ok so i know i am biased, but one of the things i love so much about your take on all of your muses on here is how you really take into account the full picture of their character? like take a character like baron, who is an ancient vampire with a really rich history but also his whole function in the comedy show he comes from in canon is to be comedic, & yet your portrayal gives literally centuries worth of depth & history to him without ever losing the core vibes from the comedic source material? it's the way that you never shy away from doing the deep dives into your characters and their motivations. & like with a character like laszlo, who would be so easy to make into a punch line, you do an amazing job of honoring and exploring his depths without ever turning him into someone unrecognizable. & i love hearing you talk about them & their motivations & their nuances & the way you craft their dialogue & mindset in-text is so compelling & insightful every single time. im obsessed with everything you do & im so grateful to have you just so you know.

I think we need to get more comfortable with the idea that sometimes shitty, racist, homophobic, bigoted people are still incredibly talented.

I feel like every time I see a post addressing someone’s shitty behavior the post also takes the time to mention that they’re not even good at [x] anyway. And that’s just not always true? Equating being good at a skill as being morally good is just not necessary. Someone can be a fantastic writer, can have a beautiful singing voice, can create breathtaking artwork, and still be a horrible person.

I know part of this is probably just the instinct to dislike everything about a person when you dislike them, but I also think this mindset leads to people defending creatives way past where they should, because if bad people create bad art, then if this person creates art that I like and resonates with me, then they can’t be a bad person!

And you know. That’s just not true. Those two things are simply completely unconnected and I think it’d be healthier if we all started disconnecting them in our heads.

can't remember things (or anything!) about your interests

forget to eat, sleep, go to the bathroom, etc

forget to reply to texts

remember things and immediately forget them again

can't remember birthdays, events, etc

frequently answer 'I forgot' to questions

can't retain new information

forget things you used to know

only remember things when it's too late

have vague, distorted and/or unreliable memories

depend on others to know how an event you were in played out

have other symptoms that are worsened by memory issues and vice versa

... and anything else I might have missed!

I feel like a lotta people don’t understand this but <2 is NOT just a “platonic heart.” It’s used by the aspec (mostly aro) community to signify a love that differs and is divergent from the norm and what is typically seen as “love.” It is also used by loveless aros to signify their lack of feeling love, but presence of another emotion like compassion or appreciation.

Please don’t simplify it down to being a “platonic heart.” It’s so much more than that.
