THE ROYAL CHRONICLES : The Honeymoon .* :☆゚。 ・
On 30 April 2011, the day after their big day, Catherine and William travelled in a helicopter from Buckingham Palace to a secret location for a short break.
Their actual honeymoon was delayed for an indefinite time as per their wishes. However it was later revealed that they spent it in Seychelles.
The new Duchess of Cambridge wore Zara's cornflower blue 'pleated dress' with a black Ralph Lauren jacket and her favourite L.K. Bennett pumps.

My perspective on "kategate" is rooted in personal & professional (American) experiences. Perhaps this post will help someone.
My Charles- Catherine theory:
Charles' Cancer diagnosis was not entirely unexpected
BRF is hoping for the best AND preparing for the worst
In My imagination: Before the Coronation, Wills & Kate revisited their checklist of major things to do before Wills becomes king: Kate's surgery was on that list. Charles feeling "unwell" sped up the timing of what may have been Catherine's "future" surgery.
A planned (disruptive) medical event scheduled to fit the best time in the life of a princess who is the future queen consort & mother of his heir.
What the world knew:
BRF Major Health Updates
PROSTATE Procedure -king
Benign ABDOMINAL surgery -wife of king's heir (princess)
Results
Undisclosed location of malignancy-king
Successful surgery. Medical leave of absence (at minimum) through Easter-princess
Protocols
Weekly (undisclosed) "treatments" & crowd control -king
Discharged home to Windsor to continue recovery-princess
Prognosis
Caught early (intentional slip via Rishi)-KC
Making good progress-Princess
Princess well enough to travel to her Amner home w/husband & kids for school break
What the Media Heard
What the Media Did...
Tumblr to the Media: stop feeding the sewer squad!
I've personally experienced a medical talk: "at some point in your life, you should PLAN x (a very disruptive) operation"
"We advise you to make PLANS to undergo x surgery, preferably before the age of your mother's x. Pick the best time for your busy schedule and lifestyle as it will be a major disruption. It's prophylactic so there's no rush and of course this is a recommendation, but studies show that it will prevent you from developing x or at minimum, significantly decrease the probability of you ever developing x, a life threatening malignancy. Sorry, we cannot tell you when, but just PLAN to do it when it fits your (busy) lifestyle & schedule."
Me during "the talk"
Me listening to 2nd 3rd 4th opinions
Sometimes our PLANS get interrupted
"In the end, everything will be okay. If it's not okay, it's not the end."
How did the British media vultures ignore "Keep Calm and Carry On"
Many members of this family have been treated for malignancies and other life threatening illnesses and yet they have remained tight lipped.
Perhaps King Charles had a recurrence or even developed a malignancy secondary to previous adjuvant treatments. No one needs to know the location of his tumor.
Perhaps Catherine's procedure was not prophylactic. She could have been uncomfortable for a very long time. No one needs to know Catherine's diagnosis.
I do want them to be well & become humble servants of Christ Jesus, like Queen Elizabeth.
Open to hearing corrections & thoughts.

Watching screeners of the new season of The Crown, I must say that I chuckle when people throw fits about the comparisons between Princess Diana and Meghan because time and her death have caused them to forget that Diana was slammed in much the same way. But some of us actually remember.
"Diana never tried to destroy the monarchy," they say, but that's exactly what she was accused of. And more, she was painted as manipulating the press to make herself look good and the royal family look bad, difficult to work for, a liar, etc... It all feels familiar.

Let me just say right off the bat that I have no sympathy for Kate Middleton and William due to what they did to Meghan Markle.
Now none of this mess would be happening if Will and Kate had been forthcoming over the years and even at this time. If Kate is incapacitated then they (William) should just tell the public that, if she had some sort of complication due to the surgery like a stroke then they (William) should be forthcoming about that as well. If they are getting a divorce then they should just rip off the bandaid and announce it because all the cloak-and-dagger actions are getting ridiculous.
The only thing that’s going to end this conspiracy mess is for both of them to be truthful which unfortunately is something that they’re not capable of doing.

Kategate is nuts. It has a whiff of decadence, too. I can’t be the only person wondering what it says about our country that so many people have oodles of time to scrutinise a pic like jumped-up Columbos. Do people work? ‘This photo raises even more questions about Kate’s health and whereabouts!’, The kate truthers cry. No it doesn’t. Your obsession with it raises questions about your sanity, though..
Leave Kate Middleton alone

Well done everyone for ruining Mother’s Day for the Princess of Wales. I hope you’re proud of yourselves. A young-ish mum posts a lovely photo of herself surrounded by her beaming kids and instead of saying ‘Ahh’ you pore over it like lunatic sleuths for signs of villainous photoshopping. End result: mum issues an apology. For doing something sweet. On Mother’s Day. You all need to get off the internet.
The obsession with that pic of Catherine and her three children has become unhinged. It’s still on the front pages of the papers. ‘PICTURE OF CHAOS’, screams the Mirror. Oh behave. There’s war in Europe and the Middle East, an energy crisis, a lame-duck government waddling to defeat and people waiting five days in A&E to see a nurse, and you’re still yapping about a princess slightly misaligning her daughter’s sleeve while editing a family photo?
Kategate is nuts. It has a whiff of decadence, too. Do people work? ‘This photo raises even more questions about Kate’s health and whereabouts!’, the Kate truthers cry. No it doesn’t. Your obsession with it raises questions about your sanity, though.
Hypocrisy is at play. I bet you every one of the hacks writing breathless reports about Kate’s scandalous doctoring of a photo have on occasion filtered themselves into oblivion for profile pics on social media. Everyone does. Colour added to pallid faces, crow’s feet trimmed, blemishes erased. I thought we all knew that pretty much every photo we see online – whether of celebrity or civilian – has been touched up in some way?
The way people are banging on about the princess’s photoshopping – which caused tiny...
