier.

(@askstormscall) Susano @ Nate and Crew: Watching the dragons battle, the old Legend felt an itch. It had been a long time since the Lugia had the urge to fight. There was a look towards the Rayquaza, Queztal overhead. They had no intentions of battling full out, this island wouldn't be able to handle it. Maybe just a taste of it. There was a slight smile as the Lugia spoke addressing the human. "I wish to battle. I will not go overboard but perhaps they would not mind testing their mettle against the likes of me." A grin, a show of teeth as the Lugia spread their wings.

[Before Nat could form much of a response, a clamor of heavy footfalls drew closer and passed him by.]

I would like to get one if I ever do return to mortal realm - or maybe your universe even!" she eyed the pillow once more happily

Destino: How am I supposed to manipulate Pokémon if you’re out here complimenting these peasants?

*Destino, in the most dramatic fashion they could muster up, began to flail their arms around. They didn’t actually mean it; they just wanted to make a show.*

Destino: You’ve ruined the entire joke. I was going to have this entire dialogue going. It was going to be a whole thing. But no. I can’t have nice things. Instead, my entire evening has gone to shit. Fine. Have your conversation with this clown. I’ll be over here admiring myself.

*Destino walks over to the wall, looking at themselves.*

Swooping down, the Mewtwo enters the cave with a loud THUD.

Quiet. Empty. A good place to hide out.

Or so they think.

Some doodles I did of the fam to ease myself out of my creative slump, hoping to get back on track eventually; but life has has a lot of other plans lately. So to avoid burn out I’m taking it slow and focusing on commissions as I chip away at the next updates. Game plan is without the deadlines in place, I’ve added 3 more updates to flesh stuff out, so the next one will be short and sweet, with the follow ups being closed to 10 pages a piece, 40-60 panels.

After them, it’s just the finale animatic, then it’s just whenever I decide to go live itch Noe’s arc X3
