we know that tumblr is not bluesky so like. are we bonkers for saying this but we somehow dont think that the horny human bodied trans posts using the transformers tag (which is also not something sex workers and horny trans humans on bluesky do they're having a normal one) are coming from anyone but bot accounts. especially since some of them are using trans guy and trans gal (without like, a bigender or polygender tag, which is strange) and trans exclusionary radical feminist tags all in the same breath, and the kicker here is - a lot of these posts were within the last 24-48hrs with the trans day of visibility tag. TDOV is march 31st. nice try.
so like even before getting into how this effects trans transformers art and writing this takes up the trans tag too and its like. whatever fucking asshole is out there making a mockery of trans people of all kinds by and likely stealing photos of the likes of us for porn accounts let me personally, and respectfully say what I have to say about how people like you have been doing this for cis women too: This is an awful act, and I have the utmost disdain for you for commodifying our bodies without consent or agency. It makes navigating this website already bereaved with transphobia and transmisogyny (which effects everyone not just trans women but us in particular) more of a pain in the butt and it is deeply insulting to both the real variety of our expressions and our (a)sexual lives.
What we hate most about this is that the backlash by staff and mass reporting will likely result in actual trans people whether sex workers or not losing their accounts so scrap you honestly. YOU KNOW THERE'S A GENOCIDE GOING ON IN MULTIPLE COUNTRIES RIGHT? AND REGARDING THE USA AMID MASS ARRESTS FOR BEING ON HRT OR OUT AS TRANS IN STATES WHERE THAT IS NOW ILLEGAL, DO YOU KNOW WHAT V-CODING IS? DO YOU KNOW WHAT PRISONS DO TO TRANS WOMEN IN THE USA? AND THIS IS WHAT YOU DO INSTEAD OF BOTHERING TO AT LEAST VOTE FOR SOMEONE WHO GIVES A SHIT ABOUT US OR DONATE MUTUAL AID TO ACTUAL TRANS PEOPLE INCLUDE PEOPLE IN THE SEX WORK INDUSTRY? You haven't read Gender as Accumulation Strategy by Kay Gabriel which goes over how trans people, trans women, left with nothing and sexually commodified and exiled by society made use of sex work to build up resources, support each other, and fight for liberation. Frag you. Sweet Solus, frag you.
For our part, posting trans transformers stuff is something that doesn't get as much attention tumblr interaction-wise (after releasing our essay and the whole thing with polls a while back it was very clear that are a number of people who do pay attention to this stuff but dont interact directly which is understandable there's no shame in that especially with all the shit going on right now and we just want to say to those who follow our stuff we appreciate you, salute you, and hope the best for you) and we don't bother with actually using the transformers tag here much to search for things but it does hurt.
Again, what we hate most about this is that the backlash by staff and mass reporting will likely result in actual trans people whether sex workers or not losing their accounts. Dear fellow trans and gender expansive people, we are in this together, be kind to each other, we will only survive with solidarity to one another and to all issues of oppression and not on trans liberation alone. We definitely agree with Kay Gabriel on that

I found the perfect website for anyone wanting to change their name and/or pronouns
It’s called pronoun closet and you can insert your name and pronoun(s) and it will generate a generic paragraph, and add your info to other longer texts (all short stories)
Tumblr media
It’s perfect if you want to figure out what works for you, or if you just want some good ol’ validation (which we all need at times).
And if you can’t figure it out, you can get them generated for you
Tumblr media
^that was done by clicking the generic (a-s) button
And if you are using they/them pronouns (or anything else that is usually a plural word) you may want to click plural just because it doesn’t make as much sense that way, but it’s up to you.
Stay safe everyone. Y’all are so damn valid, every one of you.

Gender Natures List Nov. 2020
(EDIT: DO NOT REBLOG. Likes are fine. I'm going to make a new post that's better to help avoid the confusion this has caused some folx. Thank you and stay tuned. ♡) Y’all have probably seen terminology like “FIN” or “MIN” or “AGIN” or other acronyms ending in -IN. These are categories describing different distinct gender traits, which is helpful to have for many reasons. It has become the primary way gender traits are generally categorized and many new and lesser known ones have developed to describe existing gender traits, so I am taking the time to list them all (and make flags for some without them, in another post). I will give descriptions and extra info for some of the traits if I feel clarification is needed. Some of these I coined, many I didn’t.
