amber thought that without blue, she would be pretty lonely. most of her childhood friends had left portsim or were currently incarcerated, so she wasn't sure what to fill her days with other than running around adventuring with blue.

nolan had no issue filling his time, though. he spent day after day 'honing his craft' which was really poorly-timed song mixing that amber pretended to enjoy.

Meet Eric and Kelsey ft @florwal save file

They are both from Strangerville and met one night at the local dive bar on "Western Night". Kelsey came with her friends and Eric performed with his band. Eric and his friends are truck drivers by day and a band by night. Unlike his friend Ronan, Eric does not hook up with just anyone and when he saw Kelsey during his performance he just knew he had to talk to her. They both felt attraction from just one look and felt a pull between them, from that day on their friend groups emerged. They hung out a lot and naturally some others in the group started to form personal relationships as well. One day Kelsey found out she was pregnant as she felt sick lately and surprisingly she was happy because it was with someone she really loved and Eric was ready. Eric took time off to spend as much time with Kelsey and their upcoming baby. The group was very supportive of them when they shared the news. They currently just had a baby boy named Donnie. that monday, kamari approaches tommy at his locker - asking him why after ignoring all of her attempts in getting to know him is he finally (and all of a sudden) interested in her. it results in a small back and forth before tommy reveals that he's just scared of getting feelings for another girl; it's then he lets kamari in on the disappearance of his girlfriend, whitney. kamari gets a bit upset, not knowing that he even had a girlfriend, but she sees sadness in his eyes and she explains that they can take it slow for now. tommy is still afraid and has a bit of anxiety after whitney's disappearance - leaving him constantly worried that kamari may disappear? as well as... what if whitney were to come back? he tries pushing it to the back of his mind... for now.

but, the bell rings before he can fully lean in and mrs. prescott sees them, causing them both to run off; kamari to her afternoon class and tommy....well, he went back home.

portsim is a small city in the south. it was established as a town in 1752, and the current population is 97,915. it's full of history and has a lot of culture. with increasing poverty rates, gang violence, and a drug epidemic, crime is at an all time high. will the city’s new mayor be able to make portsim a safer place?

4 months in the making and it’s finally here! huge thank you to everyone that’s been following me through the process. ♡ y’all are so kind and supportive and i really appreciate all the love. this was originally going to be a personal save, it’s inspired by my hometown (portsmouth, virginia) most builds are based off real places around me, and some households are based off my friends and family. this is very much still personal to me!

willow creek, newcrest, and magnolia promenade have been rebuilt, repopulated, and transformed into one large town

i own all packs and kits, if you don't you can still play this save but build and cas objects will be missing

check out the portsim townie index (wip) to read their bios and keep up with their stories. some already have posts but some are empty, i’ll be adding more as i play

21 residential lots / 19 community lots - please read community lot descriptions because most are multi functional! i also left some empty commercial spaces that are “for lease” so i can add things as new packs come out

added new holidays - i changed names to be more realistic and added a few (spring cleaning day, easter, independence day, halloween, christmas eve)

added 5 new clubs (city officials, a gang, a cult, a record label, painting classes by a townie)

i’ve never made a save file before, and this is just the first version. please let me know if you run into any issues. i want to eventually add more households, and i also want to add + rebuild other worlds

i highly suggest turning the eco lifestyle ep’s eco foot print + npc voting off, unless you want the town to look apocalyptic and the trinity church community space to be set to the winter version during summer etc

i turned neighborhood stories off, but sims were still adopting babies and divorcing each other so i kept them all in the my households tab, you don’t have to keep them there!

shoutout to @cowplant-snacks and @nightlioness for letting me use some of their sims as background townies so there's not as many ugly npcs

next world that’s going to be added: oasis springs + del sol valley - idk which one will be out first! but they're coming soon ♡

amber wasn't exactly keen to move back home to portsim, but the party scene here was too big an opportunity to pass up for nolan. ever since she was young, amber hoped to live in biggest, fanciest home with the most money.

while nolan was just getting started, she knew that he would be so successful (and rich. very, very rich.)

So, this is my girl Nina, she lives in county street at Portsims, where a new day means a gunshot symphony by street gang members. Ninas neighbors house is a trap house where weed and cocaine are distributed daily. Nina grew in this environment and know very well the street dance. Being raised by her old grandparents after her mother died from overdose, she practically was raised on the streets but she is determined to enjoy life at its best and get out of the neighborhood as soon as she can. Her grandmother Aurea, died a year ago due to an aneurism. She was 90 years old but she was taking care of her husband Carlos Rodriguez. Nina was not that close with her grandma being a difficult teenager for her, but she loves her grandpa with all her heart. He was bedridden for the past ten years and yesterday Nina buried him in Olive Branch Cemetery.

Nina now lives by herself in her grandparent house, she dropped out from school after her grandma died so that she could take care of her grandpa. Now that he died, she does not know what to do with her life. Fortunately the foodstamp will still come and the house does not owe but the taxes. This gives her time to plan what will be her next move.

Mr. Wright [on the phone]: Ms. Gray, I can only do so much, there are things you’re gonna have to just let go fot the sake of the big picture. Riley: I understand that. but I don’t think anyone can see the anything besides the rundown house.

Mr. Wright [on the phone]: Ms. Gray, the house is in an safe neighborhood, with frequent police patrols and in a good location regarding supermarkets and parks. I think you underestimate how lucky you got here. Riley: [frustrated] Sir, I don’t think you’ve been to this place recently.

Riley: [frustrated] Mr. Wright I’m at the door, right now, and I’m looking at two city hall’s condemnation noticces. Not one. Two. Mr. Wright [on the phone]: [impacient] I’ll contact city hall to remove those orders from the building. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have some business’ to attend to. Have a good day.

Riley: M-Mr. Wright? Hello? He turned off. Riley: God, this is really not my week...

NARRATOR:

Riley spent the next few hours of day light trying to get some orden in the house, it was way worse on the inside than it looked on the outside. There was trash everywhere, she would need to call all the light and water companies in town in the hopes of one of them agreeing to turn on her service again, and those were just the most urgent problems.

She didn’t want to let herself delve into the rabbit hole of the problems she had be facing lately, but it was hard not to think about how her life changed so much in so little time, and how many — if not all— of those changes were not for good.

A few hours later... Police sirens sounding in the background

??? [panting after sneaking through the window]: Fuck, that was close. ??? [looking out the window]: Fucking pigs... Riley: Uh... h-hello?

Riley: Who are you?
