you will feel so alive again.. like so incredibly alive. i dont know when that will be but it will be. u are gonna feel so alive that ur cheeks hurt from smiling oh man oh man i promise that day is coming. you do have a future, you do have good things coming, and you’ll survive everything that’s thrown at you until you reach that day

And the most important thing to remember is that you have time. Time to discover new people and new projects and new places; time to heal from your past and your wounds. You might feel like you’re getting nothing done and nothing is happening, but you have time to discover your soul. It will happen for you <3

Platonic love is important too, be nice to each other, compliment people, tell people that you love them. Kindness shouldn’t be mistaken for flirting and people deserve to be appreciated.

The connections you’ve been making, the meaning you’ve been unearthing, and the lessons you’ve been gathering are all a part of you learning to live fully right here. - Morgan Harper Nichols

"Sometimes," said Julia, "I feel the past and the future pressing so hard on either side that there's no room for the present at all."

things july taught me
if you want it, go and get it
you attract what you need
smile a bit more. sometimes life is more wonderful that way
its okay to be all over the place & to not have your life together
sometimes people let you down. thats okay
forgiving hurts and forgetting is easier but it will be okay. things take time to heal
talking to people actually helps sometimes…
the amount of effort you put into something may not directly translate to the results you want to see
trust your gut. its right.
its okay to be angry at those you once held dear
everything will be better in the end. maybe not alright, but better.
trust yourself > anyone else
cry about it. like actually. its so theraputic. cry about everything and nothing but don’t mope about it forever :-)
do what you love with 100%
dont be codependent on people — people will inadverdently hurt you in some way or another. depend on yourself first and foremost
its okay to be disappointed in those you hold close
sometimes people come for a season and they leave right after. give grace and be thankful for their presence, and don’t fixate on their leaving forever :”)
if it hurts you that badly, its not a small matter
love people so loudly they never doubt that they are loved

You might have disappointed some people; this doesn’t mean you are a disappointment.
you might not have have met some people’s needs; this doesn’t mean you are a failure.
you might not have received the love you needed; this doesn’t mean you are unlovable. just because you did not meet other people’s expectations doesn’t mean you are fundamentally flawed or a waste of space. You are a human who is growing and learning and trying again.