FIN- Feminine In Nature.
MIN- Masculine In Nature.
LIN- Androgynous (the L comes from Male/Female) In Nature. Includes natures that are both FIN and MIN, or those which blend the two natures.
AGIN- Agenine/Agender In Nature.
NIN- Neutral In Nature.
UIN- Unknowable* In Nature. UIN is unique in that the “U” refers to several similar adjectives which are used interchangeably, although I personally use “unknowable” as the default for ease and generality. It can also stand for uncertain, unquantifiable, undefinable, unidentifiable, unexplainable and undeterminable. This gender nature differs from questioning in that the UIN individual does in fact know that the nature of their gender is inherently unknowable. I pronounce it simply as “un” but this isn’t official as I did not coin it.
EPIN- Epicene In Nature
YIN- Yonderine In Nature
AIN- Aporine/Aporagender In Nature.
ABIN- Abinary In Nature. This includes several other natures under it like AIN, XIN, AGIN, and NIN and therefore isn’t a specific category, but it has been coined and can be helpful for more general use so I am listing it.
XIN- Xenine/Xenogender In Nature.
AMIN- Ambiguous In Nature. (pronounced amm-in)
USIN- Confusing In Nature. (pronounced “usin’“, like “using” contracted)
APIN- Apathetic In Nature. (pronounced “appin”)
QUIN- Queer In Nature. Also includes genders such as genderpunk or genderf*ck, and other intentionally and/or prominently non-normative genders. And includes genderqueer of course. (Pronounced "kwin")
AUIN- Autonomous In Nature. I pronounce it “aww-in” but I didn’t coin it so I won’t claim that as “official” or anything. EDIT: coiner gender-resource pronounces it the same way.
PLIN- Partial In Nature. Basically demigender type terms.
CIN- Collect/Collected In Nature
POIN- Pangender/Polygender/Omnigender In Nature. (pronounced “pon”)
UXIN- Flux In Nature.
IDIN- Fluid In Nature.
FLIN- Fluix In Nature. Combination of UXIN and IDIN.
OIN- Outherine In Nature.
OKIN- Otherkin/Kingender In Nature.
ROIN- Neurogender In Nature. (pronounced “rowan”/”row-in”)
AUTIIN- Autistic/Autigender In Nature. Subtype of ROIN.
FEIN- Female In Nature. Female is different from feminine.
MAIN- Male In Nature. Male is different from masculine.
NUIN- Null In Nature.
VOIN- Void In Nature. Can’t find the post now but I swear I saw it coined so I’m listing it. I think it was coined in the same post as NUIN.
It is possible that there are signified traits I’m not aware of that are not listed here, but regardless, there are still some qualities to be signified in the future. If you have questions about any of the traits, you can search for them on major gender blogs or message me and I will clarify. (Except OIN bc I’m still trying to figure it out myself lmao like I know the definition but not what it *is* or examples etc)
(Also only neurodivergent folks can use ROIN and only autistic folks can use AUTIIN hopefully that goes without saying but just in case)

i would also recommend looking at pangender and other polygenders! they can be similar to what you said! (@pride-color-schemes is a good resource for definitions imo!)
I will! Thank you very much, and I’ll be sure to check out the blog too!

Can you tell me what the four colours in the non binary flag mean/stand for? I can't find a resource online that explains it like you can for many of the other LGBT+ flags. Thank you.
Purple: The mixing of male and female (red + blue); representing people who are both binary genders at once!
Yellow: Represents all genders outside of male and female, as it is the primary color that isn’t red or blue (colors stereotypically associated with male and female)
White and black are a bit confusing. One of them represents pangender and polygender people, and one represents the absence of a gender. Both black or white could mean either of those, and you can read about why here.

in your master post and on your blog, the gender flowchart link is broken
i accessed those links from my desktop. perhaps it’s a problem with mobile?
therefore i’m reposting these with the original links to give credit etc. the “gender identity flowchart” & the “nonbinary flowchart” both appear to be the same webpage: https://transgenderteensurvivalguide.tumblr.com/flowchart
the nonbinary flowchart includes binary identities too. so i guess i’ll copy & paste them here for you.
now if these links are broken please contact transgenderteensurvivalguide.tumblr.com since they do want such information too & it is their blog these are connected too.
