MJ and Poppy were in the back of the van. Poppy was playing a game of solitaire on MJ's unconscious body and opened the van door hearing Stiles. She poked her head out and waved at her family friend. "Hey there stranger, I haven't seen you since you picked me up from Moonscar Island. MJ needs her stomach pumped and it surprisingly wasn't the mushrooms."

OH OF COURSE!

Angel has an younger brother + their mom and dad. Their brother, Miguel, is around 3 and a half years younger. Compared to their parents, Angel looks more like their dad, named Roger, while Miguel took more on their mother's side – her name is Marlene!

Marlene is a brazilian woman, and she met her husband when he started working there for his job. They met and just clicked! Marlene was the more forward of the two, tho, as Roger was always a very shy man. They rarely have arguments or fight, and they're very close to each other.

Some year after the family moved over to the USA, Miguel ended up marrying Amy, his wife and Angel's sister-in-law. They have two kids atm, an older girl and a baby boy who's barely two months old when Poppy Worldwide happens. I haven't settled on their names yet and I think I may have accidentally said somewhere in the fic that the boy was older, but anyways!

SPOILERS FOR POPPY WORLDWIDE UNDER THE CUT, EVERYONE

Angel's family had to move over to the USA in order to find a better life. Angel worked their ass off for years before things finally became stable for everyone. Miguel as well, but Angel took the responsibility, believing that Miguel should try to be a normal teen instead.

Roger and Marlene LOVE Amy! She's the only person there that can calm Miguel down when he's anxious, and she has excellent baking skills.

Overall, everyone is in for a surprise when Angel, instead of dying or becoming missing because they got into big trouble, returns after a week with +80 kids to take care off. Their Angel, being a PARENT? That's crazy! And somehow, they're good at it????? Not surprising, but like. Dang, this was the same guy that almost taught his niece how to do arson! Wow!

I havent settled on any appearances yet, but Roger is a pale blonde that looks more like a ghost, and Marlene is darker. Idk how to properly translate the term "parda"!

Surprise blurb bomb!

You were walking through the park on your way to the pond. In a weird gift, a friend had given you a coupon for a free boat ride. It expired this weekend, and she was going out of town with her husband, so that left you to hang out in the park by yourself. It wasn’t all bad. You got to feed the ducks and the fish, which was almost always enjoyable, except you forgot to bring a piece of bread. No worries, though, because a dreamy man offers you half of his and the two of you fall into easy conversation. You look over at the boat house to see that they’re befall boats. There’s no way your feet can reach, but you bet his can, so you invite him along to keep your conversation going. Who’s your babe?

gut reaction is steve bc feeding the fish and ducks sounds like senior citizen behavior (but it's cute so it's fine). i can picture him sitting on a bench with some stale bread, but not just the bread bc you shouldn't give ducks too much of that, so he brings shit like grapes and regular birdseed as well.

also i'm assuming you mean a pedal boat?? bc you mentioned having to use your feet, so. hopefully that's correct. but anyway, again, steve is our beloved old-fashioned babe and an impromptu date on a pedal boat screams old school to me and i think he'd be more than happy to accompany you. after the boat ride he'd probably take you for ice cream cones or something. i'm picturing him in his 1940s outfits, you know? he wears those trousers so well 😮‍💨🤌

i think by the time he's flagging down a cab for you, you're glad your friend couldn't join you for the day at the park bc you got to meet a hunky dreamboat who kisses your hand when he helps you into the cab with your number written on a napkin safely tucked away in the breast pocket of his shirt.

Ehem. Just dropping in to let Poppy know that before Poppy- Kingston never even thought if women apart from Rena. Not even in a 'I'd hit' kind of way, even during those 'non monogymous stages' Rena put them through. Even Ryan thinks that about some women he sees. King just wasn't interested.

This is for various reasons, some kinda sad, but the point I want Poppy to take in is the fact she was SO CUTE and so wonderful she catapulted King out of his slump and he w i l l tell her that XD

What other reasons are there that Kingston only focuses on his one gal? You said some are sad; are all those sad reasons because of Rena? Mr. And Mrs. Kangaroo don't seem like they struggled with their marriage... (wicked I swear if they had their own rough patches that shaped how Kingston views love, you owe me a new heart 😭😂).

And!!! For Poppy!! Ohhhh my god. She's got no idea how to handle this. This sounds like a plot to a romance film; how could little old, anxious, stays-at-home her have broken a man like KING out of his slump???

I'm just imagining King decides to bring this up randomly while they're cuddling on the couch, watching a nice movie, or reading together. Poppy laughs softly, very flattered but not really letting this information sink in, "Oh, King. You're too sweet to me." until Kingston tilts her head up so she can see the earnest love in his eyes, "No, darlin'. I'm serious. 'Yer the only other woman I've wanted. Ain't no one like 'ya."

And then Poppy stops, looks almost like a deer in headlights as she fully realizes the way he's holding her, how he's looking at her. And it hits her so hard that she's got someone who loves and treasures her THIS much. She has to look away and cover her face with her sweater or in his shoulder, feeling overwhelmed with this but so happy and loved, even if she has no idea how someone like her got a guy like King. And Kingston can't help but laugh and fall even harder for his adorable little lady, "King!" // "Haha, what, doll? I'm just tellin' the truth!" // *flustered, happy girlfriend noises* "I love you too!"

She loves him so much. He makes her feel like the luckiest gal in the world. She wants Kingston to know how happy he makes her and how this new information affects her heart ❤️
