The imperial family of Francesim (Collateral : Henri branch)
Tumblr media
Princess Napoléon
Her Imperial Highness, Princess Napoléon Olympia of the French
Olympia Sophia Simparte, born von Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel.
Wife of the imperial prince Henri of the French. It was a marriage arranged by Emperor Napoléon IV, but the couple are now in love. Olympia is very attached to the rules of the empire and its protocol, unlike her husband. She tries to teach this to all her children, especially as Henri is the new heir to the throne. Although not all her daughters are very receptive to this, her son Prince Philippe joins her in this opinion. Olympia has also taught her entire family the German language.

Princess of Francesim
Her Imperial Highness, Princess Amélie of Francesim
Amélie Simparte
Amélie is the eldest of the sisters and therefore their main reference. Like her father, she has a free and confident character. She likes to meet people, try new things and fears routine. Amélie isn't very attached to family speeches, and is quite introverted when she is surrounded by her family. This worries her parents a lot.

Princess of Francesim
Her Imperial Highness, Princess Sophie of Francesim
Sophie Simparte
Sophie loves everything that gives her the life of a princess and consumes it without moderation: her life is endless fun with excess. Still young, she is rather controlled by her mother, with whom she often argues. As a result, Sophie already worries the imperial family about the future, where she will be freer as an adult.

Princess of Francesim
Her Imperial Highness, Princess Marianne of Francesim
Marianne Simparte
Marianne is the wisest of Philippe's sisters, although she is slightly mischievous. Like him, she loves family time and makes sure everything runs smoothly. She is the best friend of Princess Caroline Murat, Joachim Murat's sister. Marianne hopes to study hard and serve the Emperor in the future.

Princess of Francesim
Her Imperial Highness, Princess Armance of Francesim
Armance Simparte
Armance is the youngest of the siblings. She appreciates being looked after by her parents and her elders. She is closer to Sophie, who amuses her a lot, to the great displeasure of her mother Olympia. She likes to have fun and can't stand arguments. Caroline of Brunswick
A portrait by Sir Thomas Lawrence, 1804, romanticism
Caroline Amelia Elizabeth of Brunswick (17.05.1768-07.08.1821) was the daughter of Charles William Ferdinand, Duke of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel and Princess Augusta of Great Britain.
Her youth was a diffictult one, due to the fact that her parents hated each other, so much as she later said that whenever she was civil to one of them , she was scolded by the other. Her education was not the best one. She was described as being an attractive girl with curly, fair hair who was witty, handsome and playful.
She was being severely restrtricted, so much so that she was banned from attending balls and when she was allowed to go to one, she was not allowed to dance. This went on so far that she simulated giving birth and when her parents came to see what was happening, she stopped simulating and demanded that she be let to visit balls.
In 1795 she married the Prince of Wales. He only agreed to marry her because he was heavily in debt and was promised that his debts would be paid off if he married her. She said that he was fat and looked nothing like his portrait.
They had one legitimate child, and after that she was inestigated for adultery, had her visits to her daughter shortened and supervides, after which she had fled england. She returned later and saw that she was still widely popular among her subjects, unlike her husband. She died at age 53 from either cancer, an intestinal obstruction or poison.
Her funeral procession was enormous and officers came shooting and hacking into the masses so that they would dissipate.

LGTBQA Royals
Frederick I of Württemberg
Frederick married Duchess Augusta of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel (sixteen years old and thus ten years his junior) on 15 October 1780 at Braunschweig. She was the eldest daughter of Charles William Ferdinand, Duke of Brunswick-Lüneburg and Princess Augusta of Great Britain and thus a niece of George III of Great Britain and sister to Caroline of Brunswick, the future wife of George IV.
The marriage was not a happy one - even during her first pregnancy in 1781 she wished to separate but was persuaded to stay with Frederick by her father. Though they had four children, Frederick was rumoured to be bisexual, with a coterie of young noblemen
*Some of these are more rumour that fact so please take with a grain of salt and with the story given.*

[1] = a union between England and Scotland was proclaimed in 1720, making Elizabeth the first monarch of Great Britain and Ireland. [2] = Leopold III ruled for barely a year after the death of his father and as such, as a lifelong bachelor until then, did not have the opportunity to marry nor father a son. [3] = I can’t say whom because I haven’t got that far down on my Romanov tree, which has been changed by Elizabeth II’s daughter Catherine Henrietta marrying Tsarevich Alexei Petrovich I initially had this slot for a to be named Russian Grand Duchess but I changed it to Maria Annunciata of Austria [4] = Henry X came to the throne unmarried. His married mistress had given birth to a son, Henry, and daughter, Eleanor, widely acknowledged to be Henry's. Once on the throne, he tried to persuade Parliament to allow him to marry a Spanish Fascist, which they refused to allow while also allowing him to remain on the throne. He abdicated in favor of his younger brother, being made to sign away the right of all his descendants to the British throne, married a Spanish Fascist and had a daughter, Patricia. [5] = styled Princess Mary at birth, then Mary, Princess Royal on the ascension of her father, eventually made Mary, Princess of Wales but chose Elizabeth as her regnal name.
{Princess Philippine Charlotte of Prussia  and Elisabeth Christine of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel-Bevern check out; Elizabeth Antonovna of Brunswick is probably fine but Princess Louise Auguste of Denmark, Princess Anna of Prussia, Princess Thyra of Denmark, Archduchess Maria Annunciata of Austria, and Henry, Duke of Parma all have George Hanoverian or post-Louis le Dauphin ancestry in them which means I need to figure out alternatives.]

Caroline of Brunswick and the Prince of Wales during the Delicate Investigation: Caroline was not permitted to see her daughter, and afterwards her visits were essentially restricted to once a week.

Caroline of Brunswick (Caroline Amelia Elizabeth; 17 May 1768 – 7 August 1821) was Queen consort of the United Kingdom as the wife of King George IV from 29 January 1820 until her death in 1821. She was the Princess of Wales from 1795 to 1820. The daughter of Charles William Ferdinand, Duke of Brunswick, and Princess Augusta of Great Britain, Caroline was engaged to her first cousin, George, in 1794 despite the two of them never having met. He was already illegally married to Maria Fitzherbert. George and Caroline married the following year but separated shortly after the birth of their only child, Princess Charlotte of Wales, in 1796. By 1806, rumours that Caroline had taken lovers and had an illegitimate child led to an investigation into her private life. The dignitaries who led the investigation concluded that there was "no foundation" to the rumours, but Caroline's access to her daughter was nonetheless restricted. In 1814, Caroline moved to Italy, where she employed Bartolomeo Pergami as a servant. Pergami soon became Caroline's closest companion, and it was widely assumed that they were lovers. In 1817, Caroline was devastated when Charlotte died in childbirth. She heard the news from a passing courier as George had refused to write and tell her. He was determined to divorce Caroline, and set up a second investigation to collect evidence of her adultery. in the presence of Caroline's own mother, the Dowager Duchess of Brunswick