Here are the URLs to the visual flowchart & the drop down survey option:

NB Flowchart
Ren says:
Here is the nonbinary flowchart (well…more like a series of questions), now on the sidebar for your convenience! It’s designed to help introduce you to a variety of genders, as well as guide you in the general direction of what your identity could be labeled. Let us know if you spot any inconsistencies, broken links, or want us to add anything, and don’t hesitate to ask questions. :) The mods that identify as one of the genders below are listed next to the definition if you want to ask them questions about it.
Here is an interactive version of this flowchart! This version was made by former mod Ari, and works best on the computer.
Need something visual, or at least less confusing? Here you go!
1. Do you always identify with the gender you were assigned at birth?
A. No. (Continue to #2)B. Sometimes. (Continue to #2)C. Yes. (You’re cis! You might want to check out our ally resources.)
2. How many genders is your identity made up of? In other words, is it fluid?
A. Just one. (Continue to #3)B. Two. (Continue to #4)C. Three. (Go to #5)D. Two or more. (Go to #13)E. I don’t know - help! (Continue to #10)
3. Is that one gender binary?
A. Yes. (You’re probably BINARY TRANSGENDER!)B. No. (Continue to #10)C. It’s sort of…well…uh…I don’t know? (Go to #6)D. Sort of, but not entirely. (Go to #8) [Mod Phoenix is a trans man, mod Chris is a trans man, mod Archer is a trans male, mod Callie is a trans girl, mod Asis is a trans girl, mod Eden is a trans girl, mod Kay is a trans woman, mod Saffron is a transwoman, mod Chrissi is a trans woman, ]
4. Can those genders coexist?
A. No, I don’t think so. (Go to #13)B. No, they’re polar opposites, and I mean that in more than a gender-binary way. (Go to #7)C. Yes, and they do, often! (Go to #9)D. Yes…well…maybe? (Go to #14)
5. You might be TRIGENDER! Trigender people experience three genders (not necessarily the binary ones). Sometimes it’s just one gender, sometimes it’s two, sometimes it’s all three and sometimes it’s none at all. If you think this describes you, check out these resources for more info!
6. You might be POLYGENDER! This identity is like a melting pot of several different gender expressions all at once, mixed so well that sometimes it’s hard to tell the difference between all of them. If you think this describes you, check out these resources for more info! Note: two of these resources describe pangender, which has similar intent but is a problematic term - discussed here.
7. You might be GENDERFLUX (also known as GENDERFLEX)! This identity is a fluid one, going between genderlessness and genderedness. What that gendered part is, only you can tell, but for now, if you think this describes you, check out these resources for more info!
8. You might be a DEMIGIRL or DEMIBOY! These folks feel they are partially, but not wholly, female or male, whether or not it’s the gender they were assigned at birth. If you think this describes you, check out these resources for more info! (This tumblr is a particularly positive resource!) [Note: there are also DEMI-NONBINARY people, and I would advise checking out the last link for more info on this.]
9. You might be BIGENDER! Bigender people experience two genders (not necessarily the binary ones), sometimes just one, sometimes both, sometimes none at all. If you think this describes you, check out these resources for more info! (Close but not quite? Check out #17).
10. Do you feel like you have a gender?
A. Yes, of course! (Go to #15)B. No. (Go to #11)C. Sometimes. (Go to #7)D. Not really, but I’d still like to be able to present myself the way I want when I want. (Go to #12)E. Nothing you’ve said so far has fit! (Go to #16)
11. You might be AGENDER (also known as GENDERLESS)! Agender literally means ‘no gender’, and most people who associate with it just don’t want any gender ascribed to them at all. If you think this describes you, check out these resources for more info!
12. You might be NEUTROIS! The concept of neutrois is similar to agender (see #11), but has one key difference: the ideal situation for most neutrois people would be the ability to add or remove gender identifiers at will, in order to play with their gender presentation. That doesn’t necessarily mean they identify with that gender, of course - they still usually feel either gender-neutral or genderless entirely. If you think this describes you, check out these resources for some more info.
