in germany, chris evan‘s roles (including steve) are mostly voiced by dennis schmidt-foß, but as johnny storm he‘s voiced by benedikt weber, and it made for a really cool moment during dp&w. bc wade’s super convinced that he‘s steve, but all the german people who watch the german dub of marvel movies religiously are already like huh??? bc that‘s NOT steve rogers‘ voice, and then when it’s revealed that he‘s actually johnny, wade‘s like "ah yeah, i should’ve known from the voice". and idk, it’s not hilarious or anything, but it just made me soo happy that they used wade‘s 4th wall breaks differently in different languages. just felt the need to share this

I think we need to normalize using "people" as a species neutral word.

Like idk in my brain the word people just doesn't automatically = human. To me it's just a way to signify intelligence and individuality, and to emphasize the need for respect towards another creature, not specific to any one species.

Dogs can be people, mice can be people, dragons can be people, humans can be people, birds can be people, elves can be people, robots can be people, and so on.

It's also (in my opinion) just much easier than always saying "beings" or "individuals" when referring to varying assortments of creatures.

Hoshina stayed silent. While he had never thought it through, that was exactly how he felt. He could have everything in the world and he'd still feel too little for your love.

"I don't know. I'd love to know what you see in me, Soushirou. But I love you. My love is for you and you alone," you said. "I fear that's all there is to it. It's probably not as valuable as you expect... but it's all yours."

Oh, how wrong you were. That was precisely why it was so valuable. It was your love. Love from you. And here you were, telling him it was all for him. He didn't know how to react— he didn't know how to express such a grand happiness that washed over him.

"I'd do anything for you," he said, avoiding eye contact, and you gasped a little, but it surprised him too. He wasn't one to say such a line.

"But you wouldn't have to," you said. "Just tell me you love me every once in a while and I'm yours forever."

He turned to look up at you, eyes wide in slight disbelief almost, but the look on your face washed his worries away. Finally, a chuckle.

"I love you so much, you don't even know."

Noir is the type to poetically monologue about a man from his youth that "had he been a dame, we would have been lovers" with such dramatic intensity you'd think he was talking about the love of his life

But then if someone asked Noir anything suggesting that he's attracted to men, he'd dismiss it like "Now don't get me wrong, that crowd is fine by me, but I'm not a homosexual. I like dames too much, haha."
