I didn't work whith watercolor for 8 years. Therefore, I did not have watercolor paper. I noticedthe album for the Strathmore 400 Watercolor 300 gr from USA. The size is not standart A3 - 27,9 * 38,1 cm. I saw this product in Ukraine only at store Master Kisti, so I wanted to see what this paper represents. After such a long break there was a fear of a set of colors, shaved to darken (and not for nothing as it turned out). Plus unfamilar paper is not clear how to behave. The paper had to adapt. In this work, I didn't need painting spots and divorces, I tried to make smooth transitions, but I had to follow this. After the paint dries up, there are clear boundaries and stains of divorce. I had to gently blur again. Often times it happened that the top layer of paint, blurred the buttom, it was not always possible to layer. Perhaps, it was in the brushes, not in paper. But to make a highlight or lighten it turned out effortlessly! The paper really withstands many layers of paint and water. And I had a lot of them! It did not lead, did not jar and no spools were found! While the sheet on the tablet I didn't pull, and the paint tape was constantly peeling off and did not keep the job. After the synthetic brush was changed to a squirrel, the work went fastet and more confidently.

Обратила внимание на альбом для акварели Strathmore 400 Watercolor 300 гр из США. Размер не стандарный А3 - 27.9* 38.1 см. Этого производителя в Украине я видела только в одном магазине, поэтому захотелось посмотреть, что из себя представляет именно эта бумага. Да и цена сравнительно не такая уж и большая - 392 грн была. В альбоме не было перфорации на листах, для того, чтоб можно было вырвать лист с ровным краем, без зазубрин от спирали. Это немного разочаровало, т. к. консультанты по телефону сказали, что перфорация есть. В дальнейшем все вопросы буду выяснять через инстаграм, долдно быть достоверней. После такого долгого перерыва была боязнь в наборе цвета, брялась перетемнить (и не зря как оказалось). Плюс незнакомая бумага непонятно как себе поведет. К бумаге надо было приспособиться. В этой работе живописные пятна и разводы мне были не нужны, старалась делать плавные переходы, а за этим приходилось следить. Ведь после того, как краска подсыхала, появлялись четкие границы и пятна разводов. Приходилось аккуратно опять размывать. Частенько бывала, что верхний слой краски, размывал нижний, не всегда получалось наслаивание. Хотя, возможно, дело было в кистях, а не в бумаге. Зато сделать блик или высветлить получалось без усилий! Бумага действительно выдерживает много слоев краски и воды. А у меня их было оочень много! Ее не повело, не покоробило и никаких катышков не было выявлено! При том что лист на планшет я не натягивала, а малярный скотч постоянно отклеивался и не держал работу. После того как синтетические кисти поменяла на белку, работа пошла быстрее и уверенней.