[Mod Ren is neutrois]
13. You might be GENDERFLUID! Some genderfluid folks identify between the binary genders, but others can go from female to neutrois, or agender to male, or anywhere that they feel they fit at that point in time. Sometimes they even go between more than two genders. These genders can happen at the same time, or apart. Shifts in gender can happen at any time, sometimes within days, sometimes within minutes, sometimes within years - although some people have noticed correlations between their hormonal cycles and shifting genders. If you think this describes you, check out these resources for more info (Close but not quite? Check out #17.)  [Mod Ren and mod Devon are genderfluid]
14. You might be MIXED GENDER! Mixed gender people sometimes describe themselves similarly to polygender people (see #6): their genders are a sort of melting pot between binary or other non-binary genders. Sometimes they all happen at once, and sometimes they just mix together. If you think this may describe you, check out the resources listed under polygender (#6) or scroll down to check out aliagender and aporagender. Note: previously listed as intergender, but that term is only okay to use for yourself if you are intersex!
15. You might be GENDERQUEER! Often genderqueer is used as a blanket term for multiple nonbinary identities, but can also be used as a more specific term that describes someone whose gender is, well, queer. It’s similar to describing a difficult-to-explain sexuality as queer, and so it gives genderqueer people a lot more freedom to identify a certain way while still using a commonly-known term. If you think this might describe you, check out these resources for more info! [Mod Lee is genderqueer]
16. Don’t worry - there are more options!
You might be ANDROGYNE - a state of gender between the two binary genders. [Mod Toddy is  androgyne]
You could simply be GENDER NEUTRAL, which is fairly self-evident.
Perhaps you’re wlw and like the idea of not being part of the binary, but still sort of present as part of it - you could be NONBINARY BUTCH, or NONBINARY FEMME
Maybe you’re GENDERPUNK (also known as GENDERF*CK), which is behavior specifically designed to mess with people’s interpretation of your gender. Features of genderpunk can also mix into other nonbinary identities!
If you’re looking for a third gender that does not appropriate from cultures that you don’t belong to, check out ALIAGENDER or APORAGENDER, I have also heard ambigender be used.
17. You might be DEMIFLUX! This term is used to describe the intersection of genderfluid and bigender identities, in which one of the genders remains ‘static’ while the second gender fluctuates. (x)
…But none of these describe me! What do I do?
There’s info on neurogenders here, and there’s more definitions of different non-binary genders here that includes some more niche ones that may suit you if the ones on this page haven’t.
Don’t worry - there’s plenty of other non-binary identities out there, and some probably haven’t even been invented yet! Look around a little, or ask us some questions about the way you feel. Know that you aren’t alone just because you’re just a rare specimen. Find words that you like, and make them fit you. That’s what being nonbinary is all about: reshaping the world and its words in order to better fit yourself!

Note
hi, so i've been questioning my gender again recently and i feel like i'm a girl, not exacltly boy more like boy adjacent, and like i'm agender at the same time. they just fight against each other and one "wins" and that's how i present myself that day. i haven't found a word i really like that describes this, i've only heard of ambonec (which i was told was if you id as man, woman, and genderless all at once) and i don't think that's right for me
Here are a few glossaries you can utilize to help find a microlabel:
http://genderfluidsupport.tumblr.com/genderhttp://gender.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Gender_Identitieshttps://nonbinary.wiki/wiki/Main_Page
There’s also a bunch of blogs like @beyond-mogai-pride-flags, @genderlist, @imoga-pride, and @variant-archive that are meant to help collect labels and be lexicon/pride resources.
You can utilize the search feature to help narrow down your search. ^^
The terms that immediately came to mind for me when I read your ask were: nonbinary, trigender, polygender, and genderflux. As for the boy adjacent part of your gender, you might be interested in the term proxvir.
Please note that there’s no rules as to how you have to label. You can choose:
One label
Multiple labels
Together/at the same time
Fluctuating/at different times
An umbrella/general term
A microlabel(s)
A microlabel(s) and umbrella term
A label that you have specially created to describe your experience/identity
No label whatsoever
Questioning as a label
I’m sorry this probably isn’t what you were hoping for, but no one can determine the right term(s) for you except you. Also, there is not always some magical ‘aha!’ revelation moment. Sometimes it takes some time to settle on a term. It took me a matter of years to come to accept that I was nonbinary and be totally comfortable thinking of myself as such. I spent months searching for the perfect term before accepting it was overwhelming me, backing off, and just sitting with nonbinary for a while. There wasn’t a time when the pieces just fell together at the same time or when the heavens opened up and sang to me. I grew into the terms. I fell into love with them, very, very slowly. The only sudden thing was realizing, years later, that I had actually, at some point I hadn’t even known, accepted I was nonbinary and that the term nonbinary felt right for me.
