deine Mutti is a band from Bergamo, Italy. I learned about them because I follow the Bandcamp user polaroidblog. They have followed this blog for a while and when I saw their name pop up on Bandcamp, I followed.

I immediately bought this because it was only 1 euro + shipping. And, obviously, the music is great. This is lo-fi pop with hints of The Cake Kitchen, The Pastels or Fortunato Durutti Marinetti.

This is self-released. I'm consistently amazed at how much great music is out there that is virtually unknown or hidden. I love small labels like Subjangle or Jigsaw that seem to have a knack for bands like deine Mutti. Here's hoping one of them or someone else can provide a larger platform for this up and coming band.