I hope this helped, and good luck finding a term you like!

Possibilities / possible examples
I’ve seen a lot of people confused about how can they know whether they are mesobinary, viabinary, exobinary or ideobinary, if it’s not solely dictated by gender.
So here are some examples that might help:
Possible exobinary examples
⭑ Lyon is a maverique. Lyon's dysphoria makes them unable to decide on what kind of body they want, because they don't want a "feminine", "masculine", "androgynous" or "neutral" body. Lyon feels erased when people act like people who transition must be either transmasculine or transfeminine, or when people judge their presentation as masculine, feminine or androgynous. Lyon identifies as exobinary because they feel like they are completely out of the binary.
⭑ Allie is polygender. Some of faer genders are masculine or feminine, but most of faer genders are xenogenders, like caelgender, a gender relating to space, and gendoux, a gender relating to pastels. Fae feels like faer genders aren't acknowledged enough; most people who talk about them just do it to say they can't really exist, and Allie's local trans community has shunned faer for talking about faer "weird genders" instead of sticking to using gender identity just to define the body fae wants. Even if Allie has masculine and feminine genders, fae feels like the biggest hurdle fae faces is the lack of acknowledgement for different identities that don't rely on the binary at all, and this is why Allie only identifies as exobinary.
⭑ Yuri is genderless. Yuri identifies as exobinary and wants exobinary spaces because Yuri hates being gendered in any way, and even a lot of nonbinary-specific stuff acts like people can only be man-adjacent, woman-adjacent, feminine, masculine and/or androgynous.
⭑ Stela is a nonbinary girl. But ze is very political regarding hir identity; ze only identifies as a girl for political reasons, and would prefer people acknowledged the possibility of a world without the influence of binary genders. This is why Stela identifies as exobinary.
Possible ideobinary examples
⭑ Violli is an alteandrogyne; someone whose gender is androgyne, but a version of androgyne which is on a mirror universe/on a different plane of existence. Violli doesn't feel like eir identity is that related to binary genders and isn't comfortable with the idea that eir gender is just "in the middle" between male and female, but ey also doesn't see eir gender as completely independent from the binary, so ey just identifies as ideobinary within the alibinary system.
⭑ Giuli is a demiboy. He has a partial connection to the concept of boy, but he doesn't consider himself boy-adjacent. Giuli considers his gender to be a nonbinary mess, with some of this mess pointing to the idea of boyness and boyhood. He considers himself ideobinary because he doesn't feel close to a binary gender and considers his nonbinaryness more important than his boyness, but his gender relies on the concept of being a boy in some ways.
⭑ Jack is an antigirl/ungirl. This means xeir gender is defined as an opposite of girl. Jack doesn't consider xeir gender to be anywhere close to boy, just away from girl, and so xe has trouble figuring out xeir gender presentation and desired transition. Jack doesn't feel like xeir gender identity is free from the influence of binary genders, but also doesn't consider xemself close to binary genders, so xe identifies as ideobinary.
⭑ Wyr is genderfae, which means ver gender changes from time to time, but never to masculine genders. Wyr is sometimes a woman, or partly a woman, but a lot of the time, ver experiences genders that exist completely outside of the binary, such as maverique, neutrois or stargender, and sometimes Wyr is graygender or genderless. Ve also experiences feminine nonbinary genders sometimes, such as femgender. Wyr identifies as ideobinary and exobinary, since ve identifies with being outside of the binary and with having some relationship to the binary but not being close to it.
Possible mesobinary examples
⭑ Robin's gender is in-between woman and proxvir; a gender that is similar to man/male, but separate. To keep it simple, Robin just identifies as androgyne. Even so, zey feels like treating male and female as opposite universes that can't interact together in any way is invalidating zeir gender, and zey doesn't fit in very well with "fuck gender" jokes or "gender is not a thing" rhetoric. Robin describes zeir desired transition and presentation as transandrogynous, because zey wants to be in a state in-between binary genders, although zey finds it hard to find resources that don't equate androgyny with soft masculinity. Because of those things, Robin feels like mesobinary fits zem better than other terms within the alibinary system.
⭑ Jyoti is a neulier/gender neutral/femil/maverique polygender person. This means sie has many genders, and that one of hir genders is woman-like and entirely neutral, another is neutral, another is woman-like but masculine, and another is not male, female or neutral, but is a specific nonbinary gender that exists. Jyoti hates being seen as feminine and is undergoing hormone replacement therapy to be seen as more masculine, even if that means sie may get mistaken for a man. Even so, sie is not a man, and half of hir genders are woman-like, so sie would like to be able to participate in woman's spaces or identify with labels meant for women. This causes some problems, since people want Jyoti to "pick" between identifying as a trans man or as a cis woman, when sie is neither. Jyoti identifies as mesobinary because, even though sie isn't a man at all gender-wise and isn't much of a woman either, sie feels like hir experiences and struggles are close to those of people who are in-between binary genders.
⭑ Taylor is a man/woman genderfluid person. Taylor doesn't relate much to nonbinary-centric terms, such as diamoric or trixic, because hu is almost always either a man or a woman. However, hu doesn't think it's fair for hum to use terms such as sapphic or achillean on profiles since hu won't change those every time hus gender changes, and hu feels awkward on men-only/women-only spaces because people assume you can only be one and not be other the next day. Taylor identifies as mesobinary because, even if hu isn't "in the middle" between binary genders, hu feels like hu experiences similar issues to those who are.
⭑ Eri is a librandrogyne, which means voi is agender with a connection to androgyny. Eri wants voids androgyny acknowledged/respected, even though voi doesn't consider voidself as someone with a gender. Because of this, Eri identifies mainly as mesobinary, even if voi also identifies a bit with being exobinary and ideobinary.
Possible viabinary examples
⭑ Myriam is transfeminine. Myriam is generally fine with being seen/treated as a binary woman, but kit also wants kits nonbinaryness to be acknowledged, especially within nonbinary, trans and queer spaces. This is why kit identifies as viabinary.
⭑ Lex is a mutare, which means neir gender is always changing to something else. However, Lex doesn't mind being seen as a man in general, and some of the genders ne goes through are male-related genders anyways. Lex identifies as viabinary because even though neir gender identity is fluid and has multiple possibilities, ne doesn't like the idea of completely letting go from a binary identity and presentation.
⭑ Karo is a faesari: someone who's on the gender neutral spectrum, but who has a strong attachment to femininity. Gem doesn't really feel like a woman at all, but would like to be able to not care about being seen as a woman without getting or feeling invalidated for "not trying hard enough" to "look/act more nonbinary". Karo identifies as viabinary for that, but also as ideobinary, since gem fits that definition too.
⭑ Aldenir is a melle. As in, her gender is male, but not masculine at all; it's feminine instead. Aldenir considers her gender to be different from binary male, but related to it, and would like to be respected as a nonbinary person (instead of "just GNC") and as someone who isn't and doesn't want to be considered androgynous, neutral, transfeminine and/or a woman. Because of this, Aldenir identifies as viabinary.
Notes
⭑ The examples given are examples. Not everyone who is any of the gender identities listed will define them exactly as I have defined them here, not everyone who has those experiences needs to choose the labels or pronouns I've chosen here, etc.
⭑ These are *possible* examples because I want to stress there is not a huge pool of people who have defined themselves as exobinary/mesobinary/ideobinary/viabinary yet, these examples are all made up so I can show people what I am going for with this system.
⭑ Feel free to tag this blog on posts about using the alibinary system that you want to be shared!

Gender / Orientation is not a diagnosis.
“I feel like X and Y and Z. What am I?”
“I identify as A, but my friend says I’m more like B. Who’s right?”
“I express C through D. Is this E?”
The answer will always, always be that you should decide that by yourself.
We get questions at @ask-pride-color-schemes - and not only that, I see many similar questions directed at other blogs - that act like there are people that are the Grand Arbitrers of Identity, that we will be able to figure out Your True Identity and then you’ll be happy with it forever, but it doesn’t work like that.
What we have is experience and resources that may help you when we explain what certain labels mean, or when we try to interpret what you mean and narrow down your search to a few named identities, if what you describe is accurate and if there are accurate words to describe what you are describing.
But we can’t know what your experiences with certain words are, or if you are omitting something important because of shame/internalized hatred, or if your vocabulary is kind of off and then we think neutrality when you meant between male and female, or we think woman-aligned when you meant feminine.
And we understand that we can’t know for sure what you feel! Or that you may not know how to express how you feel! Or that what you feel may change! And it’s ok if you word questions like absolutes because you didn’t think about what it was implying and not because you expect an “expert answer” that puts all your doubts to rest. But please don’t expect us to know everything that you know/experience.
[If you can’t see it because you are on mobile, there’s a cut here.]
Some examples:
“I was AFAB and I have a big chest and it bothers me. I don’t care about my genitalia though. What gender am I?”
We don’t know. Maybe you are a cis girl who is bothered because your chest gets in the way of everything. Maybe you wanted to try male section clothing but they all fit weirdly, but that doesn’t have anything to do with gender.
But sure, we assume that since you went to a gender blog, and are asking about gender, you are dysphoric. We are going to suggest masculine genders, and male-related genders, and neutral genders. Even though all of those could be wrong! You can be a maverique or a demigirl or a genderfluid person.
“I’m attracted to neutral/masculine NB people and men, and I wanted to identify as bi to be respectful but every bi group out there puts an emphasis about how bi people are attracted to both men and women and/or about how they don’t care about gender. Should I really identify as bi?”
That’s up to you! We don’t know about how much the bi groups have affected the understanding of your identity. We don’t know if you’d feel safe with labels that basically have no community such as nowoma and nofin. We don’t necessarily know if ply groups would do the same.
We don’t know whether it would be ideal to you to identify as het or gay (perhaps even homoflexible/heteroflexible), depending on your gender and on how often you actually have to interact with nonbinary people, because even if yes it would be disrespectful, real life is more nuanced than “you have to id as exactly how your orientation works or you are a terrible person”.
We don’t know if you would feel good about identifying as queer or pomo, or if just sticking with bi and raising awareness of how bi is not basically pan or attraction to binary genders would be a better option.
“My presentation is read as feminine but I identify as neutrois. There are people saying I should just identify as a woman or transfeminine then, but I feel like I already dress up neutrally enough. What should I do?”
We are probably going to say that presentation is not the same thing as identity, and that presentation is up to interpretation anyways, so you can be neutrois regardless of your presentation and you may see yourself as neutral regardless of how other people interpret your looks.
But it’s not impossible that you just don’t feel girly enough because of your appearance, while you actually have a womanly or feminine gender. Or that you want a neutral presentation but you are actually colorgender or polygender or something else.
We are always going to interpret what you are saying as the truth and not try to look into whether you are wrong about yourself, because that would be disrespectful. But it’s also not our fault for trusting and respecting you instead of dismissing your feelings as internalized hatred, as inaccurate, as irresponsible.
If your feelings change, please don’t hesitate in asking us for new possibilities. We won’t force you to give up any identity you like, or force you to take one you dislike. But please don’t put the blame on “MOGAI blogs” for not giving you a fixed answer or for giving you answers you don’t like or eventually grow to dislike.

Is genderfluid limited to genders within the binary (male, female) only, or can it be any of the genders? (Agender, demigirl, demiboy, etc.) Cause I feel agender one day, then pangender the next.
Lee says:
Genderfluid can be any gender! Genderflux refers to going from agender to a different gender, which could also describe what you’re talking about. But you might want to look for an alternative to Pangender [x] like multigender, maxigender, or polygender.
You might be GENDERFLUX (also known as GENDERFLEX)! This identity is a fluid one, going between genderlessness and genderedness. What that gendered part is, only you can tell, but for now, if you think this describes you, check out these resources for more info!
If you think this describes you, check out these resources for more info (or talk to mod Ren, who IDs as genderfluid)! (Close but not quite? Check out #17.)

I made xenoboy and xenogirl flags using the enboy/girlby flag and the xenby flag colors! If these closely resemble other flags they can be veritcally flipped.
Xenoboy: Being a xenic man or boy, either as a polygender/gendervast of xenogender and male, as a solarian xenic man or a multiboy with xenic genders.
Xenogirl: Being a xenic woman or girl, either as a polygender/gendervast of xenogender and female, as a lunarian xenic woman or a multigirl with xenic genders.
Defs from Gender-Resource. These terms can essentially be used like more specific forms of enboy and girlby as they literally have the same definition format. I added some synonymous gender terms to the defs, considering that I and many others are pleonotic.
